Introduction. Human performance depends on external and internal factors. Of a number of external factors, the environmental aspect is one of the leading ones. Internal factors are interrelated with external ones. The latter include the general condition of the human body, as well as the normal functioning of individual systems and organs. It must be noted that the use of herbal drugs in order to prevent the development of pathologies caused by internal factors is rational. A number of plants contain substances that can improve performance by strengthening the cardiovascular system, normalizing the liver, adjusting daily rhythms, reducing stress. In this regard, the development of the composition and technology of drugs based on substances of plant origin does not lose relevance.Aim. Development of the composition of solid oral dosage form based on dry extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge containing saponins.Materials and methods. As an object of research, a substance was used – dry extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge, standardized in accordance with the requirements of SP XIV ed. Lactose monohydrate, calcium stearate, methylcellulose, corn starch, talc were used as excipients in the tablet technology. Under laboratory conditions, granulation was carried out by the wet mass extrusion method. A 3 % methylcellulose solution was used as the wetting reagent. Quality parameters of the final dosage form, tablets, were determined according to the methods described in SP XIV ed.Results and discussion. As a result of the conducted research, the composition of a solid oral dosage form based on a dry extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge was proposed. The main quality indicators of the obtained dosage form are determined. A design quality specification has been developed for a drug.Conclusion. The present study proposed technology dry extract for Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge herb. Quality index of the obtained plant substance are determined. The composition and technology of tablets based on the dry extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge herb have been developed. The main quality indicators of tablets based on the dry extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge herb were determined. A draft quality specification of the resulting dosage form has been developed.

Introduction. Substances of plant origin exhibit a variety of pharmacological activity in combination with a relatively low toxicity and frequency of side effects. In this regard, a promising direction is the standardization of substances of plant origin in the development of new herbal medicinal products.Aim. Qualitative and quantitative determination of individual coumarin in a dry extract of Melilotus оfficinalis L.Materials and methods. A dry extract of the Melilotus officinalis L. was used as an object of research. Determination of individual coumarin was carried out by high-performance liquid chromatography.Results and discussion. As a result of the research, coumarin was identified by high performance liquid chromatography based on comparison of retention times of the sample with retention times of a standard sample of coumarin in the sample of dry extract under research. The coumarin contents in the dry extract was 0.642 ± 0.007 %.Conclusion. The data obtained on the qualitative and quantitative content of coumarin in the dry extract of Melilotus оfficinalis L. were used in the development of the draft version specification of quality indicators.

Introduction. The development of the composition of drugs is very difficult and long process. To implement it, it is currently recommended to apply a modern approach – quality through the development of Quality by design. One of the methods for introducing this approach is the use of multifactorial experiments.Aim. The aim of the work was to develop the composition and technology of effervescent tablets using the Minitab program.Materials and methods. For the study used the program Minitab (ver. 18.), Minitab LLC, USA. The program created an experiment plan and evaluated those obtained on the basis of its models using regression analysis.Results and discussion. The composition and technology of effervescent tablets was developed by direct compression using the principles of Quality by design. Algorithms of actions for using the Minitab software package for development are proposed. An experiment plan was constructed and models of the dependence of quality indicators on the composition and technological parameters were generated. The resulting sub-sections were analyzed using regression analysis tools.Conclusion. Based on the results of the work, the composition of effervescent tablets obtained by direct compression technology, as well as the algorithm of drug development in the Minitab program, was proposed.

The aim of this study is to develop the technology of dry extracts from the roots of Morinda citrifolia as a prospective phyto-active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) for obtaining medicinal products. Factors influencing the extraction process of active ingredients from the roots of Morinda citrifolia were investigated. The modes of extraction were formulated: extraction time of 60 minutes, the hydro-module was established to be 1:30, the extractant - 70% ethyl alcohol. The study developed a technological process of obtaining dry extracts.The technological scheme of production of dry extracts was proffered. The parameters of standardization of the dry extract of Morinda citrifolia roots were established.

The aim of the study is the development and standardization of granules in hard gelatin capsules based on the composition of dry extracts of Bidens tripartita L., Solidago canadensis L. and Agrimonia eupatoria L. herbs, possessing nephroprotective activity and antifibrotics in toxic nephropathies. Developed the structure and defined the quality indicators of the pellets with dry extracts of Bidens tripartita L., Solidago canadensis L. and Agrimonia eupatoria L. herbs. The quality specification for the drug - granules of the composition of dry extracts in solid gelatin capsules is developed.

The aim of the study on the development conditions for extraction of a series of three-part herbs, Bidens tripartita L., Solidago canadensis L. and Agrimonia eupatoria L. herbs in the technology of dry extracts. The influence of factors on the process of extraction of activety substances of a series of three-part herbs, Bidens tripartita L., Solidago canadensis L. and Agrimonia eupatoria L. have been studied. Features are studied and regularities of extraction of Bidenst ripartita L., Solidago canadensis L. and Agrimonia eupatoria L. herbs.

The object of this study is dry camel thorn extract (Alhagi Kirghisorum Schrenk). When analyzing internet sources, materials on the camel thorn were collected and we studied its types. The technological properties of the substance - dry camel thorn extract (Alhagi Kirghisorum Schrenk), obtained under supercritical conditions, have been studied. The purpose of the study was to develop the composition and technology of producing tablets based on camel thorn extract: the effect of alcohol concentration on the process of wet granulation of a mixture of powders containing a dry extract. Ethyl alcohol at a concentration of 30% was chosen as the granulating liquid. The granulate is a free-flowing powder of a light brown color, convenient for the tabletting process, and we developed the composition of the tablet mass and the technology of tablets based on a dry camel spine extract. A composition was selected and a film coating technology was developed based on Vivacoat formulations. Tablets were obtained round, biconvex, diameter 12 mm, color light green with pearlescent. According to the pharmaceutical indicators, tablets of the selected composition comply with the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
