The authors have developed a digital beam forming dynamic imaging radar system, ”VirA.” It is a cutting-edge non-contact measurement technology for space-continuous vibration monitoring of buildings. In this research, the authors have presented the vibration monitoring method by conducting vibration measurements of an actual tall building. Experiments were performed to compare the performances of two time-synchronized radars and a conventional vibrometer. Frequency analysis was performed and the dominant frequencies were compared with those determined from the conventional vibrometer.

We identify the quantum theory of cosmological perturbations with the quantum field theory in curved spacetime with emphasis on its field concept. We materialize this idea by using a coherent state as a quantum analogue of a nontrivial classical field configuration. We present analytic results in a de Sitter universe for the massless and massive minimal free scalar fields. Some new features on the spectrum of perturbations are obtained for the massive case. We also show how such quantum field theories can be derived from quantum gravity using the semiclassical approximation. A physical degree of freedom is picked up from three scalar perturbations in the quantum gravity scalar system and its Schrodinger equation is derived. Peculiar features of quantum fields at imaginary time and its possible implications on boundary conditions for the wave function of the universe are also discussed.

The superstring ideal) might nowadays be regarded as a real solid candidate for unifying all the fundamental interactions of particle physics. Generalization of string theories to nonzero temperature has lately attracted considerable attention within the framework of the thermofield dynamics (TFD).2) The TFD amplitude of thermal bosonic strings has primarily been materialized by Leblanc 3 ) and Ahmed. 4 ) The TFD calculation of algebraic structure of thermal bosonic strings has also been performed by Ahmed 5 ) and ourselves .. 6 ) Moreover, the TFD amplitude of thermal superstrings has been initiated by Leblane) in the Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond(NSR) prescription l ) and also discussed by Ahmed 4 ) in the so-called new formulation. I) The operator formalism of thermal superstrings has not yet been brought to realization, however, which seems more attainable for the case of the NSR superstring. In the present short communication, therefore, let us substantiate the thermal BRST charge and the thermal super Vir as oro algebra for the NSR superstring. In order to avoid contaminative recapitulation, let us confine ourselves mainly to the Neveu-Schwarz (NS) sector in the text while the Ramond (R) sector is briefly touched upon after­ wards.
