This study aims to (1) describe the description of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran, and (2) describe the potential of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran as a medium for character education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that contain the value of character education in the legend of Buka Luwur the Origin of Dukuh Pantaran. Data sources consist of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, recording, recording, and document analysis techniques. The data validation used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models. The results of this research are (1) the legend of Buka Luwur The origin of the Pantaran Hamlet is a type of folklore legend because it tells the origin of the name Dukuh Pantaran; and (2) the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran contain fourteen values ​​of character education, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, love, peaceful, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. With these fourteen values, the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran has the potential as a character education medium that needs to be instilled in students.

This study aimed at describing the role of the folklore entitled Asal-usul Nama Dukuh Pantaran for building moral literacy. This is a qualitative-descriptive study with data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences containing moral literacy values found in the folklore. For collecting the data, observation, interviews, and documentation techniques were employed. For data validation, source triangulation was applied whereas for data analysis, it used interactive model. The result of this research shows that the folklore Asal-usul Nama Dukuh Pantaran contains the components that make up moral literacy competence, namely ethical sensitivity, ethical reasoning, and moral imagination. Ethical sensitivity can be seen in the practices of religious and social attitudes. Meanwhile, ethical reasoning on religious and social attitudes can be identified regarding the usefulness and nature of caring. On the other hand, moral imagination is shown by the nature of relief in accepting decisions. With these three components, the folklore Asal-usul Nama Dukuh Pantaran has the potential as the source for building moral literacy.

Administrasi di mayoritas ranting se-Cabang ‘Aisyiyah Kartasura, Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah belum lengkap. Mayoritas anggota belum memiliki KTA (Kartu Anggota ‘Aisyiyah). Begitu pula, mayoritas ranting belum memiliki buku daftar anggota. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan semangat berorganisasi bagi anggota ‘Aisyiyah pada masa pandemi Covid-19, (2) meningkatkan jumlah Kartu Tanda Anggota “Aisyiyah, (3) menyusun buku anggota di setiap ranting. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Cabang ‘Aisyiyah Kartasura, Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah. Metode kegiatannya meliputi tahap: introduksi, induksi, evaluasi, dan keberlanjutan. Introduksi meliputi perizinan, sosialisasi kegiatan, dan pendataan peserta. Tahap induksi dilakukan dengan ceramah, workshop, dan pendampingan. Ceramah dengan topik urgensi administrasi dalam berorganisasi. Workshop tentang teknik pendataan anggota sebagai penyiapan berkas pengajuan KTA. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan berkas pengajuan KTA di setiap ranting, pengajuan KTA ke ‘Aisyiyah Pusat, dan pendistribusian KTA ke anggota. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan observasi dan refleksi untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan program. Keberlanjutan dilakukan dengan terus menerus memonitor dan mendorong setiap ranting untuk menyelenggarakan administrasi yang tertib dan lengkap. Hasil kegiatan ini sebagai berikut: (1) Ada peningkatan semangat anggota ‘Aisyiyah dalam berorganisasi pada masa pandemi, antara lain: semangat kembali mengadakan kegiatan dalam segala keterbatasan pada masa pandemi, semangat beradaptasi dengan situasi, dan semangat berkoordinasi untuk mendapatkan KTA. (2) Ada peningkatan jumlah anggota yang memiliki KTA dari 139 ditambah 361 pemilik KTA baru, sehingga pemiliki KTA ‘Aisyiyah se-Cabang Kartasura sebanyak 500 KTA. (3) Tersusunnya buku daftar anggota setiap ranting dengan muatan biodata dan nomor anggota KTA dari masing-masing ranting.

This study aims to (1) Describe short stories published in Indonesian textbooks for high school. (2) Describe the content of character education in short stories in Indonesian textbooks for high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data in this study are words, sentences and paragraphs in short stories in Indonesian textbooks for high school. Data sources in this study are Indonesian language textbooks for high schools which are still used in high school, both based on the 2006 curriculum and based on the 2013 curriculum. Data collection techniques used in this study are intensive reading and recording techniques. Data analysis techniques with heuristic and hermeunitic techniques. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The study found 18 lessons in Indonesian language studies, 3 books that did not include a pen, and 15 books included a pen. In 15 lessons found 27 short stories. (2) Short stories in sufficient learning have the potential for 12 educational values of religious character, responsibility, social scrutiny, love, honesty, hard work, tolerance, nationalism, water love, friendship, democracy, and curiosity. The most frequently occurring educational values of character are religious, responsibility, social scrutiny, and love.
