The study of computer-related careers is a perfect opportunity for young people due to the high impact that technology has today since there is an increase in job opportunities for qualified personnel in this area. In addition to having a high offer of jobs, most of these are the best paid today. The most encouraging part of preparing in this area is that in the immediate future, it is envisioned to continue with this demand and have a career that will not be absorbed by automation and the development of artificial intelligence. On the other hand, the means of communication where young people can find out about the academic offer are isolated, or they must have a clear idea of a university, or it is generally achieved by recommendation of another professor or by having seen a lecture by a particular professor. Notice that students do not have a general vision of the academic offer. This article presents an initiative to concentrate information on careers related to Computing in Mexico and presents statistics on the data collected. This study aims to present an academic offer to young people in careers related to computing. The academic degrees are bachelor's/engineering, master's, and doctoral. The data presented corresponds to 33 bachelor's/engineering, 30 master's, and 21 doctoral programs. The careers related to computing and information technology most offered in Mexico in 2022 were: computer systems engineering and computer engineering. The purpose of this literature review was to perform an analysis of Computational Thinking (CT) definitions, aiming to find points of convergence among the 62 analyzed definitions. The publication year, authors, and country of origin of the first author were considered as variables to understand the behavior of the CT construct, assuming different perspectives proposed from 2006 to 2022. To achieve this purpose, five sources of information were reviewed, and 62 articles that presented a definition of CT were selected. According to the results, the years with the highest number of proposals were 2015 and 2017. The countries with the most publications featuring definitions were the United States, followed by Spain. The most representative authors were Jeannette Marie Wing, Cynthia Selby, and Francisco José García-Peñalvo. Regarding the analysis of the words, two lines stand out: one corresponds to approaches related to informatics, computing, technology, or programming, and the other assumes the absence of these terms. It is important to highlight the prominence of the word "problem(s)," which appeared with a frequency of 89% in the analyzed articles' definitions, and the word "solve(s)" with 54%. In line with the results, it is concluded that there is diversity in the proposals to define CT, making it challenging to find a point of convergence. The growing digitalization of administrative processes is presented as an irreversible trend in the management of data processed at all times by public administration and private companies; In this context of rapid technological changes, the objective of the research was to determine current trends in the use of informatics applied to administration processes; objective that is justified by the reason that computing is the science of methods, techniques and processes to store, process and transmit information in digital format. Methodologically, the research was developed as an essay developed through the critical examination of documentary sources published in high-impact scientific journals and authoritative academic sources on the subject. The results obtained allow us to conclude that current trends in the use of computing in management processes are constantly evolving, focusing on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation and new generation computing. The article addresses the need for an interactive platform to represent service indicators at the Alfonso Villagómez Román Pediatric Hospital in Ecuador. A web application was developed in R Shiny to improve the visualization of these indicators. The objectives included the creation of the application, design of data warehouses, loading of relevant information and integration into administrative management. The justification lies in the importance of efficient management of hospital indicators and the technological potential in health. These indicators are crucial for evaluating the quality of healthcare and supporting informed decisions. The methodology ranges from planning to evaluation, with R Shiny for its ability to create interactive visualizations. The results include a successful web application, organized data warehouses and an integration of the hospital's administrative management. In conclusion, this work achieved its objective by creating a valuable tool for management and decision-making in the hospital environment, thus contributing to more efficient administration and optimization of resources. Archaeologists seek to improve our understanding of the past by studying, preserving, protecting, and sharing nonreplaceable archaeological resources. Archaeological collections hold information that can assist these aims as long as they are properly cared for, identified, and accessible. One of the most serious barriers is the lack of large-scale coordinated efforts to make archaeological collections findable and accessible. This article suggests that developing and implementing the use of a standardized set of attributes regarding collections provides solutions and strategies to find collections. These attributes can connect and standardize existing archaeological collections from a variety of sources (federal and state agencies, CRM firms, Indigenous and descendant communities, and academic departments), serving the profession in multiple ways. Most critically, the baseline data can be synthesized to inform and direct priorities for future fieldwork, thereby decreasing redundancy in archaeological collections and improving curation efforts nationwide. Such efforts would also provide a resource to students and researchers looking to understand and interpret the past at multiple scales by encouraging more collections-based research and less archaeological site destruction. Access for descendant communities will also be improved with information about their cultural heritage. The article presents the state of the art and methodology of the doctoral research project "Framework for modeling and simulation of maritime cyberdefense - MARCIM". The state of the art defined the background of the research problem, the state of scientific activity, trends and challenges related to MARCIM: cyberdefense, modeling and simulation in cyber security and cyberdefense; and maritime cybersecurity and cyberdefense. The methodology was established with a focus on modeling complex systems, by phases and application actors. The article mainly concludes that maritime cyberdefense at a strategic level behaves like a complex system, with dynamics, processes and elements that cannot be clearly identified, which require modeling and simulation, with a metaheuristic approach, to study the set of actions and interactions between its entities.
