This paper aims to explain the unsuccessful relationship between the awareness of prominent international education brands and enrollment intention. A serial mediation model encompassing perceived congruity and brand attitude was developed and was tested using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique involving 132 respondents. The results revealed that the brand awareness must be subsequently perceived as internally congruent with the prospective students' self-image in terms of resource sufficiency before developing enrollment intention by forming the desired brand attitude. The originality of this study is that it could be the first to discuss the international universities landscape in Indonesia. In addition, the proposed model could be a plausible framework for explaining the intention to accept not only international education brands but also other brands of goods and services, hence benefiting both educational and consumer research. This paper includes generalizability as its limitation with suggestions to undertake the broader scope of studies.

The aim of the current research is to develop a STEM-based digital classroom learning model based on the 21st-century skills and characteristics of elementary school students. To enable the dissemination of this learning model, further research is needed to determine the effect of the STEM-based digital classroom learning model on the 21st century skills of elementary school students. The lack of 21st-century skills among elementary school students and the necessity for a study of the influence of higher-order thinking skills as one of the capabilities that primary school students must develop are contributing factors to this research. This advancement would lead to an understanding of how STEM and HOTS affect student's skills. This was experimental research with 100 fourth-grade students. The data analysis methods employed by SPSS included two-way ANOVA tests, homogeneity tests, normality tests and descriptive tests. The study's findings revealed that: (1) students who are taught with STEM-based digital and conventional learning models have different 21st-century skills, (2) students with high and low higher- order thinking skills have different 21st-century skills, and (3) students with high and low higher- order thinking skills who are taught with STEM-based digital and conventional learning models have a connection to 21st-century skills. Education professionals can use the implications of this research as a guide to develop 21st-century skills for elementary school students.

Introduction: Medical schools face substantial challenges in objectively selecting the best applicants, and the admission process can impact medical students’ academic performance.This study aimed to estimate the students’ academic success in the preclinical stage of undergraduate medical education using admission tests.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 1,193 students’ records from the 2014 to 2019 cohorts. The students’ admission data comprised the cohort, sex, admission track,psychological test, and academic tests. The academic success was based on the student’s end-year academic evaluation. Data were analyzed using contingency and Kendall’s tau b tests with IBM® SPSS® Statistics version 16.0 for Windows. Results: Most of the 1,193 preclinical medical students’ records included in the study were females (68.1%), from the regular admission track (78.5%), from the considered psychology test category (52.8%), and had an academic admission test of less than or equal to the median. Objective This study aimed to identify, discover and explore the characteristics of the mtDNA genomes of Cemani chicken (Gallus gallus). Methods This study used gDNA of Cemani chicken isolated from liver tissue. mtDNA sequencing was performed using WGS mtDNA analysis with nanopore technology by Oxford Nanopore Technologies GridION. Bioinformatics and data analysis were then performed. Results This study showed that the length of the mtDNA genome is 16,789 bp, consisting of two ribosomal RNA (12S rRNA, 16S rRNA), 22 transfer RNA genes (trnR, trnG, trnK, trnD, trnS, trnY, trnC, trnN, trnA, trnW, trnM, trnQ, trnl, trnL, trnV, trnF, trnP, trnT, trnE, trnL, trnS, trnH), 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs) (ND4l, ND3, COX3, ATP6, ATP8, COX2, COX1, ND2, ND1, CYTB, ND6, ND5, ND4), and a noncoding control region (Dloop). Furthermore, analysis showed there were polymorphic sites and amino acid alterations when mtDNA Cemani chicken was aligned with references from GenBank. Conclusion Site (988T>*) in Dloop genes and (328A>G) in ND3 genes which alter glycine to stop codon, were specific markers found only in Cemani chicken.

The integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-based digital learning has shown a significant impact on enhancing the 6C skills (character, citizenship, critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication) of elementary school students. This quasi-experimental study, involving 200 participants from primary schools, compared the efficacy of STEM-based digital learning against STEM-conventional methods in fostering these essential twenty-first-century skills. Data were collected through case study tests and analyzed to evaluate the differences in skill development between the two groups. The results indicate a noticeable improvement in the 6C skills among students engaged in STEM-based digital learning compared to those in STEM-conventional settings, with the former group achieving higher average scores across the skill set. These findings highlight the value of adopting STEM-based digital learning in elementary education to better prepare students with the competencies necessary for their future. This research underscores the positive influence of innovative learning models on developing critical life skills in elementary school students.

This study aims to analyze how the political engagement of novice voters in the 2024 Presidential Election at Rehobot Christian High School Palangka Raya. The largest data on voters in the 2024 Presidential Election is Generation Z, which is around 74.93%. This study uses a simple survey method on Rehobot Christian High School Palangka Raya students. The location was chosen because Rehobot Christian High School is a new school, and most of its students live in boarding schools but rarely receive political socialisation from the government or other institutions. The questionnaire consists of three aspects, namely knowledge, attitudes and political behaviour in the 2024 presidential election. The study results show that the average knowledge aspect falls into the medium category with a percentage of 46%, which indicates a potential for improvement in students' political knowledge in the 2024 presidential election. Regarding the average attitude of students regarding Political Engagement, which is included in the medium category with a percentage of 62%, there is also room for improvement in cultivating and strengthening attitudes regarding the responsibility to be involved in the presidential election. Meanwhile, from the behavioural aspect, the average student behaviour is in a very low category with a percentage of 43%, indicating a need for improvement in how novice voters actively participate in organisations or communities engaged in election volunteers.

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of practicum learning based audiovisual in improving students' learning outcomes in vocational secondary schools. At the practical level, teachers play an important role in facilitating students by designing an appropriate method, media, and material of learning which represent the actual condition of workplaces. Thus, students can gain their learning skills and experiences. Quasi-experimental research was conducted in vocational secondary schools in Surakarta city, Indonesia. The research participants were 230 students categorized into the control group and the experimental group. The results showed the effectiveness of practicum learning based audiovisual in improving students' learning outcomes effectively. The effectiveness can be proved by the average pretest score and post-test score between the control group and the experimental group. Considering its effectiveness, practicum learning based audiovisual can be used as an advanced model of learning in vocational secondary school especially in preparing students before joining the industrial circle. This research has shown the effectiveness of practicum learning based audiovisual in improving students' learning outcomes in vocational secondary schools. It can be proved by the result of an independent t-test that shows significant differences in students' learning outcomes in the control group and experimental group. Based on the results of research, the model of practicum based audiovisual learning can become an advanced model of practicum learning in vocational secondary schools, especially in non-engineering and technic majors.

Background: Working memory (WM) is a crucial element of cognitive function. A reduction in WM capacity may adversely impact the quality of life and elevate the risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases in the future. Presently, no established medication can effectively prevent cognitive decline. Objective: Over the past decade, numerous research articles have investigated the consequences of exercise on cognitive function, mainly focusing on WM in adults. Methods: Critical reading of several pieces of literature discussing exercise's effect on WM. A search for scientific articles was conducted using online databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar. Results: Exercise improves WM through neuroplasticity. Post-exercise improvement in WM can be seen in every age studied. Exercise can reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases by maintaining the integrity of the substantia alba. Conclusion: Exercise emerges as a cost-effective strategy accessible to many individuals. It can potentially prevent declines in cognitive function, positively impacting both present and future quality of life.

Prosedur Histerek-Salphingo Oovorektomi Bilateral (HTSOB) dapat menimbulkan keterjadian hormon dan mengakibatkan gangguan fungsi seksualitas pada pasien. Perawat sebagai pemberi asuhan utama berperan penting dalam memberikan edukasi untuk mencegah dampak psikologis pada pasien akibat kurangnya paparan informasi. Pada laporan kasus ini, wanita G1P1A0 berusia 45 tahun telah menjalani prosedur HTSOB dua bulan yang lalu atas indikasi pendarahan hebat dari jalan lahir ( Abnormal Uterine Bleeding ). Pasien melakukan penilaian fungsi seksualitas dengan teknik wawancara berdasarkan 6 komponen pada Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI). Pasien mengalami penurunan hasrat, gairah, lubrikasi, orgasme, dan adanya rasa nyeri saat berhubungan seksual. Namun kepuasan seksual masih dapat dirasakan secara maksimal. Pasien diberikan model edukasi PLISSIT sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan dengan durasi 30 menit untuk meningkatkan kualitas fungsi seksualnya. Pemberian model edukasi PLISSIT terbukti berpengaruh meningkatkan pengetahuan seksualitas pasca tindakan HTSOB pada pasien. Adanya tambahan pengetahuan dapat meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas seksual pasien pasca HTSOB.

Abstract Background This study presents a 4-year (January 2019–April 2023) X-band radar network-based bow echo observation over Great Bandung Indonesia. This study provides insight into the temporal and spatial variability of bow echo distribution and presents the atmospheric condition associated with the bow echo events. Temporal analysis is categorical into monthly, seasonally, and diurnal. The analysis was performed using X-band radar network and reanalysis data (ERA5). Result At least 26 bow echoes were identified across the Bandung basin from X-band radar network during the study period. From this total number of bow echoes, the observation of initiation modes is primarily generated from a weakly organized cell, with few coming from the squall line. The bow echo mostly evolved from noon until afternoon. The rainy season (December–January–February) and transition season (March–April–May) is the most frequent period of bow echo occurrence, with March being the most active month. Nevertheless, this study also found bow echo occurrence in the dry season (June–July–August). For the spatial analysis, the studied area is divided into two regions representing the eastern and western part of Bandung basin. The eastern region recorded the most intense occurrences with 14 events. The movement of bow echo in this region covered a shorter distance (average distance only 4.56 km), with all initiation modes occurring inside the region. The atmospheric condition within this region has less moisture flux, with higher CAPE and slightly higher surface temperature. Meanwhile, in the western region have different characteristics with higher moisture flux, a slight effect of CAPE and CINH, with longer distance and zonal movement direction of bow echo displacement. Conclusion These conditions indicate that local convection is the dominant mode of bow echo initiation mode in the eastern region of Bandung basin. Meanwhile, the monsoon effect influences the bow echo initiation mode in the western region. Given that the observed 4-year bow echo has different characteristics from previous studies of bow echo in mid latitudes, developing different criteria for bow echo detection in the tropics is crucial.

Objectives The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the number of patient comorbidities and the delays in seeking treatment for coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods This longitudinal study utilized secondary data from the Non-Communicable Disease Risk Factor (NCDRF) cohort study conducted in Bogor City. Individuals who participated in the NCDRF cohort study and were diagnosed with CHD within the 6-year study period met the inclusion criteria. Respondents who were not continuously monitored up to the 6th year were excluded. The final sample included data from respondents with CHD who participated in the NCDRF cohort study and were monitored for the full 6-year duration. The final logistic regression analysis was conducted on data collected from 812 participants. Results Among the participants with CHD, 702 out of 812 exhibited a delay in seeking treatment. Abstract Background Clopidogrel has been the primary choice of antiplatelet in ischemic stroke that inhibits adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-induced platelet aggregation. P-glycoprotein (P-gp) multidrug resistance-1 (MDR1) is a transmembrane efflux transporter in intestinal cells that plays a significant role in clopidogrel absorption, therefore may affect platelet aggregation. P-gp is encoded by the ABCB1 gene. This study aims to evaluate the effect of ABCB1 polymorphism on clopidogrel response variability in ischemic stroke patients and its genotype frequency. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in ischemic stroke patients who received clopidogrel between 2020 and 2023 in RSUI/RSCM. This research aims to analyze the financial and non-financial health levels of one of the Zakat institutions, Rumah Amal Salman ITB. The method used is explanatory research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The data used is secondary and primary in financial reports from Rumah Amal Salman ITB and questionnaires from 20 respondents. The research results show that the health level of the Rumah Amal Salman ITB is excellent, both in terms of financial and non-financial health, which is effective and efficient. The level of financial health includes the health of activity performance, operations, liquidity, and growth. The level of non-financial health includes general management health, risk, and Sharia compliance. The results of this research can provide a reference to the relationship between financial and non-financial performance in zakat institutions. This can inform other zakat institutions on performance elements that must be improved to realize organizational health values, which will impact increasing ZIS fund receipts.

Introduction: Stunting is a serious health problem in children, especially in developing countries. Sufficient knowledge about stunting prevention is essential for Posyandu cadres, as they play a role in providing information and support to mothers and children in the community. Objective: evaluate the effectiveness of the lecture method in increasing the knowledge of Posyandu cadres about stunting prevention in children. Method: This type of research uses a quantitative approach. In this study, using a group of health posyandu cadres, stunting knowledge was given using the lecture method. The population in the study of cadre mothers was 60 people, with a sample size of 36 people, using purposive sampling. Measuring instruments use questionnaire instruments and analysis results are in the form of descriptive data equipped with tables. Results: based on statistical test wilcoxon test Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) P Value 0.000 ≤ 0.05 means that there is an increase in knowledge between before and after educational intervention with the lecture method. Conclusion: The lecture method is effective in increasing the knowledge of Posyandu cadres about stunting prevention in children. It is hoped that the results of this study can be the foundation for a broader health education program to overcome the problem of stunting in children in the community.

Introduction: Babies with low birth weight are one of the health problems often faced by mothers and families in various countries, including Indonesia. The return of babies with low birth weights from the hospital became a critical stage in their care after a period of intensive hospitalization. Objective: Describe the mother's confidence level when planning to return a baby with a low birth weight to the hospital. Method: quantitative research with a descriptive design involving 29 respondents. This study used non-probability and consecutive sampling techniques to determine subjects who met the inclusion criteria. The measuring instrument uses the Maternal Confidence Questionnaire Instrument, and the analysis results are descriptive data equipped with tables. Results: Most of the self-confidence of mothers planning to return home with high-birth-weight babies from the hospital was high among 16 respondents (55.2%). Factors that influence a mother's confidence include previous experience caring for a child, social support from family and friends, information and education provided by medical personnel, and an adequate financial condition and environment for the care of the baby. Conclusion: The mother's self-confidence plays a crucial role in planning the return of a low-birthweight baby from the hospital. Social support, knowledge of baby care, interaction with health workers, and understanding of the baby's health condition contribute to the mother's confidence. A holistic approach involving adequate social support, information and education, and financial and environmental readiness to increase maternal confidence in caring for a low-birth-weight baby after discharge from the hospital

Background The gross domestic product (GDP) of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member states can be used to determine their overall economic growth. In order to increase GDP, all emerging nations in Southeast Asia are stating to depend on foreign direct investment (FDI), the tourism industry, international visitors visiting ASEAN member nations banking credit, and low inflation rates. High inflation is a problem that developed and developing countries will definitely face. One of the problems faced by ASEAN member countries is that most of the member countries are in the developing country category. For ASEAN member countries, high inflation levels will encourage economic instability. GDP is less than optimal because of these classic problems in developing countries so that economic growth is not as planned. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), which ASEAN established, is seen as a way to reduce unemployment, alleviate poverty by boosting the travel and tourism industry and increasing investment, as well as to offer or distribute credit to businesses at low interest rates in order to boost GDP. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze how the GDP of ASEAN member nations is affected by FDI, foreign visitors, bank credit, and inflation. s: We analyzed panel data for seven ASEAN members from 2002 to 2020. FDI, foreign tourists, banking credit, and inflation are the research factors examined as independent variables that have an impact on GDP, the dependent variable. Results The study’s findings indicate that while inflation has a large negative impact on GDP, FDI, foreign tourism, and bank credit have a considerable positive impact on GDP. Conclusions FDI, foreign tourists, bank credit, and inflation have a significant influence on GDP in ASEAN member countries.

This research aims to test and analyze the Marketing Village Development Model through Local Resources to Alleviate Poverty in Benjeng Gresik Village. The sample in the research was 15 correspondents who were related to local resources. The sampling method used in this research was to take respondents who were interested in developing existing resources in Benjeng Gresik Village. The data collection method was carried out by distributing interviews to correspondents related to the research, namely respondents in Benjeng Village, Gresik Regency. The data analysis technique is PLC. strategy analysis. The research results from this research activity provide positive results in increasing contributions to improving the economy through developing marketing villages and local resources that can improve the welfare of the people of Benjeng Village, Gresik Regency.

The competence of educational staff in information technology is essential to finishing a job at a university. Good information technology competence can help them complete the work faster and more effectively. This study investigates the influence of communication competence and education level on work productivity at Sebelas Maret University. Two hundred ten respondents were involved, consisting of 125 male and 85 female staff. Pearson correlation is used for validation, and Cronbach's alpha is used for reliability tests. This study to analyze the level of relationship and the effect of archiving video media and online learning on students' learning and innovation skills. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument. The questionnaire was distributed to vocational students who attended the archiving subject using archiving video media that had been previously developed by the researcher. The data analysis involved prerequisite test analysis including validity and reliability tests. Furthermore, the data had to meet one of the assumption tests, which was normality. The data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The results showed that (1) the use of archiving video media and online learning had a positive and significant effect on students' learning and innovation skills simultaneously, (2) the use of archiving video media had a positive and significant effect on students' learning and innovation skills, and (3) online learning had a positive and significant impact on students' learning and innovation skills. These results showed that the use of archiving video media and online learning was proven to be able to affect students' learning and innovation skills so that they can become a reference for further research.

This paper discusses a phenomenon or situation encountered at SMA Technology Pekanbaru where there is a problem of low student interest in continuing their education to higher education. Meanwhile, fostering student interest in continuing their education to higher education is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education in order to create qualified human resources in their education and for a good career in the future. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of family environment and learning achievement on student interest in continuing education to college level at SMA Technology Pekanbaru. The research uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted at SMA Technology Pekanbaru at Jl. Kubang Raya KM.1.5 Tuah Madani Village Tampan district Pekanbaru, which was carried out from June - November 2022. The research population was 43 students of class XI and XII at SMA Technology Pekanbaru in the academic year 2022/2023 so that all population is a sample. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used was descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis, which reviously passed the prerequisite analysis test. Based on the research result, it is obtained that the family environment and learning achievement have a positive and significant effect on the students’ interest in continuing education to college students at SMA Technology Pekanbaru. This means that family support and a good level of student achievement will increase students' interest in continuing their education to college.

Growth refers to changes in body size and shape, while development involves gradual mental changes over a specific period. This study focuses on language acquisition in a child aged 3 years and 8 months as a measure of child development. The acquisition of a second language (L2), such as Indonesian, mostly occurs through watching cartoons. Age 0-4 years is a period when the development of children's intelligence begins to form. This study observed two significant points to be analysed, they are phonological acquisition (that derived from the type of sound, category, and its meaning) as well as the attitude development. The child was exposed to morning cartoon with a two-hours interval daily in the morning (around 9-11 am), and their reaction were noted, which showed that there is a significant improvement through the means of surrounding environment and technology.

Abstract Background In 2019, the World Health Organization identified improving access to safe abortion as an important priority toward improving sexual and reproductive health and rights and achieving Sustainable Development Goals. One strategy for addressing this priority is strengthening access to medicines for medical abortion. All 11 countries in the South-East Asia Region have some indications for legal abortion and permit post-abortion care. Therefore, strengthening access to medical abortion medicines is a reasonable strategy for improving access to safe abortion for the Region. Methodology We applied an adapted version of an existing World Health Organization landscape assessment protocol for the availability of medical abortion medicines at the country-level in the South-East Asia Region. We collected publicly available data on the existence of national health laws, policies, and standard treatment guidelines; inclusion of medical abortion medicines in the national essential medicines list; and marketing authorization status for medical abortion medicines for each country and verified by Ministries of health. The findings were once more presented, discussed and recommendations were formulated during regional technical consultation workshop. Each country teams participated in the process, and subsequently, the suggestions were validated by representatives from Ministries of Health.. Results Few countries in the Region currently have national policies and guidelines for comprehensive safe abortion. However, either mifepristone-misoprostol in combination or misoprostol alone (for other indications) is included in national essential medicines lists in all countries except Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Few countries earmark specific public funds for procuring and distributing medical abortion commodities. In countries where abortion is legal, the private sector and NGOs support access to medical abortion information and medicines. Several countries only allow registered medical practitioners or specialists to administer medical abortion. Conclusion Following this rapid participatory assessment and technical consultation workshop, the World Health Organization South-East Asia Regional Technical Advisory and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights technical committee recommended priority actions for policy and advocacy, service delivery, and monitoring and evaluation, and indicated areas for support.

Chrysanthemum flowers (Chrysanthemum indicum L.) have been shown to contain flavonoid compounds and exert antioxidant activity. This brings Chrysanthemum indicum potential to be developed as a nutraceutical product. This study aims to evaluate the antioxidant activity of Chrysanthemum flowers before and after the formulation of Chrysanthemum indicum flower extract as a gummy candy. Gummy candy formulas were developed using variations of gelatin and pectin as gelling agents. In this study, Chrysanthemum flower extract was formulated into gummy candy. The physical characteristics evaluated include organoleptic tests, weight uniformity, elasticity, and moisture content. Optimization was performed using the simplex lattice design (SLD) method with the aid of the Design Expert software Ver. 13. The antioxidant activity of the chrysanthemum flower extract and gummy candy extract was evaluated using the DPPH radical scavenging method. Ascorbic acid was used as a positive control. The optimum formula for preparing the gummy candy was 11.51% of gelatin and 1.24% of pectin. The evaluation of weight uniformity, elasticity, and moisture content suggested that there is no significant difference between the optimum formula and the predicted value. Both the chrysanthemum flower extract and chrysanthemum flower gummy candy had strong antioxidant activity. The IC50 value of the extract was 67.80 ± 2.37 mg/mL while the gummy candy IC50 value was 82.93 ± 2.55 mg/mL. The antioxidant activity of Chrysanthemum indicum was slightly decreased after being formulated into gummy candy. These studies suggested that scientists are expected to anticipate the decrease of Chrysanthemum antioxidant activity in the gummy manufacturing process.

Microalgae are increasingly regarded as a sustainable source of novel food and functional products due to their nutritional composition. This study aimed to conduct an in-depth analysis of the chemical, microstructural and rheological, and volatile-flavour related properties of Arthrospira, Isochrysis, Nannochloropsis, and Tetraselmis species. Chemometric data analysis was employed to integrate the multivariate data, investigate the classification among the four species, and identify discriminating and distinct features. Arthrospira is high in protein content, and Nannochloropsis is lipid-rich with dominantly polyunsaturated fatty acids. Isochrysis is rich in carotenoids and total phenolics, while Tetraselmis is high in carbohydrates. Key discriminant volatile markers encompass aldehydes, terpenes, and hydrocarbons for Arthrospira; ketones and alcohols for Nannochloropsis; aldehydes, ketones, and sulfur-containing compounds for Tetraselmis; and furans and aldehydes for Isochrysis. Moreover, Arthrospira and Isochrysis demonstrate elevated viscosity and notable thickening potential. In summary, the different microalgal biomass studied in this study showcase unique compositional, rheological, and volatile properties, highlighting their potential as functional ingredients for diverse applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Phytoremediation utilizes metal-trapping plants to recover water as the main source of contamination, Pistia Stratiotes L. is a hyperaccumulator plant that is considered capable of reducing hexavalent chromium levels in wastewater. This is evidenced by the results obtained on each of the variables investigated, namely the effect of contact time and the number of plants. Where, the effect of contact time on the most optimal reduction in hexavalent chromium concentration on day 10 is 22.55 mg/ L with an efficiency value of 54.89 %. While the effect of the number of plants on the reduction in the most optimal metal concentration was found in the first reactor with the number of plants 4, chromium concentration was 23.16 mg/ L with an efficiency value of 54.89%. This means that the longer the phytoremediation process will affect the decrease in chromium levels in waste samples but has no effect on the number of plants used if the plant mass is not calculated before treatment. The recommended kinetic models for phytoremediation systems using P. Stratiotes L plants are Richard's Pseudo First Order and Pseudo Second Order. However, when viewed from the prediction value and experimental data, Pseudo Second Order Kinetic Models are considered suitable to describe the phenomenon that occurs in this study, with an SSE value of 1.0042 and a reaction rate constant of 1.1662 day-1 to 1.5623 day-1.

This study aims to look at the implementation of sharia compliance and Minangkabau custom in the halal tourism industry in West Sumatra, as the leading province in the halal tourism industry in Indonesia. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive methodology with in-depth interviews as a data collection instrument. The Indonesian Ulema Council, the Provincial Tourism Office and the halal tourism managers in the provinces of West Sumatra are the main sources of data for this study and purposive sampling strategies are used in this study to pick informants based on criteria. The findings of this study indicate that the halal tourism industry in West Sumatra has substantively complied with the sharia rules contained in the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council No. 108 of 2016 due to the implementation of sharia compliance in halal tourism in this province through the Minangkabau custom adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah by combining religious and cultural values that are deeply rooted in society, this saying is ingrained in the life of the Minang people. This is what distinguishes West Sumatra from other provinces in maintaining sharia compliance with halal tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat aktualisasi kepatuhan syariah dan budaya adat Minangkabau pada industri wisata halal di Sumatera Barat, sebagai provinsi terdepan dalam sektor wisata halal di Indonesia. Metodologi penelitian yang diaplikasikan pada riset ini adalah metodologi deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam sebagai instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data riset. Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah Majelis Ulama Indonesia, Dinas Pariwisata Propinsi dan para pengelola pariwisata halal yang ada di Propinsi Sumatera Barat. Kriteria pemilihan informan pada penelitian ini berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Temuan riset ini menunjukkan bahwa di Sumatera Barat industri wisata halalnya secara substantif sudah mematuhi aturan syariah sebagaimana yang sudah ditetapkan Majelis Ulama Indonesia melalui fatwa No. 108 Tahun 2016, hal ini karena implementasi nilai-nilai syariah pada industri halal tourism di provinsi ini seiring dengan pepatah budaya Minang yang berbunyi adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah. Pepatah ini adalah wujud harmonisasi nilai-nilai agamis dan budaya yang sudah kuat berakar dalam sendi kehidupan masyarakat, pepatah ini juga sudah dikenal turun-temurun oleh anak kemenakan di Minang. Hal inilah yang membedakan Sumatera Barat dengan provinsi lain dalam menjaga kepatuhan syariah wisata halal.

Abstract Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is a transboundary viral disease of cattle and water buffaloes caused by the LSD virus, leading to high morbidity, low mortality, and a significant economic impact. Initially endemic to Africa only, LSD has spread to the Middle East, Europe, and Asia in the past decade. The most effective control strategy for LSD is the vaccination of cattle with live-attenuated LSDV vaccines. Consequently, the emergence of two groups of LSDV strains in Asian countries, one closely related to the ancient Kenyan LSDV isolates and the second made of recombinant viruses with a backbone of Neethling-vaccine and field isolates, emphasized the need for constant molecular surveillance. This current study investigated the first outbreak of LSD in Indonesia in 2022. Molecular characterization of the isolate circulating in the country based on selected LSDV-marker genes: RPO30, GPCR, EEV glycoprotein gene, and B22R, as well as whole genome analysis using several analytical tools, indicated the Indonesia LSDV isolate as a recombinant of LSDV_Neethling_vaccine_LW_1959 and LSDV_NI-2490. The analysis clustered the Indonesia_LSDV with the previously reported LSDV recombinants circulating in East and Southeast Asia, but different from the recombinant viruses in Russia and the field isolates in South-Asian countries. Additionally, this study has demonstrated alternative accurate ways of LSDV whole genome analysis and clustering of isolates, including the recombinants, instead of whole-genome phylogenetic tree analysis. These data will strengthen our understanding of the pathogens’ origin, the extent of their spread, and determination of suitable control measures required.

Background Indonesia is one of the countries that is endemic to avian influenza virus subtype H9N2. This study aims to compare the molecular characteristics of avian influenza virus (AIV) subtype H9N2 from West Java. Methods Specific pathogen-free (SPF) embryonated chicken eggs were used to inoculate samples. RNA extraction and RT–qPCR confirmed the presence of H9 and N2 genes in the samples. RT–PCR was employed to amplify the H9N2-positive sample. Nucleotide sequences were obtained through Sanger sequencing and analyzed using MEGA 7. Homology comparison and phylogenetic tree analysis, utilizing the neighbor-joining tree method, assessed the recent isolate’s similarity to reference isolates from GenBank. Molecular docking analysis was performed on the HA1 protein of the recent isolate and the A/Layer/Indonesia/WestJava-04/2017 isolate, comparing their interactions with the sialic acids Neu5Ac2-3Gal and Neu5Ac2-6Gal. Results RT–qPCR confirmed the isolate samples as AIV subtype H9N2. The recent virus exhibited 11 amino acid residue differences compared to the A/Layer/Indonesia/WestJava-04/2017 isolate. Phylogenetically, the recent virus remains within the h9.4.2.5 subclade. Notably, at antigenic site II, the recent isolate featured an amino acid N at position 183, unlike A/Layer/Indonesia/WestJava-04/2017. Molecular docking analysis revealed a preference of HA1 from the 2017 virus for Neu5Ac2-3Gal, while the 2023 virus displayed a tendency to predominantly bind with Neu5Ac2-6Gal. Conclusion In summary, the recent isolate displayed multiple mutations and a strong affinity for Neu5Ac2-6Gal, commonly found in mammals.

The primary aim of this study is to delve into the experiences of postgraduate EFL students in using ChatGPT and to uncover the strategic approaches they implement throughout their writing process. This qualitative case study research design engages 16 Master’s degree students from four different universities in Indonesia, each with varying levels of English proficiency. Findings indicate a positive reception of ChatGPT among EFL students, who note its versatility in improving vocabulary, grammar, idea generation, essay structuring, and language refinement. Students utilize a range of strategies in their interactions with ChatGPT, including critical evaluation, peer consultation, and the use of primary research sources, which demonstrates its adaptability as an educational resource. These findings suggest that ChatGPT could revolutionize EFL instruction by serving as an adaptable cognitive tool that aligns with diverse pedagogical models and cognitive development stages. Its capabilities support educational theories such as Scaffolded Writing, Distributed Cognition, and Cognitive Flexibility Theory, which enhance students’ self-efficacy and academic success. However, the study’s reliance on self-reported data and its limited sample size are notable limitations, potentially impacting the generalizability of the results. The study recommends that future research with a broader, more diverse sample and a mixed-methods framework could provide deeper insights into the effectiveness of ChatGPT in EFL contexts and its potential to augment students’ writing competencies.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the field of education, forcing educators to adapt to new teaching methods and work environments. As the pandemic subsides, it is crucial to address the learning gaps and foster innovative and creative behavior among educators. This study investigates the belief that creativity emerges during times of crisis and examines the impact of work from home (WFH) productivity on the creative performance of academics. Additionally, the study evaluates the moderating effects of intrapersonal skills, interpersonal skills, and digital literacy skills on the relationship between WFH productivity and creative performance.The study employs a quantitative method, analyzing data from 207 academic respondents working in three public universities in Indonesia using Partial Least Squares software. The findings reveal that WFH productivity has a significant negative effect on creative performance. Furthermore, the results indicate that digital literacy skills serve as a moderator variable between WFH productivity and creative performance, while intrapersonal skills and interpersonal skills do not exhibit significant moderating effects. This research provides valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by lecturers in Indonesia and beyond during the pandemic. It emphasizes the importance of adopting creative teaching practices and continuous professional development to improve educational quality in the post-pandemic era. The study highlights the need to promote the entire professional skill set of lecturers, including both hard and soft skills, to effectively adapt to the disruptions caused by the pandemic. The findings contribute to the understanding of the factors influencing creative performance in the context of remote work and offer implications for educational institutions and policymakers in supporting the professional growth of academics during and after the pandemic.

This study aimed to examine the involvement of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in the revitalization of the Citarum River through Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) in Citarum Harum Program in Karawang Regency. A qualitative method was used with primary data obtained through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and secondary data from relevant literature and documents. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using Nvivo 12 Pro. The results of the research show that the substance of the policy content in Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 2018 is very clear in the management of the Citaram River by involving the TN. The involvement of the Indonesian Army in the Citarum Harum Program had a significant impact on its success. The TNI has been able to optimize active participation in community and industrial empowerment through OMSP. In addition, their commitment and determination towards total revitalization has increased public and industrial awareness and compliance. The strength of this research lies in the approach to handling the Citarum River problem, through the Citarum Harum program. This study contributes to being used as material by the government and society in handling other environmental issues. The success of the Citarum Harum Program has contributed to the improvement of the Citarum River which can be used as a source of irrigation, hydroelectric power generation and tourism.

AbstractThe trade war between the United States and China since 2008 has opened strategic opportunities to increase the economic market in ASEAN countries. This research aims to answer whether the trade war led to an oligopoly or a systemic market structure as a strategy for increasing demands, especially in ASEAN countries. The research exploration refers to trade data between Indonesia and ASEAN at the start of the 2018 US-China trade war and compares it with the latest data for 2020. This research uses the Results Index of C5 Analysis of ASEAN Trading Partner Countries and the Herfindahl–Hirschman index to examine trade between China, America, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan in the ASEAN economy. Findings, in a way, empirically shows that the Results Index of C5 Analysis of ASEAN Trading Partner Countries before and after US-China trade made market concentration moderate and caused an increase in the value of C5 Analysis Results of ASEAN Trading Partner Countries. Discounts on Herfindahl–Hirschman the index needs to pay attention to import players in ASEAN before the trade war. However, after the trade war, there was an increase in the Herfindahl–Hirschman index, which has a trend toward a collusive oligopoly market structure.
