Purpose: The aim of this research is to analyze of tourist interest to event club activity in Teripang Village to develop tourism attraction in Teripang Village. Methods: The method used is descriptive qualitative using in-depth interviews, observation, literature studies and surveys to tourists. The data obtained are presented in descriptive form. Results: The result of this research is natural soap bar has the high of tourist interest both edu-tourism and memorable experience. The activity show the same with tourist expectation and tourist interest to revisit to Teripang Village and doing edu-tourism like natural soap bar. While, tote bag painting is event club activities in this has lack of tourist interest in Teripang Village. Through this research, management of Teripang village knows that natural soap bar is edu-tourism activity that has high demand. Contribution: This research provides information to Teripang Village management for event club activities that are of interest to tourists and event club activities that lack interest.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan bisnis Bintan Inti Executive Village (BIEV) sebagai sebuah entitas bisnis villa yang berada di tengah kawasan industri Bintan Inti Industrial Estate di Lobam, Kabupaten Bintan. Metode yang digunakan melalui analisis SWOT. Salah satu strategi yang dilakukan adalah dengan tetap mempertahankan sebagai villa privasi, menfasilitasi kebutuhan akomodasi staf dari tenant perusahaan yang ada. Dalam bidang promosi, diperlukannya pengembangan promosi secara online, tidak hanya terbatas pada promosi offline seperti yang saat ini dilakukan oleh manajemen BIEV. Lokasi BIEV sendiri menjadi sebuah strategi untuk menjadi daya tarik, dikarenakan lokasi BIEV dekat dengan Pelabuhan Batam-Bintan. Selanjutnya, strategi yang tidak kalah penting dalam peningkatan bisnis BIEV adalah memperbaiki dan menambahkan menu andalan restoran di BIEV. Kondisi internal dari BIEV terutama memiliki titik berat pada staf di BIEV. Staf di BIEV dapat melayani para tamu, disamping itu memiliki kelemahan berupa promosi melalui media massa, elektronik dan lainnya. Dari aspek lingkungan eksternal dari BIEV adalah perkembangan pembangunan.

Climate crisis and unsustainable activities in Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector have led the ocean into troubled waters. The country must strengthen their commitments to ensure ocean resources are managed sustainably and equitably. This report aggregates the best available data and provide in-depth analysis on marine and fisheries issues to encourage evidence-based approach in decision-making processes.

Currently, massive practice in fisheries caught and lack of marine ecosystem is not the only news in Indonesia but also in most other countries. Those practices are based on compliance with the growing food needs due to the growth of the world’s population. The Riau Island, known as the Sampan Tribe, has been practicing methods and maintaining a sustainable marine ecosystem from generation to generation for decades. The focus of this research is on the Sampan tribe and the practice of sustainable marine resources. To understand the interactions and activities, culture, values by the Sampan tribe to maintain harmony with the sea and marine ecosystems. It shapes modeling of sustainable marine resources. To gain the best of modeling the Sampan tribe using qualitative method. The researchers did the deep interview with the key of informant from sampan tribe in the land, observation the three areas which was Berakit Bintan, Kampung Tua Batam, and Belakang Padang Batam. To support the data, the researcher did a literature study related to the sea, sampan tribe, and coastal ecosystem. The Sampan tribe consists of three practices, namely the practice of fishing gear, marine ecosystem sustainability practice, and the practice of prohibiting the catching marine animals. They believe that maintaining the sustainability of the marine ecosystem will have an impact on fish survival. It followed by a ban on catching several types of marine animals such as dugongs, turtles, dolphins, and whales. In fishing, the Sampan tribe protects the spawning fish, and the size of the fish is not caught. Their practices are in line with the government policies regarding the catching of fish, fishing gear, and protected marine animals. To conclude, the Sampan tribe is one of the drivers for supporting sustainable marine resources with practices and it is believed to be able to save the sea and existence as a Sampan tribe.

Lembah Harau is a nature tourism park in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. Lembah Harau area has with strong potential to attract tourist both in natural attraction and man-made attraction. Concept of tourist area life cycle is used to analyze the position of Lembah Harau based on that concept and then to develop sustainable tourism in Lembah Harau. Sarosah Village is a man-made attraction in Lembah Harau. In which it has the role towards man-made and natural attraction in Lembah Harau area are needed to develop the area for sustainable tourism development. There is the strong relationship between Sarosah Village and Lembah Harau itself to bring the Lembah Harau area to rejuvenation level. Based on natural attraction, Lembah Harau area is consolidation to stagnation level. Although, the concept of Sarosah Village is difference with Lembah Harau area’s concept as a conservation area. But Sarosah Village gives the positive impact to develop Lembah Harau and Sarasah Village is following the sustainable development tourism concept. As a developing and archipelago country, Indonesia is expected to assess its coastal ecosystem services to unleash Indonesia’s coastal potential and to drive Indonesia’s economic development. With this line of reasoning, it is indeed to apply the concept of Ecosystem Services (ES) and its condition to measure how much natural potential we have in coastal ecosystems. However, there has been no comprehensive framework on how ES and its condition are holistically conducted. For that purpose, we pioneered integrated research to assess the spatial distribution of the ES (coastal protection and recreation) across districts of East Nusa Tenggara province and its condition toward habitat by applying integrated InVEST (Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs) models. InVEST model would acknowledge the potential ES that is available in the coastal ecosystem and its condition. Additionally, we also suggest the form of coastal management policy in East Nusa Tenggara that needs to be applied based on the available ES data. Our result indicated that West Manggarai and Southwest Sumba have the highest and lowest ES for coastal protection and tourism services. The HRA models showed that the condition of the coastal ecosystem in West Manggarai is at moderate risk; however, most of the seagrass is at high risk. The results suggested that conservation areas in West Manggarai intensified the existing ES provided there, whereas it also brings pressures to habitat conditions. Therefore, there is indeed to achieve an ideal coastal management practice in East Nusa Tenggara. It is also needed to consider ecological, social and economic aspects and involve all government levels to establish synergistic and inclusive policies. Simultaneously, it is also notable in paying attention to each area’s carrying capacity that can affect ecological functions.

Bali is one of the destinations with the highest tourist visiting in Indonesia. One concern is food waste produced by tourists during the holiday. Most of the food waste comes from consumers level. Thus, needed to understand what factors influence of tourist’s intention to reduce food waste during the holiday. This study aims to understand tourist behavioural intention of reducing food waste during the holiday. The conceptual model was built based on the new environmental paradigm scale and environmental psychology approach. There are six hypotheses designed through environmental attitude, feeling personal responsibility, knowledge and intention to reduce food waste during vocation. Correlation and multiple regression were chosen to analyse the data. Environmental attitude did not have a direct association of tourist’s intention to reduce food waste (p-value=.23). Meanwhile, feeling personal responsibility and knowledge to reduce food waste has a significant relationship with the outcome (p-value=.001). In the environmental attitude, both local and foreign tourists are not profoundly correlated with the understanding of tourist’s intention to reduce food waste during the holiday. Overall, the study concludes that tourists can figure out the intention of reducing food waste, even though they do not concern about general environmental attitude.
