Abstract

L'article "Le contrôle fiscal à l'ère de la digitalisation de l'administration fiscale au Maroc : Une révolution en marche ou une réalité imposée ?" explore l'impact de la numérisation sur le contrôle fiscal marocain. Il souligne les enjeux et défis liés à la protection des données. S'appuyant sur une enquête auprès de 110 fonctionnaires fiscaux, l'étude utilise des méthodes statistiques pour analyser l'effet de la digitalisation sur la productivité des inspecteurs et l'élargissement de l'assiette fiscale. Les résultats révèlent un impact notable de la digitalisation sur la performance des contrôles fiscaux. L'article recommande de combiner innovation technologique et principes d'intégrité fiscale, en préconisant des outils numériques sécurisés et éthiques. Il plaide pour des stratégies proactives en faveur d'un futur fiscal numérique optimisé. En gros, cette étude exploratoire éclaire les avantages et défis de la digitalisation pour l'administration fiscale marocaine et propose des orientations pour les futures politiques fiscales.

6. Actualités thérapeutiques dans le cancer du rein métastatique

Abstract

Résumé: Introduction: Depuis quelques années, la prise en charge thérapeutique des cancers du rein métastatiques bénéficie de progrès considérables.Objectif: Définir l’efficacité des molécules antiangiogéniques et les nouvelles recommandations de la prise en charge du cancer du rein métastatique. Matériel et méthodes: Une recherche bibliographique en langue anglaise a été réalisée à partir de la banque de données Medline (Pubmed) en utilisant les mots clés suivants: renal cell carcinoma, immunotherapy, antiangiogenic drugs, tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Une vingtaine d’articles publiés ont été consultés comprenant des essais de phases II et III randomisés. Résultats: Depuis 2004, le traitement du cancer du rein au stade métastatique est en profonde mutation. Avant, la prise en charge reposait essentiellement sur l’utilisation des cytokines déterminant l’ère de l’immunothérapie. Actuellement, les études de la biologie tumorale ainsi que les aspects génétiques de la pathologie ont permis de mettre en évidence la place de nouvelles molécules aux propriétés antiangiogéniques, qui ont pu définir de nouveaux standards thérapeutiques. Les résultats de ces thérapies ciblées concernent surtout l’amélioration de la survie sans progression, que ce soit pour le sunitinib ou le bévacizumab, en première ligne de traitement, ou pour le sorafénib en seconde ligne. Les inhibiteurs de m-TOR (temsirolimus) peuvent être utilisés avec un bénéfice sur la survie globale dans les cas de cancers du rein métastatiques de mauvais pronostic. Conclusion: Malgré les progrès thérapeutiques actuels, le pronostic du cancer du rein métastatique demeure sombre. Par conséquent, il est important d’intensifier les recherches et de suivre tout développement thérapeutique.

Abstract

Early life is an important window of opportunity to improve health across the full lifecycle. An accumulating body of evidence suggests that exposure to adverse stressors during early life leads to developmental adaptations, which subsequently affect disease risk in later life. Also, geographical, socio-economic, and ethnic differences are related to health inequalities from early life onwards. To address these important public health challenges, many European pregnancy and childhood cohorts have been established over the last 30 years. The enormous wealth of data of these cohorts has led to important new biological insights and important impact for health from early life onwards. The impact of these cohorts and their data could be further increased by combining data from different cohorts. Combining data will lead to the possibility of identifying smaller effect estimates, and the opportunity to better identify risk groups and risk factors leading to disease across the lifecycle across countries. Also, it enables research on better causal understanding and modelling of life course health trajectories. The EU Child Cohort Network, established by the Horizon2020-funded LifeCycle Project, brings together nineteen pregnancy and childhood cohorts, together including more than 250,000 children and their parents. A large set of variables has been harmonised and standardized across these cohorts. The harmonized data are kept within each institution and can be accessed by external researchers through a shared federated data analysis platform using the R-based platform

Abstract

The immigrants living in France and the refugees who arrived in Austria are more educated than most of the population in their country of origin. By comparison with the population in the host country, the picture is more mixed: some groups, such as immigrants from Portugal living in France, are relatively low educated, while others, such as Romanians, have more frequently completed higher education than people born in France.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to re-evaluate urinary collagen cross-links, previously proposed as markers of osteoarthritis (OA). The urinary excretion of collagen cross-links, pyridinoline (PYD) and deoxypyridinoline (DPD), was measured using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in 114 patients with OA, 19 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and 40 healthy subjects. An increase in PYD and DPD, expressed per millimole of creatinine, was confirmed in RA. However, PYD and DPD in patients with hip OA, knee OA and polyOA were similar, and did not differ from controls. In patients with radiographic end-stage OA, PYD and DPD were significantly higher than in patients with an early OA, but not significantly higher than in controls. The PYD/DPD ratio did not vary with the OA stage. Thus, urinary collagen cross-links are not elevated in OA, but could reflect bone sclerosis and/or erosion in late OA

Abstract

Two decades after a worldwide vaccination campaign was used to successfully eradicate naturally occurring smallpox, the threat of bioterrorism has led to renewed vaccination programs. In addition, sporadic outbreaks of human monkeypox in Africa and a recent outbreak of human monkeypox in the U.S. have made it clear that naturally occurring zoonotic orthopoxvirus diseases remain a public health concern. Much of the threat posed by orthopoxviruses could be eliminated by vaccination; however, because the smallpox vaccine is a live orthopoxvirus vaccine (vaccinia virus) administered to the skin, the vaccine itself can pose a serious health risk. Here, we demonstrate that rhesus macaques vaccinated with a DNA vaccine consisting of four vaccinia virus genes (L1R, A27L, A33R, and B5R) were protected from severe disease after an otherwise lethal challenge with monkeypox virus. Animals vaccinated with a single gene (L1R) which encodes a target of neutralizing antibodies developed severe disease but survived.
