Ternary hybrid nanofluids possess improved thermal characteristics, enhanced stability, better physical strength, and multi-functionality as compared to hybrid or usual nanofluids. The aim of the ongoing study is to explore the novel thermal attributes of hybrid and trihybrid nanofluids through a porous medium. Whereas the nano-composition of cobalt (Co), gold (Au), and zirconium oxide (ZrO2) make amalgamation in the paraffin (Pfin) which is a base fluid. This nano-composition of the proposed nanoparticles, specifically, subject to the base fluid Pfin has not been interpreted before. The analysis not only covers the features of trihybrid nanofluids (Co–Au–ZrO2–Pfin) but it also describes the characteristics of hybrid (Co–Au–Pfin) as well as pure nanofluids (Co–Pfin). An efficient numerical algorithm is developed for which the numerical simulations are carried out. The approximations are performed in MATLAB software using “Successive under Relaxation (SUR)” technique. A comparison, under certain limiting conditions, with the established results appraises the efficiency of the numerical code. The outcomes evidently designate that temperature raises with the change in thermal radiation and volume fraction of gold and zirconium oxide in either case of pure, hybrid, or ternary nanofluids. The concentration ϕ3{\phi }_{3} of ZrO2 has a significant impact on Nusselt number rather than the concentration ϕ1{\phi }_{1} of cobalt and ϕ2{\phi }_{2} of gold. It has been comparatively noticed that the ternary nanofluids (Co–Au–ZrO2–Pfin) portray embellished and improvised thermal characteristics as compared to the other two cases.

In the current study, we focus on the Magneto-Marangoni convective flow of dusty tangent hyperbolic nanofluid (TiO2 – kerosene oil) over a sheet in the presence of thermophoresis particles deposition and gyrotactic microorganisms. Along with activation energy, heat source, variable viscosity, and thermal conductivity, the Dufour-Soret effects are taken into consideration. Variable surface tension gradients are used to identify Marangoni convection. Melting of drying wafers, coating flow technology, wielding, crystals, soap film stabilization, and microfluidics all depend on Marangoni driven flow. This study’s major objective is to ascertain the thermal mobility of nanoparticles in a fluid with a kerosene oil base. To improve mass transfer phenomena, we inserted microorganisms into the base fluid. By using similarity transformations, the resulting system of nonlinear partial differential equations is converted into nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Using a shooting technique based on RKF-45th order, the numerical answers are obtained. For various values of the physical parameters, the local density of motile microorganisms, Nusselt number, skin friction, and Sherwood number are calculated. The findings demonstrated that as the Marangoni convection parameter is raised, the velocity profiles of the dust and fluid phases increase, but the microorganisms, concentration, and temperature profiles degrade in both phases.

Thermal energy from the Sun comes mostly from sunlight. These energies might be used in photovoltaic cells, sustainable power systems, solar light poles, and water-collecting solar pumps. This age studies solar energy and how direct sunshine might improve solar panel efficiency. Solar energy, especially solar tiles, is widely used in manufacturing today. The literature includes a modified Buongiorno hybrid nanofluid prototype. There are no studies that have examined the impact of tri-hybrid and unique tetra hybridity nanomolecules integrated with the Buongiorno nanofluid prototype on liquid moving on a flexible surface. This study examines the effects of an improved Buongiorno tetra hybrid nanoliquid prototypical with Buongiorno and Tiwari–Das nanofluid on magnetized double-diffusive binary nanofluid with cross fluid and Maxwell liquid flowing with variant thermal conductance over a porous medium. Different profiles include diffusion thermo and thermo diffusion. The LobattoIIIA scheme’s convergence and stability are examined in terms of residual error, mesh points for ordinary differential equations (ODEs), and boundary conditions. Leading equations about liquid flow continuity, impetus, temperature, and concentricity are obtained using continuity, conservation of momentum, the second law of thermodynamics, Fick’s second law of diffusion, and boundary layer expectations. The system of partial differential equations obtained from the given assumption becomes a system of ODEs and well-established LobattoIII. Their numerical solution is obtained using a numerical technique. Statistical charts and tables provide numerical solutions. The heat transport rate of tetra-hybrid nanomolecules increases dramatically, unlike tri- and di-hybrid nanomolecules. The improved Buongiorno tetra hybrid nanofluid (BTHNF) model produces more heat when radiation Rd{\rm{Rd}}, Brownian diffusion Nb{\rm{Nb}}, and thermal conductivity are increased. The data show that the diffusion factor LL, Brinkman number Br{\rm{Br}}, and Reynolds number Re increase entropy production, but Bejan number reduces it owing to an increase in Be{\rm{Be}} and Re\mathrm{Re}. A statistical regression study shows that retaining the Maxwell fluid parameter constant and increasing the Weissenberg number We{\rm{We}} decrease the drag coefficient error. A BTHNF model containing tetra hybrid nanoparticles has not been utilized to examine heat and mass transferences in non-Newtonian fluids, considering diffusion, thermo, and thermo diffusion. Entropy generation in a binary fluid with tetra hybrid nanoparticles and BTHNF has not been studied. Tetra hybrid nanofluid is not mentioned in the literature. This effort aims to create a new tetra-hybrid nanofluid model. This article is novel because it investigates the effects of thermal radiation, thermal conductivity, porosity, Darcy–Forchheimer, and Buongiorno models on a tetra-hybrid nanofluid flow under an extensible sheet.

It is very significant and practical to explore a triple hybrid nanofluid flow across the stuck zone of a stretching/shrinking curved surface with impacts from stuck and Lorentz force factors. The combination (Ag–TiO2–Al2O3/blood) hybrid nanofluid is studied herein as it moves across a stagnation zone of a stretching/shrinking surface that curves under the impact of pressure and Lorentz force. Exact unsolvable nonlinear partial differential equations can be transformed into ordinary differential equations that can be solved numerically by similarity transformation. It was discovered that predominant heat transfers and movement characteristics of quaternary hybrid nanofluids are dramatically affected. Numerous data were collected from this study to illustrate how parameters of flow affect the temperature, velocity, heat transmission, and skin friction characteristics. The axial and radial velocities for both fluids (Newtonian and ternary hybrid nanofluid) are increased due to the increasing function of the curvature parameter, magnetic field, and suction parameter. Additionally, the direct relationship between the temperature and heat transfer decreases the heat transfer rate by the curvature parameter, magnetic field, suction parameter, Prandtl number, and heat source/sink. The higher the values of the curvature parameter, the higher the shear stress and velocity.

High population density in major cities has led to compact designs of residential multi-story buildings. Consequently, it is a natural choice of the architects to suggest the location of high-voltage wires close to the ducts with contaminated air. This observation results in the motivation for this study, i.e., the understanding of the complicated interaction of the Lorentz force (due to the current-carrying wire) with the micropolar flow in the vertical direction in the duct, with polluted air (containing dust particles) being modeled as a micropolar fluid, which is driven by some external pressure gradient. Therefore, this study focuses on an incompressible and electrically conducting micropolar fluid flow through a rectangular vertical duct, in the presence of a current-carrying wire placed outside the flow regime. The governing equations, after being translated into a dimensionless form, are solved numerically using a finite volume approach. The velocity, microrotation, and temperature fields thus obtained are examined. It has been noted that the strong magnetic force caused by the wire may distort the flow symmetry and slows down the flow. Furthermore, in the absence of wire, particles spinning in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions occupy the same amount of space in the duct, thus incorporating a sort of equilibrium in the duct. However, the imposed variable magnetic field adds to the spinning of particles in one part of the duct, while simultaneously suppressing it in the other region.

The article mainly investigates the illicit exploitation of natural resources, goods, and products by Armenia during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories. The current legal and economic assessment of the property rights belong to those Azerbaijani lands are thoroughly conducted upon their liberation from occupation. The purpose of the study is to analyze the legal and economic scope of illegal activities after the occupation carried out by Armenia in the ancient lands of Azerbaijan. The selected topic is considered very high relevance not only in analytical respect but also in practical terms and has never deeply been researched before. Thus the economic and legal analysis of the illegalities committed during the occupation and measures taken after the liberation of Azerbaijani territories is comparatively estimated. In international politics, based on geographical indicators, property rights regulation in those territories has become a crucial problem in the process of illegal use of goods, items, and other resources amid the occupation. The country's rules and regulations, as well as provisions on property rights, its main contradictions, and emerging problems regarding the enforcement of property rights, are scrutinized in the article.

Here, we report the synthesis and thermophysical properties of seven primarily aromatic, imidazolium-based polyamide ionenes. The effects of varied para-, meta-, and ortho-connectivity, and spacing of ionic and amide functional groups, on structural and thermophysical properties were analyzed. Suitable, robust derivatives were cast into thin films, neat, or with stoichiometric equivalents of the ionic liquid (IL) 1-benzy-3-methylimidazolium bistriflimide ([Bnmim][Tf2N]), and the gas transport properties of these membranes were measured. Pure gas permeabilities and permselectivities for N2, CH4, and CO2 are reported. Consistent para-connectivity in the backbone was shown to yield the highest CO2 permeability and suitability for casting as a very thin, flexible film. Derivatives containing terephthalamide segments exhibited the highest CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2 selectivities, yet CO2 permeability decreased with further deviation from consistent para-linkages.

This paper presents the economic, technical, and environmental performance of a GridConnected PV System (GCPVS) designed for a residential building consisting of 14 families for six major cities of Saudi Arabia. HOMER Pro was used in this study for the evaluation of the techno-economical & environmental performance of the GCPVS. Neom, which a newly developed city on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, which has never been investigated before for such conditions, is also considered among the selected cities in the current study and thus makes the work novel. This analysis demonstrates that CO2 emissions are considerably higher as compared to their counterparts in both; grid alone and grid + PV systems. The studies concluded that the grid + PV system was feasible for all cities. Parameters like Net Present Cost (NPC), Cost of Energy (COE), and excess electricity were proportional to the PV penetration, but with the increase of PV penetration, CO2 emissions decreased. For the grid + PV system, Neom was found to be the most economical as it demonstrated the lowest NPC ($80, 199) and CO2 emissions (63, 664 kg/yr), among others. Neom, as a rapidly developing city in the North-West of Saudi Arabia, possesses great potential for PV. The results of this study can be used to study further PV systems in different climate zones of Saudi Arabia.

Three new isomeric 6FDA-based polyimide-ionenes, with imidazolium moieties and varying regiochemistry (para-, meta-, and ortho- connectivity), and composites with three different ionic liquids (ILs) have been developed as gas separation membranes. The structural-property relationships and gas separation behaviors of the newly developed 6FDA polyimide-ionene + IL composites have been extensively studied. All the 6FDA-based polyimide-ionenes exhibited good compatibility with the ILs and produced homogeneous hybrid membranes with the high thermal stability of ~380 °C. Particularly, [6FDA I4A pXy][Tf2N] ionene + IL hybrids having [C4mim][Tf2N] and [Bnmim][Tf2N] ILs offered mechanically stable matrixes with high CO2 affinity. The permeability of CO2 was increased by factors of 2 and 3 for C4mim and Bnmim hybrids (2.15 to 6.32 barrers), respectively, compared to the neat [6FDA I4A pXy][Tf2N] without sacrificing their permselectivity for CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2 gas pairs.

Maintaining indoor climatic conditions of buildings compatible with the occupant comfort by consuming minimum energy, especially in a tropical climate becomes a challenging problem for researchers. This paper aims to investigate this problem by evaluating the effect of different kind of Photovoltaic Trombe wall system (PV-TW) on thermal comfort, energy consumption and CO2 emission. A detailed simulation model of a single room building integrated with PV-TW was modelled using TRNSYS software. Results show that 14-35% PMV index and 26-38% PPD index reduces as system shifted from SPV-TW to DGPV-TW as compared to normal buildings. Thermal comfort indexes (PMV and PPD) lie in the recommended range of ASHARE for both DPV-TW and DGPV-TW except for the few months when RH%, solar radiation intensity and ambient temperature were high. Moreover PVTW system significantly reduces energy consumption and CO2 emission of the building and also 2-4.8 °C of temperature differences between indoor and outdoor climate of building was examined.

The pyrochlore iridates, A 2 Ir 2 O 7 , show a wide variety of structural, electronic, and magnetic properties controlled by the interplay of different exchange interactions, which can be tuned by external pressure. In this work, we report pressure-induced iso-structural phase transitions at ambient temperature using synchrotron-based x-ray diffraction (up to ∼20 GPa) and Raman-scattering measurements (up to ∼25 GPa) of the pyrochlore series (Sm_{1-x}Bi x ) 2 Ir 2 O 7 ( x = 0, 0.02, and 0.10). Our Raman and x-ray data suggest an iso-structural transition in Sm 2 Ir 2 O 7 atPc∼ 11.2 GPa, associated with the rearrangement of IrO 6 octahedra in the pyrochlore lattice. The transition pressure decreases to ∼10.2 and 9 GPa for x = 0.02 and 0.10, respectively. For all the samples, the linewidth of three phonons associated with Ir-O-Ir (A1gand E g ) and Ir-O (T2g4) vibrations show anomalous decrease up toPc, due to decrease in electron-phonon interaction., (© 2024 IOP Publishing Ltd.)

The high pressure-high temperature structural stability of Zeolite A (ZA) has been studied using the X-ray diffraction (XRD) method. Structural studies at high temperatures show a reduction in the oxygen occupancy, belonging to the water molecule, indicating thermal dehydration and subsequent expulsion of water molecules from the pores of the structure. ZA does not undergo structural phase transition with temperature. However, structural transitions are observed in in situ XRD studies at high pressure and high temperature. At 1.3 GPa and 300 °C, the cubic ZA concomitantly transformed to cubic sodalite (SOD) and tetragonal zeolite NaP (ZNP). This transition was completely forbidden at 2.7 GPa, where a temperature-induced amorphization was favored at 250 °C. The thermal studies at higher pressure reveal the marginal influence of pressure on the thermal expansion coefficients of hydrated ZA. Pressure evolution of the high pressure-high temperature phases indicates no further phase transitions up to 5.9 GPa. The equation of state fit to the pressure-volume data of these phases show that ZNP is less compressible, followed by SOD and ZA. In contrast to the behavior at 0.1 MPa, SOD shows a pressure-induced negative thermal expansion (NTE) at 5.9 GPa. On the other hand, the positive thermal expansion (PTE) observed along the direction of c axis is compensated by the NTE along the a axis leading to a negligible volume thermal expansion for the ZNP structure. The bulk moduli and thermal expansion coefficients of all of the observed phases are reported. The outcomes of this study have been consolidated as a pressure-temperature phase diagram, which provides an insight into the technological and industrial applications of ZA at extreme conditions.

The intriguing functional nature of ceramics containing rare earth sesquioxide (RES) is associated with the type of polymorphic structure they crystallize into. They prefer to be in the cubic, monoclinic or hexagonal structure in the increasing order of cation size, R RE . Since the functional properties of these ceramics varies with R RE , temperature and pressure, a systematic investigation delineating the cation size effect is indispensable. In the present work we report the structural stability and compressibility behaviour of the RES ceramics, (Eu 1-x La x ) 2 O 3 , of RESs with dissimilar structure and significant difference in cationic radii. The selected compositions of (Eu 1-x La x ) 2 O 3 have been studied using the in-situ high pressure synchrotron X-ray diffraction and the structural parameters obtained through Rietveld refinement. The cubic structure, which is stable for 0.95 Å [Formula: see text] R RE [Formula: see text] Å at ambient temperature and pressure (ATP), prefers a cubic to hexagonal transition at high pressures. The biphasic region of cubic and monoclinic structure, which is stable for 0.98 Å [Formula: see text] R RE [Formula: see text] Å at ATP, prefers a cubic/monoclinic to hexagonal transition at high pressures. Further, in the biphasic region of monoclinic and hexagonal structure, observed for 1.025 Å [Formula: see text]R RE [Formula: see text] Å, the monoclinic phase is found to be progressing towards the hexagonal phase with increasing pressure. The pure hexagonal phase obtained for 1.055 Å [Formula: see text] R RE [Formula: see text] 1.10 Å is found to be structurally stable at high pressures. The bulk moduli are obtained from the Birch-Murnaghan equation of state fit to the compressibility data and its dependance on the cation size is discussed. The microstrain induced by the difference in cation size causes an internal pressure in the crystal structure leading to a reduction in the bulk modulus of [Formula: see text] and 0.6. A pressure-concentration (P-x) phase diagram upto a pressure of 25 GPa is constructed for (Eu 1-x La x ) 2 O 3 . This would provide an insight to the fundamental and technological aspects of these materials and the RESs in general.
