Ethical leadership and its impact on the behavior of employees has emerged as an important issue for contemporary organisations, especially within the banking and finance industry. This research makes a contribution to the ethical leadership literature by addressing three under-researched areas. First, this thesis contributes to the extant research on ethical leadership theory by unpacking the process through which ethical leadership influences employee performance. By unpacking the boundary factors through which ethical leadership influences employee in-role performance, this research contributes to understanding of the ethical leadershipperformance chain as a situational process in which ethical climate, organisational identification, customer orientation and service climate play an important role. Second, this study has attempted to unpack the process through which ethical leadership can influence employee in-role performance through service climate and customer orientation. Third, this research examined ethical leadership in banks. The findings of this study have implications for leaders and human resources managers in the banking and finance sector. We explored digital diplomacy, an evolving field, focusing on the digital engagement strategies of India and Mongolia from 2012 to 2022 through a quantitative analysis of secondary data sourced from social media platforms. We investigated how these countries utilized digital tools to shape their international relations, highlighting the impact of digital diplomacy on traditional diplomatic practices and the potential for enhancing public diplomacy. By examining parameters such as post frequency and engagement rates, significant differences were determined to suggest strategic improvements for Mongolia. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the internal control system and quality governance in a State University, Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU). The 110 Administrative Council of LSPU were the respondents, and the survey questionnaire was used to measure the level of implementation of Internal Control System components such as Control environment, Risk Assessment, Control Activities, Information and Communication and Monitoring and the observance of elements of governance such as Transparency, Accountability, Participation and Predictability in LSPU. The findings showed a significant relationship between Internal Control System and quality Governance. Monitoring, Information and Communication components significantly impacted the sustainability of quality governance. The researcher recommended a more comprehensive assessment of the internal control system, with a focus on monitoring and information and communication, which negatively affect governance quality. Digital-virtual environments focused on LGBTQ+ themes constitute important spaces for accessing and sharing information, by converging content on dissident and historically marginalized existences, evoking their culture and memory, in addition to giving visibility to their narratives from multiple perspectives. Such environments demand studies that analyze the main characteristics present in the structuring, access, and sharing of information for possible improvements in infocommunication processes. The convergences between Information Design and Digital Curation, aligned with Experience Design, make it possible to analyze aspects inherent to the structuring, organization, and presentation of information in digital-virtual environments. In this way, the objective was to explore national and international initiatives for communicating information on LGBTQ+ issues; identify and describe the presence of Information Design elements, converged with Digital Curation, from the perspective of Experience Design, and verify the contributions of the intersection of said disciplines to the optimization of access, sharing and appropriation of information in a digital-virtual environment. The methodology used was qualitative in nature and had a theoretical and exploratory-descriptive approach, through the application of the Design Thinking method in the Empathy, Definition, and Ideation phases. The results demonstrated that the resources arranged in the environments correspond to the use of sign representations specific to the specific cultural context, visible through characteristic vocabulary, articulation of icons, and structured representative colors, through a multimodal language. Background: To overcome knowledge gaps and optimize long-term follow-up (LTFU) care for childhood cancer survivors, the concept of the Survivorship Passport (SurPass) has been invented. Within the European PanCareSurPass project, the semiautomated and interoperable SurPass (version 2.0) will be optimized, implemented, and evaluated at 6 LTFU care centers representing 6 European countries and 3 distinct health system scenarios: (1) national electronic health information systems (EHISs) in Austria and Lithuania, (2) regional or local EHISs in Italy and Spain, and (3) cancer registries or hospital-based EHISs in Belgium and Germany. Objective: We aimed to identify and describe barriers and facilitators for SurPass (version 2.0) implementation concerning semiautomation of data input, interoperability, data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity. Methods: IT specialists from the 6 LTFU care centers participated in a semistructured digital survey focusing on IT-related barriers and facilitators to SurPass (version 2.0) implementation. We used the fit-viability model to assess the compatibility and feasibility of integrating SurPass into existing EHISs. Results: In total, 13/20 (65%) invited IT specialists participated. The main barriers and facilitators in all 3 health system scenarios related to semiautomated data input and interoperability included unaligned EHIS infrastructure and the use of interoperability frameworks and international coding systems. The main barriers and facilitators related to data protection or privacy and cybersecurity included pseudonymization of personal health data and data retention. According to the fit-viability model, the first health system scenario provides the best fit for SurPass implementation, followed by the second and third scenarios. Conclusions: This study provides essential insights into the information and IT-related influencing factors that need to be considered when implementing the SurPass (version 2.0) in clinical practice. We recommend the adoption of Health Level Seven Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources and data security measures such as encryption, pseudonymization, and multifactor authentication to protect personal health data where applicable. Purpose - This study aims to determine the learning rate of Islamic religious education in the new-normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic in the coastal areas of Serang Regency. The constantly growing use of information technology has made most students reluctant to go to school. Design/methods/approach – This study is qualitative research. This research approach is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The number of informants in this study included students, teachers, and the community as parents of students. The respondent selection technique used purposive sampling, where the number of informants was 90% of the total sample. Findings - The findings in this study have included the use of a home visit strategy for post-pandemic learning continuity, where most students were reluctant to go to school and many students were contaminated with online games. The home visit method is a real form of visiting students one by one to provide understanding to parents and students about online learning, as well as a form of direct monitoring of the student learning process. Research implications/limitations – This research highlights how the educational process of the new normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic was in the coastal area of Serang Regency. Supposedly, the coastal area is a geographical location far from urban conditions, making the infrastructure aspect still very limited. Originality/value - This study presents the serious impact that occurred in the coastal area of Serang Regency when the learning process took place after the COVID-19 pandemic. Ranging from the personal pick-up strategy to numerous students who were reluctant to go to school to many students who were contaminated by online games.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an integral part in educational programs across the globe. Despite its prominent benefits in education perceived by most educators and administrators, key challenges to ICT adoption in educational management still exist. This study aims to review international experiences in applying ICT in educational administration and related policies in Vietnam. The research results show that while perceptions of the importance of ICT application in educational administration are diverse, ICT application has significant impacts on educational administration. Moreover, ICT application is effective in educational management in both general and higher education. The study also identifies several challenges affecting ICT application. Additionally, policies in ICT application in educational administration in Vietnam are discussed. In conclusion, the research proposes several recommendations to have effective policies on the application of ICT in Vietnamese educational administration.

Objectives This study aimed to analyze the outcomes of the Comprehensive Health and Social Need Assessment (CHSNA) system, which identifies community residents’ health and social needs, and to link these needs with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF). Methods Adult community residents in a metropolitan city in Korea were recruited. They were asked to assess their health and social needs via the CHSNA system, which was integrated into an online community-care platform. Three assessment steps (basic health assessment, needs for activities of daily living, and in-depth health assessment) associated with five ICF components were used to evaluate physical health impairment, difficulties in activities and participation, and environmental problems. The final list of health and social needs was systematically linked to the domains and categories of the ICF. Only data from participants who completed all three assessment steps were included. Results Wide ranges of impairments and difficulties regarding the daily living activities, physical health, and environmental status of the community were recorded from 190 people who completed assessments of their health and social needs by the CHSNA system. These participants reported various health and social needs for their community life; common needs corresponded to the ICF components of body functions and activities/participation. Conclusions The ICF may be suitable for determining the health-related problems and needs of the general population. Possible improvements to the present system include providing support for completing all assessment steps and developing an ICF core set for an enhanced understanding of health and social needs.

Recent transformations in Information and Communication Technologies have raised concerns about the representation and presentation of information in its various means of creation, storage and sharing, especially after the emergence of Web 2.0, in which information is not only found in static modalities, but dynamic and hypertextualized. Among the various resources and forms of interaction present in Web 2.0, Folksonomy stands out, a form of indexing or categorizing informational objects carried out collaboratively in Web environments. The present study's general objective is to analyze the importance of Folksonomy for Information Science. The specific objectives are: to build a theoretical framework on Folksonomy and Web 2.0 in the context of Information Science; study the concept of Folksonomy and its typologies; understand Folksonomy as a practice arising from Web 2.0. This is a qualitative, theoretical and exploratory study. A bibliographical survey and a literature review were carried out to create a theoretical framework that responded to the objectives of the study. Based on the analysis of published literature on Folksonomy, it can be stated that it provides greater participation from communities of interest in general, and can be a relevant object of study for future research in the area of Information Science. Research at BUMDesma Bangkit Mandiri Sejahtera (BMS) Nita District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province aims to analyze the variables of the type of business and beneficiaries, business models, governance, access to information and technology, challenges, business development strategy, contribution to local government, poverty alleviation, SDGs indicators including village SDGs. This study uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, observation and study of documents as well as analysis using content analysis. The results of the research show that BMS has not been optimal in implementing business models according to the Radyati-Rio Clocwise Social Model Business Plan, governance according to ISO 26000, and utilization of access to information, and technology. challenges and business development, but BMS also contributes to the regional government, poverty alleviation efforts, and achievement of SDGs indicators 1, 2, and 8 as well as village SDGs 8 and 12. Strengthening capacity, evaluating employee and organizational performance, managing data, and information, and mastering technology need to be done to be able to compete. The article considers the existing theoretical approaches to the explication of political security, highlighted such its component as information and political security, and this author's interpretation of the latter. The limits of the information-political security, allowing to separate it from other types of security, depending on the information are established. Objective: To investigate the panorama of the use of graphic resources for health information in the context of Covid-19 and the role of Information Design contributions, in convergence with Information Science, in this context. Method: The investigation was carried out from theoretical-exploratory research of a qualitative nature with bibliographic searches in the Portal de Periódicos Capes. Articles published in peerreviewed journals in the last two years (03/2020 - 03/2022), which bring questions related to graphic resources in the context of Covid-19 in the title and in the abstract were selected, to discuss the proposed issues according to the objectives of the article. Result: The search carried out on the Capes Periodicals Portal retrieved 87 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, from which 55 addressed discussions related to graphs and information visualization in the context of Covid-19. The articles were categorized according to the approach to related or similar topics and systematized in five tables. Conclusions: We were able to draw an overview of publications on graphic approaches related to Covid-19, which indicates that the use of graphic resources to understand phenomena in the health area remains relevant from the first records of these resources until the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The agriculture sector needs precise data and advanced technology in a digitally informed scenario. The agriculture industry is being advanced with the support of information and communication technologies, such as the internet of things. Advanced sensors can be applied for specific agricultural management practices like insect management, disease management, land preparation, irrigation systems, and the control of smart farms and smart greenhouses. The concept of Intencionality essentially encompasses the sociocognitive background of informational subjects who under the influence of different contexts (political, social, economic, technological) produce, interpret, mediate, use, and appropriate information based on their behaviors, skills, abilities, and experiences. In today's modern world, globalization has completely changed the way of working. How we live, learn, work, and even define work has changed due to new information and communication technologies. It can be stated that human capital fuels the modern economy, but in reality, the information and communication technology revolution has turned intelligence into a valuable commodity. This research is based on the low mathematical representation ability of students and the lack of textbooks used by teachers in presenting teaching material. This study aims to describe the results of the development of information technology-based teaching materials to improve the mathematical representation ability of students in class X Trigonometry Function Materials that are valid, practical, and effective. The model used in this research development is the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments used in this article are validation sheets (validity aspects), teacher assessment sheets and student assessment sheets (practical aspects), and mathematical representation ability tests (effectiveness aspects). Analysis of the data used in this research is parametric statistics, the t-test with the help of SPSS 18.00 using the Independent-Sample t-Test. The research is to study the introduction of ICT in secondary schools in Nigeria. ICT in education is a tool par excellence that a nation can count on to create self-reliance. The study observed that, Nigeria is still experiencing a delay in its implementation of ICT, and this continues to expand the divides between digital and information, and access to ICT facilities is a major challenge facing Nigerian schools. The study concludes that although ICT can play a role in education, schools in Nigeria are yet to adopt it extensively for teaching and learning. Efforts to incorporate ICT into the school system didn't have much impact, Problems such as poor policy, strategies for implementing the projects and poor information infrastructure are militating against these efforts. The study recommends that the government should make efforts to post and provide ICT-qualified teachers to each school to impart ICT skills to the pupils, and also to stabilize Nigerian electricity supply. Information overload has caused marked changes in the way people seek information and, in turn, have reshaped society, especially in digital information environments such as libraries and museums. The aim of this study was to present and discuss three innovative and creative museum communication projects: Hyper-Interaction within Physical Space; Cultural Heritage Information Personalization; and SMARTMUSEUM, based on the conceptual model of experience design. This is an epistemological and exploratory bibliographic research, in which a theoretical framework based on Information Design and Experience Design is presented in the context of museum communication in hybrid environments. Strategic actions of museological communication should rely on the use of Information Systems, the use of innovations and Information and Communication Technologies. With the presentation of these projects we synthesize some innovations that contemplate creative scientific approaches, thus orienting the decision-making processes in the construction of the strategies and the dynamic steps necessary for the development of a communication plan for the efficient digital museum environment, and consequently is able to promote a satisfactory experience. Dory Reiling Ph.D. Mag.Iur. (1950) is a retired senior judge at the Amsterdam District Court. She was in charge of designing the digital procedures in the civil courts in the Netherlands. She was a seniorjudicial reform specialist at the World Bank and IT program manager for the Netherlands judiciary. She regularly lectures on court IT at universities, judicial academies and postgraduate schools and works as an IT adviser to judiciaries around the world. She is also a co-author of the World Bank Handbook on Justice Sector Assessments. She was the acting expert for the Consultative Council of European Judges (Council of Europe) Opinion 14 on information technologies and the courts. The purpose of this paper is to investigate cognitive aspects of Information Design that should be considered in the design of eHealth environments, taking into account the degrees of health literacy of the communities to which they are intended. The characteristics of eHealth, the relationships between health and technology and the studies in Information Design related to the thematic are related, in convergence with Information Science. The provision of health information in both analogue and digital media does not necessarily mean a change in self-care and prevention habits due to the different degrees of health literacy of the people who access it. There are specific aspects in the provision of health information on the Web that should be taken into account in the Design of eHealth environments. This type of information must be presented and represented according to criteria and guidelines specifically geared to these environments, which are derived from studies that consider the cognitive load and degree of health literacy required for the processing of certain information formats in the communicational process in this context. Certain factors, such as the lack of jargon and the format of the text, the use of graphic resources in the presentation and representation of information and audio-visual modalities require less cognitive effort in information processing and are therefore more appropriate for people with different levels of health literacy. The article is based on research that seeks to verify the role of Information Design in the Digital Curation of Museu da Pessoa in Web 2.0, and the objective is to reflect on its museological fact, life stories. In times of extended custody, Museu da Pessoa stands out as a dynamic, interactive and collaborative memorial system. Planned in and for Digital Curation, Information Design facilitates the indexing of informational content as well as the graphic organization of such content, both top-down and bottom-up, so that subjects not only recognize life stories as an object, but also recognize them as human beings who are active in the information process, reinforcing identity links through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The need to acknowledge new means and strategies for Digital Curation in museum institutions in the scope of Information Science justifies this article with which we expect to enhance the understanding of the Museum as a model for the preservation and interaction with life stories, autobiographical narratives, understood in this context as cultural goods and memory heritage. As a result of the study, it is verified that, through its methodologies and in convergence with Information Science, Information Design creates a simulacrum of online, flowing and ubiquitous museum in addition to the conditions for Digital Curation (top -down) aiming at the representation and preservation of digital cultural objects, as well as their access to the institution's information agents and bottom-up users, interactively, in the Web 2.0. With the evolution of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and studies of the data life cycle phases of collection, storage, retrieval and disposal of data, emerging data visualization as an element that can bridge the gap between the producer and the consumer, especially in family farmers. Information Science can contribute conducting research and studies on the aspects involved in the data life cycle, facilitating the popularization access to this knowledge. The objective of this paper is to show how ICT can contribute to the provision of information about the family farmers to consumers, presenting a resource for data visualization. Used as a source of data recovery, the information present on the site of CoDAF (Digital Skills for Agriculture Producers) extension project at UNESP - Tupa.

The guarantee of long-term digital preservation will only be possible with the effective implementation of metadata standards or schemas, because these will determine the description, representation, consistency and persistence of the digital resource/object in information environments, as well as defining interoperability between systems. The adoption of metadata for preservation supports the management of processes for the archiving and maintenance of access to digital information in the long term, guaranteeing authenticity, integrity and reliability. In this scenario, the aim of this study was to identify and describe metadata standards or schemas that could be considered by institutions that are developing their institutional repositories, so that digital preservation might be addressed. To that end, a literature review, and its systematization and content analysis were carried out. The following metadata standards and schemas were selected and analyzed: DUBLIN CORE (DC), MODS, EAD, ANSI/NISO Z39.87, METS and PREMIS. The results indicate that the descriptive and technical metadata DC, MODS, EAD and ANSI/NISO Z39.87 or MIX have a role that is more directed to supporting METS and PREMIS, both in discovering and recording the technical aspects of digital objects, and in the proof of its provenance, authenticity, context and integrity. Encompassing descriptive, structural, administrative and preservation metadata of PREMIS, METS can manage digital objects acting as a Submission Information Package (SIP), Archival Information Package (AIP) or Dissemination Information Package (DIP) in an Open Archival Information System (OAIS). Research policies ensuing from the Convention on Biological Diversity made huge funds available to study biodiversity. These were mostly dedicated to projects aimed at providing services to taxonomy via information and technology, or to develop “modern”, i.e., molecular, approaches to taxonomy. Traditional taxonomy was overly neglected and is in serious distress all over the world. It is argued that both novel and traditional ways to study biodiversity are essential and that the demise of traditional taxonomy (based on phenotypes) in the era of biodiversity is the result of an unwise policy, mainly fostered by portions of the scientific community that aim at taking total advantage of the funds dedicated to the study of biodiversity.

A representação descritiva no panorama atual vem sofrendo mudanças notórias nos modelos de descrição bibliográfica convencionais, permeadas pelas tecnologias de informação e comunicação, o que conduz a ou requer olhares diferenciados no tratamento dos recursos informacionais. Destaca-se que há forte tendência para a disponibilização de conteúdos digitais e falta de uso de padrões adequados para a representação e a descrição desses recursos em ambientes informacionais digitais. A iniciativa MarcOnt surge no bojo da Web semântica, como um padrão de descrição bibliográfica semântica com vistas a representar e descrever recursos informacionais mais exaustivamente e mais bem explicitados para compreensão e entendimento semântico pelas máquinas. Procura-se demonstrar a aplicação da ferramenta MarcOnt em ambiente informacional específico, a Biblioteca Digital Semântica JeromeDL, para analisar, à luz dos fundamentos da catalogação, as formas de representação dos recursos informacionais. Por meio de uma metodologia de revisão de literatura, objetiva-se identificar e caracterizar o uso e a aplicação do MarcOnt enquanto ferramenta para a construção de formas de representação da informação para bibliotecas digitais e para a Web na atualidade. O MarcOnt apresenta-se como uma iniciativa para os novos modelos de colaboração e compartilhamento de recursos informacionais, na elaboração completa e complexa da descrição bibliográfica, seguindo seu percurso natural sob o auspício da catalogação.Descriptive representation has changed the conventional models of bibliographic description because of Information and Communication Technologies, demanding different approaches of information resources. There is a strong tendency to offer digital content and a lack of use of proper standards to represent and describe these information resources in digital environments. The MarcOnt initiative emerged from Semantic Web as a standard of bibliographic semantics in order to represent and describe information resources for the semantic interpretation by the machines. This study seeks to demonstrate the application of the MarcOnt tool in a specific information environment - JeromeDL Semantic Digital Library - in order to review according to the foundations of the Cataloging the forms of representing information resources. Through the literature review, this research aims at identifying and characterizing the usage and application of MarcOnt as a tool that builds forms of representing information for digital libraries and the Web. MarcOnt presents itself as an initiative for the new models to share information resources, developing comprehensive and complex bibliographic description, following its natural course under the auspices of the Cataloging.

Background: The term ""e-health"" refers to all technological applications in the delivery of a more affordable, high-speed, and widely accessible mode of health care. It is a definite solution to managing the public's health and well-being during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, and doctors from all fields of expertise are required to be at par with it in terms of knowledge, attitude, and readiness to use it to their advantage under the current circumstances., Materials and Method: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among the faculty, postgraduates, and interns of the medical and dental schools of a university, which used an expert-validated self-administered questionnaire assessing knowledge, attitude, and readiness to use e-health., Results: Among the 400 participants, it was observed that the categories of age ( P < 0.0001), gender ( P = 0.018), designation ( P = 0.031), and years of service ( P < 0.0001) have significant differences across the groups. It was seen that the mean e-health knowledge (3.55 ± 0.52) and mean attitude (2.42 ± 0.59) to use e-health were more in dentists while participants from the medical field showed higher mean readiness (1.97 ± 0.58) to use e-health in daily practice. It was observed that male professionals had more mean knowledge (3.54 ± 0.60) than female professionals (3.43 ± 0.52) while female participants had more mean e-health readiness (1.96 ± 0.57)., Conclusion: In a broad sense, the majority of participants responded positively to using e-health in their everyday practice. While medical doctors have a stronger outlook and preparedness, dentists showed more literacy and a supportive attitude to adopting e-health and telemedicine.
