Tomatoes are a major export commodity in the country's plantation sector. This increases the urgency of efforts to increase tomato productivity, both in terms of quantity and quality. Evaluation of tomato quality currently relies on the degree of ripeness and skin texture. The conventional method currently used involves manual inspection, which can allow for misjudgment and economic loss. This research aims to use a digital image-based approach by utilizing a decision support system that combines the AHP and TOPSIS methods to assess tomato quality based on color and texture criteria. This research evaluates and ranks nine tomato images that have good quality, by giving higher priority to skin texture than skin color. Evaluation results from three tests showed that the system was able to determine the quality of tomatoes with an average kappa value of 0.78, which interpreted the results of good agreement between the system and expert judgments.

The global challenges of urban poverty and homelessness are widely considered among the most critical, with beggars usually symbolizing visible and marginalized groups of the urban poor. Using the Sustainable Livelihoods framework, this paper considers how livelihood capitals influence survival strategies among urban beggars in Surakarta, Indonesia. Key findings reveal that financial and social capital plays a significant role in developing an enabling environment to enhance the transition from begging to other non-begging livelihoods; financial stability diminishes one’s dependence on begging, whereas social networks become important access vehicles. Human capital, such as education and vocation, significantly diminishes dependence upon begging. Physical capital most often reinforces dependence by maintaining poverty traps. Surprisingly, environmental quality and physical health had a limited role since beggars are concerned about immediate survival rather than general well-being. A total of 150 beggars were recruited using the time-location sampling method. Out of these, 142 valid responses were analyzed. Different livelihood capitals were quantified through the entropy method, whereas their influence on livelihood strategy was analyzed using logistic regression models. Findings emphasize how such interventions are necessary to strengthen social support networks through community programs with NGO partnerships, expand access to microfinance against financial instability, and skill-building initiatives with appropriate relevance to urban beggars. These findings have operationalized policy insights for designing inclusive poverty alleviation strategies in the rapidly urbanizing context of addressing capital deficiencies and sustaining transitions.

Indonesia experiences frequent flooding, with data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) revealing that floods account for 41% of all natural disasters (1,441 incidents) recorded in 2021. These floods cause significant property damage and casualties. To address this challenge, we have developed a prototype flood early warning system. This system utilizes ultrasonic sensors for real-time water level detection. Sensor data is transmitted to designated personnel through a website interface. Additionally, the system leverages a Telegram bot to deliver flood early warnings directly to the community residing in flood-prone areas. The sensor data comparison test yielded an error rate of only 0.6175% with an average difference of 1 cm, demonstrating the system's accuracy and functionality. Furthermore, a notification test conducted ten times achieved 100% accuracy. The Telegram bot successfully sent text message alerts (alert 1, alert 2, alert 3) with an average delivery time of 4.07 seconds. This prototype offers a promising solution for flood mitigation. By providing real-time water level data and issuing timely alerts via a user-friendly Telegram bot, the system empowers communities to prepare for potential flooding and minimize associated risks.

Vision is a very valuable gift from God; Most aspects of human needs in the body are dominated by vision. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) there are around 180 million people in the world experiencing visual impairment, while the prevalence of blindness in Indonesia reaches 3 million people (1.5% of Indonesia's population), so we designed a system in the form of a prototype that could detect objects around the user and convey data in the form of sound to the user. This research discusses the application of a machine learning model using the Convolutional Neural Network method to detect objects optimally. The objects that have been collected will be trained on machine learning and produce a model to be embedded in the system's main machine, namely the Raspberry PI 4B. The training of the machine learning model was carried out several times by changing the compositions of several layers until a model with optimal accuracy was obtained; however, the size of the resulting model was quite large, so the researchers carried out SSDMobileNetV2 transfer learning to obtain the optimal model. The optimal model was obtained with a model precision of 92% and a model size of 18 MB. Object detection tests carried out under 3 test conditions resulted in an average object detection accuracy of 84.3%, and distance detection tests carried out under 10 conditions resulted in an average distance detection error of 2.1 cm. The results show that the system was accurate and effective.

The demands of life require a balance between faith and piety, reflected in noble morals. Therefore, students need to be prepared and guided to have good morals. Moral education is essential; MA Islamic Center Bin Baz (ICBB) and MA Jamillarohman apply this concept. Research was conducted to evaluate the education system and the implementation of morals in the two schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach and a multi-case study type. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's interactive approach and cross-case data analysis. The results of the research show similarities in both schools, such as the goal of forming moral character, the implementation of the education system at the beginning of the school year through meetings with the teacher council, and positive implications for students such as honesty, trustworthiness, devotion to worship, a tendency to help in benevolence, obedience to others. Old, and generous. The difference between the two lies in the karakul Karima pattern at ICBB, which involves Islamic boarding schools, MA Jamillurohman's emphasis on the MAPK curriculum, and MA ICBB's focus on continuing studies in the Middle East and preparing its graduates for work. In contrast, MA Jamillarohman focuses on continuous learning with merit scholarships, memorizing the Koran, and improving studies.

The Indonesian National Police obtains a mandate from laws tasked with maintaining security and order, protecting, serving, enforcing the law and protecting the public. One of these tasks is the prevention of theft with violence crimes by the Police Resort in the East OKU. In seeking answers to this problem, the author used empirical research methods, by conducting interviews with several parties, including the East OKU Police Resort and the perpetrators of violent crimes. The results of the study suggest that, first, the things that cause theft with violence crimes are caused by two factors, namely endogenous and exogenous factors, but the causative factors that often cause theft with violence crimes in the East OKU such as economic level, low education that causes unemployment, the environment, and lack of legal awareness, and supported by situations and conditions. The second is done by using penal and non-penal effort. Prevention with Penal efforts focuses more on the repressive nature, that is, actions carried out after the occurrence of crime. The study's findings revealed the effectiveness of criminal law and policy in preventing violent stealing.

Motorcycle security systems using fingerprint sensors are needed to avoid theft because of their high level of security compared to manual systems. This study underscores the importance of using this fingerprint sensor for motorcycle security. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much electricity is required in the motorcycle battery for this fingerprint security system. This system uses various components, such as the R503 fingerprint sensor, Arduino Uno, buzzer, 4-channel relay, ignition key, and motorcycle starter. Testing of this system is performed by inserting a finger in a wet, oily, dusty, or normal condition, and the result is that this sensor is capable of detecting the entire condition of the finger. Attempts to start a motorcycle with all ten fingers showed that the left index finger started faster under normal conditions, in 1.55 seconds compared to the manual method, which took 2.05 seconds longer. It also measures power consumption and calculates how long the battery can power this device. The result is that the battery can power this device for 180 hours without interruption

The Toraja people still maintain their cultural existence in the midst of advances in technology and science, they still carry out traditions from generation to generation called Ma'Nene. However, this culture, over time, has undergone various changes that are no longer original and have even begun to be abandoned by some of its supporting communities. Therefore, this paper seeks to reveal the background of the birth of the Ma'Nene culture, and the factors underlying this cultural change in the Toraja people. This study uses historical research methods, including heuristics (data collection process), criticism/verification (data analysis), interpretation (data interpretation), and historiography (data writing) into a complete story of events.Ma'Nene for the Toraja people is not just a traditional ceremony, but has a deep meaning. Along with the times, various changes have occurred in this Ma'Nene tradition. Various shifts in meaning so that gradually this ceremony is just carrying out the tradition. However, in this way the community continues to maintain the Ma'Nene ceremony because there are still many Toraja tribes who believe that if it is not carried out, it will bring disaster to their lives, for example, failed harvests. The Ma'Nene culture is the ancestral culture of the people who adhere to the Aluk Todolo belief, but the majority of them are already Christian, but some of them still carry out this Ma'Nene culture.

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) in Indonesia began to appear on March 2, 2020 and led to a number of fatalities. Spatial analysis is important to study the spatio-temporal trend of COVID-19 cases and fatalities to get a better understanding of the spread as well as to mitigate it. However, such a comprehensive study at national level is not to be seen in Indonesia with limited health infrastructure. This study aims to analyse the spatio-temporal distribution and clusters of COVID-19 in Indonesia for a year period. COVID-19 cases, as well as the fatalities as a consequence of this disease, were collected from the government through publicly shared data. A geographic information system (GIS) was used to manage and analyse the data on demographics, cases, and fatalities. The case fatality rate (CFR) was produced based on the number of cases and deaths per province weekly. The spatio-temporal data of both cases and fatalities were generated from the data. Finally, K-means clustering was employed to classify the cluster of Indonesia based on the proportion of vulnerable age groups, cases, and CFR. The results show that most of the provinces in Indonesia are affected by COVID-19, but the fatalities are not distributed evenly throughout the country. Based on the K-means clustering, two provinces are classified as moderate, namely the Province of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan. The Province of Jakarta is classified as high, because the vulnerable age group there is highly correlated with the number of cases and deaths.

The Pacitan Regency, located on the southern coast of Java adjacent to the Indian Ocean, is susceptible to tsunami disasters due to its geographical location. Therefore, mitigation efforts are essential, including the development of tsunami modeling and evacuation strategies. While previous studies have combined these aspects, simulations involving simultaneous evacuation of both coastal residents and tourists remain scarce. This research aims to simulate the evacuation of coastal residents and tourists during various tsunami scenarios resulting from seismic activities, with the goal of formulating an optimal evacuation model. The study employs a tsunami propagation model utilizing numerical methods based on Shallow Water Equations and HLOSS calculations in the Delft3D-Flow software to assess tsunami hazards. The results from the modeling indicated that the highest tsunami run-up height was recorded at maximum 8.78 meters. Various tsunami inundation models are generated using the software and combined as composites to produce comprehensive tsunami hazard maps. This integrated approach provides valuable insights into optimizing evacuation procedures for both local inhabitants and tourists, thereby enhancing disaster preparedness and response strategies in The Pacitan Coastal Areas of Indonesia.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The distribution of settlements in an area can form specific patterns according to the characteristics of the region. Settlement patterns have quantitative characteristics, supporting comparisons of distribution patterns over time and space. Several factors underlie the formation of settlement patterns, one of which is the Earth's surface morphology. This research aims to understand the settlement distribution patterns based on topography in the Balik Bukit sub-district and the relationship between settlement patterns and topographical factors. The research uses data analysis methods such as nearest neighbor analysis and descriptive analysis. The results show that settlement distribution patterns based on topography can be observed through variations in elevation and slope, resulting in clustered settlement patterns in low-lying areas to hilly terrain. The patterns based on slope also reveal both clustered and dispersed settlement patterns. The relationship between settlement patterns and topographical factors indicates clustered settlement patterns occur due to varied morphological conditions, including low-lying areas to high-relief terrain.

Environmental sciences ,GE1-350 - Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic began at the end of 2019 and quickly spread over the planet. It began in Jakarta, Indonesia, in the beginning of March 2020. Jakarta saw the greatest number of confirmed cases during the initial pandemic year due to its dense population. This has sparked worries about the responsiveness of the city’s healthcare systems and accessibility to healthcare, which is crucial for regulating the dynamics of illness and death. To address the need for hospital beds, a number of hospitals in Jakarta have been designated COVID-19 healthcare centers. Studies on healthcare accessibility are generally accessible, however there is a dearth of studies examining the effects of healthcare accessibility given the severity of the COVID-19 epidemic. In the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, this study intends to analyze the spatiotemporal dynamics of healthcare accessibility in relation to COVID-19 cases and its impact on case fatality rate (CFR). In order to compare the accessibility of COVID-19 healthcare with the monthly statistics of the COVID-19 infected population, two stages floating catchment area was adopted. Following the accessibility scores are analyzed using Product Moment Pearson correlation with the CFR to look at the relationship. This study’s findings indicate that there is only a weak negative link between healthcare accessibility and CFR, which is not statistically significant.

Abstract Covid-2019 first appeared in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, then quickly spread throughout the world and became a pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a fatal impact on public health. It is crucial to detect positive cases as early as possible to prevent the further spread of this virus. The most common test technique currently used to diagnose Covid -19 is the reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Chest radiological imaging such as chest X-ray has a vital role in the early diagnosis of this disease. Due to the low RT-PCR sensitivity of 60%-70%, symptoms can be detected by examining the patient's radiological images even if a negative result is obtained. Artificial intelligence techniques combined with radiological imaging can help diagnose Covid -19 more quickly and accurately. The classification process in this study consists of several stages, namely pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification. The feature extraction used is based on the first-order texture, and the classification used is a backpropagation neural network. The classification system in this study resulted in an average classification accuracy of 94.17% for the normal class and 77.5% for Covid -19. The highest accuracy results were obtained in the first scenario, with an accuracy of 88.8%. The average sensitivity value obtained in this study was 94.17% for the normal class and 76.67% for the Covid -19 class. The average specificity value obtained in this study was 76.67% for the normal class and 94.17% for the Covid -19 class.

Learning physics requires understanding the concept so that students can analyze the relationship between concepts to explain a natural phenomenon. However, students need clarification and help to understand and analyze physics concepts. So to train to understand, students need self-directed learning. This study aims to analyze students' conceptual understanding, learning independence, and the effect of student learning independence on students' conceptual understanding of straight motion in blended learning. The sample in this study was 22 students of class X. The method in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest group design. The instrument used in data collection is a test. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon test and the one-sample T-test. The study results show that blended learning can significantly improve students' conceptual comprehension abilities and learning independence in straight-motion material. It is because students can learn independently during the learning process, so they are more active, creative, and independent in understanding a concept. Learning with blended learning influences understanding concepts, and understanding concepts affects students' self-directed learning.
