Despite the increased adoption of social media marketing and accreditation practices by NPOs, little attention has been paid to their active promotion of accreditation information on social media and its potential impact on people’s attitude or behavioral change. This study examines whether the integration of accreditation information in nonprofit organizations’ social media marketing affects online users’ attitudes and behavioral intentions toward the promoted nonprofits This study conducts an online experiment using fictitious social media pages that include identifiable information on the NPOs’ environmental causes combined with an accreditation logo on public charities’ accountability as a device to test the signaling effect. This study created a factorial design of (2 × 2) by the combination of the existence of an accreditation logo (presence/absence) and the environmental awareness level (high/low). A total of 146 completed responses from graduate and undergraduate students of a public university were used for the analysis. Results show that respondents, having a high level of environmental awareness, demonstrated more positive attitudes toward the advertised nonprofits with certificate logo. This study suggests that the implementation of social media marketing with accreditation logo should be approached with caution, as it could potentially backfire with individuals with low environmental awareness. This study examines, from a collaborative governance perspective, the public policy process of South Korea in responding to the global health pandemic. In many countries, attention has been focused primarily on governmental capacity and political leadership in containing the COVID-19 pandemic. In South Korea, however, the role of civil society as a collaborative partner to government is especially important. To analyze the comprehensive and substantive nature of government-civil society collaboration, this study assesses the response to COVID-19 along two dimensions: the level of civil society involvement in governance, and the stage in public policy development. The study reveals that the South Korean government was a coordinator of multiple actors and multiple sectors of society, including civil society, and that all three facets of civil society as described by Edwards (2004), were involved: associational life, civility, and engagement in the public sphere.

This study investigated the dynamics of morality, positivity, and social entrepreneurial intention (SEI) of individuals. The 'inconsistent mediation' effects of morality and positivity were observed in relationship with SEI. The findings indicate that positive psychological capital (PsyCap) positively mediated the relationship between morality-as-cooperation (MAC) and SEI, β =.391, SE =.103, p <.001, while the direct effect of MAC on SEI was negative, β = −.174, SE =.092, p =.032. This study examines the pattern of central policy agendas discussed in international development over the last three decades. It highlights the predominant countries and issues by examining the theme‐based periodicals of a leading international development agency. It analyses the visibility of countries and identifies main topics by examining the OECD Development Centre Working Papers. Findings indicate that certain topics (e.g., market, economy, finance, trade) have been consistently covered, while some policy issues have been highlighted in specific periods. This study aims to understand how the internationalization of social enterprise occurs with support from the international non-profit organizations by interorganizational learning. The case study in Indonesia was undertaken to understand the transformation of non-profit and charity organizations, which adopt the concept of social enterprises from their international partners. To understand the interorganizational learning, this study used an interpretive research strategy, which was designed to examine how people make sense of their major life experiences that leads them. The findings indicate the process of inter-organizational learning from network selection to a value distribution in which the action part of the breakthrough innovation process is a cycle leading to the implementation of knowledge. The adoption of social enterprise principles in social innovation is a signal of movement from talking to action by developing and deploying innovative business models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
