The lack of physical activity was one of the causes of several health problems and deaths whose prevalence was increasing throughout the world. University was a gathering place for all university members including students, lecturers and teaching staff who were at risk of low physical activity and other lifestyle behaviors. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh (IMT), status sosial ekonomi dan motivasi terhadap aktivitas fisik pada usia produktif di Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. A cross-sectional method was used, and a random sampling technique was taken. The sample was 380 respondents with an age range of 20-59 years. Data analysis used the chi square test to determine the relationship between physical activity and its determinants and logistic regression to determine the predictors of physical activity. Based on 380 respondents, 47.2% were in the inactive category with an average of Metabolic Equivalent Task (METs)= 402.56 ± 121,140 and duration = 88.67 ± 59,600 per minute per week. There was a significant correlation between age, occupation, body mass index (BMI), motivation, availability of sports facilities with physical activity. Based on multivariate analysis, it was found that BMI, age and motivation had an influence on physical activity. The level of physical activity among university members was still low and there was a need for university strategies to increase knowledge and behavior to become an active campus with healthy campus campaigns, organizing health checks, championships between campus sports clubs and other strategies.

Kolesteatom kongenital dapat tumbuh di telinga tengah, apeks petrosus dari tulang temporal dan mastoid. Penyakit in biasanya ditemukan secara tidak sengaja saat melakukan tomografi komputer atau setelah ada komplikasi. Salah satu komplikasi yang sering terjadi adalah mastoiditis yang menyebabkan abses retroaurikula. Diagnosis kolesteatom kongenital ditegakkan apabila ditemukan kolesteatom tanpa perforasi membran timpani, riwayat otore maupun riwayat operasi telinga sebelumnya. Operasi adalah terapi mutlak pada kasus ini. Dilaporkan satu kasus kolesteatom kongenital dengan komplikasi abses retroaurikula pada seorang anak perempuan berusia 12 tahun. Pada pasien ini dilakukan tindakan timpanomastoidektomi dinding utuh, yang di follow up selama 3 bulan dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Abses retroaurikula merupakan salah satu komplikasi kolesteatom kongenital yang sering menjadi awal gejala adanya kolesteatom kongenital. Deteksi dini dan tatalaksana yang tepat akan memberikan hasil yang maksimal. Kata kunci: abses retroaurikula, kolesteatom kongenital, membran timpani utuh

The development in the agricultural sector required an increase in human resource capacity. The special effort can be in the form of training and skills in processing agricultural products. The research aim was to analyze the factors that influence the dynamics of horticultural farmers groups, and assessed the level of group dynamics and the independence of horticultural farmer group members. The determination of the location of the research was performed by using a qualitative descriptive method, which was performed in two locations, which were Pujon Sub-district, Malang Regency and Batu City. The research was conducted from October to November 2019. The analysis used was descriptive analysis to describe the level of group dynamics in the two regions which were Pujon Sub-district Malang Regency and Batu City. The dynamics level of horticultural farmers in each region was categorized as low (? 20%), moderate (20.1% - 40%), normal (40.1% - 60%), high (60.1% - 80.00 %) and very high (? 80%). The results showed that the dynamics value of the horticultural group in Malang City was included in the high category, which was 77.18%. While the value of group dynamics in Malang Sub-district of Pujon was 77.08% and in Batu City was 77.27%, both regions were included in the high category.

This study was aimed to prepare polyeugenol with high molecular weight and to evaluate its antibacterial and antioxidant activities. First, polyeugenol was synthesized from eugenol in the presence of H2SO4-CH3COOH (4:1) as catalyst. The synthesized polyeugenol was weighed by using viscometer, revealing its high molecular weight of (7.76–21.9) × 105 g/mol. Furthermore, the antibacterial activity of the polyeugenol was conducted against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. It was conducted by applying well diffusion method at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5% concentrations to observe inhibition zones, in which the tests showed that the antibacterial activity of the polyeugenol against S. aureus were 17.42, 17.76, 18.79, 21.42 and 22.55 mm, while those against E. coli were 15.87, 17.23, 17.56, 18.24 and 19.21 mm, respectively. In short, these results indicated a strong antibacterial activity. Then, tests on antioxidant activity against free radical DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-pycrylhydrazyl) gave the IC50 value of 80.47 µg/mL, indicating a strong antioxidant activity. Therefore, the polymer synthesized in this work has a high potential to be applied in various biomedical applications.

Three stigmastane steroids: 6-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one (1), stigmast-4-en-3-one (2), and 3-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-one (3) were successfully isolated from the acetone extract of Dryobalanps oblongifolia stem bark. The structural determination of isolated compounds was carried out on the basis of data analysis of NMR and MS spectra. In order to identify the antiplasmodial activity, the isolated compound was put to test against Plasmodium falciparum 3D7. Antiplasmodial activity of the isolated compounds showed that the IC50 values of 6-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one were 37.29 μg/mL while the IC50 values of stigmast-4-en-3-one were 43.54 μg/mL and the IC50 values of 3-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-one were 13.34 μg/mL (chloroquine phosphate was used as a positive control, IC50 0.006 μg/mL). Judging from the results, the isolated compounds were proven to demonstrate mediocre antiplasmodial activity. Compound (3) indicated a better antimalarial activity than compound (1) and (2), even though there was no satisfactory activity that indicated its ability to combat chloroquine. Therefore, it might not be developed as an antimalarial drug.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang produksi maltodekstrin dari pati umbi talas (Colocasia esculenta) menggunakan enzim alfa amilase. Tujuannya adalah untuk menghasilkan maltodekstrin dengan variasi berat pati terhadap enzim dan waktu hidrolisis terbaik yang diperlukan untuk memperoleh maltodekstrin dengan rendemen dan nilai DE ≤20. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu berat pati dan waktu hidrolisis yang masing–masing dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rendemen maltodekstrin tertinggi diperoleh pada berat pati terhadap enzim 25 g dengan nilai 54,93% dan DE 12,56. Waktu hidrolisis pati yang menghasilkan rendemen maltodekstrin tertinggi adalah pada waktu 180 menit yaitu 64,29% dengan nilai DE maltodekstrin yang diperoleh yaitu 11,37. Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang kadar protein terlarut dan gula total biskuit fugsional beras jagung fermentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu fermentasi yang memiliki kadar protein terlarut dan gula total tertinggi terhadap biskuit fungsional. Variasi waktu fermentasi untuk menentukan kadar protein terlarut dan gula total biskuit fungsional yaitu (12, 24, 36, 48 dan 60 jam). Diperoleh hasil analisis perlakuan yang terbaik terhadap biskuit fungsional adalah pada waktu fermentasi selama 60 jam dengan kadar protein terlarut 2,274% dan kadar gula total 15,114%. Sedangkan hasil analisis untuk uji organoleptik biskuit fungsional yaitu nilai kesukaan rasa tertinggi diperoleh pada waktu fermentasi selama 60 jam yaitu 5,4 (suka). Salah satu cara reproduksi tumbuhan Asystasia gangetica (L.) T. Anderson adalah menggunakan reproduksi vegetatif melalui stek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh perbedaan umur terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi stek A. gangetica. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan acak lengkap 3 perlakuan umur panen (50, 70 dan 90 hari) dengan 24 kali ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah ranting, berat batang, jumlah stek dan diameter stek pada saat panen. Data dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan uji lanjut LSD menggunakan software Ri386 versi 3.3.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman A. gangetica cenderung membentuk pola sigmoid berupa polynomial berderajat tiga. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, tanaman berumur 90 hari memiliki tinggi (128,1±12,3) dan berat batang terbaik (156,7±18,6) serta menghasilkan jumlah stek yang terbanyak (17,1±4,25) dan diameter stek terbesar (4,3±0,7). Produksi stek A. gangetica berasal dari ranting primer dan sekunder. Kata kunci: Asystasia gangetica, pertumbuhan, produksi stek, umur panen

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai ekstraksi dan karakteristik minyak biji salak (Salacca Edulis Reinw) dari salak lokal dan salak pondoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat profil asam lemak dan menentukan karakteristik kimia minyak biji salak. Ekstraksi dilakukan menggunakan metode sokhletasi dengan pelarut n-Heksan. Kadar minyak yang diperoleh adalah salak lokal sebesar 0,52% dengan berat minyak 0,13 g dan salak pondoh kadar sebesar 0,82% dengan berat minyak 0,21 g. Hasil pengukuran GC – MS minyak biji salak lokal dan salak pondoh menunjukkan hasil yang sama. Kromatogram GC – MS dua jenis salak menunjukkan hanya tiga puncak yang teridentifikasi profil asam lemak yaitu metil 14-metil-pentadekanoat, metil cis-9,cis-12-oktadekanoat (Linoleat), dan metil oktadekanoat (Stearat). Hasil karakterisasi minyak salak diperoleh bilangan asam 46.00 mg KOH/g minyak, bilangan peroksida 40 meq O2/g minyak, materi tidak tersabunkan 55,27% untuk salak lokal dan bilangan asam 56,10 mg KOH/g minyak, bilangan peroksida 60 meq O2/g minyak, materi tidak tersabunkan 61,86% untuk salak pondoh. Salah satu komponen perekonomian penting yang ada di Indonesia adalah perindustrian. Perkembangan perindustrian yang ada di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang begitu cepat. Percepatan pertumbuhan industri dapat mengakibatkan masalah bagi lingkungan. Limbah yang berasal dari Industri mengandung logam berat merupakan salah satu masalah yang bisa berdampak pada kesehatan manusia. Beberapa mikroorganisme diketahui mampu meremediasi logam berat seperti Bacillus sp dan Pseudomonas sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bakteri pengakumulasi logamberat timbal (Pb) pada saluran pembuangan limbah industry kabupaten gowa. Sampel tanah berasal dari saluran pembuangan limbah pabrik tali rafia PT. Intra Polyplast Palangga, pabrik beton PT. Cipta Beton Sinar Perkasa. Sebanyak 6 isolat bakteri berhasil diisolasi dari limbah industri dan di uji kemampuan pengakumulasi logam berat timbal (Pb) menggunakan AAS (Atomic Absorpsion Spectrophotometer), dan isolat (1mTR) bergenus Bacillus yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 7 mg/l, isolat (5mTR) bergenus Pseudomonas yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 7 mg/l, isolat (10mTR) bergenus Bacillus yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 8 mg/l, isolat (1mPB) bergenus Bacillus yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 9 mg/l, isolat (5mPB) bergenus Bacillus yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 11 mg/l, dan isolat (10mPB) bergenus Bacillus yang mampu mengakumulasi logam sebesar 9 mg/l.

This research aimed to synthesis and apply of bacterial cellulose-diethylenetriamine as a binding layer on the diffusive gradients in thin films method for preconcentration of labile metal Pb and Cd in aquatic systems and sediment of Palu Bay. The results are expected to be used for the analysis of environmental contaminants aquatic pollutant/sediment replace conventional methods. DGT method easily carried into the field and sensitive to identify certain metal ions. The results showed concentration of heavy metals dissolved in seawater for Pb between 0.024 to 0.048 mg / L, while for Cd between 0.006 to 0.015 mg / L. The concentration of Pb in sediments from 7.426 to 16.043 mg / L and Cd 0.387 to 0.950 mg / L. Partial regression analysis between Pb and Cd concentrations in water with a concentration of cadmium metals Pb and Cd in the sediments showed that the concentration of heavy metals in water has a positive correlation with the concentration of Pb and Cd in the sediment. Dihydropyrimidine derivatives possess great potential to be used as a precursor for the synthesis of wide diverse dihydropyrimidine-like derivatives. In this research, the title compounds were synthesized through the reaction between 5-acetyl-4-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-thione and 2,5-dimethoxybenzladehyde under aldol condensation condition. The title compound, (E)-3-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-{[(4-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-((E)-2,5-dimethoxystyryl)-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidin-5-yl)]}prop-2-en-1-one (yield 15%), was obtained as major product, whereas (E)-3-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-{[(4-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-2-thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro pyrimidin-5-yl)]}prop-2-en-1-one (yield 8%) as side product through vinylogous aldol condensation.

This study is aimed to know the students’perception toward the English teacher’s teaching techniques. This study was conducted in grade eight of two EFL classes of a junior high school in Indonesia. The instruments to collect the data was a Likert-scale questionnaire with five options of strongly agree to strongly disagree, while to analyze the data the researcher used descriptive statistics by finding means, standard deviation and frequency. An in-depth interview was also conducted to nine out of 60 students to scrutinize the students’ voice on their English teachers’ performance. The result of the analysis showed that the teacher in this study performed all the three techniques, controlled, semi-controlled and free technique. The finding also showed that the most frequently used technique was controlled technique, followed by a semi-controlled and free technique. Meanwhile, most of the students have positive perception toward their English teacher’s teaching techniques.

Pharmacy is one place of the pharmaceutical care with aims to practice pharmacy by pharmacists and pharmaceutical supply distribution to the public. One of the indicators use to evaluate the quality of care in pharmacies was to measure the level of customer satisfaction.This research is aimedto find out the impact of patient satisfaction towards the quality of prescription service in dispensary of pharmacy installation in Public Hospital of Luwuk, Banggai regency which is related with five dimension of quality service, which are; tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. This research was conducted used sampling method called accidental sampling using questioner with likert scale. The data was analyzed using doubled linear regression method with the total of 110 respondent. The result from these respondent showed tangible, reliability, responsiveness, Assurance and empathyvariablewhich significantly affected the satisfaction of patient, with significance score of 0,000 (P value< 0,05). Determination coefficient resulted is 0,482 which mean that the satisfaction level of patient towards the five variables is 48,2%.

A new compound belonging to a dihydrotetrazolopyrimidine derivative, that is, ethyl 5-methyl-7-(4-morpholinophenyl)-4,7-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylate, was successfully synthesized using a Biginelli reaction between 4-morpholinobenzaldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate, and 5-aminotetrazole with p-toluenesulfonic acid (pTSA) as a catalyst in ethanol under reflux. The molecular structure of the title compound was characterized on the basis of spectroscopic evidence, using FTIR, HRESI-MS, 1H- and 13C-NMR, and 2D NMR.

A one-pot multicomponent reaction has been used to synthesize the title compound, ethyl 4-[5-(methoxymethyl)furan-2-yl]-6-methyl-2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylate by PTSA catalyzed Biginelli reaction. The chemical structure of the product was confirmed by spectroscopic evidence, FTIR, HRESI-MS, 1D-, and 2D NMR.

A new compound belonging to the “heterostilbene” derivative, namely ethyl (E)-4-(2,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-6-(2,4-dimethoxystyryl)-2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylate (2), has been successfully synthesized as an unprecedented side product of the Biginelli reaction between 2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate and urea, employing PTSA as catalyst in reflux conditions and using ethanol as solvent. The molecular structure of compound (2) was established by FTIR, HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR.

The research about synthesis and characterization of chiral compounds from the rough methyleugenol with acetic acid as the catalyst has been done. The goal is to determine the content of 1-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-2-propanil acetate compound which is produced in the reaction process of metileugenol with acetic acid and to characterizased the chemical compound of the product. The results showed that the content of 1-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-2-propanil acetate compound that has been obtained was 45.87% with a molecular weight of 238.
