It had been suggested, after facilitating the hatching process, improved pregnancy outcomes could be attained in embryos with thick and hard zona. This study aimed to determine the effect of zona thinning on pregnancy outcomes in poor-quality frozen-thawed blastocysts. This retrospective study included 230 women (≤ 40 years) who underwent frozen embryo transfer of poor-quality blastocysts (scored 3BB). In total, 105 patients were in the assisted hatching group in which the zona was thinned by laser before transfer and 125 patients were in the control group in which the blastocysts were non-manipulated. Patients' demographics, cycle characteristics, and pregnancy outcomes were compared between the assisted hatching group and the control group. Further, regression analysis was applied to test the correlation between assisted hatching and live birth. All parameters in the patients' demographic characteristics and the cycle's characteristics were not significantly different between two groups. As for pregnancy outcomes, the second trimester pregnancy loss was significantly higher in the assisted hatching group (P = 0.035). Other pregnancy outcomes, including implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, biochemical miscarriage rate, the first trimester pregnancy loss, ongoing pregnancy rate, and live birth rate were comparable between two groups. The logistic regression analysis demonstrated no association between live birth and assisted hatching (univariate, OR = 0.787, P 0.05; multivariate, OR = 0.652, P 0.05), and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the regression model was almost 0.7. It suggested that zona thinning may not be supposed to perform on poor-quality, frozen-thawed blastocysts. The indications of assisted hatching were still needed to further investigate.

The versatile surface chemistry of MXenes affords a simple way by which the surface of MXene nanosheets can be modified. Here, by selectively grafting polystyrene onto one side of MXene nanosheets, a new amphiphilic surfactant nanomaterial, termed Janus MXene nanosheets (JMNs) or MXene nanosheet surfactants, is designed and synthesized. The prepared JMNs can be dispersed in either water or oil, and can spontaneously assemble at the water–oil interface to reduce the interfacial tension, making a promising solid surfactant to stabilize emulsions. Macroscopic assemblies of JMNs can also be easily prepared by interfacial assembly. Using creamed emulsions as templates, a lightweight, isotropic MXene aerogel is produced in one-step freeze-drying, where the matrix comprises the anchored PS and the pore structure is commensurate with the parent emulsion.

This study aims to evaluate the association between autoimmune thyroiditis and Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSNHL).Hundred and five patients with SSNHL were enrolled. Audiometric tests, serum thyroid autoantibodies (TPOAb, TgAb) were studied. Based on the thyroid autoantibody results, patients were divided into two groups: thyroid autoantibody-positive and negative. The relationship between thyroid autoimmunity and audiological characteristics was analyzed.Twenty-six patients (24.8%) of the SSNHL had thyroid autoantibody elevated. The pure tone average (PTA) of patients with and without thyroid autoantibody is 60 ± 38.51 and 54.99 ± 33.87 dBHL, respectively. The PTA was significantly improved in both groups after treatment (We speculate that a potential association between thyroid autoimmunity and SSNHL. Thyroid autoimmunity may be a pathogenesis factor of SSNHL and associated with more severe hearing loss of high-frequency hearing.

Herein, a versatile strategy for the construction of biofunctional Janus particles (JPs) through the combination of Pickering emulsion and copper-free click chemistry is developed for the study of particle-mediated cell–cell interactions. A variety of biomolecules including bovine serum albumin (BSA), ferritin, transferrin (Tf), and anti-signal regulatory protein alpha antibodies (aSIRPα), etc., can be incorporated into the Janus platform in a spatially defined manner. JPs consisting of Tf and aSIRPα (Tf–SPA1–aSIRPα JPs) demonstrate a significantly improved binding affinity to either macrophages or tumor cells compared to their uniformly modified counterparts. More importantly, Tf–SPA1–aSIRPα JPs mediate more efficient phagocytosis of tumor cells by macrophages as revealed by real-time high-content confocal microscopy. This study demonstrates the potential advantages of JPs in mediating cell–cell interactions and may contribute to the emerging cancer immunotherapy., A versatile Janus particle platform modified with biological ligands can facilitate tumor cell phagocytosis by macrophages for promising cancer immunotherapy.

Backgroundrs13405728 was identified as one of the most prevalent susceptibility loci for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in Han Chinese and Caucasian women. However, the target genes and potential mechanisms of the rs13405728 locus remain to be determined.MethodsThree-dimensional (3D) genome interactions from the ovary tissue were characterized via high-through chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) and Capture Hi-C technologies to identify putative targets at the rs13405728 locus. Combined analyses of eQTL, RNA-Seq, DNase-Seq, ChIP-Seq, and sing-cell sequencing were performed to explore the molecular roles of these target genes in PCOS. PCOS-like mice were applied to verify the expression patterns.ResultsGenerally, STON1 and FSHR were identified as potential targets of the rs13405728 locus in 3D genomic interactions with epigenomic regulatory peaks, with STON1 (P=0.0423) and FSHR (P=0.0013) being highly expressed in PCOS patients. STON1 co-expressed genes were associated with metabolic processes (P=0.0008) in adipocytes (P=0.0001), which was validated in the fat tissue (PP=0.0035) from fat-diet mice. The immune system process (GO:0002376) was enriched in FSHR co-expressed genes (P=0.0002) and PCOS patients (P=0.0002), with CD4 high expression in PCOS patients (P=0.0316) and PCOS-like models (P=0.0079). Meanwhile, FSHR expression was positively correlated with CD4 expression in PCOS patients (P=0.0252) and PCOS-like models (P=0.0178). Furthermore, androgen receptor (AR) was identified as the common transcription factor for STON1 and FSHR and positively correlated with the expression of STON1 (P=0.039) and FSHR (P=4e-06) in ovary tissues and PCOS-like mice.ConclusionOverall, we identified STON1 and FSHR as potential targets for the rs13405728 locus and their roles in the processes of adipocyte metabolism and CD4 immune expression in PCOS, which provides 3D genomic insight into the pathogenesis of PCOS.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most malignant tumors with a low survival rate. The therapeutic effect of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for PDAC is disappointing due to the presence of dense tumor stroma and immunosuppressive cells in the tumor microenvironment (TME). Herein, a tumor-penetrating nanoparticle is reported to modulate the deep microenvironment of PDAC for improved chemoimmunotherapy. The tumor pH-sensitive polymer is synthesized by conjugating N,N-dipentylethyl moieties and monomethoxylpoly(ethylene glycol) onto PAMAM dendrimer, into whose cavity a hydrophobic gemcitabine (Gem) prodrug is accommodated. They self-assemble into nanoparticles (denoted as SPN@Pro-Gem) with the size around 120 nm at neutral pH, but switch into small particles (≈8 nm) at tumor site to facilitate deep delivery of Gem into the tumor parenchyma. In addition to killing cancer cells that resided deeply in the tumor tissue, SPN@Pro-Gem could modulate the TME by reducing the abundance of tumor-associated macrophages and myeloid-derived suppressor cells as well as upregulating the expression level of PD-L1 of tumor cells. This collectively facilitates the infiltration of cytotoxic T cells into the tumors and renders checkpoint inhibitors more effective in previously unresponsive PDAC models. This study reveals a promising strategy for improving the chemoimmunotherapy of pancreatic cancer.

Background To evaluate optimal thawing time, the early thawing or the routine thawing time, for transferring vitrified-warmed, and cultured overnight cleavage stage of the slow-growing embryos on Day 3 in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle. Methods This was a retrospective cohort study from January 2017 to July 2018, a total of 705 slow-growing embryos FET cycles in which the patients were aged p = 0.01), while there was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy loss in early thawing group (39/170 (22.9%)) versus in routine thawing group (16/62 (25.8%)) (OR 0.89 (CI 0.53–1.47), p = 0.65). Conclusion For slow-growing embryos, higher pregnancy outcomes were shown in early thawing strategy as compared to the routine thawing, which suggested that the improvement of endometrium-embryo synchronism may correct the time difference brought by the slow-growing embryos.

To improve the accuracy and reduce the calculation cost for the inverse problem of centrifugal pump impeller, the new inverse method based on proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) is proposed. The pump blade shape is parameterized by quartic Bezier curve, and the initial snapshots is generated by introducing the perturbation of the blade shape control parameters. The internal flow field and its hydraulic performance is predicted by CFD method. The snapshots vector includes the blade shape parameter and the distribution of blade load. The POD basis for the snapshots set are deduced by proper orthogonal decomposition. The sample vector set is expressed in terms of the linear combination of the orthogonal basis. The objective blade shape corresponding to the objective distribution of blade load is obtained by least square fit. The Iterative correction algorithm for the centrifugal pump blade inverse method based on POD is proposed. The objective blade load distributions are corrected according to the difference of the CFD result and the POD result. The two dimensional and three dimensional blade calculation cases show that the proposed centrifugal pump blade inverse method based on POD have good convergence and high accuracy, and the calculation cost is greatly reduced. After two iterations, the deviation of the blade load and the pump hydraulic performance are limited within 4.0% and 6.0% individually for most of the flow rate range. This paper provides a promising inverse method for centrifugal pump impeller, which will benefit the hydraulic optimization of centrifugal pump.

Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare brain tumor. Its therapeutic efficacy is much lower than that of traditional lymphoma, largely due to the presence of the blood–brain barrier (BBB), which hinders the effective drug delivery and deposition on the disease site. Angiopep-2 (ANG) can target low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP) on the surface of brain capillary endothelial cells (BCECs) and exhibits high BBB transport capability. In this study, we designed an ANG conjugated poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(e-caprolactone) (PEG-b-PCL) (APP) nanoparticle to deliver doxorubicin (DOX) for the treatment of PCNSL. Our data indicated that the targeted APP nanoparticles showed significantly increased cellular uptake by BCECs compared with the control nanoparticles. In the intracranial SU-DHL-2-LUC lymphoma xenograft mice model, APP enhanced drug deposition in tumor tissues, and DOX-loaded APP (APP@DOX) exhibited a better therapeutic effect than free DOX and nontargeted PP@DOX, which significantly prolonged the survival time of mice.

Allergic asthma is an inflammatory disease involving the Th1/Th2 cell imbalance in the peripheral blood. Repeated herbal acupoint sticking (RHAS) has been used for hundreds of years in China to relieve the recurrence of allergic asthma, and it is still practiced today. Thus, we explored the effect on allergic asthma relapse and the underlying immunoregulatory mechanism in this study. Here, we enrolled 50 allergic asthma participants, and 38 of them completed the treatment and follow-up (the allergic asthma group). In addition, 13 healthy participants (the control group) were enrolled. The recurrence number of allergic asthma participants and asthma control test (ACT) were used to evaluate the effect of treatment on relieving allergic asthma recurrence. Flow cytometry was performed to analyze the levels of Th1 and Th2 cells in the peripheral blood. The serum levels of IgE, IFN-γ, and IL-4 were detected by ELISA. (1) In the allergic asthma group, compared to before the first treatment, the recurrence number of allergic asthma participants decreased and the ACT score increased at end of the last treatment, 18 and 30 weeks of the trial (P<0.05). At 18 and 30 weeks of the trial, the recurrence number of allergic asthma participants was less and the ACT score was higher than the ones from the same period last year in the allergic asthma group (P<0.05). Compared to before the first treatment, the percentage of Th1 cell did not change significantly, the percentage of Th2 cell decreased, and the Th1/Th2 cell ratio increased in the allergic asthma group by the end of the last treatment (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the release of IgE and IL-4 reduced (P<0.05), and the release of IFN-γ did not significantly change in the allergic asthma group. (2) Compared with the control group, the serum levels of IgE and IL-4 and the percentage of Th2 cell were higher, and the Th1/Th2 cell ratio was lower in the allergic asthma group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between Th1 cell and IFN-γ before the first treatment. (3) Compared with the control group, the IgE levels and the percentage of Th2 cell were higher in the allergic asthma group (P<0.01). Simultaneously, there was no significant difference between Th1 cell, the Th1/Th2 cell ratio, and the serum levels of IFN-γ and IL-4 by the end of the last treatment. The data suggested that RHAS reduced the amount of Th2 cell and elevated the Th1/Th2 cell ratio, thereby alleviating the inflammatory responses in the allergic asthma participants.

Activation of the phagocytosis of macrophages to tumor cells is an attractive strategy for cancer immunotherapy, but the effectiveness is limited by the fact that many tumor cells express an increased level of anti-phagocytic signals (e.g., CD47 molecules) on their surface. To promote phagocytosis of macrophages, a pro-phagocytic nanoparticle (SNPACALR&aCD47 ) that concurrently carries CD47 antibody (aCD47) and a pro-phagocytic molecule calreticulin (CALR) is constructed to simultaneously modulate the phagocytic signals of macrophages. SNPACALR&aCD47 can achieve targeted delivery to tumor cells by specifically binding to the cell-surface CD47 and block the CD47-SIRPα pathway to inhibit the "don't eat me" signal. Tumor cell-targeted delivery increases the exposure of recombinant CALR on the cell surface and stimulates an "eat me" signal. Simultaneous modulation of the two signals enhances the phagocytosis of 4T1 tumor cells by macrophages, which leads to significantly improved anti-tumor efficacy in vivo. The findings demonstrate that the concurrent blockade of anti-phagocytic signals and activation of pro-phagocytic signals can be effective in macrophage-mediated cancer immunotherapy.

Two-dimensional transition-metal carbides/carbonitrides (MXenes) with both superb electrical conductivity and hydrophilicity are promising for fabricating multifunctional nanomaterials and nanocomposites. However, the construction of three-dimensional (3D) and lightweight MXene macroscopic assemblies with excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical performances has not been realized due to the weak gelation capability of MXene sheets. Titanium nitride (TiN) nano-particles were subjected to graft modification by silane coupling agent (KH-570) via a direct blending method. The hydroxyl groups on the surface of TiN nano-particles can interact with silanol groups [-Si-OCH3] of KH-570 forming an organic coating layer. The covalent bonds (Ti-O-Si) formation was testified by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Through transmission electron micrograph (TEM) observations, it was found that KH-570 could improve the dispersibility of nano-TiN particles in ethyl acetate. Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) and contact angle measurements indicated that KH-570 molecules were adsorbed or anchored on the surface of nano-TiN particle and the net efficiency of it was 22.76 %, which facilitated to hinder the aggregation of nano-TiN particles.

Lightweight and high-performance microwave absorption materials with wide effective bandwidth are highly required due to the increasingly severe electromagnetic radiation. It is now still imperative to elaborately tune the constituents and microstructures of absorbers for improving microwave absorption capability over wide frequency ranges. Herein, sulfonated polystyrene@Fe(OH)3@polydopamine (SPS@Fe(OH)3@PDA) microspheres are firstly synthesized with ferric sulphate and dopamine as precursors of Fe(OH)3 and amorphous carbon, and then thermally annealed at 600 °C to generate lightweight Fe@C hollow microspheres. The thermal annealing effectively decomposes SPS templates to gases, and carbonizes the PDA shell to amorphous carbon, which also reduces the ferric irons to magnetic Fe nanoparticles via the carbothermal reduction reaction. Interestingly, the microwave absorption performances of the Fe@C hollow microspheres are obviously improved by increasing the cavity sizes. The Fe@C hollow microspheres with the largest cavity of 780 nm exhibit the broadest effective absorption bandwidth of 7.5 GHz and the superior maximum reflection loss of −37.7 dB. These outstanding performances are attributed not only to the favourable synergistic effect of dielectric and magnetic losses, but also to the optimized hollow structure enhancing the attenuation capability and improving impedance matching. This work provides an efficient approach for designing and fabricating high-performance and broad-band microwave absorbers with tunable peak frequency.

Background: Salpingectomy is routinely performed in ectopic pregnancy (EP). However, the effect of the surgery on the ovarian reserve and ovarian response in EP patients is still uncertain and has not been systematically evaluated. Therefore, we conducted this meta-analysis to provide a comparison of the ovarian reserve and ovarian response between the pre-salpingectomy and post-salpingectomy in EP patients. Methods: Pubmed, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched for all relevant articles published up to December 2018. We retrieved the basic information and data of the included studies. The data was analyzed by Review Manager 5.3 software (Cochrane Collaboration, Oxford, UK). Results: A total of 243 articles were extracted from the databases, and 7 studies were included in the meta-analysis. The ovarian reserve including anti-Mullerian hormone (inverse variance [IV] −0.7 [95% confidence interval [CI] −0.63, 0.49]), antral follicle count (IV 1.7 [95% CI −2.02, 5.42]) and basal follicle stimulating hormone (IV 0.02 [95% CI −0.63, 0.68]) was comparable between the pre-salpingectomy group and the post-salpingectomy group. The amount of gonadotropin was significantly higher in the post-salpingectomy group when compared with that in the pre-salpingectomy group (IV −212.65 [95% CI −383.59, −41.71]). There was no significant difference in the left parameters of the ovarian response including the duration of gonadotropin stimulation (IV −0.32 [95% CI −0.76, 0.12]), the estrogen level on the human chorionic gonadotropin triggering day (IV −4.12 [95% CI −236.27, −228.04]) and the number of retrieved oocytes (IV 0.35 [95% CI −0.76, 1.46]) between 2 groups. Conclusions: The current results suggest that salpingectomy has no negative effect on the ovarian reserve and ovarian response.

The rapid popularity of portable and wearable electronics requires high-performance flexible electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials to cope with increasingly severe electromagnetic wave pollution problems. To combine outstanding EMI shielding performance and excellent mechanical flexibility, we demonstrate an efficient vacuum-assisted filtration approach for the fabrication of flexible and highly conductive Ti3C2Tx MXene/natural rubber (NR) nanocomposite films by constructing interconnected MXene networks in NR matrix. The electrostatic repulsion forces originated from the negative charges of MXene and NR latex enable the MXene sheets to selectively distribute at the interfaces of the NR particles, forming an interconnected network for efficient electron transport and load transfer at low MXene contents. The resultant nanocomposite with 6.71 vol% of MXene shows a superb electrical conductivity of 1400 S m−1 and an outstanding EMI shielding performance of 53.6 dB. Furthermore, the robust and three-dimensional MXene network provides significant reinforcement to the NR matrix, exhibiting obviously enhanced tensile strength and modulus by 700% and 15000% as compared to those of neat NR, respectively. The stable EMI shielding capability and stretchability under cyclic deformations make the high-performance MXene/NR nanocomposite films promise in next-generation flexible and foldable electronics.

Rapid-dissolving multiple-component composite nanoparticles of acetaminophen (APAP) fabricated using electrospraying were reported. A series of analyses were undertaken to characterize the resultant nanoparticles in terms of their morphology, physical form of the components and functional performance. A traditional casting film consisting of the same components and compositions was prepared as control. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy revealed that the nanoparticles had an average diameter of 880 ± 170 nm. X-ray diffraction verified that both the active pharmaceutical ingredients APAP and the sweetener sucralose existed in an amorphous state in the polymer matrix polyvinylpyrrolidone K25 as a result of the second-order interactions between the components, as verified by Attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared spectra. In vitro dissolution studies showed that the nanoparticles could rapidly release the incorporated APAP within one minute, significantly faster than the casting film and the raw APAP powders. Electrospraying is a highly useful tool for preparation of nanoparticles to enhance the dissolution of poorly water soluble active ingredients and to develop rapid-dissolving drug delivery systems. .

Blends of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polyoxymethlene (POM) were prepared by melt mixing, with a polyether polyol (Model KGF400D) used as the compatibilizer. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to characterize the cryogenically fractured surfaces of the blends clearly, which showed that the compatibility of NBR/POM blends was significantly enhanced with the addition of KGF400D. Both differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and rubber process analysis (RPA) results clearly indicated the mechanism of compatibility improvement. Dual functions of KGF400D within the NBR/POM blends were found: one was the lubrication effect and the other was the hydrogen bonding between the hydroxyl of KGF400D and ether oxygen group of POM or lone pair electron in the cyano group of NBR.

Environmental contextUranium-containing wastewaters have high potential to harm the environment and human health. We found that the combination of calix[4]arene with magnetic Fe3O4 particles produced good adsorption of uranium from wastewater. In addition, this material can be recycled and reused, so it has good prospects in practical applications for uranium remediation. AbstractA magnetic functionalised calix[4]arene composite consisting of Fe3O4 and calix[4]arene phosphonate derivative (CPD) was prepared through a facile self-assembly method. The composite was characterised by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The as-synthesised Fe3O4/CPD composite was used to remove UVI from aqueous solutions under different conditions. Meanwhile, the adsorption isotherm, kinetics and thermodynamics were fitted and analysed. The results show that the Fe3O4/CPD composite may be a promising adsorption material for the separation and enrichment of UVI from aqueous solutions in the cleanup of environmental pollution.

Objective To study the effect of combined acupuncture and rehabilitation training on early-stage Barthel index of ischemic stroke cases.

During field expeditions to the Tibetan Plateau, a collection of an undescribed species with several basidiomes was found. Morphological observation and DNA sequence analyses of the collection revealed a close relationship with Cleistocybe vernalis, the type species of the genus Cleistocybe. Therefore, a new species is proposed for the fungus with full morphological description accompanied by phylogenetic analyses. The discovery of the species extends the reported distribution of the genus from the north of America and Europe to Asia.

To verify the improvement function of warming-reinforcing acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on the early motor function of hemiparalysis patients caused by ischemic brain stroke.Eighty cases were randomly divided into a warming-reinforcing acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training group (group A) and a rehabilitation training group (group B), 40 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with internal routine treatment. The Motor Relearning Program rehabilitation was used in group B, while warming-reinforcing acupuncture combined with Motor Relearning Program rehabilitation were used in group A. Jianyu (LI 15), Quchi (LI 11), Hegu (LI 4), Yanglingquan (GB 34), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) were selected, and warming-reinforcing method was used in these points, they were treated for 3 weeks. The neurological functional deficits scores of hemiparalysis patients, Fugl-Meyer Score, Motor Function Assessment Score (MAS), Barthel Index and Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE) were used to evaluate the condition of hemiparalysis patients before and after treatment.The effective rate of group A (87.5%, 35/40) superior to that of group B (67.5%, 27/40) (P0.05). The neurological functional deficit scores, Fugl-Meyer score, MAS and Barthel Index of both groups were improved after treatment (P0.01, P0.05), and the improved degree of group A was better than that of group B (P0.01, P0.05).There is obvious improvement function of warming-reinforcing acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on the early motor function of hemiparalysis patients caused by ischemic brain stroke, and the function is better than that of simple rehabilitation training.

To observe the therapeutic effect of heat-reinforcing needling combined with modem rehabilitation training on the motor function of ischemic stroke patients.Fifty case of ischemic stroke patients were randomly divided into rehabilitation (Rehab, n=40) and acupuncture (Acup) + Rehab (n=40) groups. Heat-reinforcing needling was applied to Jianyu (LI 15), Quchi (LI 11), Hegu (LI 14), Zusanli (ST 36), Yanglingquan (GB 34), Yinlingquan (SP 9) and Sanyinjiao (SP 6), once daily for 3 weeks. Rehabilitation training including healthy limb and joint movement was conducted, once daily for 3 weeks. The patient's neurological impairment degree and the motor function (Fugl-Meyer index) were evaluated before and after the treatment.After the treatment, of the each 40 cases in Rehab and Acup + Rehab groups, 10 (25.0%) and 17 (42.5%) experienced marked improvement in their symptoms, 17 (42.5%) and 18 (45.0%) had improvement, 13 (32.5%) and 5 (12.5%) failed, with the effective rates being 67.5% and 87.5% respectively. The therapeutic effect of Acup + Rehab group was markedly superior to that of Rehab group (P0.05). Comparison between two groups showed no significant differences in the scores of clinical neurological impairment degree and the scores of Fugl-Meyer index before the treatment (P0.05). After the treatment, the scores of neurological impairment degree of two groups both decreased significantly (P0.05), and the scores of the Fugl-Meyer index of the upper and lower limbs increased significantly in two groups (P0.05). The score of neurological impairment degree of Acup + Rehab group was significantly lower than that of Rehab group (P0.05), while the scores of the Fugl-Meyer index of two limbs of Acup + Rehab group were obviously higher than those of Rehab group (P0.01).The therapy of heat-reinforcing needling combined with rehabilitation training is significantly superior to that of simple rehabilitation training in improving neurological impairment and motor function of ischemic stroke patients.
