Children in rural settings are less likely to receive mental health services than their urban and suburban counterparts and even less likely to receive evidence-based care. Rural schools could address the need for mental health interventions by using evidence-based practices within a tiered system of supports such as positive behavioral interventions and supports. However, very few school professionals, with or without mental health training, have received training on evidence-based practices. Rural schools need implementation strategies focused on training to prepare school personnel for the implementation of interventions with fidelity. Little is known about training strategies that are feasible and appropriate for the rural school context. User-centered design is an appropriate framework for the development of training strategies for professionals in rural schools because of its participatory approach and the development of products that fit the context where they are going to be used. The purpose of the study was to develop and assess components of an online training platform and implementation strategy based on the user-centered design. Quantitative and qualitative data from 25 participants from an equal number of schools in rural areas of Pennsylvania were used in the study. A mixed-methods design utilizing complementary descriptive statistics and theme analyses indicated that the training platform and implementation strategy were perceived as highly acceptable, appropriate, feasible and usable by school professionals. The resulting training platform and implementation strategy will fill a void in the training literature in rural schools.

يهدف البحث الى الكشف عن حجم ظاهرة وفيات الأجنة وتباينها المكاني والعلاقات المكانية المسببة لها في محافظة بابل لسنة 2021 ، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي والأسلوب الكمي ، واعتمدت الحقيبة الإحصائية ((spss. وتوصل البحث الى ان ظاهرة وفيات الأجنة في محافظة بابل لسنة 2021 بلغ عددها (1443) حالة وفاة ، وتباينت نسبها على مستوى الوحدات الإدارية ، اذ جاء مركز قضاء الهاشمية بالمرتبة الأولى بنسبة (1.27%) ، فيما جاء ناحية الشوملي بالمرتبة الأخيرة بنسبة (0.24%) ، وتراوحت النسب في بقية الوحدات الإدارية بين هاتين النسبتين ، وهناك مجموعة متغيرات كانت السبب في وجود الظاهرة وتباينها مكانياً ، كان في مقدمتها (الأمراض) بنسبة (31%) وجاء متغير (عدم ملائمة المسكن) بالمرتبة الأخيرة بنسبة (4.2%) ، وتراوحت النسب لبقية المتغيرات بين هاتين النسبتين .

The online spread of fake news on various platforms has emerged as a significant concern, posing threats to public opinion, political stability, and the dissemination of reliable information. Researchers have turned to advanced technologies, including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques, to detect and classify fake news to address this issue. This research study explores fake news classification using diverse ML and DL approaches. We utilized a well-known “Fake News” dataset sourced from Kaggle, encompassing a labelled news collection. We implemented diverse ML models, including multinomial naïve bayes (MNB), gaussian naïve bayes (GNB), Bernoulli naïve Bayes (BNB), logistic regression (LR), and passive aggressive classifier (PAC). Additionally, we explored DL models, such as long short-term memory (LSTM), convolutional neural networks (CNN), and CNN-LSTM. We compared the performance of these models based on key evaluation metrics, such as accuracy, precision, recall, and the F1 score. Additionally, we conducted cross-validation and hyperparameter tuning to ensure optimal performance. The results provide valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of each model in classifying fake news. We observed that DL models, particularly LSTM and CNN-LSTM, showed better performance compared to traditional ML models. These models achieved higher accuracy and demonstrated robustness in classification tasks. These findings emphasize the potential of DL models to tackle the spread of fake news effectively and highlight the importance of utilizing advanced techniques to address this challenging problem.

This study focuses on examining the role of leaders’ Five-Factor Model (FFM) personality traits in their mentoring quality and mentees’ job satisfaction. It has also examined how leaders’ mentoring quality impacts mentees’ job satisfaction, leading to their job performance at the workplace. The study used an explanatory research methodology to determine the cause-and-effect relationship between mentors’ FFM personality characteristics, mentoring quality, and mentees’ job satisfaction and job performance. The study was based on path-goal theory and the Big Five-Factor Model of personality characteristics, and a questionnaire was utilized to collect information on the model’s constructs. Following the non-probability convenience sampling technique, the empirical data were collected from the academic and non-academic staff of public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) located within Pakistan on five-point Likert scale. The proposed hypotheses were tested by using PLS software. Four main conclusions were derived from this study. First, the leaders’ openness to new experiences, agreeableness, and emotional stability substantially influenced the mentees’ job satisfaction. Surprisingly, the leaders’ conscientiousness and extraversion qualities did not affect the job satisfaction of the mentees. Second, the findings demonstrated that the openness to experience, conscientiousness, and extroversion has a considerable influence on leaders’ mentoring quality, but agreeableness and emotional stability have a negligible impact. Third, the mentoring quality of the leader had a substantial effect on the job satisfaction and work performance of the mentees. Fourth, this study confirmed the belief that mentees’ job satisfaction has a favorable influence on their job performance within the context of Pakistan’s educational sector. The current study’s findings provided valuable insights to the educational institutions about which personality traits they need to foster in their leaders, making them an excellent leader to enhance their mentees’ job satisfaction and job performance within their organizational settings.

The authors have focused on organizational capabilities to achieve sustainable development goals (SDG) in the current study. In this regard, green knowledge management (GKM) and green innovation (specifically green technological and management innovation) are investigated. Moreover, it is also studied whether organizational green culture (OGC) strengthens organizational capabilities to innovate green and achieve sustainability goals via GKM. The researcher collected data from managers of different levels from manufacturing and service enterprises of all sizes and analyzed it through structural equation modeling. GKM strengthens organizational capabilities to achieve green innovation and SDG as per the findings. Moreover, green innovation has also been found to be a significant positive predictor of corporate sustainable development (CSD). It is also found that OGC strengthens the relationship between GKM and green innovation for achieving SDG. Furthermore, for all sizes of manufacturing and service organizations, GKM is found to be equally important.

Considering a sharp decline in the quality and quantity of natural resources, many organizations are claiming to adopt eco-friendly practices. This study develops and validates the green knowledge management (GKM) scale to understand how effectively firms adhere to GKM practices in their operations. The authors followed a mixed-method approach where interviews with industry experts and an extensive literature review helped researchers develop items for GKM's constructs. It was then followed by empirical validation of the proposed scale by collecting data from the manufacturing and services firms. Twenty-seven items were classified in five dimensions of GKM: green knowledge acquisition, green knowledge sharing, green knowledge storage, green knowledge application, and green knowledge creation. The findings were supported by reliability, convergent and discriminant validity, unidimensionality, and related tests. This research can be considered as the pioneer in the GKM domain that has developed and validated its constructs. It can help researchers get a head start in the GKM field, and research in the green knowledge domain will be aided by this instrument, providing a framework for future research.

The aim of the study was to investigate the efficiency of iron chloride in term of color, chemical oxygen demand (COD), TSS and turbidity removal of dye waste. Response surface methodology (RSM) using central composite design (CCD) was employed to analyze and investigate the effects of the independent factors on color, COD, turbidity, and TSS removal as well as the effect on phytotoxicity concentration. The efficiency of the optimal sample removal for dye color, COD, turbidity, and TSS were 91.89%, 85.40%, 98.36%, and 98.66%, respectively was achieved at a fixed pH value (X1) of 4, iron chloride dosage (X2) of 2.72 g/L, mixing time (X3) of 3 min and mixing speed (X4) of 30 rpm. While the phytotoxicity concentration was 53.05% at the optimal run which considered as not harmful and could be used for irrigation. The finding indicated that the use of iron chloride in coagulation-flocculation has high potential for treatment of dye waste.

This paper describes implementation (fidelity, perceived acceptability) and tier 1 and Tier 2 outcomes of school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports approach including mental health supports at Tier 2 in two K-8 urban schools. Interventions for Tier 2 consisted of three manualized group cognitive behavioral therapy (GCBT) protocols for externalizing behavior problems, depression, and anxiety. Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions were implemented with fidelity but program feasibility for Tier 2 was in question because school personnel needed a great deal of external support to implement the interventions. Tier 1 interventions were associated with a decrease in office discipline referrals. Students participating in GCBT showed a significant decrease in mental health diagnostic severity at posttreatment. A discussion of perceived and actual implementation barriers and how they were addressed is provided. Implications for practice in low-income urban schools are discussed.

Purpose: The conceptual framework based on a comprehensive literature review hypothesized that the perceived CSR of an organization may lead to the development of trust and commitment among the employees, which in turn may lead to the building of the corporate reputation of the organization. Along with that, the moderating effects of HRM practices and organizational justice have also been investigated in the given relationship of corporate social responsibility (CSR) with its given mediators i.e., “organizational trust” and “organizational commitment”. Methodology: The target population of the study was comprised of the management and teaching faculty of educational institutions. The random sampling technique was employed to carry out an empirical study of 380 samples of employees. The data collected were analyzed by using the Smart PLS 3 software. The model was tested, and all the hypotheses were accepted. Findings: A positive relationship has been observed between CSR investments and corporate reputation. Furthermore, empirical results show that the employee’s commitment and the level of trust towards the organization serve as partial mediators between CSR practices and corporate reputation. The results showed that all of the hypotheses were accepted. Conclusion: This study is intuitive and empirically substantiates the selection of organizational justice and HRM practices as moderating variables between the observed CSR activities and its given mediators.

Aim: To compare the effect of iMOVE (Intensive Mobility training with Variability and Error) therapy with dose‐matched conventional therapy on gross motor development and secondary outcomes in young children with cerebral palsy. Method: This single‐blind, randomized controlled trial included repeated assessments of gross motor function (using the Gross Motor Function Measure) and secondary outcomes during a 12‐ to 24‐week intervention phase and at three follow‐up points after treatment. Treatment was delivered three times per week in both groups. Forty‐two children aged 12 to 36 months were stratified by age and motor function to ensure equivalence between groups at baseline. Results: Thirty‐six children completed treatment and follow‐up phases. Treatment fidelity was high and adherence was equivalent between groups (77.3% conventional therapy, 76.2% iMOVE). There were no group differences on the primary (gross motor function after 12 weeks p = 0.18; after 24 weeks p = 0.94) or any secondary (postural control p = 0.88, caregiver satisfaction p = 0.52, child engagement p = 0.98) measure after treatment or at the follow‐up points. However, one‐third of total participants exceeded predicted change after 12 weeks and 77% exceeded predicted change after 24 weeks of treatment. Interpretation: Our observations indicate a potential dose–response effect of rehabilitation therapy. We further demonstrated that individual therapeutic ingredients can be manipulated. When delivered consistently, both iMOVE and conventional therapy interventions might both be more effective than standard care. What this paper adds: Those receiving iMOVE therapy demonstrated more independent practice time, error, and child‐initiation than those receiving the dose‐matched control.iMOVE therapy was not superior to the control (conventional physical) therapy.Most participants exceeded predicted change after 24 weeks of treatment. In this work, the thermal stability of wood flour (WF) was modified using a boric acid treatment. To further understand the impacts of incorporating various proportions of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles loaded on polycarbonate (PC)/wood flour. The rheological, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and interfacial properties were studied. Various properties of the resultant PC/WF/TiO2 nanocomposites were then characterized. The viscosity of the nanocomposite was shown to decrease with shear rate and temperature. XRD investigation indicated that, by introducing TiO2 nanoparticles into PC/WF, the amorphous phase decreased, and the degree of crystallinity increased, as compared to bare PC/WF, from 65.78 to 42.29. In addition, the TGA profile showed that the nanocomposites have a higher resistance to thermal degradation than PC/WF alone. It was observed that the char residue resulting from the TGA of PC/WF/10%wt TiO2 increased to 5.69% compared to pure PC/WF (1.32%). It was found that an appropriate amount of TiO2 in PC/WF caused a significant increase in tensile strength, elongation at break, and on impact strength. These were attributed to an increase in the interface of the dispersed phase. The incorporation of nanoparticles enhanced the thermal conductivity of the nanocomposites, which was found to be higher when a TiO2 content of ∼3 wt% was used. The electrical conductivity of the PC/WF/TiO2 nanocomposite (<3 wt%) hindered the movement of free-moving ions, therefore reducing the nanocomposite's electrical conductivity. However, at > 3 wt% of TiO2, due to the aggregation of nanoparticles, TiO2 nanoclusters formed in the PC/WF composite. Therefore, the additional space so created for the movement of conduction ions at the interface may have resulted in increased ion mobility. This could be the one of explanations for the increased electrical conductivity associated with higher wt% of TiO2. Results showed that treating the PC/WF/TiO2 nanocomposites with boric acid decreased both the rate of heat release and the total heat release. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
