The manufacturing industry is a cornerstone of Indonesia's economy, contributing significantly to the nation's GDP and exhibiting consistent growth. The sector's advancement is closely linked with technological innovations, particularly those associated with Industry 4.0, which integrates advanced technologies into production processes. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems play a pivotal role among these technologies. However, maximizing the potential of ERP systems necessitates robust IT governance, which can be assessed using the COBIT 2019 framework. This research targets the Cardboard Manufacturing Industry, which has not previously undergone an IT governance assessment, primarily due to the lack of a dedicated IT division. The study evaluates the current state of IT governance within the industry, focusing on specific objectives, including APO12 (Manage Risk), BAI09 (Manage Assets), APO14 (Manage Data), and EDM05 (Ensure Stakeholder Engagement). The methodology involves a comprehensive evaluation using the COBIT 2019 framework to identify gaps between the current and desired capability levels. The findings reveal significant discrepancies in IT governance maturity, highlighting improvement areas. Consequently, the study proposes recommendations to bridge these gaps, enhancing overall IT governance. Suggestions for developing customized ERP modules are further provided to support the industry's technological integration and efficiency.

Conventional business processes sometimes lead to negligence and forgetfulness regarding important delivery requests, thereby causing operational disruptions that could impact the company's reputation. The limitations of conventional methods are also faced by CV Karya Pelangi, a company operating in the Die die-cutting industry, where many customer orders are usually submitted orally, causing problems that lead to late deliveries and delays in the production process. This problem is exacerbated by limited resources, for example, a delivery fleet consisting of only two drivers. Focuses on developing web-based applications with prototyping models and implementing the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to overcome delivery route optimization challenges. This research produces a web-based application using a software prototype model. In addition to applying the ACO algorithm to identify optimal delivery routes, the app offers insights into the goods transported, shipper details, and departure and destination times. Simulation results show that CV Karya Pelangi can now determine short circuit paths efficiently, thereby increasing operational efficiency, with a path length of 0.3892 and a pheromone intensity of 2.569. This innovative solution promises to revolutionize cargo shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries increasing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

The ability to transform data is essential to support strategic decision-making in a company or organization. Data transformation can be done by utilizing data warehouse technology. Therefore, it is necessary to know the description of data warehouses that use the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process. This research will focus on implementing Datawarehouse at TechTrove, an e-commerce company using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI). Star Schema organizes data marts and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) to optimize data warehouse tasks. Business Intelligence (BI) tools are critical in extracting valuable insights and showcasing the platform's analytical capabilities in customer behavior analysis, product evaluation, sales monitoring, and inventory management. This research transformed raw data into a strategic plan to support decisions in E-Commerce companies.

Private schools need help in handling school fees and financial processes. Traditional manual payment systems result in data processing issues, delayed financial reporting, and complications from misplaced records. Late fee payments threaten school income, which is crucial for staff salaries. Modern solutions are imperative. Desktop applications have limitations, requiring installation on specific devices, leading to compatibility concerns. This research opts for a web-based application. It employs prototyping models and predictive abilities using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The web-based application aims to streamline fee management and predict payment delays, enhancing financial transaction management while prioritizing data security through database encryption. This web-based solution aligns with private schools' operational needs, simplifying payments and increasing late payment prediction accuracy. Extensive black-box testing validated its suitability, satisfying administrative staff needs. Four test cases gained administrative team approval. This innovation empowers private schools to optimize operations and financial management. In summary, the research tackles critical financial challenges private schools face by introducing a web-based application that simplifies payment processes, enhances accuracy in predicting late payments, and aligns seamlessly with administrative needs.

This research aims to increase efficiency in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the automotive components industry, focusing on CV Bengkel Megamakmur. This workshop is one of the MSMEs engaged in Indonesia's car spare parts industry. In the ongoing business process, these MSMEs need some help in inventory management, stock of goods, and less integrated sales transaction recording. The main problem identified was the discrepancy between the number of products sold and sales transaction reports. A web-based Point of Sale (POS) application was implemented, which allows the integration of inventory data and sales transactions. The method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD), suitable for projects with limited resources and short work schedules. This research results in a Point of Sale application that can optimize business processes for managing inventory by monitoring stock and recording sales transactions in an integrated manner. This application has been tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and obtained an average score of 86.6, included in the "very good" category. The test results show that this application has good functionality and can optimize MSME business processes in the automotive components industry.

In the contemporary military and civil service, mastery in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting information is indispensable for frontline service members and administrative civil servants. Therefore, this training activity is very relevant and essential in preparing them. Report and Data Processing (INFOLAHTA) addresses this need by equipping participants with the transformative potential of Microsoft Excel, positioned at the intersection of technological advancement and strategic skills. This training, led by Multimedia Nusantara University, facilitates training for soldiers and civil servants in Microsoft Excel to process data and information. The results obtained from the participants, combined with the trainers' expertise and support from KOREM 052/Wijayakrama Kodam Jaya, underscore the transformational impact of INFOLAHTA. Empowered Soldiers and Civil Servants emerge proficient at Excel, ready to perform their roles skillfully and confidently. This Community Outreach activity shows the importance of INFOLAHTA in improving professional competence and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The ongoing impact of this effort is expected to enrich the insights and capabilities of Soldiers and Civil Servants.

Efficiency and effectiveness are crucial in the food & beverage industry. Conventional methods employed by companies often lead to discrepancies between actual stock and the stock available for sale, resulting in significant losses. To address this issue, a point-of-sales-based system has been implemented, enabling companies to monitor transaction activities seamlessly. The research utilized the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method to develop a concise and fast software application. Furthermore, hashing and encryption methods have been incorporated to enhance database security, utilizing the SHA-512 algorithm for hashing and data encryption. In the digital era, companies are required to optimize technological innovation to increase capacity in achieving work that is more efficient, effective, productive, and has a competitive advantage. Companies must use the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. Implementing an ERP system provides competitive advantages by means of decision-making proven for fast and precise management. ERP system is an integrated information system for strategic company management decision-making. For this reason, implementing an ERP system is necessary. Unfortunately, the fact shows that many companies fail to implement an ERP system, resulting in costly implementation expenses. Previous research has discussed empirical studies on the critical success factors for implementing an ERP system effectively. Therefore, further research still needs to be done by discussing ERP implementation from the perspective of measuring companies’ readiness levels in ERP system implementation. This research methodology criticized and analyzed the comparison of eleven prior research articles as a basis for developing a model to measure companies’ readiness levels in implementing ERP systems. This research examined quantitative data gathered through the use of questionnaire method to rank indicators for measuring companies’ readiness levels by identifying four dimensions and 27 indicators. This research aims to produce a model for measuring companies’ readiness to implement the ERP system on time successfully.

One example of information technology that has been widely applied to the business processes of a business venture is a web-based information system. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive businesses supporting the country's economy and individual companies. One of the MSMEs that will be the object of research this time is MSME Putra Anugrah Sejahtera, and This MSMEs sells premium spray paint for wheels with more than 100 colours. Around 15-20 customers daily make direct transactions at these MSMEs. In the running business processes, there are several obstacles, such as incorrect information when checking the stock of goods and recording sales transactions. This research aims to produce a web-based cashier and inventory information system to minimize errors and simplify sales and inventory transactions. System development using the Prototyping model with RDBMS MySQL was successfully developed. The results testing of systems using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) show that the resulting system follows user needs and answers the obstacles UMKM Putra Anugrah Sejahtera faces.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are vital for a country's economy, fostering job creation and economic growth. This research focuses on MSME water distribution agents engaged in selling and distributing various brands and types of bottled drinking water. With a customer base exceeding a thousand and an average of 30 daily transactions, these agents encounter specific challenges in inventory and sales reporting. Presently, MSMEs rely on traditional methods, using books to record stock and sales reports, manually calculating transactions with calculators, and preparing handwritten paper invoices. These practices often result in writing errors, inaccuracies in product information, and pricing inconsistencies. Furthermore, the manual nature of these processes consumes significant time and effort on a daily basis. This study highlights the applicability of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system design method in creating an efficient and time-sensitive solution. By leveraging RAD, the system design was swiftly accomplished with a limited team. The traceability matrix test validates the successful alignment of the designed information system with the needs of MSME agents in the drinking water distribution sector. The findings of this study provide compelling evidence that the RAD system design approach significantly enhances inventory and sales management practices for MSMEs involved in drinking water distribution. By implementing the developed information system, MSME agents can streamline their operations, eliminate manual errors, and improve overall efficiency, thereby fostering their growth and success in the market.

Integrating technology and industries has opened doors to new possibilities, leading to innovative solutions that reshape traditional practices. The water tank industry is an example that has witnessed significant technological influence as companies seek to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and enhance customer interactions. This article focuses on PT Sanggabuana Berjaya Indonesia (SBI), a company operating in the water tank industry in Indonesia. It discusses challenges related to conventional reporting methods for marketing visits and route determination for their marketing team. Previous studies in similar contexts have successfully addressed similar issues using technology, including GPS-based monitoring for location tracking and the development of mobile applications using the Extreme Programming (XP) model. Considering the relevant literature and interview results with SBI's sales manager, an Android-based monitoring application is proposed as a potential solution. The design process follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Extreme Programming (XP) model, covering planning, design, coding, and testing stages. Due to time and resource constraints, further stages of integration, delivery, retrospective, and continuous improvement are left for future work. This research proves that applying the extreme programming model in designing industry applications is quite relevant. The manager or related supervisor performs employee performance assessments to measure the performance and competency of the company's employees. The results of employee assessments can be used to make decisions. Three problems arise in the performance assessment process for PT Tibeta Logistik Indonesia's current employees. The first is that the assessment process is carried out conventionally. So it takes longer, the assessment results can be more objective, and managers or superiors cannot monitor employee performance evaluation results. Based on the literature review, it is known that the Decision Support System is a method that performs assessments more quickly and objectively. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is the Decision Support System method for performance assessment. The decision support system will be implemented on a website-based system designed with a prototype model. This research produces a website-based decision support system that can contribute to companies in evaluating employee performance. Before implementation, the decision support system was tested using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method and obtained very good average results. Then in the comparison between before and after using the system, the results of employee assessments when using the system get superior results in 3 aspects: Integration, security, and ranking. Media sosial memang bukanlah hal yang baru dalam dunia modern sekarang ini, dimulai dari facebook, twitter, Path, Instagram dan masih banyak lagi. Peran media sosial memang dirasa sangat membantu bagi mereka yang ingin mencari teman yang mungkin sudah lama tidak bertemu. Selain fungsi “sosial” media sosial saat ini bertransformasi menjadi sebuah media untuk menciptakan sebuah fenomena baru dalam dunia ekonomi, diantaranya sebagai media promosi hingga transaksi jual beli, hal ini menjadi sebuah kekuatan baru dalam dunia ekonomi dimana kita bisa memangkas biaya pemasaran dengan tidak mengurangi pemasukan bahkan pemasaran bisa lebih efektif. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar fungsi media sosial khususnya facebook dalam perkembangan e-commerce di Indonesia.
