We experimentally and theoretically study a driven hybrid circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) system beyond the dispersive coupling regime. Treating the cavity as part of the driven system, we develop a theory applicable to such strongly coupled and to multi-qubit systems. The fringes measured for a single driven double quantum dot (DQD)-cavity setting and the enlarged splittings of the hybrid Floquet states in the presence of a second DQD are well reproduced with our model. This opens a path to study Floquet states of multi-qubit systems with arbitrarily strong coupling and reveals a new perspective for understanding strongly driven hybrid systems., Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures

Using the ``complexity equals action''(CA) conjecture, for an ordinary charged system, it has been shown that the late-time complexity growth rate is given by a difference between the value of $\Phi_{H}Q+\Omega_H J$ on the inner and outer horizons. In this paper, we investigate the complexity of the boundary quantum system with conical deficits. From the perspective of holography, we consider a charged accelerating black holes which contain conical deficits on the north and south poles in the bulk gravitational theory and evaluate the complexity growth rate using the CA conjecture. As a result, the late-time growth rate of complexity is different from the ordinary charged black holes. It implies that complexity can carry the information of conical deficits on the boundary quantum system., Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure

As an application in circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) coupled systems, superconducting resonators play an important role in high-sensitivity measurements in a superconductingsemiconductor hybrid architecture. Taking advantage of a high-impedance NbTiN resonator, we perform excited-state spectroscopy on a GaAs double quantum dot (DQD) by applying voltage pulses to one gate electrode. The pulse train modulates the DQD energy detuning and gives rise to charge state transitions at zero detuning. Benefiting from the outstanding sensitivity of the resonator, we distinguish different spin-state transitions in the energy spectrum according to the Pauli exclusion principle. Furthermore, we experimentally study how the interdot tunneling rate modifies the resonator response. Recently, by considering nontrivial couplings between scalar fields and the Gauss-Bonnet invariant, the Schwarzschild black hole may allow regular scalar hairy configurations. The numerical studies of this spontaneous scalarization phenomenon show if the coupling parameter $\bar{\eta}$ belongs to discrete sets $\bar{\eta}\in\{\bar{\eta}^-_n,\bar{\eta}^+_n\}^{n=\infty}_{n=0}$, the black hole can support regular scalar hairy configurations. Interestingly, Hod finds the coupling parameter $\bar{\eta}^+_n$ which correspond to the black hole linearized scalar field configurations has an asymptotic universal behavior $\Delta_n\equiv\sqrt{\bar{\eta}_{n+1}}-\sqrt{\bar{\eta}_{n}} \simeq2.72$. He provides a remarkably compact analytical explanation for the numerically observed universal behavior. Motivated by this interesting phenomenon, in this paper, we study the coupling parameter behavior in RN black hole with a nontrivial coupling between scalar fields and the Gauss-Bonnet invariant. Different from Schwarzschild case where the coupling parameter can only take positive values, in this case, the coupling parameter can take positive or negativie values. Therefore, it is interesting to investigate whether the coupling parameter has a similar asymptotic behavior in this situation. By examining numerical data, we find there is a similar asymptotic behavior for both positive and negative parameters. We also compare the analytical results with the numerical data. In this paper, we investigate the Weak Cosmic Censorship Conjecture in nearly extremal Kerr black hole by absorbing particles . In previous work, they ignore the process of black hole absorbing particles. They assume the whole particle can be absorbed and the overspinning occurs. However, it is questionable whether the whole particle can be absorbed. Therefore, we will investigate it in this paper. We consider the absorption process of a particle with finite size. During this absorption process, the black hole's parameters will change. This change will prevent the rest part of particle enter black hole. We show the part entering black hole can not overspin a nearly extremal Kerr black hole. Different from Sorce and Wald, we solve the overspinning problem for Kerr black hole without radiation effect or self-force effect. Further, we use this process to a general black hole. Under three assumptions, we show if Weak Cosmic Censorship Conjecture is valid for an extremal black hole by absorbing a particle, it will be valid for the corresponding nearly extremal black hole. In many situation, the extremal black holes satisfy Weak Cosmic Censorship Conjecture and the corresponding nearly extremal black holes don't satisfy it. Recently, O.B.Zaslavskii considers the collision near the horizon of the extremal Kerr black hole that produces two particles and one of two particles has divergent conserved killing energy(the so called super Penrose process). O.B.Zaslavskii shows this particle can not move in a asymptotic region in this universe. This means super Penrose process for extremal Kerr black hole is impossible. However, recently, Mandar Patil and Tomohiro Harada show this particle can enter event horizon, turns back and emerges through white hole event horizon into asymptotic region in other universe. This means super Penrose process for extremal Kerr white hole is possible. During this progress, they assume this high energy particle's trajectory is geodesic in Kerr background. However, according to rainbow gravity, an unbounded energy particle will change the spacetime background and observe different effective space-time geometries. Furthermore, this particle's angular momentum is slightly less than the max value which particle can enter black hole. Therefore, when one considers rainbow gravity, this particle with unbounded energy may not enter black hole. In this paper, we will consider rainbow gravity's effect. We will show for some rainbow functions, there is a critical energy. If particle's energy is greater than it, particle will not enter black hole and turn back. It means super Penrose process for extremal Kerr white hole becomes impossible in some rainbow gravity. Because of this high energy particle turning back, the super Penrose process for extremal Kerr black hole becomes possible. Therefore, we see the possibility of super Penrose process for Kerr black hole or white hole depends on rainbow gravity., Comment: 7 pages,reference added

We show that micron-scale two-dimensional (2D) honeycomb microwells can significantly improve the stability of blue phase liquid crystals (BPLCs). Polymeric microwells made by direct laser writing improve various features of the blue phase (BP) including a dramatic extension of stable temperature range and a large increase both in reflectivity and thermal stability of the reflective peak wavelength. These results are mainly attributed to the omni-directional anchoring of the isotropically oriented BP molecules at the polymer walls of the hexagonal microwells and at the top and bottom substrates. This leads to an omni-directional stabilization of the entire BPLC system. This study not only provides a novel insight into the mechanism for the BP formation in the 2D microwell but also points to an improved route to stabilize BP using 2D microwell arrays., Comment: 16 pages, 5 figures

Business Architecture (BA) plays a significant role in helping organizations understand enterprise structures and processes, and align them with strategic objectives. However, traditional BAs are represented in fixed structure with static model elements and fail to dynamically capture business insights based on internal and external data. To solve this problem, this paper introduces the graph theory into BAs with aim of building extensible data-driven analytics and automatically generating business insights. We use IBM's Component Business Model (CBM) as an example to illustrate various ways in which graph theory can be leveraged for data-driven analytics, including what and how business insights can be obtained. Future directions for applying graph theory to business architecture analytics are discussed.
