Brick is the most commonly used material for building construction. In India it is common use to construct reinforced concrete buildings with unreinforced infill. Infill panels have been made of heavy rigid materials such as red bricks or concrete blocks. Now in India , infill materials such as light weight bricks (AAC) or hollow blocks are to be used as masonry infill material in RC buildings. On the performance of RC buildings, it has been recognized that infill materials have significant effect. This research work on comparison of seismic analysis and design of G+12 building using AAC (Autoclaved aerated concrete block ) and conventional bricks were analysed by under Time history analysis. Infill materials has been accepted influence the seismic performance considerably influence the in filled framed structures. Number of researchers were studied the behaviour of in filled RC frames analytically. Most of the research work carried out , paying attention on parameters such as the variation of distribution of masonry infill and the stiffness of frame elements.. Modelling of the structure is done by Etabs software. Lateral seismic force RC frame is carried out by using equivalent static method as per IS 1893(part 1) : 2002 for earthquake. In the present study is made to study the behavior of RC frame structure using conventional bricks, and light weight bricks (AAC) infill. The various results such as storey acceleration, storey displacement, storey drift, storey stiffness are compared to know the suitable infill material in seismic prone zones.

To investigate seismic behaviour of steel concrete composite multi-storey frame structures, based on researches of composite frame, a concrete encasement rectangular is suggested for the beam and filled steel tube for column. The preliminary demonstrate the excellent performance of the element, and reaffirm the applicability of composite beam-columns to the earthquake-resistant design of multi-storey structures. Then the mode analysis, the response spectrum and time history analysis under rare earthquakes are carried out. Result of ongoing experimental and numerical investigations are shown.

This paper presents the design of a highly integrated eight port broadband slot antenna. The proposed slot antenna has a smaller footprint (33 × 33 × 0.8 mm3) and is constructed using one-quarter of an annular slot ring antenna. The miniaturized antenna has a broadband impedance characteristics covering 3 GHz–9 GHz making the antenna suitable for broadcasting applications within the realized 6 GHz bandwidth. The unit cell antenna is made polarization diverse by exciting the unit cell antenna with two feeds. The antenna is then replicated to produce an eight-port MIMO antenna. Thus the proposed antenna provides both polarization and pattern diversity characteristics. The average peak gain of the proposed MIMO antenna is greater than 5.51 dBi and the efficiency is greater than 80% throughout the operating bandwidth. The prototype antenna is fabricated and the simulation results are validated. Furthermore, the MIMO parameters such as envelope correlation coefficient, diversity gain and mean effective gain are evaluated and presented.

In case of tall buildings stiffness is considered as the most important structural property than the other design criteria. Increase in stiffness of the structural elements leads to improved building stability. Provision of outrigger and belt system is considered to be one of the best ways to improve the structural stiffness in a building. This paper presents the concepts of outrigger system and different types of outrigger. Performance of tall buildings with different number of stories and different types of outrigger systems under wind and seismic forces done by various researchers are elaborately discussed in this paper. Review of various research works on the topic Tall buildings with outrigger belt systems is done and presented in this paper.

Purpose This paper aims to present the design of a compact vertically polarized four-element UWB antenna suitable for MIMO communications. Design/methodology/approach The unit cell antenna is constructed using a square ring radiator excited through a stepped impedance feed. The proposed antenna covers the Ultra-wideband (UWB) spectrum ranging from 2.2 to 12.3 GHz. The isolation between the unit cell antennas in the array is enhanced using a simple microstrip line resonator. The decoupling element is connected to the ground through a via. Findings The proposed scheme offers at least 16 dB improvement in the port-to-port coupling. Furthermore, the four-element antenna array is constructed using a specific interlocking scheme. The proposed antenna array’s Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) performance metrics are analyzed. Originality/value By suitably selecting the excitation port, directional radiation patterns can be realized. The combined radiation pattern covers 360 degrees. A prototype antenna array is fabricated, and the simulation results are verified using real-time experiments. The proposed antenna is a suitable candidate for shark fin housing in automotive communications.

In Recent decades evolution of information and communication technology has grown drastically due to the increased number of users every year. According to the statistics there are about 3.5 billion smart phone users worldwide (Statista 2019). Also, network coverage becomes an unavoidable factor. Thus, more number of base station has to be deployed to compensate for the demand. So, there is an increase in cost of energy and energy consumption, thus more maintenance and infrastructure of the network is required. Energy consumption of radioBase station in cellular network has to be concentrated more for efficient energy usage, since 70 % of energy is been utilized by radio base station in a cellular network. So Green "wireless communication is the efficient way to increase the energy efficiency so as to reduce the environmental impact. In this paper Time Reversal (TR) Technique is been proposed which makes its best effort in improving the base station energy efficiency. Time Reversal Technique that too communication-based exploits rich multipath propagation in both spatial and temporal focusing effects for high resolution. As an initial phase in this work we have contrasted TR transmission and direct transmission utilizing different modulation startegies such as Binary phase shift keying (BPSK)and Quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) and simulated the result to show that Bit error rate (BER) is low for same Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR)when this TR technique is used.

The retailer can easily complete the order in time, as there will be a streamlined check-in for the availability of ingredients. In this paper, let's exemplify the overall description and generalized soft-ware requirements specification of the entire systematic structure designed for use in different food courts. Our appli-cation will impart the restaurant employees to manage their online cuisines and keep track of all the orders placed by their consumers. Furthermore, the Customer can make Payment using the Existing Payment Gateways as well as they can go for blockchain-based Payment Methodologies. Eventually, this idea is projected to reduce the overheads of Payment gateways and improvise Data security in a precise manner.

For ultra-wideband (UWB) applications, a compact coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed fractal antenna is proposed in this article. The antenna is designed and analyzed by line fed partial ground CPW and full-grounded CPW. The performance of antenna was compared with transmission line fed, partial ground CPW and full-grounded CPW. The effect of parameters like loss of return, gain, SWR and directivity has been presented. Simulation results reveal that UWB has been achieved due to non-grounded CPW and multiband is achieved due to grounded CPW. There is a high level of enhancement in gain with the use of CPW. The simulation was carried out using the HFSS simulation tool and fabricated antenna scattering parameter was analyzed using a vector network analyzer.

In this paper, presenting a classifier algorithmic technique that integrates the K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) algorithm with the Naive Bayes algorithm. Calculation offloading innovation offers a feasible arrangement by offloading some calculation serious assignments of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm and the Naive Bayes algorithm to edges or distant mists that are furnished with adequate assets. However, the offloading process might lead to excessive delays and thus seriously affect the user experience. To address this significant issue, we first respect the average response time of multi-task parallel scheduling as our streamlining objective. Finally, the K-Nearest Neighbor and Naive Bayes algorithm based applications are proposed to solve the problem. Offloading a task means how the task is scheduled in Virtual Machine, first, the task is separated into types(small, medium, large and extra-large) after that it sees which Virtual Machine is available to load the task. Suppose, if the incoming task is too-large then we have to offload it by separating the task into subtask as 6 operations (split, combine, merge, demerge, promote and demote). To avoid the burden in the Virtual Machine, We analyze the above operations by using the K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm with the Naive Bayes algorithm and then scheduled in the Virtual Machine. We want to show that the K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm with the Naive Bayes algorithm shows better performance than Deep Neural Network(DNN).

Emotion detection has been carried out through various techniques such as EEG, image and video recording of facial expressions, body gestures, text-based emotion identification, and so on. In this work, a noncontact temperature sensor is used to detect the pattern of breathing for various emotions. The emotions that are considered for this work are happy, surprise, sad, and angry. The wavelet transform of the signal has been acquired, and the wavelet features are taken for classification. Twelve features are taken from the wavelet transformed signal. Feature reduction is done using principal component analysis. Four principal component analysis features are obtained. These PCA features are given to the classifiers which uses intelligent techniques. Both supervised and unsupervised learning methods have been employed to characterize the signals. KNN classifier has given the maximum accuracy of 91% for approximation and ensemble learning 91% for features from detail.

Recently, antenna design based on metamaterial has become more common due to their improved bandwidth and radiation. In addition, for inherent impedance matching coplanar wave guide (CPW) antennas are used. In this papers, a high gain CPW fed dual bands antenna employed with metamaterial is demonstrated. Two circular rings are used as a radiating layers in the design, and the split rings resonator (SRR) element is loaded on the ground level to improve antenna output. Measured-results achieved resonance at 4.2 GHz (2.2–6.2 GHz) and 8.2 GHz (7–10.5 GHz) with a gain of above 2 dBi throughout the operational bands and with a high gain of 7 dBi at 10 GHz.

This chapter introduces the blockchain concepts and their working principles. It covers in detail the notions of public ledgers, immutability, consensus algorithms existing in a blockchain. It also analyses the security flaws in IoT that need to be addressed to make them secure for crucial applications. The risks and challenges in integrating blockchain with IoT have been discussed. It also explains how to perform the feasibility analysis before performing the integration. The performance and security of the resulting integrated application are measured and traded so as to be practically feasible. This chapter focuses on various security limitations of IoT and usage of blockchain to overcome those issues and make them favourable for real-time applications.

In the past decade, the Machine Learning (ML) and Deep learning (DL) has produced much research interest in the society and attracted them. Now-a-days, the Internet and social life make a lead in most of their life but it has serious social threats. It is a challenging thing to protect the sensitive information, data network and the computers which are in unauthorized cyber-attacks. For protecting the data’s we need the cyber security. For these problems, the recent technologies of Deep learning and Machine Learning are integrated with the cyber-attacks to provide the solution for the problems. This paper gives a synopsis of utilizing deep learning to enhance the security of cyber world and various challenges in integrating deep learning into cyber security are analyzed.

Recycling of plastic wastes helps in reducing waste disposal problems and helps for the sustainable development of the country. Concrete with various % (0 to 55%) of waste plastic aggregates were tested for their mechanical strength properties. In the present work, plastic aggregates obtained as end product of a polymer recycle industry in the form of grains called as plastic aggregates are used as fine aggregate replacements in concrete. The addition of plastic aggregate as fine aggregate replacements results in increase in compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength and thus helps in production of sustainable concrete. It is observed that, the optimum % of replacement of sand with waste plastic waste is 40% and it is also found that upto55% of sand replacements with plastic wastes, mechanical strength values are comparable with that of the normal concrete.

Emotions can be recognized by utilizing Physiological parameters such as pulse rate, respiration rate, measure of perspiration, conductance of skin and blood pressure. One of the strategies to study emotions is to analyze the variations in respiration rate with respect to change in emotions. It is noted that the respiration rate increases with increase in anxiety and slows down when the person is calm. An extensive review of how respiration is related to emotions is carried out in this work. A non contact respiration rate sensor is designed to obtain the respiration rate with much ease and accuracy when compared to other conventional respiration rate sensors. An algorithm is developed which maps the respiration rate and the emotion of an individual.

Security is a key factor in today’s fast communicating world. Many cryptographic algorithms are tested and put into use efficiently. Random numbers are used in diverse forms like nonces, secret key, initialization vector, etc. They find place in encryption, digital signature, hashing algorithms. A deterministic algorithms takes an intial seed value as input and produces pseudo random numbers with falsely induced randomness. This research work extensively surveys large set of state-of-the-art PRNGs and categorizes them based on methodology used to produce them. We compared their statistical results obtained from various statistical test tools like NIST SP 800-22, TestU01. Finally, security analyses of various PRNGs were done quantitatively for their key space, key sensitivity, entropy, speed of bit generation, linear complexity. At last, we concluded the results with some future directions for researchers to carry out their research in improving the PRNGs.
