Abstract

A coronary artery aneurysm is an uncommon vascular disorder, and it can be a life-threatening disease when associated with rupture or an embolism. A 52-year-old man was found to have a 50-mm coronary artery aneurysm at the right coronary artery, and the aneurysm was completely occluded by a thrombus. He had no symptoms after arriving at our hospital, and his hemodynamics was stable. Therefore, initially, we administered anticoagulation therapy involving heparin. After therapy, the distal coronary artery was detected when the thrombus dissolved, and elective surgery was planned. Coronary artery bypass grafting, ligation of the inflow and outflow vessels, and resection of the aneurysm were performed. Early anticoagulation therapy and surgical aneurysm resection were effective for treating the completely occluded coronary artery aneurysm. We herein report this rare case of a giant coronary artery aneurysm occluded completely by a thrombus and treated successfully by anticoagulation therapy and surgical aneurysm resection. The support structure of the TF coils is designed to withstand the larger electromagnetic force on the basis of the stress analyses. The maximum displacement and the Tresca stress of the TF coil are evaluated in the cas4e of the plasma disruption at the end of plasma current flat-top.

Abstract

A-FNSでは、ブランケット構造材、ブランケット機能材、ダイバータ機能材、ブランケットぺブル充填層からのトリチウム放出回収特性、計測制御機器、ブランケット第一壁高温高圧水配管中の放射化腐食生成物、ブランケット核特性に関する照射データを取得する。A-FNSで実施する試験モジュールの目的、基本概念、設計条件、実験方法、照射計画を検討した。ブランケット構造材料試験モジュールに関する概念設計を行った。試験モジュールの交換は遠隔機器により行われ、交換前に試験セルに隣接するアクセスセルで配管及び計装線を切断してから、試験セル壁内に設置する遮蔽プラグと一体化して試験モジュールを水平方向に引き抜く。遠隔保守による交換を考慮した試験モジュールの基本構造概念を確立した。, 14th International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology

日欧の国際協力として実施してきたIFMIF/EVEDAで培った知見や研究資産を最大限に有効活用し、量子科学技術研究開発機構六ヶ所核融合研究所において40MeV-125mAの重陽子ビームと液体リチウムターゲットによる先進核融合中性子源（A-FNS）を建設する国内計画が検討されている。A-FNSの第一の目標は核融合炉材料等の中性子照射試験を行うことであるが、医療・産業応用等を含めた多用途利用を考慮した強力中性子源としても検討をしている。講演では現在進められつつあるA-FNSの計画について報告する。, 第6回加速器施設安全シンポジウム

30. Progress of IFMIF/EVEDA Project and Prospects for A-FNS

Abstract

International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility (IFMIF) is an accelerator-based D-Li neutron source, in which two 40 MeV Deuteron(D) beams with a total current 250 mA impact on a liquid Li stream flowing at 15 m/s. In the IFMIF/EVEDA project under the Broader Approach (BA) agreement, the Li target was continuously operated with the cold trap and satisfied the stability requirement throughout the continuous operation. The Linear IFMIF Prototype Accelerator (LIPAc) is currently under development in Rokkasho, Japan, to demonstrate the 9 MeV/125 mA D⁺ beam acceleration. Recently, the first proton beam was injected into the RFQ with more than 90 % of transmission, followed by the first D⁺ beam accelerated at 5 MeV. The SRF linac necessary for the 9-MeV D⁺ beam is nearing completion of the manufacturing phase and will be assembled in Rokkasho. Based on these results, a conceptual design of the Advanced Fusion Neutron Source (A-FNS) for its construction in Rokkasho is underway to obtain material irradiation data for a DEMO reactor. Abstract

It was found that the UV-absorbance of sugar alcohols was enhanced by a reaction with titanium alkoxide {titanium tetraisopropoxide (TTIP)}. 29- and 146-fold increases of the absorbance of sorbitol and xylitol at 250 nm by reactions with TTIP were found, respectively. Good linear relationships (r≥0.9794, n = 5) between the absorbance at 250 nm and the concentration of these sugar alcohols were obtained. When a 4.9 mM sorbitol aqueous solution was used as the sample, the repeatability, including the sample-preparation step, became 6.0% (n = 3) as the relative standard deviation.

Abstract

Cor triatriatum is a rare congenital heart disease. A 57‐year‐old woman had cor triatriatum with severe mitral valve regurgitation (MR) and atrial fibrillation (AF). We performed mitral valve repair, left atrial appendage resection, and maze procedure by resection of the anomalous septum in the left atrium. As a result, MR was controllable and AF disappeared after the operation. Although there is no established maze procedure with cor triatriatum, removing the septum was effective to complete it. Transcriptional start sites for 14,628 human RefSeq genes are clustered into 30,964 clusters that are separated from each other by more than 500 bp, likely to constitute mutually distinct promoters. At least 7674 (52%) human RefSeq genes are found to be subjected to regulation by putative alternative promoters.
