The article presents a model for calculating the thermophysical parameters of materials according to multispectral multi-temporal photographic survey of the Earth’s surface. The analysis of using data on the thermophysical parameters of materials for the identification of monitoring objects is carried out. The numerical estimates of the errors in determining the thermophysical parameters of the tested materials and distribution histograms of the thermophysical parameters of materials according to the field experimental data are also obtained

The article presents a method of assessing the dynamics of changes in the probabilistic characteristics of recognition and distinction of objects of aerial reconnaissance in the operator and automatic decryption, respectively. The mathematical formulation of the problem of recognition of objects of aerial reconnaissance by infrared images is presented. The results of the evaluation of changes in the probabilistic characteristics of recognition (distinction) of objects of aerial reconnaissance on the results of full-scale experiment

The rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has contributed to a proliferation of multispectral aerial survey technologies and services. Aerial reconnaissance allows to obtain the detailed digital map of the area, including the geographical distribution of radiant temperatures. These temperature maps allow to find out the composition of the objects (figure out type of the material), their real dimensions and size. There are studies concerning processing of multispectral aerial survey images (both obtained in visible and infrared ranges) and selecting the UAV optimal flight altitude for detection, recognition, and identification of monitoring objects. However, the issue of developing an integrated algorithm of UAV multispectral aerial survey for classifying monitoring objects (taking into account the choice of optimal flight altitude and camera’s resolution parameters) still remains open. This article considers the choice of the flight altitude of the UAVs based on Johnson’s criteria for detection, recognition, and identification of monitoring objects. The integrated approach for conducting aerial survey based on mathematical relationship between optimal flight altitude of the UAVs and resolving power of its onboard camera is proposed.

The article deals with the problem of evaluating the qualitative characteristics of the constructed mathematical model for solving the direct problem of radiation thermophysics, which is used for extrapolating infrared images of the earth's surface obtained by optoelectronic means of unmanned aerial vehicles. The results of experimental approbation of the mathematical model for constructing thermal tomograms based on data from different time infrared images are presented.

This article solves the problem of developing an autonomous flight control system that allows unmanned copter type aerial vehicle to fly along a given route with the possibility of avoiding obstacles. The mathematical model of a quadcopter with four propellers, considering wind disturbances and the algorithm for trajectory control of an unmanned aerial vehicle are studied in detail. The mathematical model is based on the basic equations of dynamics for translational and rotational motion. The trajectory control algorithm, which should control the required linear coordinates of quadcopters throughout the route, is developed using the proportional-integral-differentiating (PID) controller. PID controller is also used for managing angular coordinates. The PID-controller coefficients can be calculated by using the tangential method or the Ziegler-Nichols method. The trajectory control algorithm is implemented in an object-oriented programming environment.

In this paper, an algorithm for adaptive correlation filtering of signals has been developed and implemented in software for performing automatic tracking tasks and determining the coordinates of objects from an unmanned aircraft.

In this work we present the algorithm of object classification on the basis of thermal images obtained by optoelectronic systems of unmanned aerial vehicles. In particular, we show that the searching of objects by the distribution of estimated values of the thermal conductivity is more effective since it allows to divide the objects into classes due to their difference in thermal inertia. Numerical estimates of detection probability for each class and the total error of detection are presented.

In this work we consider the problem of a charged coupled (by a spring with stiffness k) inverted pendulums that are controlled by an external affection applied to the moving platform (such an affection is treated as a control). We consider the case of mechanical control as well as the possibility to use the control by an external electric field (due to the fact that the considered pendulums are charged). We also discuss some possible opportunities for control of unstable system based on the observable characteristics (e.g., the electromagnetic radiation from such a system).
