Abstrak: Kemampuan representasi matematis adalah kemampuan yang penting, karena itu banyak pembelajaran yang berusaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hal-hal apa saja yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Systematic Literature Review. Pencarian di jurnal terakreditasi nasional dan jurnal terindeks Scopus pada tahun 2016-2022 kemudian diseleksi secara bertahap dan sistematis menjadi 15 jurnal yang relevan dengan topik peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis dapat ditingkatkan melalui berbagai model, strategi, dan pendekatan di mana dalam pembelajaran harus dapat membuat siswa aktif, guru hanya berperan sebagai fasilitator, siswa belajar secara berkelompok, siswa mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya dan menemukan sendiri konsep matematika, serta guru membuat materi matematika berdasarkan hal-hal yang ada dalam kehidupan nyata. Berdasarkan artikel jurnal yang diteliti, penggunaan beberapa representasi juga memengaruhi peningkatan representasi matematis itu sendiri. Menggunakan beberapa representasi akan memunculkan hubungan antar representasi sehingga siswa pemahaman matematika siswa semakin baik. Kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan beberapa representasi juga menjadi hal yang penting agar guru dapat secara optimal mendukung siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika. Penggunaan media pembelajaran juga menunjang peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.. Abstract: This study aims to identify and describe what things can be used to improve mathematical representation skills. The method used in this research is the Systematic Literature Review method. Search in nationally accredited journals and Scopus indexed journals in 2016-2022 then selected gradually and systematically into 15 journals relevant to the topic of increasing mathematical representation skills. The results of this study indicate that the ability of mathematical representation can be improved through various models, strategies, and approaches in which learning must be able to make students active, the teacher only acts as a facilitator, students study in groups, students construct their knowledge and find their own mathematical concepts, and the teacher makes mathematical material based on things that exist in real life. Based on the journals studied, the use of multiple representations also affects the increase in the mathematical representation itself. Using multiple representations will bring up the relationship between representations so that students' understanding of mathematics is getting better. The ability of teachers to use multiple representations is also important so that teachers can optimally support students in solving mathematical problems. The use of learning media also supports the improvement of students' mathematical representation abilities.

AbstractThe ability to solve mathematical problems has been an interesting research topic for several decades. Intuition is considered a part of higher-level thinking that can help improve mathematical problem-solving abilities. Although many studies have been conducted on mathematical problem-solving, research on intuition as a bridge in mathematical problem-solving is still limited. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview of intuitive thinking in mathematics learning at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels through the following questions: What is the role of intuitive thinking in solving mathematical problems? What is the process of intuitive thinking in solving mathematical problems? What steps are taken to improve mathematical problem-solving through intuitive thinking? What are the implications of intuitive thinking for mathematical learning? Additionally, this research reviews the literature related to intuition in mathematical problem-solving. The protocol used in this SLR is PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes). The results show that intuitive thinking can help improve mathematical problem-solving for topics such as number, geometry, algebra, functions, and calculus. The process of intuitive thinking is produced by 1students having high levels of confidence, 2justification not always being the same as an intuitive response, and 3students rejecting intuitive answers. This research can provide insights and input for educators, researchers, and education policymakers in developing better mathematics education. Future research can further explore intuition in mathematical problem-solving and develop effective learning models to improve mathematical problem-solving abilities through intuitive thinking.

Geometry is a part of mathematics that students must learn. Spatial ability as a basic ability that students must have to learn more geometry. The realistic mathematical approach provides horizontal processing towards formal understanding. The purpose of this study is to interpret the characteristics of students' spatial abilities during learninggeometry through a realistic mathematical approach in terms of APOS Theory. This research uses quantitative qualitative and descriptive methods. The focus of this research is to explore students' spatial abilities after learning geometry through a realistic approach in understanding geometry concepts reviewed from APOS (Action-Process-Object-Schema) Theory. To comply with the COVID-19 health protocol, the implementation of learning was carried out online with as many as 30 students in the Mathematics Education Program in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. This study also has exploratory characteristics. The researcher acts as a teacher as well as the main instrument in this study. Researchers use spatial ability test instruments to explore qualitative data. The test result data is used as the basis for determining the research subjects to be interviewed in depth to explore students' spatial abilities during geometry learning through a realistic mathematical approach. The subjects of this study were three students selected from three categories of test results, namely the high, medium and low groups of one person each. Interviews of subjects were conducted using whatsapp media via video call. These interviews are recorded to obtain complete and accurate data. Research data are analyzed through genetic decomposition analysis (description of their actions, objects, processes, schemes, and relationships that individuals have for concepts and principles in spatial geometry). The result of this study was that it was found that students had a mature scheme about the properties of building space. He was able to perform the tematization of objects about the diagonal of the plane and the diagonal of space can be represented in good mental activity, he was a student of the trance level. Inter students are able to carry out action-process-object-and schematic activities, but the embedding is incomplete. Intra students are able to do perceptions of space, but are unable to do interiorization and encapsulation so they fail to solve the given problem. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the spatial understanding of students who are taught through a realistic mathematical approach. There are three levels of students' spatial ability after learning geometry through a realistic mathematical approach. Those are the trance level, the inter level and the lowest intra level.

The ability to think creatively is the ability to generate new ideas, innovative solutions, and unconventional thoughts in response to a situation or problem. Creative thinking involves many aspects, including imagination, association of ideas, mental flexibility, and views that are different from the usual. Creative thinking needs to be grown in students because creative thinking is very important in learning which will greatly assist students in solving problems with various solutions. The use of appropriate learning model equipment can support the development of students' critical thinking skills. One effort that can be done is to use innovative teaching materials that combine various activities to develop students' creative thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of developing STEM-based teaching materials with a problem-based learning model on three-dimensional material, namely distance. This study uses the development method or the Research and Development method, namely 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) but is limited to the develop stage. The data analysis technique of this research uses descriptive analysis techniques both qualitatively and quantitatively. Data collection uses a feasibility validation sheet, readability and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the average score of the eligibility of teaching materials was 81.66% in the appropriate category, the average score of readability of teaching materials was 90% in the easyto-understand category, and the average student response score to teaching materials was 99% with very good criteria. Thus, from this assessment it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed are feasible to use, easy to understand, and have a good response from students. The suggestions put forward are that other teachers/researchers are expected to be able to carry out the same research but develop teaching materials with different materials or abilities.

This study aims to describe the profile of students' metacognitive skills in solving integral calculus problems seen from the aspects of planning, monitoring and evaluation metacognitive skills. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were 3rd semester students who had taken courses or were taking calculus II courses for the 2020/2021 academic year which were carried out using purposive sampling technique. In this study, the instrument used was a test to measure the ability in solving integral calculus problems in the form of essay questions, unstructured interview guidelines, documentation and observation. Data were analyzed in three stages, namely reduction, presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results in this study were students with high problem solving abilities had met the indicators of metacognitive skills, namely the planning, monitoring and evaluation stages. Students with moderate problem-solving abilities have only reached indicators of metacognitive skills, namely the planning and monitoring stages, but have not reached the evaluation stage, while students with low problem-solving abilities have not measured metacognitive skills indicators both at the planning, monitoring and evaluation stages. So that students with high problem solving abilities are more likely to have good metacognitive skills, because students with high problem solving abilities are well organized from planning, monitoring to the evaluation stage.

The l earning whi ch applies s ci entif ic approach emphasizes the process skill. This research aims (1) to find out the teacher’s perception and the implementation of scientific approach; towards the implementation of scientific; (2) to find out and (3) to analyze the implementation of scientific approach in the learning of mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences at primary school in Semarang in relation to the teacher’s perception towards the implementation of scientific approach in the learning of mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences at primary school in Semarang. The data of teacher’s perception is gained by using questionnaire, while the data of learning implementation is gained by using observation sheet. The results suggest that the average of teacher’s perception towards the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum is 84.52 (very good), while the average of the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum by the primary school teacher is 72.70 (good). Both of them are significantly different at α = 5%. Reinforcement is needed to strengthen the learning implementation in a form of assistance and motivation such that the implementation of learning can be as good as the teacher’s perception towards learning. The assistance can be done through KKG for elementary school and through MGMP for junior high school.

This study aimed to determine the 7th grade students’ mathematical connections ability through CMP learning models to achieve learning mastery; to know whether the 7th grade students’ mathematical connections ability through CMP learning model was better than CMP learning model without educational tools; to know the student's questioning-skill factors; and to know the description of the ability of mathematical connections viewed from the 7th grade students' questioning-skills through the CMP learning model. The research method used was mixed method of the concurrent embedded model. The population in this research were all 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Semarang. The sample of research was taken from 7D and 7F classes. Subjects of this study were as many as 6 subjects with each of 2 subjects chosen from each category of questioning-skills. The results of the research showed that students' mathematical connection ability through the educational tools in CMP model learning achieved learning mastery; students' mathematical connection ability through CMP learning model was better than CMP learning model without the educational tools; the factors that influenced the students' questioning-skill were willingness within students, the use of educational tools, project-based learning/problem, and the response given by the teacher when students asked; and students' mathematical connection ability through CMP learning model viewed from questioning-skills indicated that students with high questioning-skill had best mathematical connection ability, followed by students with medium questioning-skill, and low questioning-skill.

Youth is the backbone of the future of development. Indonesia's youth potential spread from Sabang to Merauke needs integrated management. This is what underlies the Government, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), proclaiming a program of Regency /City Fit for Yotuh which is outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Youth and Sports No. 11 of 2017. The city of Semarang as one of the major cities in Central Java is still in the progress of development, is expected to participate in becoming one of the Cities fit for Youth in Indonesia. Therefore this research was conducted to study the feasibility of Semarang as a City Fit for Youth. This study uses a mixed method, which combines quantitative and qualitative methods. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by field surveys using data collection methods directly on data sources, through field surveys and interviews. While secondary data is obtained from documents or data from an institution or agency. The results showed that youth activities in Semarang City consisting of youth awareness activities, youth empowerment and youth development were carried out in Semarang City. These activities are the result of the organization agencies (OPD), educational institutions and private companies that target youth, high school students, students and santri and involve various related institutions and are supported by funding from the APBN, APBD, BUMN, Foundation, Private and Communities. From the conditions of the implementation of activities and the availability of youth infrastructure, the City of Semarang was considered quite feasible to become one of the Youthful Cities in Indonesia.x

The purposes of this study were to obtain a description of learning quality on problem based learning to improve the mathematical representation ability of students grade X and to get description about mathematical representation ability of students grade X in mathematics learning on problem based learning. this study used qualitative method. Qualitative methods is procedure of study that produce descriptive data in the words or oral from people and behaviour that can be observed. The study was conducted at SMA 1 Bumiayu with the subject of this study is the students of X MIPA 6. The subject of this study are students and teacher. The students that chosen as a subject of the study were selected as many as 6 person.they are 2 person from upper group, 2 person from medium group and 2 person from lower group. Based on the study thet has been done, the result shows that (1) the quality of mathematical learning on problem based learning in good category, (2) mathematical representation ability of students in each groups is different. Words representation ability and mathematical expressions ability shows a uniform pattern. On the visual representation ability shows diverse pattern.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis ditinjau dari karakteristik cara berpikir peserta didik tipe Sekuensial Konkret (SK), Sekuensial Acak (SA), Acak Abstrak (AA), dan Acak Konkret (AK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Kunduran. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket karakteristik cara berpikir, tes ketuntasan materi kubus dan balok, tes kemampuan representasi matematis, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi kubus dan balok dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dan (2) kemampuan representasi matematis ditinjau dari karakteristik cara berpikir peserta didik adalah (a) peserta didik tipe SK mempunyai kemampuan representasi visual dan simbolik sangat baik dan kemampuan representasi verbal kurang sekali; (b) peserta didik tipe SA mempunyai kemampuan representasi visual dan simbolik sangat baik, dan kemampuan representasi verbal kurang sekali; (c) peserta didik tipe AA mempunyai kemampuan representasi visual dan simbolik baik dan kemampuan representasi verbal kurang sekali; dan (d) peserta didik tipe AK mempunyai kemampuan representasi visuali baik, kemampuan representasi simbolik cukup, dan kemampuan representasi verbal kurang sekali. This purpose of this research is to determine the students’s thoroughness of the study and describes mathematical representation ability viewed from students’s way of thinking characteristic Concrete Sequential, Abstract Sequential, Abstract Random, and Concrete Random types. The subjects of this research are students of 8th-C grade Junior High School 1 Kunduran. The methods of data collection of this research are questionnaires of way of thinking characteristic, cubes and blocks completeness test, mathematical representation ability test, and interviews. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes of students on the cubes and blocks that implement learning with the scientific approach achieve mastery of classical and (2) the students’s mathematical representation ability with way of thinking characteristic are (a) the students with Concrete Sequential type have very good visual and symbolic representation ability and less verbal representation ability; (b) the students with Abstract Sequential type have very good visual and symbolic representation ability and less verbal representation ability; (c) the students with Abstract Random type have good visual and symbolic representation ability and less verbal representation ability; and (d) the students with Concrete Random type have good visual representation ability, enough symbolic representation ability, and less verbal representation ability.

The purpose of this research was to description mathematical understanding of concept ability in learning CTLbased on personality types. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects of this research consists of 8 students VII H grade in state Junior High School 1 Sumpiuh are two srudents for each personality types Artisan, Idealist, Guardian, and Rational. The techniques to collect data of this research are mathematical understanding of concept test and interviews. Test result and interviews are analyzed based on the mathematical understanding of concept ability indicator by Dirjen Dikdasmen Depdiknas regulation Number 506/C/PP/2004 date 11 November 2004. Data analysis was done with the steps as follows: reduction step, data presentation step, make conclusion step. The result of this research showed that: (1) The result of personality types in a class VII H of 32 students there 4 Artisan students, 15 Idealist student, 3 Guardian student, 9 Rational student, and 1 Artisan and Rational student; (2) Artisant subject tend to be good, competent K1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, but less competent K4. Idealist subject competent K1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Guardian subject competent K1, 2, 3, and 4, but less competent K5, 6, and 7. Rational subject competent K1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, but less competent K4.

This research aimed to test RME learning with an effective scientific approach to improving mathematical literacy and self-efficacy, obtaining an overview of the mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment results that has high, medium and low self-efficacy as well as student difficulties in learning RME with a scientific approach. This research using mix method concurrent embedded with the subject of research is students class VIII. The research begins with a mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment and self-efficacy inventory then performed RME learning in experimental class and conventional learning in control class. Quantitative analysis was conducted to test the effectiveness of learning and deepened with the interview as a qualitative analysis. Learning RME with a scientific approach effective is marked by the achievement of classical completeness, the proportion of students' mathematical literacy, self-efficacy and the difference in pre-post students’ mathematical literacy on RME learning better than conventional learning. The results of students’ mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment fit the criteria of self-efficacy students except for medium mathematical literacy that having high self-efficacy. Student difficulties in RME learning with the scientific approach are based on the results of mathematical literacy diagnostic assessment, namely language skills problem, the capacity to understand, create strategies, and create the algorithm.

Thisstudy was based on the results of learning innovation research conducted in Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Semarang State University. The expected goal is to develop or acquire a learning model mathematics course on ICT-based Operations Research. This study was done in order to utilize computer technology (laptop) that was shared by almost all students of the Department of Mathematics in order to reduce the difficulty of students to perform calculations that are many and complex.Research was conducted at the Laboratory of MathematicsUnneswhich also becomes the avenue of this subject. Implementation of learning by using the PBL approach (projectbased learning) based on ICT. The processed data was taken from the field (a real problem) which was further discussed and discussed in groups by utilizing the theory of operations research and facilities laptop and software that support it. The result of the discussion was presented in front of the class andeach step that has been done until the students reached their conclusion and interpretation. The results of the study concluded that (1) the form of the program to resolve the research operations problem was computer assisted program, and (2) the learning outcomes of operations research with project-based learning approach.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan profesional guru kelompok bermain (KB PAUD) sebagai khalayak sasaran dalam penguasaan pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya skor apersepsi dan posttest tentang konsep-konsep matematika dalam kegiatan PAUD. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu: (1) tahap awal persiapan (perijinan, materi kegiatan dan instrumen penilaian); (2) tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan kegiatan pemberdayaan pendidik PAUDdalam pembelajaran matematis untuk pengembangan kognitif anak usia dini di kabupaten Brebes; dan (3) tahap akhir adalah evaluasi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerimaan materi pelatihan yang diserap pada peserta.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan penguasaan materi konsep-konsep matematis dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak usia dini (76 menjadi 90). Kondisi sebelum implementasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa banyaknya peserta yang setuju bahwa pada usia dini (PAUD) tidak diperkenankan mengenalkan konsep-konsep matematis masih cukup tinggi, yaitu mendekati 50%. Demikin juga banyaknya peserta yang setuju bahwa aktivitas menghitung sama sekali tidak dilakukan dalam PAUD sebesar 36%.

Batik has become more desirable in the current fashion mode within the global market, but the environmental damage induced by this fabric’s synthetic dye practices is a matter of concern. This study aimed to discuss the application of organic materials as natural dyes in the clean production of textiles to maintain the environment. The research was a case study from the community services program in Kampung Malon, Gunungpati, Semarang City, Indonesia, focused on the batik home industry of the Zie Batik fabric. Furthermore, natural pigments from various plant organs (stem, leaves, wood, bark, and fruit) of diverse species, including Caesalpinia sappan, Ceriops candolleana, Maclura cochinchinensis, Indigofera tinctorial, I. arrecta, Rhizopora spp., Strobilantes cusia, and Terminalia bellirica were used for this type of material. These pigments are more biodegradable, relatively safe, and easily obtained with zero liquid waste compared to the synthetic variants. The leftover wastewater from the coloring stages was further utilized for other processes. Subsequently, the remaining organic waste from the whole procedure was employed as compost and/or timber for batik production, although a large amount of the wastewater containing sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), alum (KAl(SO4)2·12H2O), and fixatives (Ca(OH)2 and FeSO4) were discharged into the environment during the process of mordanting and fixating, with the requirement of additional treatment.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran Matematika Sekolah Dasar (SD) dengan penguatan tahapan enaktif-ikonik-simbolik berbantuan serang-kaian pertanyaan produktif. Perangkat pembelajaran berupa Panduan Guru sebagai suple-men dalam mengembangkan rancangan pembelajaran tematik kompetensi dasar (KD) Ma-tematika kelas IV semester gasal. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan Panduan Guru dengan perangkatnya, yaitu alat peraga sebagai representasi enaktif; media visual dalam bentuk po-werpoint sebagai representasi ikonik; lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) dan lembar tu-gas peserta didik (LTPD), serta kartu masalah (contextual problem). Produk yang telah di-hasilkan akan membantu guru dalam mengembangkan rancangan pembelajaran dalam im-plementasi Kurikulum 2013. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa produk penelitian be-rupa Suplemen Panduan Guru membantu guru dalam mengembangkan rancangan dan pe-laksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan ilmiah. A learning device Teacher’s Guide as a supplement in developing basic competencies thematic lesson plan fourth grade Math odd semester. This research has produced a Teacher’s Guide with the device; witch is a representation enactive prop; visual media in the form of PowerPoint as iconic representations; students’ activity sheets (LKPD) and students’ task sheet (LTPD), and card problems (contextual problem). The benefit of this research that has been produced to assist teachers in developing lesson plan curriculum implementation in 2013. Research products in the form of Teacher's Guide Supplement to help teachers in developing the design and implementation of learning with a scientific approach. Suggested improvements focused integration aspects of attitudes, skills, and knowledge. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri mencapai nilai minimal 75, untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas-VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri lebih baik dari rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, dan untuk mengetahui apakah tingkat percaya diri siswa kelas-VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri lebih tinggi dari tingkat percaya diri siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih kelas VII-C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Data hasil tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dianalisis menggunakan uji ketuntasan rata-rata dan uji banding rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas-VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang yang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri mencapai nilai minimal 75; (2) rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas-VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri lebih baik dari rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional; dan (3) tingkat percaya diri siswa kelas-VII SMP Negeri 41 Semarang menggunakan pembelajaran TTW berbantuan alat peraga mandiri lebih tinggi dari tingkat percaya diri siswa menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan ilmiah berbantuan LKPD dapat meningkatkan karakter jujur dan pemecahan masalah. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Jati Kudus tahun pelajaran 2013/2014, dan sebagai sampel diambil dua kelas secara acak, satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen (pembelajaran dengan pendekatan ilmiah berbantuan LKPD), dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelas kontrol (pembelajaran dengan pendekatan ilmiah). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji proporsi: satu pihak (kanan) untuk menghitung ketuntasan belajar dan menggunakan uji gain ternormalisasi untuk menghitung peningkatan karakter jujur dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen telah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal, (2) terdapat peningkatan karakter jujur pada kelas eksperimen, dan (3) terdapat peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen. Simpulan, pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan ilmiah berbantuan LKPD dapat meningkatkan karakter jujur dan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan strategi Small-Group Work (SGW) berbantuan kartu soal terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi dimensi tiga. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik cluster random sampling. Sebagai sampel diambil dua kelas eksperimen, kelas eksperimen I menggunakan strategi TTW sedangkan kelas eksperimen II menggunakan strategi SGW berbantuan kartu soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi TTW efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi dimensi tiga; (2) model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi SGW berbantuan kartu soal efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi dimensi tiga; dan (3) rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi dimensi tiga dalam pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi TTW lebih baik dibanding pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi SGW berbantuan kartu soal. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi TTW dan SGW berbantuan kartu soal efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi dimensi tiga.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) ketuntasan belajar peserta didik yang diajar dengan model experiential learning dengan strategi REACT, (2) rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang diajar dengan model experiential learning dengan strategi REACT. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 6 Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Terpilih kelas VIID sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan uji proporsi dan uji t. Pada uji proporsi kelas kontrol diperoleh zhitung (-1,633) < ztabel (1,64) dan kelas eksperimen diperoleh zhitung (2,042) > ztabel (1,64). Pada uji t diperoleh thitung (3,396) > ttabel (1,667). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan (1) peserta didik yang diajar dengan model experiential learning dengan strategi REACT sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal, (2) rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang diajar dengan model experiential learning dengan strategi REACT lebih baik dibanding yang diajar dengan model ekspositori.
