Abstract

Motivation plays a key role in the physical-sports field, in the control of disruptive states and in the mental image that people have of themselves. In view of the above, the present study reflects the objectives of identifying and establishing the relationship between sport motivation, anxiety, physical self-concept and social self-concept, broken down into (a) developing an explanatory model of sport motivation and its relationship with anxiety and social and physical self-concept and (b) contrasting the structural model by means of a multi-group analysis according to sex. To this end, a quantitative, non-experimental (ex post facto), comparative and cross-sectional study was carried out on a sample of 556 students (23.06 ± 6.23). The instruments used were an ad hoc questionnaire, the Spanish version of the Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire (PMCSQ-2), the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and the Self-Concept Form-5. The results show that the male sex orients sport motivation towards climate, obtaining higher levels of anxiety, however, the female sex, anxiety has a negative impact on the development of social self-concept. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that gender is a fundamental factor in the orientation of sport practice, as well as the development of anxiety and physical and social self-concept., Author(s): E. Abstract

The Javalambre-Physics of the Accelerating Universe Astrophysical Survey (J-PAS) will soon start to scan thousands of square degrees of the northern extragalactic sky with a unique set of $56$ optical filters from a dedicated $2.55$m telescope, JST, at the Javalambre Astrophysical Observatory. Before the arrival of the final instrument (a 1.2 Gpixels, 4.2deg$^2$ field-of-view camera), the JST was equipped with an interim camera (JPAS-Pathfinder), composed of one CCD with a 0.3deg$^2$ field-of-view and resolution of 0.23 arcsec pixel$^{-1}$. To demonstrate the scientific potential of J-PAS, with the JPAS-Pathfinder camera we carried out a survey on the AEGIS field (along the Extended Groth Strip), dubbed miniJPAS. We observed a total of $\sim 1$ deg$^2$, with the $56$ J-PAS filters, which include $54$ narrow band (NB, $\rm{FWHM} \sim 145$Angstrom) and two broader filters extending to the UV and the near-infrared, complemented by the $u,g,r,i$ SDSS broad band (BB) filters. In this paper we present the miniJPAS data set, the details of the catalogues and data access, and illustrate the scientific potential of our multi-band data. The data surpass the target depths originally planned for J-PAS, reaching $\rm{mag}_{\rm {AB}}$ between $\sim 22$ and $23.5$ for the NB filters and up to $24$ for the BB filters ($5\sigma$ in a $3$~arcsec aperture). The miniJPAS primary catalogue contains more than $64,000$ sources extracted in the $r$ detection band with forced photometry in all other bands. We estimate the catalogue to be complete up to $r=23.6$ for point-like sources and up to $r=22.7$ for extended sources. Photometric redshifts reach subpercent precision for all sources up to $r=22.5$, and a precision of $\sim 0.3$% for about half of the sample. Abstract

The cultivation of Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz is rapidly increasing due to oil production resulting in a substantial volume of by-products, which still have an interesting composition in secondary metabolites, especially glucosinolates. Therefore, a green extraction procedure of glucosinolates by Pressurised Liquid Extraction was developed and optimized using a chemometric approach. Furthermore, the glucosinolates were purified by solid phase extraction, and a preliminary study on bioaccessibility and bioavailability study was carried out to evaluate the resistance of the glucosinolates to the digestive process. The application of pressurised liquid extraction to the recovery of glucosinolates from camelina sativa by-product, is a green, automatic, and rapid method, representing a valid alternative to conventional extraction method to obtain ingredients for food industries.

9. Psychological profiles and prescription opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal in people with chronic pain.

Abstract

Background: The negative consequences of prescription opioid misuse and opioid use disorder make it relevant to identify factors associated with this problem in individuals with chronic pain. This cross‐sectional study aimed at identifying subgroups of people with chronic pain based on their psychological profiles, prescription opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal. Methods: The sample comprised 185 individuals with chronic pain. We performed hierarchical cluster analysis on impulsivity, anxiety sensitivity, pain acceptance, pain intensity, opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal. Results: The four‐cluster solution was the optimal one. Misuse, craving, and anxiety sensitivity were higher among people in the Severe‐problems cluster than among people in the other three clusters. Withdrawal was the highest in the High‐withdrawal cluster. Impulsivity was higher among people in the Severe‐problems and High‐withdrawal clusters than those in the Moderate‐problems and Mild‐problems clusters. Pain acceptance was higher among people in the Mild‐problems cluster than among people in the other three clusters. Anxiety sensitivity and misuse were higher among people in the Moderate‐problems cluster than among people in the Mild‐problems cluster. Conclusions: These results support that impulsivity, anxiety sensitivity, and pain acceptance are useful constructs to identify subgroups of people with chronic pain according to their level of prescription opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal. The results of this study may help in selecting the early intervention most suitable for each of the identified profiles. Significance: The psychological profile of individuals with chronic pain, prescription opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal is characterized by fearing anxiety‐related symptoms due to the catastrophic interpretation of such symptoms and reacting impulsively to negative moods. In contrast, participants with high pain acceptance had less prescription opioid misuse, craving, and withdrawal. The profiles identified in this study could help clinicians select targets for intervention among profiles with similar needs and facilitate early interventions to prevent opioid misuse onset or aggravation. 13. The Use of Gamification in Education: A Bibliometric and Text Mining Analysis

Abstract

The use of games in education represents a promising tool to motivate and engage students in their learning process. Most of previous research on the topic has focused to develop theoretical frameworks or to conduct experiments as a means to analyse learning outcomes such as knowledge retention, problem-solving skills gains or attitudes toward game-based learning. Nevertheless, little research has focused on providing a comprehensive literature review, which will help researchers to better understand how this stream of research has evolved over the last years. In this study, we use a bibliometric, social network and text mining analysis in order to provide useful up-to-date information to picture the state of the art about current research and evolution of the topic. Analysis on a sample of 139 articles published in top journals over the last 5 years (2010-2014) allowed identifying relevant authors and institutions, key constructs and themes involved, and trends of knowledge development. Main findings suggest an increasing academic interest on the topic over the last 5 years and a wide variety of constructs that were clustered in four main themes that we named: (i) "effectiveness," (ii) "acceptance," (iii) "engagement" and (iv) "social interactions." Future research lines are also addressed.

Resumen: Introducción: La llegada del COVID-19 ha supuesto un gran cambio en la vida de las distintas poblaciones mundiales independientemente de la edad de los sujetos. Objetivos: analizar la relación entre la dieta mediterránea y la actividad física en una muestra de escolares y establecer una relación entre la dieta mediterránea y la actividad física durante el curso 2020-2021 en estudiantes de Murcia y Andalucía. Métodos: Se ha utilizado un cuestionario socio demográfico y el cuestionario KIDMED para medir la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea. Resultados y discusión: La mayoría práctica actividad física, siendo fútbol y baloncesto los deportes más demandados. Además, son los chicos son los que más ejercicio practican. Un poco más de la mayoría tienen que mejorar su dieta. En la Región de Murcia se tiene mejores hábitos saludables. Conclusiones: A pesar de una situación extraordinaria, la práctica ha disminuido su práctica y se ha producido una mejora de su dieta. /// Abstract: Introduction: The arrival of COVID-19 has brought about a great change in the lives of different world populations, regardless of the age of the subjects. Resumen: Introducción: La funcionalidad familiar, la actividad física y la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea influyen en la calidad de vida de los estudiantes, más aún viviendo en tiempos de pandemia causado por el COVID-19. Objetivos: Analizar la influencia de la funcionalidad familiar, actividad física y la dieta mediterránea en la muestra de estudiantes durante el curso académico 2020-2021 en estudiantes de Murcia y Andalucía. Métodos: Se ha utilizado un cuestionario socio demográfico, el cuestionario KIDMED para medir la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea y el APGAR que mide la funcionalidad familiar. Resultados y discusión: La mayoría de los estudiantes si realizan actividad física y necesitan mejorar su dieta. Además de poseer una funcionalidad familiar normal. La práctica de actividad física influye según el sexo. Asimismo, se ha visto como la dieta y el ejercicio se ha visto afectado en el curso a causa del COVID-19. Y del mismo modo, el ejercicio y la funcionalidad familiar está relacionado. Como también influye la zona geográfica en los hábitos saludables. Resumen: Introducción: La llegada del COVID-19 ha supuesto un gran cambio en la vida de las distintas poblaciones mundiales independientemente de la edad de los sujetos. Objetivos: analizar la relación entre la dieta mediterránea y la actividad física en una muestra de escolares y establecer una relación entre la dieta mediterránea y la actividad física durante el curso 2020-2021 en estudiantes de Murcia y Andalucía. Métodos: Se ha utilizado un cuestionario socio demográfico y el cuestionario KIDMED para medir la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea. Resultados y discusión: La mayoría práctica actividad física, siendo fútbol y baloncesto los deportes más demandados. Además, son los chicos son los que más ejercicio practican. Un poco más de la mayoría tienen que mejorar su dieta. En la Región de Murcia se tiene mejores hábitos saludables. Conclusiones: A pesar de una situación extraordinaria, la práctica ha disminuido su práctica y se ha producido una mejora de su dieta., Introduction: The arrival of COVID-19 has brought about a great change in the lives of different world populations, regardless of the age of the subjects. Métodos: Um questionário sociodemografico e o questionário KIDMED foram usados para medir a adesao à dieta mediterrânea. Resultados e discussão: A maioria pratica atividade física, sendo o futebol e o basquete os esportes mais populares. Além disso, sao os meninos que mais se execitam. Um pouco mais do que a maiorita tem que melhorar sua deita. Na Regiao de Murcia existem melhores hábitos saudáveis. Conclusões: A pesar de uma situaçao extraordinária, a práctica diminiu sua práctica e houve uma melhora em sua dieta.

Resumen: Introducción: La funcionalidad familiar, la actividad física y la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea influyen en la calidad de vida de los estudiantes, más aún viviendo en tiempos de pandemia causado por el COVID-19. Objetivos: Analizar la influencia de la funcionalidad familiar, actividad física y la dieta mediterránea en la muestra de estudiantes durante el curso académico 2020-2021 en estudiantes de Murcia y Andalucía. Métodos: Se ha utilizado un cuestionario socio demográfico, el cuestionario KIDMED para medir la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea y el APGAR que mide la funcionalidad familiar. Resultados y discusión: La mayoría de los estudiantes si realizan actividad física y necesitan mejorar su dieta. Además de poseer una funcionalidad familiar normal. La práctica de actividad física influye según el sexo. Asimismo, se ha visto como la dieta y el ejercicio se ha visto afectado en el curso a causa del COVID-19. Y del mismo modo, el ejercicio y la funcionalidad familiar está relacionado. Como también influye la zona geográfica en los hábitos saludables. Although several studies have reported successful results in the internalization of micro- and nanoparticles in phagocytic cells, when nonphagocytic cells are used, the low internalization efficiency represents a limitation that needs to be overcome. It has been reported that covalent surface modification of micro- and nanoparticles increases their internalization rate. However, this surface modification represents an obstacle for their use as drug-delivery carriers. For this reason, the aim of the present study was to increase the capability for microparticle internalization of HeLa cells through the use of noncovalently bound transfection reagents: polyethyleneimine (PEI) Lipofectamine™ 2000 and FuGENE 6®. Both confocal microscopy and flow cytometry techniques allowed us to precisely quantify the efficiency of microparticle internalization by HeLa cells, yielding similar results. In addition, intracellular location of microparticles was analyzed through transmission electron microscopy and confocal microscopy procedures. Our results showed that free PEI at a concentration of 0.05 mM significantly increased microparticle uptake by cells, with a low cytotoxic effect. As determined by transmission electron and confocal microscopy analyses, microparticles were engulfed by plasma-membrane projections during internalization, and 24 hours later they were trapped in a lysosomal compartment. These results show the potential use of noncovalently conjugated PEI in microparticle internalization assays.Keywords: HeLa cells, internalization efficiency, endocytosis, drug delivery
