Carbon materials, owing to their low cost, high conductivity, and good thermal and chemical stability, have been deemed as a promising anode candidate for potassium‐ion batteries. However, anomalous low‐voltage discharge situations in crystalline carbon materials imply uncertainty in the potassium storage mechanism. Herein, an overlooked scenario, i.e., potassium metal underpotential deposition (PMUPD), is disclosed in crystalline carbon materials for the first time. The study unveils the induction of interlayer pores on desolvation and PMUPD by insights from thermodynamics, kinetics, and experimental analyses. By manipulating the cutoff voltage to utilize partial PMUPD, a novel synergistic mechanism of co‐intercalation and PMUPD is revealed. A remarkable initial coulombic efficiency of 92% and a 65% capacity retention at 30C (80 mAh g−1) are realized in crystalline carbon anode. This work provides a new insight into the potassium storage mechanism of carbon anode and contributes to further research and application of the UPD behavior in other alkaline metal ion batteries. Neuromorphic nanowire networks are of broad interest for applications in burgeoning memristive devices and neuromorphic computing areas due to their interesting features such as neural-like topology and nonlinear dynamics. However, the complexity of the neuromorphic nanowire network's behavior and in materia reservoir computing with imperfect device performance still hampers a straight transfer into emerging computing applications. Herein, reliable memristive devices based on unique necklace-like structure Ag@TiO2 nanowire networks are demonstrated for neuromorphic learning and reservoir computing. The memristive devices utilizing necklace-like structure Ag@TiO2 nanowire networks exhibit stable volatile threshold switching characteristics, with a ratio of up to 105, low threshold voltage (<1 V), good endurance, and high uniformity. Besides, the devices have been successfully used to emulate diverse functions of synapses by exploiting the Ag filament dynamics within the nanowire network, including short-term plasticity, and transition from short-term plasticity to long-term plasticity. The nanowire networks that offer nonlinear and short-term dynamics are further harnessed to build a reservoir computing system for the waveform classification task, manifesting its great potential for the development of next-generation reservoir hardware. Arterial stiffness, a prominent hallmark of ageing arteries, is a predictor of all‐cause mortality. Strategies for promoting healthy vascular ageing are encouraged. Here we conducted a pilot study to evaluate the potential effects of low‐dose Terazosin on arterial stiffness. We enrolled patients aged over 40 with elevated arterial stiffness, defined as a brachial‐ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) ≥1400 cm/s, who were administered Terazosin (0.5 and 1.0 mg/day) from December 2020 to June 2023. Treatment responses were assessed every 3 months. Linear regression analysis was used to characterise the improvement. We matched cases who took Terazosin for 1 year with Terazosin‐free controls using propensity score matching (PSM). Our findings demonstrate that Terazosin administration significantly affected arterial stiffness. (1) Arterial stiffness significantly improved (at least a 5% reduction in baPWV) in 50.0% of patients at 3 months, 48.6% at 6 months, 59.3% at 9 months, and 54.4% at 12 months, respectively. (2) Those with higher baseline baPWV and hypertension exhibited a significantly reduced risk of non‐response. (3) Terazosin was associated with a reduction of baPWV at 1‐year follow‐up (linear regression: β = −165.16, p < 0.001). This pilot study offers valuable insights into the potential significance of Terazosin in improving arterial stiffness and paves the way for future randomised clinical trials in combating vascular ageing. The chemical composition and antitumor activity of essential oil were compared for four parts of the Arisaema Amuremse Maxim. Chemical constituent of essential oil in every parts of Arisaema Amuremse Maxim was identified by GC-MS analysis systematically. Arisaema Amuremse Maxim had 114 kinds of essential oils. Tubers, petioles, leaves, and fruits were identified 53, 48, 5 and 21 species essential oil, respectively. The antiproliferative activity against Hep2, HCT-116, A549, SW480, HepG2 cell lines had been investigated by MTT assay. The essential oil of tubers, petioles, leaves and fruits all had strong antiproliferative activity. The IC 50 was 19.60μg·mL-1, 17.60μg·mL-1, 23.80μg·mL-1, and 30.23μg·mL-1, respectively. Among them, the essential oil of tubers and petioles had stronger antitumor activity. The essential oil of tubers, petioles, leaves and fruits had strong antiproliferative activity. This study was of great significance to increase the medicinal parts of Arisaema Amuremse Maxim.
