Bu çalışmada; dolomit, öğütülmüş yüksek fırın cürufu ve Poli Vinil Klorür (PVC) içeren harçların ve betonların dayanım ve dayanıklılığı araştırılmıştır. Çimento ve agrega yerine dolomit, yüksek fırın cürufu ve PVC farklı yüzdelerde kullanılmıştır. Hamur numunelerin su gereksinimi, priz başlama ve bitiş süreleri ve hacim genleşmeleri gibi fiziksel etkileri araştırılmıştır. Hamur numunelerin 7 ve 28 gün için Scannig Elektron Microscope (SEM) taramaları incelenmiştir. Beton numunelerin 7 ve 28 günlük basınç dayanımı, permeabilite ve donma-çözülme etkisi gibi mekanik ve fiziksel etkileri araştırılmıştır. 40x40x160 mm'lik harç numuneler üretilmiş, harçların basınç dayanımı deneyinde kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, 25x25x285 mm'lik harç çubukları üretilmiş, alkali agrega reaksiyonu tespiti için harç çubuğu deneyinde kullanılmıştır. 7, 28, 56 ve 90 günlük boy değişim değerleri takip edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada, dolomit katkı oranı arttıkça betonda işlenebilirlik, basınç dayanımı, donma-çözülme etkisi ve su geçirimliliği gibi birçok özelliğe olumsuz etkilerde bulunduğu deneysel olarak gözlenmiştir. Betonda kullanılan PVC katkısının ise daha esnek bir beton üretme dışında dayanım ve dayanıklılık özelliklerine ciddi bir katkısı olmadığı görülmüştür. Ancak, dolomit ve yüksek fırın cürufunun birlikte kullanıldığı hamur ve harç numunelerde; priz süresi, hacimsel genleşme, basınç dayanımı ve alkali agrega reaktivitesi yönünden sadece dolomit katkılı numunelere göre daha olumlu sonuçlar alınmıştır. Bu sonuçlar, dolomitin beton ve çimentoya katkı olarak kullanımında, uygun dozaj, katkı çeşidi ve miktarının belirlenmesi ile çimento ve beton özelliklerinin daha da geliştirilebileceğini göstermiştir. In this study, strength and durability properties of mortars and concretes incorporating dolomite, ground blast furnace slag and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) were investigated. Dolomite, ground blast furnace slag and PVC were substituted instead of cement and aggregate in different percentages. Physical properties of paste samples like water requirement, initial and final setting time and volume expansion values were investigated. Scannig Elektron Microscope (SEM) images of 7 and 28 days old paste samples were examined. For concrete samples, the physical and mechanical properties such as compressive strength at 7 and 28 days, permeability and freeze-thaw tests were performed. 40x40x160 mm sized mortar samples were produced for testing the compressive strength. Also 25x25x285 mm sized mortar bars were produced and they were used for mortar bar method which was performed for testing the potential alkaline reactivity of mortars. Length change values were measured at 7, 28, 56 and 90 days. In the study, negative effects of dolomite ratio increase on compressive strength, permeability, freeze-thaw and other features has been observed experimentally. Strength and durability features were not increased by the PVC used in concrete. However, more flexible concrete can be produced by the addition of PVC. However, paste and mortar samples which a combination of dolomite and blast furnace slag used showed better results for setting time, volume expansion, compressive strength and alkaline-aggregate reactivity than just dolomite used samples were showed. These results suggest that the use of dolomite as concrete and cement additives, the appropriate dosage, type and amount of additives to determine the properties of the cement and concrete have shown improved further. 124
