Abstract

La Cinématographie est une merveilleuse méthode d'éducation générale et de formation technique » 1. Pour compléter cette sentence avancée par le Ministère de l'Agriculture en 1928 en introduction d'un ouvrage sur le cinéma agricole, ajoutons qu'en ce début de XX e siècle, le cinéma s'impose aussi comme un nouvel et formidable outil de propagande pour les productions, les méthodes et les institutions agricoles françaises. En effet, dès le début des années 1920, le Ministère de l'Agriculture, en lien avec des scientifiques ou des sociétés privées, se lance dans l'édition cinématographique afin de montrer, sous la forme de documentaires principalement, les multiples facettes qui forment l'agriculture française et de valoriser, en particulier, leur modernité 2. Le film Le vignoble français fait partie de ce mouvement 3. Ce film muet des années 1925-1926 4 , coréalisé et financé par l'Etat et le Comptoir Français de l'Azote, nous ouvre une fenêtre sur la perception au début du XX e siècle du thème du vin et de la santé en France dans une période-clé, après la crise du phylloxéra et pendant la construction des appellations d'origine.

Abstract

National audience; The NemadexAB rootstock, created by Alain Bouquet at INRA Montpellier and registered in 2011, is able to delay the contaminations of the vines by GFLV thanks to the presence of Muscadinia rotundifolia in his parenthood. But it remains difficult to grow, with a poor conferred vigor to scion and a susceptibility to both chlorosis and drought. For those reasons, NemadexAB is considered as a qualitative and ‘niche’ rootstock, to be used as Riparia or 101-14. This article reviews its characteristics on both ability to delay GFLV contaminations and agronomical requirements from the current experimental trials. It also issues prospective work for an integrated way of reducing fanleaf decline.; Le porte-greffe NemadexAB, obtenu par Alain Bouquet à l’INRA de Montpellier est inscrit au catalogue depuis 2011, présente des aptitudes à retarder les contaminations par la virose du court-noué du fait de son parent Muscadinia rotundifolia. Mais c’est un porte-greffe exigent, présentant une faible vigueur conférée et une sensibilité à la chlorose et à la sécheresse. Pour ces raisons, le Nemadex AB est un porte-greffe qualitatif que l’on peut qualifier « de niche », s’utilisant dans les mêmes conditions que le Riparia ou le 101-14. Cet article fait la synthèse des expérimentations en cours concernant le retard à la contamination et de comportement agronomique, et dresse les conditions à respecter pour son utilisation ainsi que les perspectives de recherche qui se dessinent en vue d’obtenir un itinéraire intégré de lutte contre le court-noué.

Abstract

Les travaux réalisés sur deux maladies du bois de la vigne (esca, BDA) ont montré leur effet sur la récolte et la croissance de la pousse printanière qui était annulé deux années après l’apparition des symptômes. Ces maladies ont aussi conduit à des modifications des propriétés analytiques des moûts et des vins. Les vins issus de raisins collectés sur des ceps symptomatiques n’étaient pas toujours les plus dépréciés. Les études effectuées sur le cycle biologique ont permis de mettre au point des outils pour différencier les individus de deux espèces de Botryosphaeriaceae et des outils d’hybridation in situ qui permettront de les localiser précisément dans les tissus. Elles ont aussi identifié la période de sensibilité de la plante face à ces champignons et montré l’importance de deux facteurs (stade phénologique, charge) pour leur développement. Les organes porteurs de leurs sources d’inoculum ont été identifiés et une méthode a été mise au point pour les quantifier. Parmi les pratiques agronomiques testées (taille, densité, aménagement de coteaux), aucunes n’influaient sur leur expression dans le vignoble, la situation semblait avoir plus d’importance que les pratiques testées. Enfin, la production de plants totalement exempts de champignons pathogènes ou moins porteurs n’a pas été efficace dans la lutte contre ces maladies.

Abstract

Inhibition of the sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) by canagliflozin in type 2 diabetes mellitus results in large between-patient variability in clinical response. To better understand this variability, the positron emission tomography (PET) tracer [ 18 F]canagliflozin was developed via a Cu-mediated 18 F-fluorination of its boronic ester precursor with a radiochemical yield of 2.0 ± 1.9% and a purity of >95%. The GMP automated synthesis originated [ 18 F]canagliflozin with a yield of 0.5-3% ( n = 4) and a purity of >95%. Autoradiography showed [ 18 F]canagliflozin binding in human kidney sections containing SGLT2. Since [ 18 F]canagliflozin is the isotopologue of the extensively characterized drug canagliflozin and thus shares its toxicological and pharmacological characteristics, it enables its immediate use in patients.

25. A new approach to produce [ 18 F]MC225 via one-step synthesis, a PET radiotracer for measuring P-gp function.

Abstract

Background: [ 18 F]MC225 is a radiotracer for imaging P-glycoprotein (P-gp) function at the blood-brain barrier. The P-gp function can be altered due to different factors, for instance, decreased P-gp function has been described in patients with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's Disease. The current applied radiosynthesis of [ 18 F]MC225 involves 2 steps, including the distillation of the [ 18 F] fluoroethylbromide intermediate. To develop a more robust synthetic procedure, it is of interest to produce the radiotracer via a 1-step synthesis. The present study describes a new synthetic approach to produce [ 18 F]MC225 via direct 18 F-fluorination. Moreover, we also provide the appropriate conditions for the automation of the synthesis. A mesylate precursor was synthesized via a multi-step synthetic route and used for the radiolabeling. The nucleophilic substitution of the mesylate group by [ 18 F] Fluoride was automated in two different synthesis modules: IBA Synthera and Eckert and Ziegler PharmTracer (E&Z)., Results: The mesylate precursor was synthesized in 7 steps starting with 5-hydroxy-1-tetralone (commercially available) in practical yields. The stability of the precursor was improved via mesylate salt formation method. The radiolabeling was done by adding the mesylate precursor dissolved in DMF to the dried [ 18 F]KF/K 2.2.2 complex and heating at 140 °C for 30 min. Quality control by UPLC confirmed the production of [ 18 F]MC225 with a molar activity (A m ) higher than 100 GBq/micromole. The synthesis time in Synthera was 106 min and the product was obtained with a radiochemical purity higher than 95% and RCY of 6.5%, while the production in E&Z lasted 120 min and the product had a lower radiochemical purity (91%) and RCY (3.8%)., Conclusions: [ 18 F]MC225 was successfully produced via a 1-step reaction. The procedure is suitable for automation using commercially available synthesis modules. The automation of the radiosynthesis in the Synthera module allows the production of the [ 18 F]MC225 by a reliable and simple method., (© 2021. The Author(s).)

Abstract

Even though, it has long been considered as a passive channel allowing communication between the systemic and pulmonary circulations, it is now clearly established that the right ventricle plays an essential role in cardio-pulmonary couple physiology. Its failure results in a clinical presentation that reflects the systemic congestion and reduced cardiac output. It is the consequence of two pathological situations frequently encountered in intensive care including pulmonary vascular resistance increase and right ventricle contraction alteration. Mechanical ventilation, certain drugs and volume overload can also participate. The management of the acute right heart failure is based on the combination of supportive treatment and causal treatment, specific to the etiology. Supportive therapy aims to optimize filling pressures, reduce afterload and support cardiac contractibility. With the growing number of therapeutic options used according to co-morbidities, decision-making by a multidisciplinary heart team seems essential.

Abstract

A new family of lanthanide ionic complexes derived from chiral, substituted (R)-binaphthylamine ligands, [Li(thf)(4)][Ln{(R)-C(20)H(12)(NR)(2)}(2)] (Ln=Yb, Sm, Nd, or Lu), has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystal structure analyses. All complexes have been tested as new catalysts for the hydroamination/cyclization of 1-(aminomethyl)-1-allylcyclohexane. Ytterbium complexes proved to be both the most active and the most enantioselective, and the use of the complex [Li(thf)(4)][Yb{(R)-C(20)H(12)(NC(3)H(7))(2)}(2)], bearing isopropyl radicals on the nitrogen atoms, allowed the formation of the corresponding spiropyrrolidine in high yield with up to 70 % ee.
