Genome-encoded antibiotic resistance (ARE) ATP-binding cassette (ABC) proteins of the F subfamily (ARE-ABCFs) mediate intrinsic resistance in diverse Gram-positive bacteria. The diversity of chromosomally-encoded ARE-ABCFs is far from being fully experimentally explored. Here we characterise phylogenetically diverse genome-encoded ABCFs from Actinomycetia (Ard1 from Streptomyces capreolus, producer of the nucleoside antibiotic A201A), Bacilli (VmlR2 from soil bacterium Neobacillus vireti) and Clostridia (CplR from Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium sporogenes and Clostridioides difficile). We demonstrate that Ard1 is a narrow spectrum ARE-ABCF that specifically mediates self-resistance against nucleoside antibiotics. The single-particle cryo-EM structure of a VmlR2-ribosome complex allows us to rationalise the resistance spectrum of this ARE-ABCF that is equipped with an unusually long antibiotic resistance determinant (ARD) subdomain. We show that CplR contributes to intrinsic pleuromutilin, lincosamide and streptogramin A resistance in Clostridioides, and demonstrate that C. difficile CplR (CDIF630_02847) synergises with the transposon-encoded 23S ribosomal RNA methyltransferase Erm to grant high levels of antibiotic resistance to the C. difficile 630 clinical isolate. Finally, assisted by uORF4u, our novel tool for detection of upstream open reading frames, we dissect the translational attenuation mechanism that controls the induction of cplR expression upon an antibiotic challenge.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most lethal types of cancer. Various microRNAs have been identified to play an important role in PDAC. The study aimed to explore the role of miR-429 in PDAC.The expression and prognostic value of miR-429 were first analyzed using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. Next, miR-429 expression was evaluated in the tissues and serum of 90 patients with PDAC. CCK8, SRB, wound healing and transwell assays were used to determine the effect of miR-429 on the proliferation, invasion, and migration of PDAC cells, respectively. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), correlation analysis, TargetScan, and miRDB databases were used to screen and identify the target genes of miR-429.The results revealed that the expression of miR-429 was downregulated in PDAC tissues and the serum compared with those in normal tissues and the serum of healthy volunteers, respectively. The decreased expression of miR-429 was significantly associated with shorter overall survival. The overexpression of miR-429 significantly inhibited the proliferation, invasion, and migration of PDAC cells. Potential target genes of miR-429 were identified using WGCNA and bioinformatics analysis, and the results showed that cadherin 11 (CDH11), inositol polyphosphate-4-phosphatase type I (INPP4A), laminin gamma 1 (LAMC1), low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 1 (LRP1), and quaking (QKI) were potential target genes of miR-429 in PDAC. Lower expression of CDH11 and QKI was associated with a more favorable prognosis in patients with PDAC. The overexpression of miR-429 could inhibit the expression of CDH11 and QKI. A nomogram model, involving miR-429, CDH11, and QKI, was subsequently constructed to determine their ability to accurately predict overall and disease-free survival in patients with PDAC.Taken together, miR-429 is involved in the development and progress of PDAC. MiR-429 could be recommended as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic indicator in PDAC diagnosis.

With the development of modern science and technology as well as the steady advancement of urbanization, intelligent networks have emerged and are replacing traditional networks with the identity of next-generation networks. And information security is one of the most important research directions in the intelligent network construction. In order to resist the threat of privacy leakage during the data transmission of intelligent terminal, an original four-layer fog computing system which is suitable for intelligent network data collection, transmission, and processing structure is established in the paper. With the help of the Paillier algorithm for encryption and fine-grained aggregation, the fine-grained aggregated data as coefficients are embed in the cloud node, and Horner’s rule is conformed for unary polynomials, which further aggregates to reduce the amount of transmitted data, so that communication overhead is reduced as well. Meanwhile, the resolvability of Horner’s rules allows EPSI to finally obtain the subregional information plain text, and it is summed up to obtain cloud-level information data. Therefore, the comparative analysis of simulation experiments with other algorithms proves that the rational optimization of the research content in this paper plays a higher security role.

Since antibiotic resistance is often associated with a fitness cost, bacteria employ multi-layered regulatory mechanisms to ensure that expression of resistance factors is restricted to times of antibiotic challenge. In Bacillus subtilis, the chromosomally-encoded ABCF ATPase VmlR confers resistance to pleuromutilin, lincosamide and type A streptogramin translation inhibitors. Here we show that vmlR expression is regulated by translation attenuation and transcription attenuation mechanisms. Antibiotic-induced ribosome stalling during translation of an upstream open reading frame in the vmlR leader region prevents formation of an anti-antiterminator structure, leading to the formation of an antiterminator structure that prevents intrinsic termination. Thus, transcription in the presence of antibiotic induces vmlR expression. We also show that NusG-dependent RNA polymerase pausing in the vmlR leader prevents leaky expression in the absence of antibiotic. Furthermore, we demonstrate that induction of VmlR expression by compromised protein synthesis does not require the ability of VmlR to rescue the translational defect, as exemplified by constitutive induction of VmlR by ribosome assembly defects. Rather, the specificity of induction is determined by the antibiotic's ability to stall the ribosome on the regulatory open reading frame located within the vmlR leader. Finally, we demonstrate the involvement of (p)ppGpp-mediated signalling in antibiotic-induced VmlR expression.

N-Nitroso-containing natural products are bioactive metabolites with antibacterial and anticancer properties. In particular, compounds containing the diazeniumdiolate (N-nitrosohydroxylamine) group display a wide range of bioactivities ranging from cytotoxicity to metal chelation. Despite the importance of this structural motif, knowledge of its biosynthesis is limited. Herein we describe the discovery of a biosynthetic gene cluster in Streptomyces alanosinicus ATCC 15710 responsible for producing the diazeniumdiolate natural product l-alanosine. Gene disruption and stable isotope feeding experiments identified essential biosynthetic genes and revealed the source of the N-nitroso group. Additional biochemical characterization of the biosynthetic enzymes revealed that the non-proteinogenic amino acid l-2,3-diaminopropionic acid (l-Dap) is synthesized and loaded onto a free-standing peptidyl carrier protein (PCP) domain in l-alanosine biosynthesis, which we propose may be a mechanism of handling unstable intermediates generated en route to the diazeniumdiolate. The creep mechanisms of Sn and Sn-1.8Ag along specific orientations are investigated by the constant-strain-rate nanoindentation method. Due to the anisotropy of Sn, the mechanical behaviors could be very different along different crystal orientations. For microelectronic applications, Ag is often added to Sn to increase its strength. Data from creep test show that Ag addition increases the stress exponent by 3, which indicates that the rupture time could be extended by Ag addition. Moreover, the creep rate of Sn (100) grain is lower than that of Sn (001) grain in a low stress regime, namely, that [100] in Sn would have better creep resistance for usual applications. After indentation, transmission electron images of Sn samples show that the slip systems are $$ (1\bar{1}0) $$ $$ [11\bar{1}] $$ in (100) grain and (101) $$ [1\bar{1}\bar{1}] $$ in (001) grain. Lastly, Sn-1.8Ag has better performance along [100] in creep resistance due to greater hindrance of Ag atoms on dislocation motion and its critical threshold stress.

Anthracnose is one of the most common diseases in strawberry plants. Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is the major cause of anthracnose in China, including Zhejiang Province. Early, specific, reliable, and time-saving detection is urgently needed to prevent the further spread of C. gloeosporioides, guiding farmers to utilize chemicals to control anthracnose. In this study, we showed that the high resistance to pyraclostrobin, caused by a point mutation at codon 143 (GGT→GCT) in the cytochrome b gene of C. gloeosporioides was prevalent in the strawberry growing regions, and we developed a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay as a detection method. Primer sets S0 and S4 could be used to specifically detect C. gloeosporioides isolates and the G143A mutations, respectively. A detection limit of 10−2 ng (10 pg), which is at least 10-fold more sensitive than conventional polymerase chain reaction, was achieved by the LAMP assay. Here, we utilized lateral-flow devices (LFDs), nitrocellulose membranes that can absorb nucleic acids, to acquire the total genomic DNA of strawberry plants within 2 min. The LFD membranes were used as DNA templates for the LAMP assays to accurately detect strawberry plants infected with C. gloeosporioides. This diagnostic method for strawberry anthracnose was accomplished within 1 h, including the sample preparation and LAMP assays. Collectively, we developed a sensitive and practical method for monitoring C. gloeosporioides and its quinone outside inhibitor–resistant mutants. The LAMP assay for detection of C. gloeosporioides in strawberry plants has great potential for rapid strawberry anthracnose surveillance and will provide farmers with advice on preventing C gloeosporioides at the early stages of strawberry development.

OBJECTIVE: To construct a preoperative evaluation system for partial nephrectomy using CT three-dimensional visualization technology and to explore its practical value. METHODS: The clinical data of the patients who underwent partial nephrectomy for renal tumors in Department of Urology, Peking University First Hospital were collected retrospectively. At the same time, the homogenized standard data of patients who underwent partial nephrectomy for renal tumors were collected in 16 clinical centers in China. The CT three-dimensional visualization system was applied (IPS system, Yorktal) to evaluate tumor anatomy, blood supply, perirenal fat and other information. The parameters were summarized to build a three-dimensional nephrometry system, on the basis of which virtual surgery design and intraoperative navigation were completed. RESULTS: A three-dimensional visualization image was established based on the enhanced CT urography. The nephrometry system included the longest diameter and volume of the tumor, proportion volume of tumor invading the parenchyma, maximum depth of the tumor invading the parenchyma, contact surface area, flatness of the tumor surface, renal segment where the tumor was located, vascular variation, and perirenal fat. The average two-dimensional diameter of the tumor was (2.78±1.43) cm, the average three-dimensional maximum diameter was (3.09±1.35) cm, and the average postoperative pathological size was (3.01±1.38) cm. The maximum tumor diameter in the three-dimensional image was significantly related to the prolonged renal artery clamping time and intra-operative blood loss (r=0.502, P=0.020; r=0.403, P=0.046). The three-dimensional and pathological tumor volume were (25.7±48.4) cm(3) and (33.0±36.4) cm(3), respectively (P=0.229). The tumor volume was significantly related to the intraoperative blood loss (r=0.660, P < 0.001). The proportion volume of the tumor invading into renal parenchyma was significantly related to the prolongation of renal artery clamping and the occurrence of postoperative complications (r=0.410, P=0.041; r=0.587, P=0.005). The tumor contact surface area and the presence of vascular variation did not show correlation with the perioperative data and postoperative complications. While the preoperative evaluation was completed, the reconstructed three-dimensional image could be zoomed, rotated, combined display, color adjustment, transparency, and simulated cutting on the Touch Viewer system. The process generally consisted of showing or hiding the tissue, adjusting the transparency of the interested area, rotating and zooming the image to match the position of the surgical patient. Together, these functions met the requirements of preoperative virtual surgery plan and intraoperative auxiliary navigation. CONCLUSION: Three-dimensional images can provide a more intuitive anatomical structure. The CT three-dimensional visua-lization system clearly displays tumor anatomical parameters, blood supply and perirenal fat. The three-dimensional nephrometry system for renal tumors can help predict the difficulty of partial nephrectomy and perioperative complications. Importing the reconstructed three-dimensional visualization image into the specified program or robot operating system can complete virtual surgery and intraoperative navigation, helping the surgeon to better grasp the surgical process. The indexes included in the nephrometry system and the score weights of each index need to be confirmed and perfected by multi-center study with large samples.

Semisynthetic modifications are typically of limited scope within polyfunctional antibiotics, usually increase molecular weight, and seldom permit modifications of the underlying scaffold. When properly designed, fully synthetic routes can easily address these shortcomings2. Here we report the structure-guided design and component-based synthesis of a rigid oxepanoproline scaffold which, when linked to the aminooctose residue of clindamycin, produces an antibiotic of exceptional potency and spectrum of activity, which we name iboxamycin. Iboxamycin is effective against ESKAPE pathogens including strains expressing Erm and Cfr ribosomal RNA methyltransferase enzymes, products of genes that confer resistance to all clinically relevant antibiotics targeting the large ribosomal subunit, namely macrolides, lincosamides, phenicols, oxazolidinones, pleuromutilins and streptogramins. X-ray crystallographic studies of iboxamycin in complex with the native bacterial ribosome, as well as with the Erm-methylated ribosome, uncover the structural basis for this enhanced activity, including a displacement of the $${\text{m}}_{2}^{6}\text{A}2058$$ nucleotide upon antibiotic binding. Iboxamycin is orally bioavailable, safe and effective in treating both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial infections in mice, attesting to the capacity for chemical synthesis to provide new antibiotics in an era of increasing resistance. Structure-guided design and component-based synthesis are used to produce iboxamycin, a novel ribosome-binding antibiotic with potent activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

目的 评价MIPSS70-plus预后积分系统对中国原发性骨髓纤维化（PMF）患者的预后评估价值。 方法 回顾性分析113例PMF患者的临床资料，应用Log-rank和COX回归模型进行预后相关因素分析；应用似然比检验比较MIPSS70-plus和动态国际预后积分系统（DIPSS）的预后评估效能。 结果 113例PMF患者中男71例，女42例，中位年龄55（20～70）岁。依据MIPSS70-plus染色体核型分组标准，染色体核型预后良好组90例（79.6%），预后不良组23例（20.4%）。二代测序基因突变检测结果示，JAK2V617F突变63例（55.8%），CALR外显子9突变20例（17.7%）（其中1型CALR突变15例，2型CALR突变5例），MPLW515突变5例（4.4%），25例（22.1%）未检测到JAK2、MPL和CALR基因突变（三阴性）。高分子风险（HMR）突变检出率依次为ASXL1突变44例（38.9%）、SRSF2突变8例（7.1%）、IDH1/2突变5例（4.4%）、EZH2突变4例（3.5%）；51例患者（45.1%）有1种以上高危基因突变。MIPSS70-plus预后积分低危组、中危组、高危组、极高危组分别为28例（26.7%）、20例（19.0%）、41例（39.0%）、16例（15.3%），2年预期总生存率分别为100%、89.7%（95%CI 76.2%～100.0%）、64.8%（95%CI 47.0%～82.6%）、35.0%（95%CI 10.3%～59.7%）（P

The traditional strategy for transparent conducting oxides (TCOs) follows the path of chemical design by increasing carrier concentrations in insulators through deliberate doping to coordinate the exclusive properties of electrical conductivity with optical transparency. Despite the success of n-type TCOs, the developed p-type TCOs based on chemical design exhibit much lower performance than the n-type counterparts primarily constrained by the hole doping trouble. Recently, the correlated metal of a V2O3 thin film has been reported as high-performance p-type TCOs with high hole concentration (>1022 cm−3). In this paper, we propose an alternative approach of compressive strain in V2O3 thin films toward further increasing the carrier concentration and, consequently, enhancing the performance of p-type TCOs. The compressive strain of the V2O3 thin film is realized by the lattice mismatch between V2O3 and Al2O3. Interestingly, carrier concentrations in strained V2O3 thin films can be increased by several times exceeding 1023 cm−3, which directly correlates with the increase (decrease) in [Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]) orbital occupation as verified by the Raman spectrum. Meanwhile, the screened plasma energy of a strained V2O3 thin film shifts to ∼1.6 eV, which is less than 1.75 eV to assure the opening of the transparency window in the visible region. As a result, strained V2O3 thin films exhibit enhanced performance as p-type TCOs with relatively high figure of merit. These results indicate that the structural modification can open up an effective approach for increasing the carrier concentration and enhancing the performance of p-type TCOs.

OBJECTIVE: To detect the ectodysplasin A (EDA) gene mutation in patients with hypohidro-tic ectodermal dysplasia (HED), and to analyze the distribution pattern of missing permanent teeth and the systemic manifestation of HED patients with EDA gene mutation. METHODS: Twelve HED families were enrolled from clinic for genetic history collection, systemic physical examination and oral examination. Peripheral blood or saliva samples were collected from the probands and the family members to extract genomic DNA. PCR amplification and Sanger sequencing were utilized to detect the EDA gene variations, which were compared with the normal sequence (NM_001399.5). The functional impact of EDA gene variants was then evaluated by functional prediction of mutation, conservation analysis and protein structure prediction. The pathogenicity of each EDA gene variation was assessed according to the stan-dards and guidelines of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG). The systemic phenotype and missing permanent tooth sites of HED patients with EDA gene mutations were summarized, and the missing rate of each tooth position was analyzed and compared. RESULTS: Eight out of twelve HED families were identified to carry EDA gene mutations, including: c.164T>C(p.Leu55Pro); c.457C>T (p.Arg153Cys); c.466C>T(p.Arg156Cys); c. 584G>A(p.Gly195Glu); c.619delG(p.Gly207Profs*73); c.673C>T(p.Pro225Ser); c.676C>T(p.Gln226*) and c.905T>G(p.Phe302Cys). Among them, c.164T>C(p.Leu55Pro); c.619delG(p.Gly207Profs*73); c.673C>T(p.Pro225Ser); c.676C>T(p.Gln226*) and c.905T>G(p.Phe302Cys) were novel mutations. The HED patients with EDA gene mutations in this study were all male. Our results showed that the average number of missing permanent teeth was 13.86±4.49, the average number of missing permanent teeth in the upper jaw was 13.14±5.76, the missing rate was 73.02%. And in the lower jaw, the average number of missing permanent teeth was 14.57±3.05, the missing rate was 80.95%. There was no significant difference in the number of missing teeth between the left and right sides of the permanent dentition (P>0.05). Specifi-cally, the maxillary lateral incisors, the maxillary second premolars and the mandibular lateral incisors were more likely to be missing, while the maxillary central incisors, the maxillary and mandibular first molars had higher possibility of persistence. CONCLUSION: This study detected novel EDA gene pathogenic variants and summarized the distribution pattern of missing permanent teeth of HED patients, thus enriched the variation and phenotype spectrum of EDA gene, and provided new clinical evidence for genetic diagnosis and prenatal consultation.

Based on the real-time health monitoring system, the wind field changes and cable vibration at Jintang Bridge site were continuously observed by using a three-dimensional supersonic anemometer, propeller anemometers, and acceleration sensors on cable. The work presented in this paper focuses on the characteristics of wind speed and wind direction, turbulence intensity and power spectral density of fluctuating wind during typhoon Canhong are analyzed. In addition, the acceleration time history data are decomposed and recomposed in different frequency bands based on wavelet multi-scale analysis, and the characteristics of wind field variation and frequency band distribution of wind-induced cable vibration energy are obtained. The results show that there is a strong correlation between turbulence intensity along wind direction and across wind direction. The root mean square acceleration of cables during typhoon landfall is more than 5 times of normal, and vibration energy is mainly distributed in high frequency band.

METHODS: Overall 14 patients with prostatic stromal tumor of uncertain malignant potential were treated from October 2008 to April 2020, the patient age ranged from 27 to 78 years (mean 54 years). The disease duration was 1 to 180 months (mean duration of 46 months). The clinical manifestations mainly included urinary obstructive symptoms and urethral irritating symptoms. The tumors were located in the peripheral zone or the transition zone. Digital rectum examination indicated prostatic tumor. Serum prostatic specific antigen level was always normal or elevated. Transrectal ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging indicated prostatic tumor. Magnetic resonance imaging in showed large, round, well-defined masses, which were diffusely heterogeneous signal on T2 weighted imaging. Following the administration of intravenous contrast medium, the lesion had diffuse and heterogeneous enhancement. RESULTS: In the study, 3 cases underwent prostate biopsy, 2 cases underwent transurethral resection of the prostate, 9 cases underwent radical excision or transurethral resection of the prostate with definite diagnosis of pathologic features. Under the light microscope, the interstitial cells of stromal tumor of uncertain malignant potential were overgrowth and fusiform cells showed some degree of pleomorphism, nuclei with few mitotic figures, and necrosis was not often seen. Immunohistochemical staining showed that prostate specific antigen was negative, while vimentin was positive in the tumor tissue, CD34, progesterone receptor and smooth muscle actin were positive in the majority, and Ki67 positive index was 1%-20% (mean 6%). Twelve cases were followed-up, and the time of survival varied from 10 to 96 months (mean 65 months), two cases were lost to the follow-up, one case died of disease at the end of 10 months, nine cases were free of disease recurrence after surgery, two cases underwent more transurethral resection of the prostate due to local recurrence. CONCLUSION: STUMP is a very rare tumor of the specialized prostatic stroma with an unpredictable clinical behavior. The clinical manifestations, transrectal ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging are valuable for the diagnosis of prostatic stromal tumor of uncertain malignant potential. Its definite diagnosis depends on pathological examination. Up to now, early surgery and combined therapy are effective treatments for prostatic stromal tumor of uncertain malignant potential.

To investigate the effect of circular RNA circ-100338 on angiogenesis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) cells after hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) and its molecular mechanism.We evaluated the role of circ-100338 in coronary artery endothelial cells using human coronary endothelial cells (HCAEC). Then, we verified the function of circ-100338 in HUVEC cells through cell counting kit-8 (CCK8), scratch test, Tube forming experiment, 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) staining. Dual-Luciferase reporter gene experiment and RNA Pull-Down experiments were used to detect the binding effect of circ-100338 and miR-200a-3p, miR-200a-3p and FUS.QRT-PCR results showed that the expression of circ-100338 decreased in HCAEC after H/R treatment. Overexpression of circ-100338 promotes angiogenesis. The Dual-Luciferase reporter gene assay and RNA pull-down assay consistently indicated the specific binding effect between circ-100338 and miR-200a-3p, miR-200a-3p and FUS, and circ-100338 promoted the angiogenesis phenotype in HUVEC cells.CircRNA-100338 may inhibit the function of miRNA-200a-3p by combining with miRNA-200a-3p, and then miRNA-200a-3p plays a role in regulating FUS, thereby regulating the state of angiogenesis.

Malformations of crustaceans have been observed in their natural habitats as well as in laboratory studies. Two patterns of morphological abnormalities have been recorded in species of the brine shrimp genus Artemia, including a gynandromorphic pattern and a specimen with three compound eyes. Here we report a hitherto unknown pattern of morphological deformation, viz., a tumour-like abnormality that occurred in the telson skeleton of a specimen of Artemia from China.

To verify that miR-92b inhibits proliferation and invasion of lung cancer by targeting EZH2.The expression levels of miR-92b and EZH2 in human bronchial epithelial cell line BEAS-2B and human lung cancer cell line (A549, NCI-H23, NCI-H358, NCI-H1975, PC-9) were detected, and miR-92b mimic, sh-EZH2 expression vector, and plasmid blank vector (blank group) were constructed. Blank group, miR-92b mimic, miR-92b mimic+sh-EZH2 group (combined group) were set up, MTT and transwell were used to detect the proliferation and invasion ability of A549 and NCI-H23 cells, and fluorescein report verified the regulatory relationship of miR-92b to EZH2.The expression level of miR-92b in A549, NCI-H23, NCI-H358, NCI-H1975, and PC-9 cells was lower than that in BEAS-2B cells (p0.05). The expression level of EZH2 was higher than that of BEAS-2B cells (p0.05). A549 and NCI-H23 cells were selected for transfection. After that, the expression level of miR-92 in miR-92b mimic, combined group A549 and NCI-H23 cells was higher than that in blank group (p0.05), and miR-92b mimic had no difference with joint group (p0.05). The expression level of EZH2 in cells of miR-92b mimic, blank group A549, and NCI-H23 was lower than that of combined group (p0.05), and miR-92b mimic was lower than that of blank group (p0.05). After the overexpression of miR-92b, pmirGLO-EZH2-3'UT Wt luciferase activity decreased significantly (p0.05) but had no effect on pmirGLO-EZH2-3'UTR Mut Luciferase activity (p0.05). Cell proliferation ability and invasion ability of A549 cells and NCI-H23 cells in miR-92b mimic group were lower than those in blank group (p0.05), while those in combined group were higher than those in miR-92b mimic group (p0.05).MiR-92b inhibits proliferation and invasion of lung cancer cells through targeted inhibition of EZH2, which is a potential target for future treatment of lung cancer.

In daily life, there are often simple but fatal mistakes. Such as when go driving to someplace, after closing the vehicle door with a traditional vehicle key which is so easily damaged, missed, or lost, then becomes a significant issue. To overcome this problem, a modern system in opening vehicle door locks with a face recognition system using a smartphone was introduced. This face recognition software use combined with a D1 mini control system to open the control lock in the smartphone. The research method is principal component analysis (PCA), which is mainly divided into two steps, training, and recognition, respectively. In the research of face recognition, also used PCA to find important parameters, and use the eigenvalues and feature vectors of the oblique variance matrix of face features as value, and use this as a basis for recognition, then face recognition be successful. This research establishes a software and hardware vehicle door verification system. Using the phone to unlock the door, this research uses the vehicle door to display, when face recognition successful, the door lock will be unlocked then the user can open the door. Using the face recognition system to open the door has higher security, and without bringing the key to go out, it is making life more convenient.
