By using the method of linear classification, breeding sires were evaluated by the type of their daughters in the herd of enter-prise of the company "Ukrlandfarming" PE "Burynske" Pidlisnivskyi branch in Sumy region for breeding Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed. Differentiation of the offspring according to daughter’s assessment by 100-score scale showed significant variability, which depended on their origin. The daughters obtained from Holstein sires were better in terms of estimation in comparison with their peers, whose parents were bull-sires of the created aboriginal Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed. In general, according to the generally accepted international scale, assessment indicators of all evaluated groups of sires daughters, regardless of breed, corresponded to the class "good with plus" (80-84 scores). Daughters of bull-sires of the Holstein breed, which were characterized by the best development of the dairy type group traits (82.9-84.3 scores), body (83.2-84.6 scores), limbs (82.8-83.5 scores), udder (83.7-84.5 scores) and the final score for the conformation type (83.7-84.2 scores), similarly differed by higher milk yield of the first (6782-7244 kg) and full-age (8645 - 8931 kg) lactation. The correlation was established between the milk yield per lactation and the group of conformation traits of daughters assessed by the type of sires, thatch characterize the severity of dairy type (r = 0.215-0.478), body (r = 0.286-0.484) and limbs development (r = 0.122-0.422), morphological udder qualities (r = 0.264-0.461) and from the final score of type (r = 0.231-0.468) with a reliability of P

This study uses a Japanese nationwide sample and experimentally compares rebate and matching, both of which are schemes intended to lower the price of monetary donation. Standard economic theory predicts that the two schemes will have the same effect on individuals’ donation behavior when their donation price is equivalent. However, we conduct an incentivized economic experiment through the Internet on 2300 Japanese residents, and find that matching, which lowers the donation price by adding a contribution from a third-party, increases individuals’ donation expenditures compared to rebate, which lowers it through a refund from a third-party. The experimental result shows that the donation expenditure in a 50% rebate treatment drops by approximately 126 Japanese yen compared to the control, while in a 1:1 matching treatment with essentially the same price of donation as the 50% rebate, the expenditure conversely rises by approximately 56 Japanese yen. This tendency is consistent with the results of previous experimental studies comparing the two schemes. We further empirically confirm that the superiority of 1:1 matching over 50% rebate is not conclusively influenced by the participants’ confusion or misunderstanding, or budget constraint lines’ difference between the two schemes. Although the Japanese government has previously enriched rebate’s content, the level of monetary donations by the Japanese people is still low on an international scale. Based on this study’s findings, we discuss the possibility that implementing matching into the society effectively encourages their donation behavior.

Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (DRPM) Universitas Budi Luhur (UBL) sebagai pelaksana dalam bidang Riset dan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat, dituntut untuk berperan aktif tidak hanya dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahun dan teknologi tetapi turut serta dalam kegiatan masyarakat. DPRD yang terdiri dari berbagai macam latar belakang membutuhkan peningkatan skill, perubahan sikap, perilaku, korelasi terhadap kekurangan – kekurangan kinerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan produktivitas melalui pelatihan atau salah satunya bimbingan teknis. Salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh DRPM Universitas Budi Luhur adalah mengadakan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM), dengan memfasilitasi DPRD Provinsi dan Kabupaten/Kota dalam melaksanakan Workshop dan Bimbingan Teknis dalam upaya ikut meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia Anggota DPRD. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan dua variabel atau lebih. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, wawancara serta data dilapangan dengan analisis PLS (Partial Least Square) menggunakan sampel sebanyak 41 orang. Kegiatan Workshop dan Bimtek yang telah dilaksanakan dengan lancar sampai hari terakhir dan diwarnai dengan diskusi aktif antara Pimpinan dan Anggota DPRD bersama para narasumber. Melalui workshop dan bimbingan teknis, memberikan manfaat pimpinan dan anggota DPRD dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas kedewanan.

PURPOSE: The number of female medical students has increased significantly in the last decade due to increased gender diversity. However, the number of female doctors going into interventional radiology (IR) does not reflect this trend on an international scale. METHODS: A standardized set of questions was created looking into medical students’ demographics, awareness of IR, their general opinion, and whether they would consider IR as a potential career path. One-hundred female medical students from the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Spain, and New Zealand were approached either directly or via an online survey platform. The students ranged from first to final year study of Medicine and were between 18 and 30 years of age. RESULTS: The majority of medical students (68%) were unaware of what IR is and 98% denied having teaching about IR in their university. Influential factors to choosing IR were more exposure to IR in medical school (15%), more options to allow family life (15%), direct training pathway to IR rather than via diagnostic radiology (13%), options of private practice (13%), and understanding more about radiation protection during pregnancy (12%). CONCLUSION: A lack of awareness about what IR is and misconceptions, particularly regarding radiation exposure during pregnancy, play an important role in discouraging entry into IR. Additionally, some of the concerns raised were directed at IR training pathway. Female IR consultants should also take leadership initiative to act as role models. More lectures and direct clinical exposure are paramount to their understanding of IR.

On the international scale of measurement, Vietnam stands out as a country that has successfully accomplished the objectives of minimizing the spread of COVID-19. These objectives have been achieved through several factors, including the Government’s commitment, excellent success of the health service, and the “wholeheartedness” of the armed forces, especially the social consensus, which is clearly reflected in the decisions and policies made. Among those crucial decisions, the stable social security system has been the key priority of the government of Vietnam because it provides a strong foundation for the disadvantaged, who are not expected to overcome the pandemic based on their low-level “resistance.” The article aims at illustrating Vietnam’s social security interventions and strategies when faced the global COVID-19 pandemic and it also draws some experience that need to be referenced in implementing Social Security Society witnessed from Vietnamese reality.

Summary The use of podcasting as a media format continues to grow on a global scale, but despite health being one of the top podcasting genres, nearly a third of the medical community are unfamiliar with the term. In a digital age of teaching, podcasts have fantastic potential as educational resources that can be shared on a global scale. In medical education, they are useful learning aids, particularly in keeping listeners up-to-date with the latest research. Although increasingly popular among some medical and surgical specialties, there is relatively little material aimed at the plastic and reconstructive surgeon. In our review of the major podcast hosting services, we only found seven educational podcasts aimed at plastic surgeons, with only two originating from the UK. The majority of these adopt a journal club format and, although generally excellent, the regularity and consistency of episodes are variable. With the continuing need to adapt our approach to education as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and increasing ‘webinar-fatigue’, the podcast may represent a versatile teaching medium in plastic surgery education on an international scale.

Computational Thinking merupakan metode berpikir yang sangat penting dan menarik bagi para pendidik pada sekolah dasar dan menengah. Hal Ini terlihat dari antusiasme peserta sosialisasi pada SMK Telkom Makassar yang diadakan oleh Tim pengabdian masyarakat Departemen Teknik Informatika UNHAS. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 22 (dua puluh dua) peserta secara luring, dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan selama masa pandemi, Kegiatan sosialisasi dimulai dengan pemberian materi pendahuluan mengenai konsep dasar computational thinking, mengapa hal tersebut penting dan bagaimana penerapannya. Materi sosialisasi berikutnya adalah terkait pengenalan Bebras yaitu sebuah inisiatif berskala international untuk mempromosikan informatika dan computational thinking melalui tantangan soal, bagaimana tantangan Bebras tahun 2020 serta di lanjutkan dengan tutorial penggunaan situs latihan tantangan Bebras. Diharapkan ke depannya semakin bertambah guru yang menerapkan konsep computational thinking pada Mata Pelajaran yang diampu serta semakin banyak siswa yang mengikuti kompetisi computational thinking yang diadakan oleh Bebras baik pada tingkat lokal, nasional dan international.

The Hoshin Kanri is a strategic planning system that possesses the particular capability to solve the most typical problems of implementing such a plan, within organizations. Its Japanese origin has not been an obstacle for its adoption and implementation in firms and organizations of different origins, as this article shows. There still are many difficulties and few experiences for implementing it in SMEs, both in Argentina and at the international scale. The work's objective is to describe Hoshin's planning, providing evidence of its Argentine dissemination, and analyzing the feasibility of its implementation within domestic SMEs. Finally, some necessary conditions for implementing Hoshin are detailed, most of them of operative character, considering some of the specific features of this type of firm.

Topokeni was a local online courier and ride-hailing service in Palu. In this study, we tried to understand the social media marketing strategies used by Topokeni, as we assumed that Topokeni had specific strategies to compete with national and international scale ride-hailing services such as Grab and Gojek. Thus, this study was focused and aimed to understand and describe the Instagram marketing strategies of Topokeni based on four aspects of social media marketing in a qualitative-case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document study on social media and other relevant archives. The results showed that social media became an alternative to survive and increase tenants and consumers. In the context aspect, Topokeni admins used nicknames such as kakak (bro/sis) to their customers to reach broader targets. In the communication aspect, Topokeni used graphic elements in photos, videos, infographics, and testimonials posts. In the collaboration aspect, Topokeni merged the tenant’s market with Topokeni’s customers. In the connectivity aspect, Topokeni synergized the contents, themes, and brand positioning using #kurirpalu and #deliverypalu, also @(mention) feature on partner tenant accounts and personal customers as a form of appreciation and responsibility.

BACKGROUND: Heterogeneous access to clinical learning opportunities and inconsistency in teaching is a common source of dissatisfaction among medical students. This was exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic, with limited exposure to patients for clinical teaching. METHODS: We conducted a proof-of-concept study at a London teaching hospital using mixed reality (MR) technology (HoloLens2™) to deliver a remote access teaching ward round. RESULTS: Students unanimously agreed that use of this technology was enjoyable and provided teaching that was otherwise inaccessible. The majority of participants gave positive feedback on the MR (holographic) content used (n = 8 out of 11) and agreed they could interact with and have their questions answered by the clinician leading the ward round (n = 9). Quantitative and free text feedback from students, patients and faculty members demonstrated that this is a feasible, acceptable and effective method for delivery of clinical education. DISCUSSION: We have used this technology in a novel way to transform the delivery of medical education and enable consistent access to high-quality teaching. This can now be integrated across the curriculum and will include remote access to specialist clinics and surgery. A library of bespoke MR educational resources will be created for future generations of medical students and doctors to use on an international scale.

Purpose Approximately 1–2% of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients harbor atypical BCR-ABL1 transcripts that cannot be monitored by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) using standard methodologies. Within the European Treatment and Outcome Study (EUTOS) for CML we established and validated robust RT-qPCR methods for these patients. Methods BCR-ABL1 transcripts were amplified and sequenced to characterize the underlying fusion. Residual disease monitoring was carried out by RT-qPCR with specific primers and probes using serial dilutions of appropriate BCR-ABL1 and GUSB plasmid DNA calibrators. Results were expressed as log reduction of the BCR-ABL1/GUSB ratio relative to the patient-specific baseline value and evaluated as an individual molecular response (IMR). Results In total, 330 blood samples (2–34 per patient, median 8) from 33 CML patients (19 male, median age 62 years) were analyzed. Patients expressed seven different atypical BCR-ABL1 transcripts (e1a2, n = 6; e6a2, n = 1; e8a2, n = 2; e13a3, n = 4; e14a3, n = 6; e13a3/e14a3, n = 2; e19a2, n = 12). Most patients (61%) responded well to TKI therapy and achieved an IMR of at least one log reduction 3 months after diagnosis. Four patients relapsed with a significant increase of BCR-ABL1/GUSB ratios. Conclusions Characterization of atypical BCR-ABL1 transcripts is essential for adequate patient monitoring and to avoid false-negative results. The results cannot be expressed on the International Scale (IS) and thus the common molecular milestones and guidelines for treatment are difficult to apply. We, therefore, suggest reporting IMR levels in these cases as a time-dependent log reduction of BCR-ABL1 transcript levels compared to baseline prior to therapy.

Issues regarding nationalism have been increasing since the 1990s on an international scale. This article reviews and summarizes the current state of sociological studies concerning Japanese nationalism and the changes therein, as many sociologists in Japan have focused on nationalism and its related problems. The first half of the article examines historical sociological studies about the emergence and development of nationalism in Japan, which demystify the fictions concerning Japan’s ethnic and cultural homogeneity and describe the specific historical roots of this myth. The latter half of the article reviews various aspects of modern sociological works on Japanese nationalism. While some studies empirically show various forms of nationalism, others demonstrate political components of Japanese nationalism or inquire about this recent phenomenon and related issues that have arisen since the 2010s.

In this paper we seek to examine the co-authoring pattern of a select group of researchers that are affiliated with a specific country. By way of making use of standard bibliometric analysis, we explore the publication evolution of all COVID-19-related peer reviewed papers that have been (co)-authored by researchers that are affiliated with Greek institutions. The aim is to identify its advancement over time, the institutions involved and the countries with which the co-authors are affiliated with. The timeframe of the study spans from the moment that WHO Director-General declared the novel coronavirus outbreak a public health emergency of international concern (WHO, 2020. Archived: WHO timeline-covid-19. Retrieved from Archived: Who Timeline-COVID-19. https://www.who.int/news/item/27-04-2020-who-timeline---covid-19. Findings indicate that there is a steady increase in the number of publications as well as the number of scientific collaborations over time. At a cross-country level, results suggest that the affiliated institutional sectors such as the Higher Education Sector (HES) and the Government Sector (GOV) contributed the most in terms of scientific output. On an international scale, the evolution of the scientific collaboration is imprinted and distributed as a chain of affiliations that linked nations together. Such chains are represented as clusters of countries, in which the scientific connections between different countries can be visualised. It can be reasoned that a significant amount of publications (20%) is affiliated with countries having “traditionally” major scientific impact on the field of Medicine. Resilience has always been key to successful disaster governance throughout the world. Local communities can play an important role in promoting disaster preparedness and executing front-line relief to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of both local and national disaster governance. This article addresses a unique case of how a flood-prone, rural, and ageing community in Yilan County, Taiwan, successfully mobilized its citizens for disaster preparedness. Through the lens of social capital analysis, this article unpacks how Bonding Social Capital, Bridging Social Capital, and Linking Social Capital work, by tracing the process through which awareness of disaster resilience was developed and practised in the Meizhou Community. Since 2012, Meizhou has been recognized as a model of disaster preparedness and relief in Taiwan, and in 2019 this recognition was extended to the wider Indo-Pacific region. We begin the discussion of this article by contextualizing social capital as a theoretical departure to the empirical analysis of the Meizhou experience. This is followed by an exploration of how Bonding Social Capital was able to consolidate the community, and how Bridging Social Capital can facilitate the collaboration among functional groups in and beyond the Meizhou locality, and to what extent Linking Social Capital can implement Meizhou’s experience on a national and even international scale. This article is based on a qualitative assessment of long-term fieldwork, interviews, and participatory observation conducted by the authors in the Meizhou community.

The aim of the work was to characterize the radiation incidents that took place in the territory of the Voronezh region. Materials and methods. To prepare this article the stock data of the radiological laboratory of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Voronezh Region for 2009-2018 was used. All measurements in the investigation of radiation incidents were carried out with the MKS-AT1117M dosimeter-radiometer which passed the state calibration. The equivalent dose rate of gamma radiation (μSv/h) was determined. Results. For the last 10 years, 8 radiation incidents were registered on the territory of the Voronezh region, which were related to domestic clocks - 4 (measurements according to citizens), the detection of orphan sources of ionizing findings - 2, scrap metal - 1 and a thermometer - 1 (during customs inspection). According to the classification of emergencies, the radiation incidents are local, i.e. do not go beyond the territory of the facility, according to the international scale of nuclear and radiological events, INES refer to the incident (anomalies) with the level 1 “minor problems with the safety of components, a radioactive source of low activity level”. All interactions in the investigation of radioactive incidents involving specialists from the radiological laboratory of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Voronezh region with other services showed a good level of rapid response.

Feasibility analysis needs to be done to see whether or not the business is executed when the company is developing based on non-financial aspects and financial aspects. Aspects assessed on non-financial aspects are market aspects, technical aspects, management and legal aspects, social and economic aspects, and environmental aspects. Assessment on financial aspects based on investment criteria of NPV, Net B/C, IRR and Payback Period and sensitivity analysis. Analysis results of non-financial aspects that the business is declared worthy to run. Analysis of financial aspects under normal conditions resulted in NPV Rp 708.012.338, Net B/C 2,64, IRR 29 per cent and PP 5,7 years. In development, conditions produce NPV Rp 1.003.257.059, Net B/C 3,74, IRR 45 per cent, and PP 4,9 year. The results of financial analysis can be stated that business development is worthy to run. The results of sensitivity analytic showed that the price increase of raw materials was more sensitive than the decrease in sugar production. Companies need to increase the number of suppliers of raw materials and add investment goods to increase consumer demand can be fulfilled and anticipate the increase of raw material prices.

In this study, the innovation system is a unified component that influences the direction of development and speed of innovation, diffusion, and learning processes in the development, mastery, advancement and application/utilization of science and technology. How sub-subsystems (elements / factors) play their roles, their interrelations (including policy coherence), and the dynamics of their interactions determine or influence the dynamic performance of innovation systems. Strengthening the innovation system means structuring the system (holistic, simultaneous, systemic issues) in a structured way. In a policy perspective, strengthening innovation systems means remedial steps that need to be directed to address systemic failures. Therefore, policy strategies need to be developed as a unified innovation policy framework (KKI) to strengthen the system.

BCR-ABL1/ABL1 p210 measurement by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) is used worldwide to monitor the molecular response in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients. Droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR) seems to show a greater sensitivity than qPCR, probably due to the high number of replicates analyzed in ddPCR for the comparison. Additionally, in a recently published comparison, ddPCR measurements were not adequately transformed into International Scale (IS). We have analyzed 50 CML patients and ten non-CML donors in parallel by qPCR and ddPCR. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study comparing both techniques under similar conditions, with BCR-ABL1/ABL1 measurements performed via both techniques transformed into IS. AIM: to assess the effectiveness and safety of sodium picosulfate for screening colonoscopy.PATIENTS AND METHODS: the retrospective study included 299 patients at mean age of 54±14 years who had screening colonoscopy, . All patients received sodium pikosulfate for bowel cleansing. The quality of bowel cleansing was evaluated by the Boston international scale. Organoleptic and subjective sensations were also evaluated.RESULTS: the quality of bowel cleansing was 8.5±1.0 point by Boston scale. As a result of screening colonoscopy in 96 (32.1%) patients, polyps of the rectum, sigmoid, colon and ileum were detected in 11%, 8%, 11% and 2% of cases respectively. Pathology showed that 78 (26%) patients had adenomatous polyps, 13 (4%) – adenocarcinoma. All patients reported comfortable use of the agent.CONCLUSION: sodium picosulfate fully meets the requirements for the drug used for bowel cleansing for colonoscopy.

The aim of the article is to estimate the type of first-calf cows’ body structure on breeding farms of differ-ent regions of Ukraine. The comparison of the body structure type of cow-heifers in different regions of Ukraine under the effect of management conditions has been conducted. The electronic database of the exte-rior characteristics of cows has been further developed, on the basis of which the corrective selection of breeding bulls to the maternal stock has been carried out to qualitatively improve most of the described characteristics of the external conformation in animals of dairy breeds. The method of linear classification of cow-heifer line type score in accordance with the requirements of the ICAR international scale, the data of breeding records, methods of variation statistics have been used in the process of study. Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative disorder caused by the BCR-ABL1 tyrosine kinase1,2. ABL1-selective tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) including nilotinib have dramatically improved the prognosis of patients with CML3–7. The ultimate goal of CML treatment is likely to be TKI-free maintenance of deep molecular response (DMR), which is defined by quantitative measurement of BCR-ABL1 transcripts on the international scale (IS)8, and durable DMR is a prerequisite to reach this goal9. Thus, an algorithm to enable the early prediction of DMR achievement on TKI therapy is quite valuable. Here, we show that our mathematical framework based on a clinical trial dataset10 can accurately predict the response to frontline nilotinib. We found that our simple dynamical model can predict nilotinib response by using two common laboratory findings (observation values): IS11,12 and white blood cell (WBC) count. Furthermore, our proposed method identified patients who failed to achieve DMR with high fidelity according to the data collected only at three initial time points during nilotinib therapy. Since our model relies on the general properties of TKI response, our framework would be applicable to CML patients who receive frontline nilotinib or other TKIs in clinical practice.Significance StatementChronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative disorder caused by the BCR-ABL1 tyrosine kinase. However, because of individual differences in the TKI efficacy, some patients are unable to achieve DMR, so that early prediction of DMR reachability is necessary for personalized medicine. By combining time series analysis and mathematical modeling, we developed a mathematical method that accurately predicts patients who do not achieve DMR in the early stages of TKI administration. Our prediction method gives a basis of effective personalized treatments for CML patients.

On an international scale, guidelines and proposals for lupus anticoagulant detection have been published over the last 20 years, but until now, standardization has not been completely realized. The aim of this study was to evaluate the different ways of interpreting the results of lupus anticoagulant detection for standardization. A retrospective review of 15 447 instances of lupus anticoagulant detection by the diluted Russell Viper Venom test for female patients presenting with problems relating to the areas of reproduction, gynecology and obstetrics was performed. Lupus anticoagulant data were compared between different departments, months, reagent lots and cutoffs. Significant differences were found in patient data between different reagent lots, especially between lots of screening reagents (monthly average: highest 37.96 s vs lowest 33.88 s) and in the positive rates of lupus anticoagulant by different detection cutoffs (47.58% by using LA1/LA2 > 1.20 without normalization as a cutoff in Lot 1 vs 1.52% by using LA1 > 44 s as a cutoff in Lot 3). Compared with the cutoff using the value above the 99th percentile of LA1 for the healthy donors per lot, the cutoff using integrated tests with normalization had the smaller deviation of positive rate between different reagent lots. Pregnant women had higher LA1/LA2 levels than nonpregnant women. Based on the results, normalization is needed because there are significant lot-to-lot variations. Integrated tests with normalization might be a better standard by which to confirm lupus anticoagulant. Pregnant women should have population-specific cutoffs because they have higher LA1/LA2 levels.

The development of dojang in Yogyakarta shows a pleasant increase because of the increasing number of taekwondo matches on a regional, national and even international scale followed by a large number of dojangs in Yogyakarta. This makes the members of the dojang to compete with each other and even move from one dojang to another because they see that the other dojang is superior to the dojang he is currently attending. This study aims to examine a number of variables that affect the loyalty of dojang members, including (1) brand image, (2) brand then, (3) satisfaction, (4) servqual, and (5) brand credibility. To answer the research objectives, 100 questionnaires were distributed randomly to a number of large dojang in Yogyakarta. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there were 2 variables that significantly or strongly influenced the loyalty of dojang members, namely (1) brand image, and (2) servqual. While there are 3 variables that do not significantly affect the loyalty of dojang members, namely (1) brand trust, satisfaction, and (3) brand credibility.

With the development of natural gas trade on an international scale, pricing issues have become of serious importance for market participants. Natural gas is not a standard commodity, the main differences are that it is a natural resource, the reserves of which are unevenly distributed, and the investments in production and transportation are highly specific. This paper discusses the main gas pricing mechanisms and their use in key regions. The result of the study is the development of recommendations for the Republic of Moldova.

El desarrollo y consolidación del campo de la salud mental en Argentina estuvo ligado a los procesos de reformas que se dieron a escala internacional vinculadas a las graves violaciones a los Derechos Humanos perpetradas en instituciones psiquiátricas. Desde mediados del siglo XX se cuestionó fuertemente el papel central del hospital psiquiátrico y la internación como única respuesta para abordar el sufrimiento subjetivo. Santa Fe fue una de las provincias pioneras en la reforma en salud mental en nuestro país, convergiendo para fines de la década de 1980 en un nuevo abordaje epistemológico, metodológico y jurídico de asistencia pública al sufrimiento psíquico que se plasmó en la Ley Provincial N° 10.772 del año 1991. En este trabajo nos proponemos, desde una perspectiva antropológica, avanzar en una sistematización del proceso de reforma en el campo de la salud mental en la provincia de Santa Fe a partir de la sanción de esta ley, identificando acontecimientos y actores clave en este proceso. The development and consolidation of the mental health field in Argentina was linked to the processes of reforms that took place at international scale linked to serious human rights violations committed in psychiatric institutions. Since the middle of the 20th century, the central role of the psychiatric hospital and hospitalization as the only answer to address subjective suffering began to be strongly questioned. Santa Fe was one of the pioneering provinces in mental health reform in our country, converging by the late 1980s into a new epistemological, methodological and legal approach on public assistance to psychic suffering, that was materialised in the Provincial Law N° 10.772 in 1991. In this paper, from an anthropological perspective, we propose to systematize the reform process of the mental health field in the province of Santa Fe since the passing of this law, identifying the key events and actors in this process. Police and policing have tacitly, and at times explicitly, been normalized as aspects of library service in the U.S. As American forms of policing are exported at an international scale, this has international implications. Justification for embedded policing inside library walls has turned upon librarian and library staff conceptions of safety. This essay posits that a lack of critical engagement with the topics of policing and safety reflects the deficit of substantive discourse around antiracist pedagogy within library and information science (LIS) education and practice. The paper pairs critical research on safety and criminalization with patrons’ comments on policing and grassroots activism by LIS professionals to rethink safety as something shared between librarians, staff, patrons, and potential patrons (the community). Ongoing, organized campaigns around policing and security within libraries are documented so that their efforts, trials, and successes will engender further research and set a marked precedent of how LIS education and professions can reevaluate the role of policing and police in library settings everywhere.

One of the botanic gardens businesses is socializing cultivated plants from the garden to be further utilized, especially for reforestation (and other conservation purposes), research and educational purposes. This socialization can be conducted through seeds exchange and plant (and parts) that transferred for various users. Cibodas Botanic Gardens (CBG), as one of the Indonesian botanic gardens, is also conducted this activity. Plant materials and so the data needed for these purposes are recorded in the material(s) transfer agreement (MTA). The study aimed to analyze the number, type, and species of transferred plant materials and the data, the background of the applicants and for what purpose of the materials is needed based on MTA’s documents. This study conducted through a quantitative descriptive method based on the materials transferred from 2013 to 2018. The results described that, for six years, the number of MTA was 86 documents, with 81 applicants. The applicants from local were 92.6% and foreign such as from China, Netherlands and Japan were 7.4%. For six last years, the transferred materials included 1,205 in the form of living plants, 201 specimens in form of herbarium, 8,605 specimens in the form of seeds, many thousands various unit of part of plant, plant propagation unit and other plant materials (i.e. mycorrhiza, fungi/ lichen/ moss, rhizoid and thallus, and ascoma), and 63 unit in the form of data and other information. One way to measure the development of a country in the main international scale assessment is the PISA (Programme International for Student Assesment). The thinking process of students in solving PISA standard problems can be analyzed using the theory of Assimilation and Accommodation. The approach used in this study is qualitative with the type of case study. The data analyzed in the form of the results of the subject's work when solving problems with PISA standards and the results of interviews with the research subjects. The subject of this study was a prospective student of mathematics at IAIN Tulungagung. The results of the study indicate that the thinking process of students when solving PISA standard problems includes: (a) assimilation: that is, students can directly apply their knowledge to the problems to obtain solutions to problems; and (b) accommodation: i.e. students modify their knowledge to be adapted to existing problems and form new knowledge to suit existing problems.

Major financial institutions operate in different regions of the world facing different regulatory landscapes for Supply Chain risks. In this environment, the optimization issue arises how to best comply with the different regulations and reaching cost efficiency at the same time. In this research, the international regulatory landscape for Supply Chain risks of Financial Institutions is introduced and compared internationally. It is understood as an integral part of Supply Chain Risk Management of Financial Institutions, yet the latter is analysed as the research background. Additionally, expert interviews are conducted in order to link the regulation analysis to the current challenges that Financial Institutions face. Finally, recommendations are developed on how banks can be cost efficient, while remaining regulatory compliant, facing increased international regulation in the area of Supply Chain Risk Management. The outcome of the underlying research shows that banking regulation in the area of Supply Chain risks is an important lever in the banking sector to secure customers and financial markets. However, the regulatory landscape is heterogeneous and not consistent on an international scale. Regulation in Asia is highly diverse across different countries due to different states of economic development. The US applies a rather pragmatical approach towards supply chain risk regulation applying different standards of standard setting institutions. Lastly, the EU is very restrictive and strives to unify regulation across member states. Banks should follow a consistent management approach keeping in mind international locations and the strictest regulatory environment they are operating in, to improve cost efficiency yet being regulatory compliant. Also, collaboration with and amongst regulators and other banks internationally is recommended for improved cost efficiency.

This research paper is focused on the competitive market map as the key tool for classifying enterprises (or countries) in terms of their shares and market positions, as well as on the competitiveness of the Slovak Republic at the international level through the GCI index. This article has three main sections, with first concentrating on a literature review of the issue of competitiveness as the crucial term in this paper. The second main part deals with the competitive market map, in which numerous equations can be found to aid in understanding the problem of competition as a whole. This part also contains a section on the matrix compilation of the competitive market map. The third main section of the article deals with competitiveness measurement in the global world with the emphasis on the Slovak Republic. Here an evaluation of countries through the Global competitiveness index as well as a SWOT analysis of enterprise competitiveness in the Slovak Republic is presented. The Slovak position competitiveness ranking of 41st shows an improvement over previous years, although several challenging issues remain to be resolved by the national government in the near future. The main goal of this article is to evaluate the competitiveness of Slovak Republic on the international scale based on the competitive market map, a tool which is used as the basis for an evaluation of the competitive position of a particular firm as well as that of a particular nation.

The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI), opened in August 2016, provides free resources, services, experts, and ideas for creating and sustaining science gateways. It offers five areas of services to the science gateway developer and user communities: the Incubator, Extended Developer Support, the Scientific Software Collaborative, Community Engagement and Exchange, and Workforce Development. While all these areas are available to US-based communities, the Incubator, the Scientific Software Collaborative and the Community Engagement and Exchange also serve international communities. We aim to reach out and support gateways on an international scale by forming and deepening collaborations with partner organizations and coalitions beneficial and/or related to the science gateways community. Research topics are independent of national borders and researchers spread worldwide can benefit from each other’s research results, software, data and from lessons learned — via online materials and publications or at international events. The gateway community has long benefited from this type of exchange. This paper will present related work describing the benefits of international collaborations generally, and specifically as they relate to science gateways. We go into detail regarding SGCI’s ongoing work on an international scale and its work planned in the near future.

Der vorliegende Text setzt sich mit der aktuellen Situation der Forschungen zu deutschen Kontaktvarietaten im nicht-deutschsprachigen Ausland auseinander. Grundlage der Betrachtungen bildet die dritte „German Abroad“-Tagung, die unter dem Titel „Kontaktvarietaten des Deutschen im Ausland“ im Marz 2018 an der Universitat Erfurt stattfand und in enger Verbindung mit dem Projekt „Ungarndeutsches Zweisprachigkeits- und Sprachkontaktkorpus“ UZSK steht, das am Lehrstuhl fur Germanistische Sprachwissenschaft der Universitat Erfurt bearbeitet wird. Ein zentrales Ziel des Beitrags ist es, Impulse zur Perspektivenerweiterung sowie zur Methodengenerierung im behandelten Problembereich zu geben, auf dem Weg zur paradigmatischen Etablierung einer vergleichenden Sprachinselforschung im internationalen Masstab.Contact varieties of German abroad: Building blocks and impulses for a comparative language island researchThe text at hand is dealing with the present situation regarding research of German contact varieties in non-German-speaking countries. The observations are based on the 3rd “German Abroad” conference, which took place in march 2018 at the University of Erfurt under the title “Contact Varieties of German Abroad”. The conference was also closely connected to the project “Corpus of bilingual speech and language contact by speakers of German varieties in Hungary” UZSK associated with the Chair of German Linguistics of the University of Erfurt. A pivotal goal of this paper is to suggest new ideas and approaches for the broadening of perspectives as well as the development of newmethods in the discussed problem areas towards to the paradigmatic establishment of a comparative language island research on an international scale.

For significantly longer, social determinants of health have featured in multiple national and international reports, and their devastating impacts on societies, both nationally and globally, are still being experienced. The time for rhetoric has long gone. Instead, unprecedented action is needed to bring this to the fore of all governments across the globe. The World Health Organization, International Council of Nurses and the United Nations have done much to raise awareness of the need for change and make it clear that the nursing profession can contribute to take positive action. The provision of good healthcare should not be reliant on where you live and work, but should be available to everyone. This article will explore the difference that nurses can make to the everyday lives of those we care for, and in improving equal access to healthcare for everyone.

This is a research entitled "The statement due to the zakat of the fitr." The subject of the research relates to one of the five pillars of Islam, zakat, which makes it the highest importance, and Islam has initiated zakat to achieve great purposes, the greatest of which is the achievement of social justice, and this can only be achieved by spending zakat in its banks identified by the wise street. This research is related to the appointment of a zakat of the fitr, government and private institutions have been concerned with precise controls to identify the beneficiaries of the zakat of the fitr, and on the international scale, this issue is receiving great attention, because the whole world is destined to address the phenomenon of poverty. This topic has received many studies from forensic jurists and jurists, but scientific research is never interrupted, and each researcher has his own style and opinions, and this enriches the scientific output in terms of abundance and diversity. The search plan consists of an introduction, and four investigations. The first topic: the definition of the terms related to research, the second topic: the amount of wealth preventing the taking of zakat. The article analyzes the concept of “the limits to growth”, examines the main reasons for the slowdown in China's economic development in recent years. Special attention is paid to the problems of environmental pollution and lack of resources. Among the problems concerning environmental pollution there are both domestic problems such as air, water and soil pollution, and problems of an international scale. With regard to the problem of lack of resources, special attention is paid to China's dependence on imports of resources, which causes security problems due to the large number of exporting countries. Besides, the article describes the steps that China is taking to move to a new model of economic growth, in terms of institutional reforms, resource management and innovation in the field of green technologies, by taking the path of “green” sustainable development.
