Castleman’s disease is a benign lymphoproliferative disorder. The coexistence of Hodgkin’s lymphoma and multicentric Castle-man’s disease is a rare phenomenon. We discuss a case of a 48-year-old female patient who had been in the records of the Colentina Hematology Clinic since 2019, with the diagnosis of classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, nodular sclerosis type I BNLI, stage IIXB. For this, she underwent 3 courses of ABVD and 2 courses of BEACOPP, without showing complete remission on PET/CT evaluation at the end of treatment. After that, we initiated rescue therapy and performed 4 IGEV courses, followed by autologous stem cell transplantation. For maintenance treatment, we opted for Brentuximab, but it was discontinued after the first administration due to the appearance of adverse reactions. Subsequently, we decided to perform radiotherapy with 20 fractions cumulating a total dose of 36 Gy. Shortly after the radiotherapy, symptoms reappeared which were suspected to be in the context of a relapse of the disease. For confirmatory diagnosis, we performed a new PET-CT which highlighted metabolically active ganglion images. Further, were carried out lymph node biopsy for histopathological and immunohistochemical examinations were carried out. The underlying disease was diagnosed as plasmacytic subtype, HHV8 negative, multicentric Castleman’s disease. For treatment, we relied on administrations of Siltuximab treatment therapy that showed complete remission. Castleman’s disease presents a unique diagnostic challenge, but a confirmatory diagnosis can be based on a biopsy examination, advisable after each relapse.

Assessing the socio-economic and demographic impact of the reforms in Romanian agriculture, since 1990, on rural families, is one of the important components in the new context of the CAP, which includes new perspectives on the concept of rural family. From subsistence to sustainability, it implies the medium and long term objective of the main reforms in Romania's agriculture after the December 1989 Revolution, which were mainly represented by the start of the process of transition to market economy, by benefiting from the advantages of land rent and maybe the most important reform is Romania's accession to the EU. This paper aims to conduct an analysis of the evolution of the Romanian rural area in its many facets, focusing on the main reforms in post-December Romania agriculture, as well as the concepts of rural development in terms of sustainability and multifunctionality. In the context of a Romania that, since the accession of the EU, being considered perhaps the most important reform is the reform of agriculture, which is in the process of implementing the European model of agriculture and rural development. In order to demonstrate how the rural areas have been changed across the years, an empirical study has been assessed. It shows that there is a representative relationship between the farmers' productivity and incomes, proving how the economic prosperity of the rural citizens is determined by labour effectualness, while multiple reforms have been reshaped families' welfare.

The current development of dental materials aims to improve their properties and expand their clinical application. New flowable bulk-fill composites have been released which, unlike what was previously common in this material category, are intended to be used alone and without a top layer, in various cavities. The study compares their kinetic of light transmission during monomer-to-polymer conversion on a laboratory-grade spectrometer, as well as their elastoplastic and aging behavior under simulated clinical conditions. Major differences in the kinetic of light transmission was observed, which is related to the degree of mismatch between the refractive indices of filler and polymer matrix during polymerization and/or the type of initiator used. Compared to the literature data, the kinetic of light transmission do not always correlate with the kinetic of functional group conversion, and therefore should not be used to assess polymerization quality or to determine an appropriate exposure time. Furthermore, the initial mechanical properties are directly related to the volumetric amount of filler, but degradation during aging must be considered as a multifactorial event.
