Background and Aims: Considering the increasing use of information technology (IT) and the need of the implementation of related projects, the lack of IT specialists in the health system is one of the major challenges that require planning and foreseeing. This study was conducted with the aim of predicting the number of required IT personnel in hospitals of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences based on the modeling of identified and weighed influential factors in 2023. Method: First, Delphi method and multi‐criteria decision‐making (MCDM) using the Expository Posthaste Effective Resemblant Tool (ExPERT) were conducted to identify and weigh the components that affect IT staff's workload in hospitals. Then, the model for predicting the required number of IT personnel for the involved hospitals was developed. In all stages, the obtained information and results were checked and confirmed using experts' opinions in Focus Group Discussions. Results: Twenty‐one hospitals (57%) out of 37 hospitals are facing a shortage of IT personnel. This varies from 0.5 to 1.6 personnel in different hospitals. Thirteen hospitals (35%) were reported to have adequate IT staffing and three hospitals (8%) had excess IT staffing. Conclusion: This study provided a predictive model for required IT staff in hospitals using MCDM through ExPERT which can be used in cases where the use of workload‐based methods such as Workload Indicators of Staffing Need is complex or time‐consuming. Background and aim: Obstetrics and gynecology information system is a critical component of the HIS in social security organization health centers. The objective of this study was to evaluate the usability of this system using the cognitive walkthrough method. Also, the present study provided a detailed formal description of how the cognitive usability evaluation can be applied and reported for a health care information system. Methods: This study was conducted at the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences' usability lab from March 2016 to June 2017. A two-phase approach was used to conduct the cognitive walkthrough evaluation: preparatory and evaluation. The preparation was done in three stages: first, we investigated users' capabilities and background knowledge through a semi-structured interview. Second, the evaluation scenario was developed based on the most common tasks in routine workflow of users. Finally, each task was broken down into sequences of actions. In the evaluation phase, three usability experts independently assessed each action using a four-item checklist. Problems were categorized thematically and were reported from three different perspectives: Question-based, Task-based, and Evaluator-based. The data were then analyzed to understand the contribution of each task, along with its mean severity score. Results: Evaluators' responses were compared and any conflict was resolved in an expert panel. A total of 116 usability problems were identified based on the consensus of the evaluators. Inadequate system feedback was found to be the main source of 43% of the problems, and resulted in users confusion. Conclusion: Since the system was evaluated in its pilot implementation phase, there was an opportunity to prevent future potential usability problems. The use of a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach in this usability study provided a more comprehensive perspective of the system problems. Background: Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer technology that simulates real environments and circumstances and is employed in some healthcare contexts, including chronic diseases. people with hemophilia require timely treatment and rehabilitation due to the long course of these disorders. Objective: The objective of this paper was to conduct a review of published studies in the field of VR application in hemophilia for treatment and rehabilitation. Material and Methods: The present study was a review of articles in Pubmed and Science Direct databases without a time limit using the keywords Virtual Reality AND Hemophilia were performed. Then, to evaluate the quality of the collected articles, two researchers reviewed the articles in terms of title, abstract, introduction, methodology, results, and discussion. Finally, 3 main articles were selected based on inclusion, exclusion, and quality evaluation criteria. Results: Most studies reveal positive results from virtual reality. It is a practical and effective tool in the treatment of people with hemophilia. In addition, the findings of this review showed that virtual reality technologies are low-cost and versatile and can be effective for clinical rehabilitation in health care and home environments. Conclusion: VR and interactive devices led to the development of comprehensive, portable, accessible, and usable systems for some hemophilia disease interventions. Background: The widespread occurrence of COVID-19 has caused people to seek information from various sources such as virtual social networks, which can positively or negatively affect one's mental status. In this article, we present the role of virtual social networks in shaping people's attitudes toward COVID-19 in Iran., Materials and Methods: This is an applied descriptive study, in which 1010 users of virtual social networks were surveyed through an electronic questionnaire. Data were analyzed with SPSS, Excel, and Rapid Miner software. The FP-growth technique was used to investigate the concurrence of choices in multiple-choice questions, and the Mann-Whitney and the Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to determine the correlation of the mean of each dimension with demographic data. Moreover, the Wilcoxon signed-rank, the Shapiro-Wilk, and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests were used., Results: Virtual social networks use increased significantly (40%) after the COVID-19 outbreak. According to users, the greatest psychological impact of virtual social networks was the induction of anxiety (46.43%) and the most common use was to learn about COVID-19 prevention and treatment (69.3%). Based on the findings, there were no significant differences between the "awareness," "behavior intention," and "attitude and trust" and the users' marital status, age group, educational degree, and gender., Conclusion: Although social networks have enriched the public knowledge, they increased the individuals' anxiety mostly because of controversial news and disperse of misinformation which in turn misled the users. The social networks play an important role in directing the behavioral inclinations. Background: The main goal of physical therapy is to help the patient gain a better health status. Several studies have investigated the use of reminders to prevent such failures on the patients' side. This article presents a systematic review of the literature concerning reminders in physical therapy., Methods: Databases were searched until May 2017 and literatures were found from April 1992 until 2017. The literature recruitment strategy was based on applying several keywords and Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) combination running against title and abstract, including concepts such as reminder, physical therapy. The finally selected articles were categorized through reminder aspects such as how, who feedback. Data were extracted according to PRISMA guidelines., Results: In 47% of studies, the reminder was sent to the patients, 29% to the physical therapists and 12% to the caretaker team. In 24% of the studies, paper-based letters were main medium for reminders while the rest were various types of media like emails and SMS mobile text messages. 35% of the articles showed positive effects of the reminders., Conclusions: Many reminder methods consisted of SMS, phone calls, letters, emails and notices on the wall were used in physical therapy. Reminders may be used to improve patients' adherence to exercise programs.

Not considering the usability in designing clinical information systems causes problems in human-computer interaction and patient dissatisfaction. Therefore, in this study, the usability of the bed information management system (BIMS) was examined by think-aloud method. This cross-sectional study was conducted on the BIMS in 50 noneducational hospitals. Participants consisted of three groups including users, facilitators, and technical support. To carry out the study, a scenario consisting of four tasks was designed. Three researchers analyzed the recorded files to identify the usability problems and their severity. The mean time of the evaluation process was 20:33 ± 4:47 s. The total number of the problems identifies by users was 80 cases. Data entry and layout problems with 38 (48%) and 33 (41%) cases were the most frequently found problems, respectively. About 61% and 55% of the data entry and layout problems had a minor severity (Severity 2), respectively. Furthermore, 43 (54%) cases of the problems were resolved by the users and 32 (40%) cases by the facilitator assistance. This study showed that a large number of the problems were due to the system poor design. Furthermore, by increasing the users' level of knowledge about the system, it is possible to enhance user-system interaction. It is recommended that before designing and implementing a system, the system should be evaluated for usability, and the users should be educated in clinical information systems., Competing Interests: There are no conflicts of interest.
