Award Winning Poster The 7 Day online survey was performed specifically among the students of Jagannath University (JnU) of Bangladesh to understand the perception and knowledge about Antibiotic Resistance awareness. We hypothesized that many students may know the term ‘Antibiotic Resistance’ but may not be aware of the problem completely. A total of 229 respondents from 36 departments spontaneously participated: 55.5% were male and 44.5% were female of 20-25 years (94.8%). The result explains 80.3% students are familiar with ‘Antibiotic Resistance’ term. 67.49% agreed that antibiotic resistance is a problem whereas, 32.6% were disagreed or neutral. 48% agreed on the statement- Antibiotics can kill bacteria whereas 52% agreed on viruses and fungi. Our findings indicated that, a large portion of students are unaware of sustainable use of antibiotics. Taking several actions may help in creating consciousness among students so that they can raise awareness other people thus implicitly helping in attaining SDGs.
