The composition of magnesium alloys is greatly associated with initial deposition behavior of electroless Ni–P coatings. Thus, the initial deposition behavior of electroless Ni–P coatings on ZK60 and ME20 alloys was investigated. The results indicated that differences in the alloy compositions significantly influenced the initial deposition process and the adhesive strength, corrosion resistance, and crystal structure. The initial deposition of coatings on ZK60 and ME20 alloys preferentially occurred on the precipitates. The precipitates in ZK60 alloy had higher chemical activity after HF activation and controlled the initial deposition rate of the coating. The initial deposition rate of the coating on ME20 alloy mainly depended on the density of the MgF2 film formed by HF activation rather than on the precipitates. Owing to differences in the initial deposition process, the coating on ZK60 alloy had higher adhesive strength and better corrosion resistance than that on ME20 alloy. The coatings on ZK60 and ME20 alloys mainly had crystalline structures, and the coating on ME20 alloy had also a slight microcrystalline structure.

In order to obtain the service performance of the black anodic oxidation film of 2A12 aluminum alloy, the influence of humidity and temperature in storage environment and heat on the performance of black oxidation film were studied. And the morphologies were analyzed by using optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that after the black anodic oxidation film is produced, "aging" will occur in the natural environment, which can lead to the structure change of the sealing pore and affect the service performance of the film. The film exfoliates off slightly under the humidity of 90%, and the film exfoliates off more seriously when the humidity over 95%. The temperature has a greater influence on the film cracking, especially when the temperature is above 120°C, it is easy to exfoliate off. The exfoliation model was established and the affection mechanism was discussed.

Sequencing-based studies have recognized hundreds of genetic variants that increase the risk of schizophrenia (SCZ), but only a few percents of heritability can be attributed to these loci. It is challenging to discover the full spectrum of schizophrenia genes and reveal the dysregulated functions underlying the disease. Here, we proposed a holistic model for predicting disease genes (HMPDG), a novel machine learning prediction strategy integrated by Protein-Protein Interaction Network (PPIN), pathogenicity score, and RNA expression data. Applying HMPDG, 1946 potential risk genes (PRGs) as a complement of the genetic basis of SCZ were predicted. Among these, the first decile genes were highlighted as high confidence genes (HCGs). PRGs were validated by multiple independent studies of schizophrenia, including genome-wide association studies (GWASs), gene expression studies, and epigenetic studies. Remarkably, the strategy revealed causal genes of schizophrenia in GWAS loci and regions of copy number variant (CNV), providing a new insight to identify key genes in disease-related loci with multi genes. Leveraging our predictions, we depict the spatiotemporal expression pattern and functional groups of schizophrenia risk genes, which can help us figure out the pathophysiology of schizophrenia and facilitate the discovery of biomarkers. Taken together, our strategy will advance the understanding of schizophrenia genetic basis and the development of diagnosis and therapeutics.

When dealing with a low-grade complex Zinc ore from Inner Mongolia, problems of low leaching rate, high energy consumption, low economic benefits and pollution were encountered. To treat this low-grade zinc ore economically and effectively, bioleaching was used. This approach produces reliable data for an environmentally friendly and efficient processing of the zinc ore. The results indicate that Zinc occurs in the ore mainly as sphalerite, the latter also containing Indium. The experimental results demonstrated an excellent leaching performance: A leaching rate of nearly 100% is achieved at a temperature of 45°C, a pulp concentration of 10%, an initial pH of 1.8, and an aeration rate of 0.8m3/h. In the initial stage the leaching rate is higher than at the end. It starts with 85% of zinc leaching rate in three days. The Indium in the sphalerite is leached almost completely. This makes a further comprehensive use of such resources possible.

Background: Hyperthermia has proved successful in treating cutaneous human papillomavirus infectious diseases such as plantar wart and condyloma acuminata (CA). Moreover, this treatment provides improved therapeutic efficacy in these conditions as compared with conventional therapies. Objectives: To investigate the global proteome changes in CA in response to hyperthermia and achieve a better understanding of the mechanisms of hyperthermia therapy against HPV-infectious diseases. Methods: CA tissue was obtained from patients undergoing pathological examinations. Diagnosis was verified as based on results of both HE staining and HPV-DNA PCR assay. Hyperthermia was achieved with a 44 °C water bath. Differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were identified by iTRAQ labeling, SCX chromatography and LC-MS/MS assay. Validation of proteomic results was performed using real-time qPCR and western blot, while bioinformatic analysis of DEPs was accomplished by R 3.4.1, STRING and Cytoscape softwares. Results: In response to hyperthermia, a total of 102 DEPs were identified with 37 being upregulated and 65 downregulated. Among these DEPs, hyperthermia induced proteins involved with anti-viral processes such as OAS1, MX1, BANF1, CANX and AP1S1, whereas it inhibited proteins that participated in cellular metabolism, such as GALT, H6PD, EXOSC4 and EXOSC6; protein translation, such as RPS4Y1; as well as keratinocyte differentiation, such as KRT5, KRT27, KRT75, KRT76 and H2AFY2. Conclusions: Hyperthermia inhibited enzymes and molecules responsible for metabolism modulation and keratinocyte differentiation in CA tissue, whereas it promoted factors involved in anti-viral responses. Such effects may, in part, contribute to the efficacy of local hyperthermia therapy against HPV infection.

The characteristics of Mathematical model for the temperature’s control of resistance-heated furnace are non-linear, strong inertia, time-variant and pure delay. Adaptive genetic algorithm(AGA) was designed by the principle of the traditional PID control system, and dynamically Simulated an industrial furnace control system. Simulation and actual operation results show that using the optimization algorithm has properties of no overshoot, quick response, good robust and the algorithm is simple. It is proved that this control algorithm is a more effective one on improving the temperature’s control of the resistance-heated furnace.

The aim of present work is to investigate the mechanical and microstructural properties of dissimilar ADC12 and 6061 aluminium alloy joints produced by friction stir welding (FSW). The microstructure of joints has been observed by employing optical microscope. Furthermore, the welded joints have been tested under tension at room temperature in order to analyse their mechanical properties. At last, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) was employed to observe the specimens’ fracture morphology.

Reactions of 5-(p-aminophenyl)-10,15,20-triphenyl porphyrin (1) with Ru3(CO)12 or M(OCOCH3)2 (M= Ni, Mn) afforded metalloporphyrins (4–6), respectively. 6-Deoxy-6-iodo-β-cyclodextrin (2) and mono(6-O-trifluoromethanesulfonyl) permethylated β-cyclodextrin (3) reacted with complexes 4–6 to give β-cyclodextrin bonded metal porphyrins (7–9) and permethylated β-cydodextrin bonded metal porphyrins (10–12) respectively. These new complexes were identified by MS, IR, UV-visible and 1H NMR spectra, and elemental analysis.

To investigate the effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the response of surgical stress during perioperative period.From July 2005 to June 2006, 30 SD rats with the same age were distributed into 3 experimental groups and 1 control group randomly. Each experimental group included 8 rats, and the control group included 6 rats. The rats in experimental groups received intravenous infusion of cyclophosphamide, while the rats in control group received IV infusion of normal sodium. The blood of rats from experimental groups was taken 30 min before and during the stimulation of abdominal surgery which was given at the end of the first, the second and the third week after receiving IV infusion cyclophosphamide. Then the plasma concentration of noradrenaline was measured respectively.The IV infusion of cyclophosphamide before operation could greatly improve the plasma level of norepinephrine, and it reached peak at the end of the second week. When surgeries were given at that time, the stress response became much more seriously. The response induced by neoadjuvant chemotherapy disappeared 3 weeks later.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide can induce significant stress response which is characterized by the increase of plasma level of norepinephrine. It indicates that the best time of surgery for patients who have received neoadjuvant chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide is 2 weeks later.
