Relevance. Breeding work in animal husbandry can be successful if in result animals with high rates of productivity, required from them economically useful features (EUF), are obtained. Obviously, it is necessary to analyze several EUFs for qualitative assessment of animals. Recently, the knowledge of the regularities of individual development of the organism and their interrelation has become more and more important, it's research is an urgent task. The study of these regularities or combinations between individual phenotypic traits will serve as the basis for the development of a better system of breeding work in sheep breeding. Methodology. The studies were carried out in the Collective stud farm named after Lenin, Stavropol Territory. The object of the research were breeding records of primary zootechnical registers for the last 5 years on elite and first-class animals of fine-wool sheep breeds – Russian meat merino and Soviet merino; their live weight, quantitative and qualitative indicators of wool productivity of different sex and age groups were studied. Results. In our researches it was established that the connection between the length of wool and the trimming both on the group of adult ewes and on the yearlings of Russian meat merino sheep was relatively big – from r = + 0.425 to r = + 0.594 and of the Soviet merino – from r = + 0.280 to r = + 0.592 with high reliability of sampling correlation coefficients in both cases (P < 0,01 and P < 0,001); the correlation of wool cutting in physical weight with indicators of pure fiber turned out to be high – equal to + 0,766 in sheeps of Russian meat merino breed.

The author states that special education is still an alternative form of education for children with special needs who cannot attend secondary schools in most countries. Thus, the connection between inclusive and special education allows the researcher to draw some parallels between these two types of education in order to trace the transition from one to the other.

The article draws our attention to studying the phenomenon of the Russian Music Society (RMS) in the Far-Eastern Republic (FER), one of the regions of Russia the history of which is inscribed in the space of Russian musical culture. Exceeding the boundaries of Far Eastern regional studies, the authors accentuate their attention on the line of succession which allows them to speak about the Russian Music Society in the Far-Eastern Republic as the successor of the Imperial Russian Music Society (IRMS) which during the period of political modernization of the country provided the transition of musical heritage from Tsarist Russia to Soviet Russia. The real connection of historical epochs acquires meaning by means of analyzing of the documentary materials of the time. They act as a significant reference point in the evaluation of the historical role of the IRMS, and they are also indicative of the succession of the Far Eastern RMS to those forms and methods of socially oriented management, which were adopted by the IRMS and were widely implemented in pursuit of its statutory objectives. Ensuring the geographical inclusion of all the regions of the country in the process of cultivating Russian musical culture, this sociocultural work, evaluated in the category of “public good,” provided a lasting foundation for work for the perspective future. It was also a guarantee for an effective solution of the large-scale national project – the creation of a music infrastructure of the country. The activities of the RMS in the Far-Eastern Republic, the official recognition of the IRMS in the Sovietized unrecognized state proved to provide the necessary link which on a regional level created a true connection between the two successive historical epochs. The article present the clinical observation of 4 year old boy with scrotal hypospadias. Previous surgery management had unsatisfactory results due to complications of the cyst of the prostatic utricle. Laparoscopic removal of the cyst of the prostatic utricle was performed. The next step was urethral plastic. The results of the operation were satisfactory. A brief review of the literature is provided.

Acoustic, optical, and acousto-optic properties of amorphous germanium-, selenium-, silicon-, and tellurium-based alloys have been studied. The velocities of longitudinal acoustic waves and acousto-optic figure of merit were measured for amorphous tellurium-based alloys at wavelength λ = 3.39 μm. Acousto-optic figure of merit of a germanium single crystal was studied under diffraction on longitudinal acoustic modes along the [110] and [111] crystal directions.

Attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy is used to determine the free charge carrier concentration in arrays of silicon nanowires with characteristic transverse sizes of 50–100 nm and a length of the order of 10 μm formed on lightly doped crystalline p-type silicon by metal-assisted chemical etching and subjected to the additional thermal-diffusion doping of boron at temperatures of 850–1000°C. It is found that the free hole concentration in arrays varies from 5 × 1018 to 3 × 1019 cm–3 depending on the annealing temperature and is maximal at temperatures of 900–950°C. These results can be used to extend the range of potential application of silicon nanowires in photonics, sensorics, and thermoelectric power converters.

This review article deals with the comparison of different modes of anticoagulant therapy, taking into account the risk profile and the individual characteristics of patients with atrial fibrillation. This paper analyzes the efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants in different clinical situations. Modifiable and unmodifiable bleeding risk factors are evaluated based on the hemorrhagic complication risk assessment scales for patients taking anticoagulants. The evidence base for anticoagulant therapy in the presence of a single episode of atrial fibrillation is represented. Regimens and terms of initiation of anticoagulant therapy after a cardioembolic stroke or transient ischemic attack are considered. In addition, great attention is paid to the problem of early prescription of anticoagulants after intracranial hemorrhage. For patients at high risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or impaired renal function, an optimal strategy for reducing thromboembolic complications is evaluated. Anticoagulant therapy is also evaluated in patients with stable coronary heart disease, including after coronary stenting.

The current interest in the Korea’s nation branding model is due to the rapid and apparent change of attitude to Korean cultural and industrial products globally. The policy of national branding has been implemented in the Republic of Korea for over 20 years. At the first stage, the creation of a favorable image of the country was supposed to help bringing the high standards of living and a developed economy into line with the predominantly negative assessments of Korea by foreign audiences of potential consumers of Korean products. The “Korea brand” building strategy is realized by the state with the implementation of branding campaigns through partnerships with private corporations. Public-private partnership allows ensuring the continuity of the process due to the mutual interest of the participating parties as raising the status of the “Korea brand” brings both political and economic dividends. In order to shape the social behavior of Koreans, domestic advertising campaigns are also organized in support of the objectives of improving the country’s image. Nation branding campaigns aim at promoting the country’s development goals, gaining international recognition in various fields, and are supported by South Koreans. At the same time, certain aspects and practices of implementing this policy encouraged public debate on the issue with the range of opinions from supportive to critical ones. The desire for international recognition, combined with the participation of many actors in the implementation of nation’s branding policy, often led to the incorrect presentation of Korea, its history, sports, and culture causing unexpected and undesirable results.

This article aims at contributing to the current debate over the effects of illicit transnational activities on states. Recent avenues of conceptualizing transnational organized crime call for defining it as an economic activity with the scope of profit, rather than a criminal activity. Illicit transnational business activities largely follow the trends in development of legal business. The transnational criminal enterprises emerged in parallel to the growth of multinational corporations, making use of the same opportunities as legal business did. The article discusses violence by illicit enterprises and reviews current theoretical debate on the linkages between illicit enterprises and the state. The paper then proceeds with an empirical analysis of the effects of the presence of illicit enterprises on state weakness. We have hypothesized that weak states may have higher presence of criminal businesses. The findings generally confirm significant correlation between the two variables. State fragility is positively correlated with the presence of organized crime. Testing these results against empirical evidence partially confirms the findings. However, this correlation might be weakened by the observation that the presence of illicit enterprises alone does not determine state fragility or strength.

Semitransparent composites with glass microspheres are promising modern materials. In particular, they contribute to the increase of the efficiency of heat-insulating coatings. An experimental study of the transmission and scattering of infrared radiation (at wavelengths from 2 to 25 μm) by a sodium borosilicate glass microsphere powder is presented. The spectra, angular-scattering patterns, and the degree of polarization of scattered radiation were studied.

We report on the effect of phosphorus doping of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) on the photoinduced heating processes. SiNWs samples were prepared by metal-assisted chemical etching of low boron-doped crystalline silicon (c-Si) wafers followed with thermo-diffusional doping with phosphorous (P) up to 1020 cm-3. We establish that the P-doping (n-type) results in effective heat conduction along SiNWs toward the c-Si substrate during laser heating. Partial phase transition in P-doped SiNWs under intense photoheating was detected by means of Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence. The observed doping effects were explained by a contribution of charge carriers (electrons) to the heat distribution along SiNWs and partial screening of the crystal lattice potential. The obtained results can be useful for the development of new photonic and optoelectronic devices based on SiNWs.

The paper offers characteristic features of regional peculiarities that the traditional and modern urban cultures of Mari El Republic possess. This region is remarkable for interaction of Slavic, Finno-Ugric and Turkic cultures. The authors display changes of the content and forms of Russian folk texts in XIX-XX (and XXI in the second part of the paper) as well as their propensity to borrowing. The material used in the study includes folk epic prose (stories, legends, bylichki) and poetry (historic songs, ballads and spiritual poems), ritual lyrical poetry (calendar rites and rites of the circle of life) and non-ritual lyrical poetry. As a result, the authors come to a conclusion that in the XX century in the Volga Region there were a number of events that proved detrimental for the traditional peasant way of life and culture. However, the analysis of the material manifests surprisingly well-preserved genres (among them there are genres common for the Russian culture of the Volga Region) as well as separate unique species, their vitality and power. It is important to notice that the most talented performers of folk pieces, their family members and their community seem to have preserved a highly respectful attitude towards traditional values, faith in their effectiveness, a desire to share their knowledge. To the most significant constituents of their life experience one can refer an ability to live in harmony, to give a helping hand when needed, to worship nature, to be conscientious, sympathetic, and socially optimistic despite hard lives. As for the artistic value of Russian folklore of Mari El Republic, the condition of texts recorded in the area proves the opinion of researchers working outside the republic. Nowadays works of folk-art that fulfil educational, informative and communicative functions take the first place. In most cases the mythological basis has been lost. As a result, many of ritual forms have become games. Almost all genres demonstrate the process of their semantic update. Old forms are filled with new content. The traditional imagery has simplified a lot; a number of artistic devices, which are not of current interest, have been lost. In the field of ethnic interactions, one should pay attention to the tauseneviy door-to-door rite, which is unique in its archaic basis and verbal accompaniment. The rite emerged at the junction of Finno-Ugric (the Mordva) and Slavic (the Russians) ritual culture. The paper also introduces forms of modern presentation of regional folklore and shares the authors’ experience of developing virtual folklore museums with game play elements. The last part of the paper deals with the phenomenon of the Internet folklore of Mari El Republic. The Internet and specific public pages in social media have been serving a platform for contemporary folklore focusing on urban culture and people’s perception of urban realia for almost a decade. The paper covers the Internet genres of folklore and their functions including their role of markers of local identity, and street art as a reflection of certain tendencies of a town’s life.

The infrared optical properties of anisotropic mesoporous silicon films containing free charge carriers (holes) are studied experimentally and theoretically. The results of simulation of the optical properties of the produced samples in the effective-medium approximation show a heavy dependence of the birefringence, reflection anisotropy, and dichroism on the concentration of free charge carriers. The unsteady behavior of the differential transmittance recorded for the samples at mutually perpendicular polarization directions of light are attributed to the effect of charge carriers with a concentration on the order of 1019 cm–3. The results of the study suggest that anisotropic silicon nanostructures are promising materials for infrared photonics and terahertz engineering.

Подчеркивается, что саморегуляция является одной из важных составляющих психологической готовности к школе, при этом «контроль поведения» составляет основу саморегуляции личности. В работе показаны особенности контроля поведения в дошкольном возрасте, а также структура и развитие.

The presence of coarse fiber in newborn animals indicates the viability and high productivity of animals in adulthood, therefore, when breeding meat-wool sheep of the Jalghin merino breed, flocks of lambs should be formed according to the amount of coarse fiber at birth. It was found that in all groups, animals born with coarse fiber at all age periods had superiority in live weight over animals born without coarse fiber. In group I of the fine line, 72.5% were born without coarse fiber, and 27.5% with coarse fiber. In group III of the strong line, 13.6% were born without coarse fiber of lambs, 86.4% with coarse fiber. In the second group of the medium line, there was practically the same ratio of without and with coarse fiber lambs and amounted to 48.7% and 51.3%, respectively. It was found that, at birth and at 4 months of age, in terms of live weight, rams with coarse fiber, regardless of their linearity, outnumbered their peers. The feasibility of using Prevention-N-E, a newly developed and tested biological product, in comparison with the previously tested PS-6 preparation in the adaptive technology of keeping specialized beef cattle of imported breeding, had been scientifically substantiated and experimentally proved. Against the background of the use of drugs in animals of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups, the incidence of the digestive and respiratory organs decreased by 1.4 and 2.3 times, the recovery time reduced by 3.36 and 4.88 days, accordingly, compared with the control (P st and 2nd experimental groups exceeded in live weight control subjects by 6.6 and 9.2 kg, rearing by 10.4 and 14.8 kg, and fattening by 14.2 and 22.2 kg respectively. In the cuts of the carcasses of bulls of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups, there was a bigger amount of the highest grade flesh: in spin-breast – by 1.0 and 1.0 kg, in the lumbar – by 0.2 and 0.4 kg, and in the hip – by 2.3 and 4.2 kg, rather than in the control.

to study effect of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) on regional cerebral blood flow and cognitive function in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD).We included into this study 22 patients with IHD subjected to CABG surgery with CPB. All patients underwent brain SPECT scanning and comprehensive neuropsychological testing 1 day before, 10-14 days and 6 months after surgery.Overall CABG with CPB was followed by reduction of regional cerebral blood flow relative to baseline in frontal and parietal cortex (p0.01). Substantial reduction (5%) of cerebral perfusion in early postoperative period was observed in 15 patients (68%) while seven patients (32%) had no significant changes of regional cerebral blood flow. Changes of cerebral perfusion correlated with dynamics of cognitive status. Mean measures of immediate verbal memory, delayed memory, and learning decreased after surgery by 25.6 (p = 0.002), 43.3 (p = 0.000003), and 23.1% (p = 0.00000), respectively. Moreover after CABG with CPB patients demonstrated slowing of psychomotor speed by 13.6% (p = 0.03).CABG with CPB was associated with reduction of cerebral perfusion leading to cognitive dysfunction. Immediate and delayed verbal and visual memory, learning and psychomotor speed were most sensitive to the negative effects of surgery.

Arrays of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) of about 100 nm in diameter formed by metal-assisted chemical etching of crystalline silicon (c-Si) substrates were studied regarding efficiency of optical interactions in them. Strong scattering in the SiNW arrays results in enhanced photon lifetime in them, which was evidenced by measurement of the cross-correlation function for femtosecond pulses scattered by the SiNW arrays. This effect results in an order of magnitude growth of efficiency such processes as spontaneous Raman scattering and third-harmonic (TH) generation compared to the signals for c-Si. Using (110) oriented c-Si substrate we managed to make well-oriented tilted SiNWs demonstrating strongly anisotropy of the TH and coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering signals. In particular, efficiencies of these processes differ significantly when incident radiation propagates along or perpendicular to the SINWs. The obtained results could be explained by variations of the local fields in SiNWs and scattering cross-section.

Burns (combustio) - tissue damage arising from thermal, chemical, electrical or radiation exposure. Burn disease – a complex violation of the organs and systems, developing due to extensive burns. The cause of burn disease is the loss of all types of the skin functions, loss of plasma, the collapse of red blood cells, as well as metabolic disorders. The probability of development, severity, and prognosis in this pathology are determined by the age of the patient, the General condition of his body and some other factors, but the leading role is played by the area of the lesion. 500 thousand animals are burned according to statistics in Russia for the year, and as a rule, mortality among burned animals is more than 11%. Treatment includes antibiotic therapy, infusion, and detoxification therapy, correction of all organs and systems. Treatment of burns of the first and second degree is most often limited to the local use of drugs that reduce pain sensitivity, promote faster tissue regeneration and help prevent infection, which leads to lengthening of healing processes and other complications. In the case of third and fourth-degree burns, regular thorough cleaning of the affected areas is also necessary, sometimes surgical intervention is required. Today, burns are widespread, so the search for effective treatments remains relevant. In this paper, we describe the etiology, pathogenesis of burns of small pets, the definition of the most effective and cost-effective method of treatment. The task of the research was also to determine the degree of burns and diagnosis of burns.

Silicon nanowire (SiNW) arrays formed by metal-assisted chemical etching of boron low-doped crystalline silicon (c-Si) substrates were studied regarding enhanced efficiency of optical interactions in them. Along with high diffuse reflection of the structures under study, Raman and third-harmonic signals exhibited an order of magnitude growth compared to c-Si response in the near-infrared spectral region. Changes in the orientation dependencies of the third-harmonic intensity with SiNW length increase promoted the explanation of the optical peculiarities of SiNW arrays. Cross-correlation of the scattered radiation function evidenced that the effects could be explained by enhanced photon lifetime inside mesoscopic structure of SiNW arrays due to multiple scattering. Hence a correlation between the photon lifetime and the Raman and third-harmonic efficiency in SiNWs was revealed.
