We report first time preparation and crystal structure of NH4+ exchanged form of highly disordered gallosilicate zeolite with natrolite framework (NAT) by ion exchange method from K-gallosilicate zeolite with natrolite framework. K+ exchanged form was obtained by ion exchange with hydrothermally prepared highly disordered sodium gallosilicate zeolite with natrolite framework. Phase purity, degree of ion exchange, particle morphology, elemental mapping and thermal behaviour of Na-, K-, NH4-gallosilicate zeolites were investigated using various instrumental techniques. Crystal structures of Na-, K-, NH4-gallosilicate zeolites were obtained by Rietveld analysis of powder X-ray diffraction data collected using synchrotron source of X-rays. Refined structural models of hydrated Na-, K-, NH4-gallosilicate zeolites were compared. NH4-gallosilicate zeolite was calcined at 450 °C to obtain its H-form. Generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) is a rare, chronic, neutrophilic inflammatory skin disease characterized by episodes of widespread eruption of sterile, macroscopic pustules that can be accompanied by systemic inflammation and symptoms. A systematic literature review and narrative synthesis were conducted to determine the impact of GPP on patients' health‐related quality of life (HRQoL) and patient‐reported severity of symptoms and to compare its impact to patients with plaque psoriasis (plaque PsO). Searches were undertaken in Embase, MEDLINE and the Cochrane Library from 1 January 2002 to 15 September 2022. Screening was carried out by two reviewers independently. Outcome measures included generic (e.g. EQ‐5D, SF‐36) and dermatology‐specific (e.g. DLQI) clinical outcome assessments, and other relevant patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs) (e.g. severity of pain measured by a numerical rating scale). Overall, 20 studies were found to be eligible for inclusion, of which seven also had data for plaque PsO. The DLQI was the most frequently reported outcome measure (16 out of 20 studies). When reported, mean DLQI (SD) scores varied from 5.7 (1.2) to 15.8 (9.6) across the studies, indicating a moderate to very large effect on HRQoL; the wide range of scores and large SDs were explained by the small population sizes (n ≤ 12 for all studies except two). Similar ranges and large SDs were also observed for other measures within individual studies. However, in general, people with GPP reported a greater impact of their skin condition on HRQoL, when compared to people with plaque PsO (i.e. higher DLQI scores) and higher severity for itch, pain and fatigue. This systematic review highlighted the need for studies with a larger population size, a better understanding of the impact of cutaneous and extracutaneous symptoms and comorbidities on HRQoL during and between GPP flares, and outcome measures specifically tailored to the unique symptoms and the natural course/history of GPP. Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) L. is an economically valuable vegetable. For the agriculture sector, many farmers grow this vegetable, marginal land with different concentrations of salt and pH end up in below average production. Therefore, the effect of salinity on secondary metabolite and protein expression with different levels of salt (NaCl) treatment in tomato varieties were determined. Two varieties were taken, namely, TM-7328 and NP-5005. These two plants were treated against four different concentrations, i.e. 50, 100, 150 and 200 mM of NaCl and distilled water as a control. For secondary metabolite estimation, plant varieties were grown in a pot with irrigated with NaCl of different concentration. After 25 days of treatment of NaCl and control plants, the phytochemical and protein analysis were done. Further, we used the MALDITOF mass spectrometry to determine the different molecular bands. The protein expression analysis after MALDI-TOF analysis showed that the purity of protein expression in two varieties. Simultaneously, the reducing sugars were most elevated in the peel of variety Kufri Pukhraj and starch content in the peel of variety Kufri Purkhraj. Overall, our work highlights the biochemical composition of potato peel and this information can be targeted on the potential usage of potato peel usage for industrial products formulation. Phyllostachys pubescens (Moso bamboo) is a large monopodial bamboo species, naturally distributed in China and cultivated in neighboring countries. Seed availability of the P. pubescens is limited due to its long gregarious flowering cycle. Hence, developing nursery techniques from rhizome cuttings is necessary to fulfill the demand for Moso bamboo plantlets. A randomized block design nursery experiment was conducted with rhizomes which were 2-3 years old, healthy, fresh, not damaged, and have roots. Logistic regression model was used to compare the effect of various treatments and rhizomes lengths. Out of 720 rhizomes, 178 were sprouted (24%). Sprouting probability of rhizome bud was high in treatment T2 (50% rice husk + 50% straw dust) followed by treatment T4 (50% cocopeat + 50% wood dust). The treatment T3 (25% cocopeat + 25% wood dust + 25% rice husk + 25% straw dust) had more negative effects than control treatment. Similarly, sprouting probability was higher when rhizomes with 15 nodes were used for propagation followed those with 10 nodes and 5 nodes. The overall accuracy of the model was 83.9 percent. Results of the study revealed that rhizome cuttings can be used effectively for the production of P. pubescens plantlets in nurseries when there is scarcity of seed production.
