De visteelt in Nederland is in toenemende mate aan het professionaliseren door levering aan de grootste marktpartijen. Aantoonbaarheid van kwaliteit van de producten zal dan ook in toenemende mate vereist worden.

The current pilot study investigates the program integrity and the effects of the EQUIP-program on cognitive distortion and perception of the peerculture. The research was conducted at a high school for children with a low IQ score. The research includes a pre-experimental design with a pre- and post- test. Data on cognitive distortions and perception of the groupculture were obtained for 40 students (age M = 13.2, SD=.51). Pre- and post-test data measuring the cognitive distortions were collected from 30 of them and pre- and post-test data measuring the peerculture were collected from 22 of them. Program integrity was calculated based on observations of the EQUIP meetings for ‘anger management en thinking errors’. The results show there were no significant changes in cognitive distortions after participating in the the EQUIP program. No relationship was found between cognitive distortions and program integrity. The results do show a signicant improvement in the perception of the peerculture on the scale ‘hulp en steun krijgen’. No relationship was found between program integrity and perception of the peerculture. Future reseach should focus on program exposure as well as on the extent to which the EQUIP program in its present form is suitable for students with low IQ.
