Purpose To ascertain the risk factors and prevalence of non-infectious diarrhea among participants with multiple myeloma who treated with chimeric antigen receptor T-cell immunotherapy. Methods This study enrolled 88 patients with multiple myeloma who received chimeric antigen receptor T-cell immunotherapy at one tertiary general hospital in China. Participants were categorized into diarrhea subgroup and non-diarrhea subgroup according to the occurrence of diarrhea. Demographic data and self-reported measurements and planning were obtained from questionnaires and clinical data from hospital databases. In this study, biochar pyrolyzed from different wetland waste plants (Reed, Typha, Canna) was used to immobilize Cd in contaminated soil. The results showed that biochar could all enhance the residual Cd2+ in soil. Moreover, Ca500 (pyrolyzed at 500 ℃ from Canna) showed the best immobilization capacity due to its larger surface, higher number of pores and its regular, smooth structure. Optimum conditions for Ca-500 immobilization to Cd2+ in soil were: amount 6% (wt%) and contacting time 16 weeks, the exchangeable and the state of bound to carbonates of heavy metals reduced 92.08% and 67.64%, respectively. After combining biochar with arbuscular mycorrhizal, the results showed that the combined system could more effectively reduce the transportable Cd content in soil, increase the proportion of residual Cd, effectively reduce the migration of Cd, improve the biomass and root length of vegetables, reduce Cd absorption by vegetables and the ability of vegetables to transfer Cd from root to the upper part, and reduce the edible safety risk. Simultaneously, biochar with arbuscular mycorrhizal can improve the antioxidant capacity of vegetables and their resistance to heavy metals, optimize the composition of soil microbial community, and improve soil microbial abundance and community β-diversity. It can also significantly change the functional gene expression of soil microorganisms, soil fertility, and the self-healing ability to heavy metals.

Dingchuan decoction (DCD) is a traditional Chinese prescription for asthma that remains popular today. To systematically evaluate the effect of DCD on lung function, clinical effectiveness rate, and safety in children with asthma, significant databases were searched for randomized controlled trials from their inception to September 9, 2019. Randomized controlled trials assessing the effect of DCD on lung function and clinical effectiveness rate in children with asthma were included in this meta-analysis. The methodological quality of the included trials was assessed using the Cochrane risk of bias tool. RevMan 5.3 was used for data analysis. Fourteen studies with 1,384 children were reviewed. FEV1 improvement rate (mean difference [MD] 12.50, 95% confidence interval [CI] 8.72–16.29), PEF improvement rate (MD 14.28, 95% CI 11.08–17.49), and clinical effectiveness rate (relative risk 1.19, 95% CI 1.14–1.25) significantly increased in the DCD group when compared to simple conventional medication. Four trials suggest that DCD is safe for children. In conclusion, the use of DCD combined with conventional medication improves lung function and clinical effectiveness rate better than simple conventional medication. However, the selected trials lack blinding and large-scale studies. Therefore, to better manage DCD in clinical practice, more randomized controlled trials and large-scale studies are required for further evaluation.

The golden snub-nosed monkey is one of the most endangered animal species endemic to China. In order to explore the characteristics and health risks of golden snub-nosed monkeys exposed to heavy metals, we collected the plant food sources, soil, and water samples from the golden snub-nosed monkey habitat in the Shennongjia Mountains; examined the contents of seven heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Ni, and As); and adopted the comprehensive pollution index, potential ecological risk index, and Nemerow index to evaluate pollutants in the water, soil, and food plants. At the same time, the Target Hazard Quotient method was used to assess heavy metals in the food plants. As a reproductive endocrine disease, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has influenced billions of women during childbearing age worldwide. Owing to its complex etiology and ambiguous pathogenesis, there is still not a specific method to cure it. Clinical treatments, such as hormone therapy and surgical treatment, have side effects. Therefore, it is essential and urgent to seek alternative treatment to solve these problems. The satisfactory efficacy of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), such as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), immunotherapy, medicinal foods, vitamin therapy, diet therapy, psychotherapy, spa, and oxygen therapy, in treating PCOS, has aroused an increasing number of medical workers’ concern and gradually become the mainstream. This paper reviews the application of CAM in the treatment of PCOS, especially from the perspective of TCM. Meanwhile, the limitations of the literature about CAM in the treatment of PCOS are mentioned and analyzed as well.

To systemically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules for hyperplastic disease of breast(HDBA), so as to provide the evidence for its clinical application. The inclusion criteria are the RCT of single administration of Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules for treatment of HDBA. We retrieved following databases(CNKI, WanFang, VIP, SinoMed, Cochrane Library and PubMed) from their inception to October 1, 2019. Two researchers independently screened out literatures and extracted data, and assessed the methodological quality of eligible RCT according to the criteria in Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. RevMan 5.3 was used for data analysis, binary data was summarized by risk ratio(RR) with confidence intervals(CI) of 95%, and continuous data were summarized by mean difference(MD) with CI of 95%. To estimate the sample size of systematic review, trial sequential analysis(TSA) was performed base on software TSA v0.9 version. Totally 14 RCTs were included, involving 3 057 patients. The results of Meta-analysis showed a significantly higher cure rate(RR=1.13, 95%CI[1.03, 1.25], P=0.01) and higher total effective rate(RR=1.09, 95%CI[1.05, 1.13], Plt;0.000 1) in Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules group than those in the Juyuansuan Tamoxifen group. The incidence of adverse events was significantly higher in Juyuansuan Tamoxifen group than that in Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules group(RR=0.28 95%CI[0.16, 0.49], Plt;0.001), and the adverse events included nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, unclear vision, dizziness and headache. The TSA for the cure rate demonstrated that the current available data reached the expected value. However, due to the low effect intensity of evidence, the pooled results might be affected by high risk bias of trials. The quality of evidence of included trials was generally low or very low. Inverted funnel diagram showed possible publication bias. This review suggested that Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules were potentially effective and safe in treatment of HDBA, especially, the incidences of drug-related adverse events from Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules were significantly lower than those from tamoxifen. However, because of lack of high-quality evidence for drawing a conclusion, more rigorously designed and high-quality trials are needed to confirm the efficacy and safety of Hongjin Xiaojie Capsules.

Tavorite-structured polyanion compounds, such as LiVPO4F, LiFePO4F and LiVPO4O, are promising cathode candidates of Li-ion batteries due to their structural stability as a result of strong covalent bonds. A few publications related to LiVPO4F LiFePO4F and LiVPO4F LiVPO4O solid solutions have been reported to date. In this work, LiFePO4F LiVPO4O solid solution, i.e. LiFe1-xVxPO4F1-δOδ (0 ≤ x ≤ 1; 0 ≤ δ ≤ 0.36) is first prepared by a two-step solid-state route using the pre-synthesized FePO4 and VPO4O powders. Sloping discharge profiles shown in solid-solution cells indicate a single-phase behavior which is different from the two-phase reaction of end members. The structure determination, refinement and electrochemical properties are studied. The meachanisms are concluded involved in redox energies of cations. Redox energies are tuned within a wide range 1.5–4.5 V in polyanion-type cathodes, through the inductive effect introduced by cation (V for Fe) and anion (O for F) substitution.

The triplite LiFeSO4F displays both the highest potential ever reported for an Fe-based compound, as well as a comparable specific energy with that of popular LiFePO4. The synthesis is still a challenge because the present approaches are connected with long time, special equipments or organic reagents, etc. In this work, the triplite LiFeSO4F powder was synthesized through an ambient two-step solid-state route. The reaction process and phase purity were analyzed, coupled with structure refinement and electrochemical test.

There are global purchasing difficulties to obtain raw materials such as SiS2 and Li2S, while each has an extreme high price, for preparing lithium-silicon-phosphorus-sulfur (LSiPS)-type solid electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries. In this work, pure SiS2 was prepared through an elemental-synthesis gasifying-separation (ESGS) process, and pure Li2S through a carbothermal-reduction ethanol-dissolution (CRED) process. These processes proposed firstly are safe, cheap, convenient and feasible with an acceptable requirement for facilities and operations. The Li9.54Si1.74P1.44S11.7Cl0.3 was prepared and cells were assembled to evaluate electrochemical properties.

In the present study, there are a number of recognition methods with high recognition accuracy, which are based on deep learning. However, these methods usually have a good effect in a restricted environment, but in the natural environment, the accuracy of face recognition has decreased significantly, especially in the case of occlusion, face recognition will appear inaccurate or unrecognized situation. Based on this, this paper presents a face recognition method based on the deep learning in the natural environment, hoping to achieve robust performance in the natural environment, especially in the case of occlusion. The main contribution of this paper is improving the method of multi-patches by using 4 areas' patches in the face. And in order to have a higher performance, we use a Joint Bayesian (JB) measure in face-verification. Finally, we trained the model by the set of CASIA-WebFace and test it in the Labeled Faces in the Wild (LFW).

Solid-solution Li-ion cathode materials transform through a single-phase reaction thus leading to a long-term structural stability and improved cyclability. In this work, a two- to single-phase Li+-extraction/insertion mechanism is studied through tuning the stoichiometry of transition-metal Fe/V cations to trigger a transition in the chemical reactivity path. Tavorite triclinic-structured LiFe1&ndash, xVxPO4F (x = 0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1) solid-solution powders were prepared by a facile one-step solid-state method from hydrothermal-synthesized and commercial raw materials. The broad shape of cyclic voltammetry (CV) peaks, sloping charge/discharge profiles and sloping open-circuit voltage (OCV) profiles were observed in LiFe1&ndash, xVxPO4F solid-solution cathodes while 0 &lt, x &lt, 1. These confirm strongly a single-phase behavior which is different from the two-phase behavior in the end-members (x = 0 or 1). The electronegativity of M (M = Fe1&ndash, xVx) for the redox potential of Fe2+/3+ couple or the M&ndash, O4F2 bond length for the V3+/4+ couple plays respectively a dominant role in LiFe1&ndash, xVxPO4F solid-solution cathodes.

This paper analysed the first-step of dry drawing of steel cords by numerical simulation. In different working conditions,a couple of simulations were made to analyses the influences on stress and temperature,different work cone angle,drawing speed,high of die bearing . Tracking target in a long-term is still a big challenge in computer vision. In recent research, many researchers pay much attention on updating current appearance of tracking target to build one online appearance model. However, one appearance model is always not enough to describe historical appearance information especially for long-term tracking task. In this paper, we propose an online multiple appearances model based on Dirichlet Process Mixture Model (DPMM), which can make different appearance representations of the tracking target grouped dynamically and in an unsupervised way. Since DPMM's appealing properties are characterized by Gibbs sampling and Gibbs sampling costs too much, we proposed an online Bayesian learning algorithm instead of Gibbs sampling to reliably and efficiently learn a DPMM from scratch through sequential approximation in a streaming fashion to adapt new tracking targets. Experiments on multiple challenging benchmark public dataset demonstrate the proposed tracking algorithm performs favorably against the state-of-the-art.

In this paper, we propose a novel framework for multi-objects tracking on solving two kind of challenges. One is how to discriminate different targets with similar appearance, the other is distinct the single target with serious variation over time. The proposed framework extracts discriminative appearance information of different objects from historical recordings of all tracked targets by a label consistent K-SVD (LC-KSVD) dictionary learning method. We validated our proposed framework on three publicly available video sequences with some state-of-the-art approaches. The experiment results showed that our proposed method achieves competitive results with 7.7% improvement in MOTP.

How to build a good appearance descriptor for tracking target is a basic challenge for long-term robust tracking. In recent research, many tracking methods pay much attention to build one online appearance model and updating by employing special visual features and learning methods. However, one appearance model is not enough to describe the appearance of the target with historical information for long-term tracking task. In this paper, we proposed an online adaptive multiple appearances model to improve the performance. A polymerase chain reaction–enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (PCR-ELISA) method was set up to detect Mycoplasma in live vaccines and to establish the optimal experimental conditions. According to the 16S rRNA gene sequences published in GenBank, which include Mycoplasma gallisepticum of chicken and M. hyopneumoniae, M. hyosynoviae and M. flocculare of swine (submitted nos: Mg AY744942, Mhp AE017244, Mhs AY973563 and Mf X63377), PCR primers, labelled with digoxin (Dig), and probe, labelled with biotin, were designed using the software DNAstar and Primer Premier 5.0. The system and conditions of PCR–ELISA were optimized using purified genomic DNA extracted from Mycoplasma as a template. Samples of 30 batches of Newcastle disease live vaccines (I strain), 30 batches of Newcastle disease live vaccines (La Sota strain) and 30 batches of swine fever live vaccine were tested by PCR-ELISA. Results showed that the detection rate of Mycoplasma contamination from different vaccines was higher (36.5%) with this technique than with PCR (24.4%). The PCR–ELISA appeared to be a simple, fast and reliable method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of Mycoplasma. The practical use of PCR–ELISA as a kit to detect Mycoplasma contamination in live vaccine seems very promising.
