This paper presents a textile defect detection method that utilizes a multi‐proportion spatial attention mechanism and channel memory feature fusion network by addressing the difficulties presented by complicated shapes and large size variations. In particular, a multi‐proportion spatial attention mechanism (MPAM) is introduced, which employs multi‐proportion convolution to improve the backbone network's capacity to detect non‐uniform structural defects. Additionally, the generality and adaptability of the model are enhanced by a multi‐scale spatial pyramid pooling structure (MS‐SPP). Second, a channel attention mechanism‐based memory feature fusion network is developed, which incorporates channel attention to adaptive weight the feature channels, focusing on crucial information channels to efficiently fuse contextual features and enhance the model's memory capacity. Finally, a novel efficient Wise‐IoU (EWIoU) loss function is proposed, which utilizes a dynamic non‐monotonic focusing mechanism to increase the penalty on distance measurement, thus enhancing the model's detection performance. Experiment findings on the ZJU‐Leaper and Tianchi textile datasets reveal that compared to the YOLOv7 baseline, the method in this paper has an increase of 6.5 and 2 percentage points, respectively, and the detection accuracy is better than most existing networks. Electrosynthesis of H2O2 has great potential for directly converting O2 into disinfectant, yet it is still a big challenge to develop effective electrocatalysts for medical‐level H2O2 production. Herein, we report the design and fabrication of electrocatalysts with biomimetic active centers, consisting of single atomic iron asymmetrically coordinated with both nitrogen and sulfur, dispersed on hierarchically porous carbon (FeSA‐NS/C). The newly‐developed FeSA‐NS/C catalyst exhibited a high catalytic activity and selectivity for oxygen reduction to produce H2O2 at a high current of 100 mA cm−2 with a record high H2O2 selectivity of 90 %. An accumulated H2O2 concentration of 5.8 wt.% is obtained for the electrocatalysis process, which is sufficient for medical disinfection. Combined theoretical calculations and experimental characterizations verified the rationally‐designed catalytic active center with the atomic Fe site stabilized by three‐coordinated nitrogen atoms and one‐sulfur atom (Fe‐N3S‐C). It was further found that the replacement of one N atom with S atom in the classical Fe‐N4‐C active center could induce an asymmetric charge distribution over N atoms surrounding the Fe reactive center to accelerate proton spillover for a rapid formation of the OOH* intermediate, thus speeding up the whole reaction kinetics of oxygen reduction for H2O2 electrosynthesis. WS2 nanosheets hold great promise for a variety of applications yet faces a grand challenge in terms of large‐scale synthesis. We report a reliable, scalable, and high‐yield (>93 %) synthetic strategy to fabricate WS2 nanosheets, which exhibit highly desirable electrocatalytic properties toward both the alkaline sulfion (S2−) oxidation reaction (SOR) and the acidic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The findings prompted us to develop a hybrid alkali‐acid electrochemical cell with the WS2 nanosheets as bifunctional electrode catalysts of alkaline anodic SOR and acidic cathodic HER. The proof‐of‐concept device holds promise for self‐power or low‐electricity electrolytic H2 generation and environmentally friendly recycling of sulfion with enhanced electron utilization efficiency. Background: Sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (AKI) is a serious complication of systemic infection with high morbidity and mortality in patients. However, no effective drugs are available for AKI treatment. Dexmedetomidine (DEX) is an alpha 2 adrenal receptor agonist with antioxidant and anti-apoptotic effects. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of DEX on sepsis-associated AKI and to elucidate the role of mitochondrial dynamics during this process. Methods: A lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced AKI rat model and an NRK-52E cell model were used in the study. This study investigated the effects of DEX on sepsis-associated AKI and the molecular mechanisms using histologic assessment, biochemical analyses, ultrastructural observation, western blotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, qRT-PCR, flow cytometry, and si-mRNA transfection. Results: In rats, the results showed that administration of DEX protected kidney structure and function from LPS-induced septic AKI. In addition, we found that DEX upregulated the α2-AR/SIRT1/PGC-1α pathway, protected mitochondrial structure and function, and decreased oxidative stress and apoptosis compared to the LPS group. In NRK-52E cells, DEX regulated the mitochondrial dynamic balance by preventing intracellular Ca2+ overloading and activating CaMKII. Conclusions: DEX ameliorated septic AKI by reducing oxidative stress and apoptosis in addition to modulating mitochondrial dynamics via upregulation of the α2-AR/SIRT1/PGC-1α pathway. This is a confirmatory study about DEX pre-treatment to ameliorate septic AKI. Our research reveals a novel mechanistic molecular pathway by which DEX provides nephroprotection. Abstract: γ-In2Se3 thin films were successfully synthesized using the magnetron sputtering method on cost effective soda lime glass substrates. By adjusting growth process, two different micro- nanostructures were obtained, including the hexagonal platelets with uniformly flat surface and the single crystalline ribbons up to 5μm long. X-ray diffraction and Raman studies confirmed the formation of polycrystalline hexagonal defect wurtzite structural In2Se3 grains. The In/Se ratio of nanoribbon was found to be approximately 2/3as indicated by the composition analysis with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The In2Se3 nanostructures show absorbance in the visible region with direct band gap of 1.94eV. Moreover, the formation mechanism of the nanoribbons has been regarded as a self-catalytic VS deposition process at low temperature. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: In2Se3 is one of the most significant n-type layered semiconductor belonging to III–VI binary compound materials. In this paper, polycrystalline In2Se3 films were obtained by magnetron radio-frequency (RF) sputtering. The as-deposited films were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and optical measurements. The effects of RF power and substrate temperature on the film structure and properties were investigated. It was found that textured film was manufactured when the RF power was 80 W with the substrate temperature of 360 °C. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
