The euliine genera Sagittranstilla Razowski & Becker, 1999 and Proathorybia Razowski, 1997 are discussed. Teapeulia gen. n., Thypsaenia gen. n., Thypsaenia psaenythia sp. n., Sagittranstilla oios sp. n., Teapeulia banhadana sp. n., Teapeulia sepulturae sp. n. and Teapeulia albicota sp. n. are described as new. The new combinations Tortrix minima Walsingham, 1914 and Proathorybia unisignata Razowski & Pelz, 2003 are transferred to Teapeulia. Proathorybia chlidonias Razowski, 1999, Proathorybia meyi Razowski, 2001 are transferred to Teapeulia and Sagittranstilla, respectively. An adult of Proathorybia zonalis Razowski & Becker, 2000 is illustrated.

The new euliine genus Direconta and its five new Brazilian species (D. gnesia sp. n., D. recondita sp. n., D. barrasiana sp. n., D. curitibana sp. n., and D. lentigana sp. n.) are described and illustrated.

Comparative diagnoses, redescriptions, and remarks are presented on the genera of the tribe Grapholitini. Original references, type species, synonyms, numbers of known species, and zoogeographic regions are provided.

One genus, Unaica gen. n., and seven species (Unaica plumbea sp. n., Chamelania acaena sp. n., Chamelania celyphana sp. n., Chamelania corumbae sp. n., Chamelania lutea sp. n., Chamelania quasirufa sp. n., Chamelania belemana sp. n.) are described and illustrated. Chamelania is redescribed and two of its species, Chamelania jaliscana and Chamelania auricoma, are listed. Lophoderus xanthophilanus WALKER, 1863 is transferred to Chamelania. Notes on Odonthalitus RAZOWSKI, 1991 and an illustration of the male genitalia of O. poas BROWN, 2000 are included.

Eight species are described as new: Eumarozia borbae sp. n., Tsinilla diversa sp. n., Hedya pocadia sp. n., H. heptera sp. n., H. alagoasia sp. n., H. baezae sp. n., Neopotamia oblita sp. n., and N. niveicollis sp. n. P. translucens is transferred from Eucosma and Pseudexentera dolicha Razowski & Wojtusiak, 2011 to Crocidosema.

Three genera (Brasilnotia gen. n., Malinova gen. n., Tiburica gen. n.) and three species (Brasilnotia planaltinana sp. n., Malinova novaelimae sp. n., Tiburica paranae sp. n.) from Brazil are described and illustrated.

Seven species of Omiostola are recorded from Brazil, Ecuador and Cuba, four of which (O. longimacula, O. paragerda, O. manca, O. macella) are described as new. An alphabetical list of the known species of the genus is provided. O. macrotrachela is synonymized with O. hemeropis. Episimus melanaspis and E. varablancana are transferred to Omiostola.

Forty-seven species are discussed. One new genus (Daedaluncus gen. n.) and 15 new species (Adoxophyes vitilevu sp. n., Adoxophyes niuwudi sp. n., Atriscripta strigana sp. n., Helictophanes saccifera sp. n., Loboschiza oxybela sp. n., Epinotia prepuncus sp. n., Daedaluncus fijiensis sp. n., Coenobiodes vitiae sp. n., Tritopterna rakiraki sp. n., Spilosoma oligospina sp. n., Strepsicrates rotundata sp. n., Eccoptocera platamon sp. n., Herpystis sunia sp. n., Herpystis spinoa sp. n., Cryptophlebia ferrugulla sp. n.) are described and illustrated.

Ten species of Labidosa are discussed; three of them (L. fontainei sp. n., L. angolana sp. n., L. spania sp. n.) are newly described; five species are transferred to Labidosa from other genera. New combinations: the following three species, L. cerioschema, L. cyanombra and L. myriodesma are transferred from Homona and L. symmetra from Cacoecia to Labidosa.

The genus Satronia is redescribed and discussed. Distributional data on 11 species are given; 9 new species (Satronia pentha sp. n., S. priva sp. n., S. catharma sp. n., S. sesops sp. n., S. mantissa sp. n., S. lita sp. n., S. laepha sp. n., S. sinuata sp. n., S. pheidologeton sp. n.) are described, and references to papers on Neotropical Grapholitini are provided.

Six genera – Lobesia, Ophiorrhabda, Megalota, Eumarozia, Zomaria and Alexiloga – are treated, and the following species are described as new: Lobesia uncata sp. n., Eumarozia atrotincta sp. n., and Zomaria dyscrita sp. n. Alexiloga defluxana is removed from the synonymy of A. rubiginosana and four species are redescribed. Statherotis hyeroglypha is transferred to Ophiorrhabda.

One genus – Auchenancylis gen. n. – and the following species are described as new: Cryptaspasma sanvito sp. n., Pseudancylis sphensaccula sp. n., Aglaopollex niveofascia sp. n., Aglaopollex gana sp. n., Auchenancylis macrauchenia sp. n. Hemimene sevocata is transferred to Auchancylis.

A revision of Mesochariodes is provided with a list of known species and characteristics of Proteoteras and Acroclita. Three species are described as new: Mesochariodes armifera sp. n., M. obrimospina sp. n., M. ochyrosetaria sp. n. Male genitalia of M. tablonica are redescribed.

We used a 227-bp fragment of the mitochondrial gene cytochrome oxidase I (DNA “barcode”) in conjunction with morphological data to study specimens of the Neotropical genus Orthocomotis Dognin, 1906, acquired from natural history collections. We examined over 20 species of Orthocomotis from 17 localities in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. The analysis identified 32 haplotypes among the 62 specimens and found no haplotypes shared among species. The molecular study revealed not only the usefulness of short COI sequences in discriminating among Orthocomotis species but also showed distinctness of four clusters which correspond to those based on morphological (genitalia) characters. Moreover, the molecular results suggest the occurrence of rapid speciation in Orthocomotis. We hypothesize that this may be linked to the great biodiversity of potential host plants in Neotropical ecosystems.

Ripe fruits of Chytranthus obliquinervis were sampled from a tree in Buda Forest in coastal Kenya. Four species of insects were reared from the fruits, two species of Tephritidae, an undescribed species of gelechiid moth, and a new species of tortricid moth, Grapholita chytranthusi Razowski, sp. n., described herein. No parasitoids were reared. Notes on the biology, distribution, and conservation status of the host and its pests are included.

Three genera - Phloerampha, Goditha and Ranapoaca - are treated, and the following species are described as new: Phloerampha involuta sp. n., Goditha latebrata sp. n., G. plesia sp. n., G. prepocydia sp. n., Ranapoaca rostellaria sp. n., R. memata sp. n. and R. liota sp. n. Laspeyresia sporosema MEYRICK is transferred to Goditha.

Two genera and seven species of Afrotropical Tortricidae are discussed. Two genera, Acailandica and Ipamerica, and five species (Acailandica acailandiae, A. maja, A. hilara, A. cacaulandiae, Ipamerica auctuncus) are described as new. Species of Acailandica are brightly colored (= telochromatic), whereas those of Ipamerica are cryptic. Carpocapsa comptana Walker, Grapholitha subtilana Zeller, and Laspeyresia pyrozona Meyrick are transferred to Acailandica, resulting in the following new combinations: Acailandica comptana (Walker), A. subtilana (Zeller), and A. pyrozona (Meyrick).

Neotropical members of four genera of Grapholitini are treated: Ethelgoda HEINRICH, Ofatulena HEINRICH, Cyanocydia gen. n., and Metacydia gen. n. Five species are described as new: Ethelgoda escarcegae sp. n., E. anfracta sp. n., E. stynophra sp. n., Ofatulenalathetica sp. n., and Metacydia polyseta sp. n.

Five tortricines from Malaysia and New Caledonia (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Aoupinieta gen. n. and Homalernis mankoboi sp. n., H. jeriau sp. n., Peraglyphis silvana sp. n., Aoupinieta hollowayi sp. n., A. novaecaledoniae sp. n. are described as new. Arotrophora crustata Meyrick is transferred to Peraglyphis Common. Peraglyphis is new to the Oriental region.

Tortricines in the fauna of Nepal (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Five species of Tortricini and one Polyorthini are reported from Nepal. Acleris ganesia, A. gothena and Sociosa nesima are described as new. The hitherto unknown female genitalia of A. monagma Diakonoff are described, and data on the external variation in some species are provided.

Revision of the Neotropical genus Tsinilla Heinrich (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Neotropical species of Tsinilla known to date are listed, and 14 species are discussed, five of which (T. basirufa sp. n., T. merana sp. n., T. rhopos sp. n., T. kilastra sp. n., T. roseonigra sp. n.) are described as new. Argyroploce impolita Meyrick and Olethreutes isopercna Meyrick are transferred to Tsinilla.

Records and descriptions of Neotropical Megalota Diakonoff (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Twelve species of Megalota are reported from the Neotropics; four of them (M. platanillana sp. n. from Mexico, M. belemana sp. n., M. lacertospina sp. n. and M. bahia sp. n. from Brazil) are described as new.

Systematics and distribution of Neotropical Microcorsini (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Distributional data on five species are provided; one species, Cryptaspasma montana sp. n. is described, and the hitherto unknown female genitalia of two other species are illustrated.

Some faunistic data on the known taxa from this country are included. The material examined is too scarce to draw any zoogeographic conclusion but there are some species common to Ethiopia and the Republic of South Africa, Mozambique and Uganda or are very closely related with them. Two Acleris Hübner, 1825 described in this paper are closely allied with the Afghan species.

Eriosocia Razowski and Brown, new genus, is described to accommodate Laspeyresia guttifera Meyrick, 1913 (type locality: Paraguay), resulting in the new combination Eriosocia guttifera (Meyrick). Several morphological features contradict its recent assignment to Cydia as well as Grapholitini, and a reassessment of characters suggests that the genus is best placed provisionally in Enarmoniini. Eriosocia is recorded from Central America (Costa Rica, Panama), the Caribbean (Dominica), and South America (Brazil, Colombia, French Guyana, Paraguay, and Venezuela). Larvae of Eriosocia have been reared on numerous occasions in Colombia and Panama from the fruit of Garcinia madruno (Kunth) Hammel (Clusiaceae).
