This study focuses on psychometric validity & reliability of a new self-report measure of well-being skills. Our goal is to collect validation evidence for a new teen-focused measure of well-being skills. This self-report measure, designed to be used by researchers and educators, draws on findings from contemplative science that well-being develops from employing skills that can be learned. These skills support healthy and successful functioning in teens, including meta-cognition, self-control, curiosity, perseverance, and healthy relationships. In this study, we plan to address two questions about the measure: (1) how similar it is to existing related questionnaires (convergent validity) (2) whether scores are the same when someone takes the measure again at a different time (test-retest reliability)
