Diese Handreichung erläutert Schritt für Schritt die Möglichkeit, Dienste und Werkzeuge unter dem Dach des Vereins Geistes- und Kulturwissenschaftliche Forschungsinfrastrukturen (GKFI e.V.)in den SSH Open Marketplace einzupflegen. Entstanden ist dies aus einer Initiative von DARIAH-EU und DARIAH-DE zur eindeutigen Identifizierung und zur Pflege von Ressourcen aus diesem ERIC. Siehe dazu related IDs.

With these guidelines we explain how to add Tools & Services as DARIAH National Resources into the SSH Open Marketplace. The DARIAH National Coordinators Committee agreed on therecommendations. These guidelines can also be used for other national infrastructure consortia to manage and represent their tools and services for the community in an open and collaborative way.This represents a living document, that is subject to updated versions as practices change and the SSH Open Marketplace evolves.

One of the best known but still not really solved problems in Research Infrastructures (RI) is how to understand and meet the needs and requirements of its users. At the national and European level, the most common method is to invite individual researchers into boards of RI consortia. However, this method seems to be insufficient for communities with a wide range of heterogeneous sub-disciplines. Collecting user stories serves as an additional method to align planned services in RI with the researchers’ needs, i.e. making sure that existing tools and services match the users’ expectations. We take a look at the different kinds of user stories in several scientific communities and the ability of the Humanities to listen and analyse stories in a mixture of qualitative, hermeneutic and quantitative methods.

Der Workshop "FAIRes Datenmanagement mit dem DARIAH-DE Repository" wurde auf der TagungDHd2022 - Kulturen des digitalen Gedächtnisses durchgeführt. Die Teilnehmenden wurden nach einer kurzen Einführung in DARIAH-DE sowie die FAIR-Prinzipien an die Funktionalitäten desDARIAH-DE Repository sowie den weiteren Modulen der DARIAH-DE Forschungsdaten-Föderationsarchitektur (DFA) herangeführt.&nbsp

Mit dem DARIAH-DE Repository können sowohl Individualforschende als auch Forschungsinstitutionen und weitere Datengeber unter Berücksichtigung der FAIR-Prinzipien ihre Daten dauerhaft und referenzierbar publizieren und speichern. Eingebettet in die Infrastruktur von DARIAH- und CLARIAH-DE garantiert das Repository Nachhaltigkeit und Support – und somit ein hohes Maß an Nutzendenfreundlichkeit. Für die Verwendung ist lediglich ein DARIAH- oder Föderationsaccount nötig und es entstehen keine Kosten auf Seiten der Nutzenden. In dem halbtägigen Workshop wird das Dateneingabewerkzeug des DARIAH-DE Repositorys, der Publikator, vorgestellt und gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmenden ausprobiert. Der Hands-On-Charakter des Workshops wird in Form von Impulsvorträgen über FAIRes Datenmanagement und die technische Einbettung des Repositorys in seine Umgebung, die DARIAH-DE Datenföderationsrachitektur, angereichert. Ein Beitrag zur 8. Tagung des Verbands "Digital Humanities im deutschsprachigen Raum" - DHd 2022 Kulturen des digitalen Gedächtnisses.

An ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) operates and provides research infrastructure offerings, usually within a disciplinary scope, for researchers regardless of their national or institutional background. Apart from direct funding, an ERIC is built upon the national contributions from partner countries, notably cash and in-kind contributions. This concept, the procedures, advantages and options for future enhancement are described in this paper from the German perspective focussing on the in-kinds. The paper is intended to support an informed discussion on the advancement of the in-kind contribution concept. The overall aim is to contribute to the efficiency and uptake of the ERICs��� research infrastructure offerings., Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The ever-evolving digitisation of research across all disciplines yearns for an equally evolving offer of corresponding services. Diverse and large collections of research data become useful for researchers especially when they are FAIR. Comprehensive, user-friendly, and accurate search interfaces are important elements within this context. The DARIAH-DE Data Federation Architecture (DFA) responds to these requirements with its services. As a well-established integral part of DARIAH-DE, the DFA is now also intertwined with the CLARIN search spaces; most notably the Federated Content Search has become an endpoint for the DARIAH-DE Collection Registry. This is the third of three reports composing the technology watch of CLARIAH-DE. The aim of all three reports is to give an overview of technological developments relevant to the project and its partners, and to offer recommendations concerning their adaptation within CLARIAH-DE. The first technology watch report discussed digital repository solutions from the perspective of research infrastructures. Simultaneously, an evaluation of current PID solutions was published. The second technology watch report, published as DARIAH-DE Working Paper, discussed certification schemes from the perspective of a humanities research infrastructure. The current report maps the relations of CLARIAH-DE with the European research infrastructure level and takes a more strategic and governance-related perspective, as compared to the other reports. It aims at aggregating an overview of the most relevant projects and initiatives CLARIAH-DE has to be aware of, connects to, or cooperates with for the sake of providing support to its users, i.e. researchers affiliated with the humanities. For the sake of clarity, we decided to arrange the format in a table. The matrix does not claim completeness but covers the most relevant European initiatives for CLARIAH-DE from the perspective of Work Package 4, which is devoted to the technical integration. The matrix reflects the state of March 2021. The authors have selected those aspects they considered relevant or where synergies and integration benefits seemed to be most obvious., The document is intended to be read on screen or to be printed as paper version in the DIN A3 format.

Die Task Area Infrastructure/Operations (kurz: IO) ist für die Integration und Koordination der Infrastrukturentwicklung von Text+ verantwortlich – auch mit Blick auf die NFDI insgesamt – und arbeitet eng mit den drei Datendomänen (Collections, Editions, Lexical Resources) zusammen. Die Aufgaben sind in Maßnahmen entlang der FAIR-Prinzipien strukturiert. Hinzu kommen Communityaktivitäten und Software Services. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit kommt den AGs sowie den folgenden Themen zu: Werkzeuge für die interne Projektarbeit (z.B. Cloud, Projektmanagement, Instant Messaging) und für den Austausch mit den Text+-Communities (z.B. Webportal, Helpdesk) Interoperabilität von Angeboten und Diensten (Data Services, Community Activities, Software Services) Cross Domain-Topics mit den drei Datendomänen, insbesondere im Rahmen von AGs (z.B. AG Registry) Anschlussfähigkeit zu anderen NFDI-Angeboten, insbesondere zur Gruppe der geistes- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Konsortien und Konsortialinitiativen mit NFDI4Culture, NFDI4Memory und NFDI4Objects.
