Investment on the stock market is being popular nowadays, to gain profits in the future called return. Stock prices in the stock exchange moves fast and uncertain in which investors face risk. To optimize return, alternative investment choices need to be concerned. Stochastic Dominance (SD) is decision criterion under risk for nonparametric comparison of distribution functions. This research is aimed to apply SD criteria on monthly data of closing stock price which is categorized as Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Parametric approach using normal distribution will be added to improve the decision rule of SD. Furthermore, normality test was performed on the stock returns. The research shows that the data obtained formed 45 stock combinations with 29 dominant stock combinations as the result of SD analysis.

Capital city in every country has an important role. One of them is for the central of government. A capital city is selected by considering many aspects. These include location which is in the middle of the country, and history which was happened before. On the middle of 2019, Indonesian's President announced that Indonesian's capital city will be shifted from Jakarta to East Kalimantan. The statement makes a lot of public opinions especially in social media Twitter. The opinions can be used for sentiment analysis. This research aims to classify the information of public sentiments about Indonesian's capital city changes. The classification divided by two class which are positive sentiments and negative sentiments. The classification method that used in this sentiment analysis research is Support Vector Machine (SVM) with three function method, which are linear function, Radial Basis Function (RBF), and sigmoid function. The process include text mining, text preprocessing, analyze using SVM, data classification, and visualization. From the result of classification, linear function is the best function on this research with the accuracy value is 96,93% with 97,81% specificity value and 95% sensitivity value.

Interpersonal intelligence is a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others consciously in different environments. The difference in the level of interpersonal intelligence affects communicating with other students. Mathematical communication skills are the ability to convey mathematical ideas either orally, in writing, or in motion. The purpose of this study was to see the mathematical communication skills of students with high interpersonal intelligence. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with instruments in the form of tests of mathematical communication skills, interpersonal intelligence questionnaires, and interviews. The subjects of this study were 2 students from class VIII SMPN 2 Baki who have high interpersonal intelligence selected by purposive sampling. The triangulation used is method and source. The results of this study indicate that students with high interpersonal intelligence can meet all indicators of mathematical communication skills. However, some students have not fulfilled one of the indicators of mathematical communication skills, namely expressing real objects, situations, and everyday events into the form of mathematical models. One of the contributing factors is that students do not understand the information on the story questions presented, so students must be asked story questions related to everyday life.

The COVID-19 Pandemic requires teachers to innovate. Mathematics game on computer or android platform is one of the utilization of technology in the 4.0 era as interactive learning. This type of research is research and development which aims to produce a proper and interesting mathematics game application based on multimedia for junior high school students. Appropriate learning media here is learning media that has valid, practical and effective criteria. The mathematics game application in this research was developed by Microsoft PowerPoint software. This research was using preliminary study and product development stages. The subjects of this research were the seventh-grade students of junior high school in Tuntang Sub-district. The scoring results by the material expert get the average score 42 then categorized as very feasible, while the scoring results by the design or display expert get the average score 44 then categorized as very feasible. On the limited scale trial test get the score of 42 then categorized as very good, and on the wide scale trial test get a score of 43 then categorized as very good. Based on the results can be concluded that the mathematics game is very feasible and interesting for junior high school students.

Creative thinking skill is an ability to provide possible ideas and logical answers based on the information provided. The research aimed to identify and describe the creative thinking skills of mathematics. The type of this research was a qualitative descriptive research. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results showed that of the 5 subjects, 20% of the subjects were unable to show the three indicators of creative thinking abilities in mathematics (not creative), 40% were able to show indicators of fluency (less creative), 20% were able to show Originality (creative enough), and 20 % were able to show indicators of fluency and flexibility (creative).

This study aims to describe the mathematical connection profile of high school students with converger learning styles in solving mathematics problems. This research is an exploratory descriptive study. The research subjects were first-grade students of SMA N Mojogedang with converger learning style. Data collection methods used questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Sampling was conducted by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The analysis technique was performed through the triangulation of time and technique. The results show that the low mathematical connection ability was due to a lack of in-depth understanding of mathematical concepts. Students did not practice the concepts in trigonometry and other mathematics material so when they were given problems they could only understand the problems without being able to find solutions appropriately. The student profile with a converger learning style could generally understand non-routine and routine questions but students were unable to understand concepts on the mathematical topic itself and concepts in other mathematical topics.

Problem-solving is one of the mathematical abilities that students must possess. This study aims to analyze and describe students’ problem-solving abilities in the linear equation systems with two variables as consideration for improving the quality of learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 20 tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Comal. They were taken by using purposive sampling method. This research variable is an indicator of problem-solving ability that consists of understanding the problem, identifying and planning problem-solving, solving problems according to plan, and re-examining the answers generated. The data were collected by using tests and interview methods. The result showed that 73,5% of the students were successful in understanding the problems, 59,5% of the students were successful in identifying and planning problem-solving, 38% of the students were successful in solving problems according to plan, and 26% of the students were successful in re-examining the answers generated. Most students were not able to model mathematical forms correctly and have difficulty in solving problems.

In the 21st century, digital media is very important in life. With the development of technology, teachers must be able to develop multimedia-based learning systems. Modules are teaching materials that can be arranged in certain forms and can help learning activities. Modules can be made in various forms, one of them is a digital module. Macromedia Flash is an application for creating animations that are widely used by animators. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the digital Macromedia Flash module in mathematics learning. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the author’s research, it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash digital module is very effective on mathematics learning. Digital modules can increase student’s motivation on mathematics learning and increase the activity of students in the learning process.

The aim of this research is to find out the effect of learning models, students thinking style, and interaction between the learning model and students thinking style on students’ mathematical communication ability. This research was quasi-experimental research with factorial design 2×4. The population of research was all students of the eighth-grader in the Nganjuk regency of Junior High School in academic year 2018/2019. The sample of research consists of 184 students. The data in the research were two ways of analysis of variance with unequal cells, with the 5% level of significance. The results of the research were as follow: (1) The 7E learning cycle provides better mathematical communication ability than the direct learning; (2) Students with SK and SA thinking style was better mathematical communication ability than AK and AA; (3) In each type of learning model, students with SK and SA thinking style have mathematical communication ability that was better than AK and AA; (4) In each students thinking style, students taught using the 7e learning cycle provide better mathematical communication ability than direct learning. 7E learning cycle can be used to improve the mathematical communication ability of junior high school students based on their thinking style.

Students had different characteristics of learning styles, differences from these characteristics can affect learning achievement, confidence, communication, and other activities. This study aims to analyze student learning achievement with all three learning styles. The method in this study is a quantitative method and continued with analysis. The data of this study were obtained from all junior high school students at Karanganyar, Indonesia, district and used multiple choice question test instruments and questionnaires. The results of this study indicated that student learning achievements have differences from learning styles. To improve learning achievement, in mathematics learning students are trained to work on math problems and the teacher expected to know student learning styles so that the teacher can provide appropriate to handle students at Karanganyar Regency.

In mid of 1997, a currency crisis had a severe impact on the economy in Indonesia. Based on this situation, it is necessary to build an early warning system to anticipate the crisis events. The crisis occurred due to some macro-economic indicators fluctuated very high and the change of regime. Combined volatility and Markov regime switching models suited to explain the crisis. In this article it was used indicator of lending interest rate / deposit interest rate from 1990 to 2018. The results showed that MRS-GARCH (3,1,1) model can explain the crisis. Based on this model, it can be predicted that in 2019 there was no sign of a currency crisis in Indonesia.

Geometry is the most important material to be learned in school. But the fact that there are still many students often makes errors in resolving the problems of geometry. This research focuses on analysis students’ errors in solving Geometry problems among junior high school students in every higher order thinking skills level. This research used a qualitative descriptive method aimed to identify the students’ errors based on Newman’s error analysis. The errors are associated with planes and related problems. Data collection was done based on students’ work through test and interview. The errors were analyzed according to Newman’s Error Analysis Model consisting of reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and encoding. The result revealed that the students having errors according to Newman’s error analysis in every higher order thinking skills level, they are analyzing, evaluating, and creating.

We consider M/ C 2 b / lqueueing system which is a queueing system with arrival rate follows a Poisson distribution, service rate follows an exponential distribution which is approximated by Coxian 2-phase distribution, service is performed in b -size, and the number of service facility is one. This paper aims to derive the properties of M/ C 2 b / 1 queueing system when the system is in busy pea riod using latticea path combinatorics approach. We consider a special case which is called pure incomplete busy period (PIBP) Through this approach, the queue system is represented in the form of lattice path. Furthermore, we have determined the number of lattice paths and finally, the probability function in the queue system M/ C 2 b / 1 in PIBP is derived.

Poverty is a socio-economic condition of a person or group of people who can not fulfil their basic need to maintain and develop a dignified life. This problem still cannot be solved completely in Central Java Province. Currently, the percentage of poverty in Central Java is 13.32% which is higher than the national poverty rate which is 11.13%. In this research, data of percentage of poor people in Central Java Province has been analyzed through geographically weighted regression (GWR). The aim of this research is therefore to model poverty percentage data in Central Java Province using GWR with weighted function of kernel bisquare, and tricube. As the results, we obtained GWR model with bisquare and tricube kernel weighted function on poverty percentage data in Central Java province. From the GWR model, there are three categories of region which are influenced by different of significance factors.

Recently, the teaching process which is conducted based on teacher center affect the students interaction in the class. It causes students become less interest to participate. That is why teachers should be more creative in designing learning using other types of cooperative learning model. Therefore, this research is aimed to implement NHT with RMA in the teaching process. We utilize NHT since it is a variant of group discussion whose aim is giving a chance to the students to share their ideas related to the teacher's question. By using NHT in the class, a teacher can give a better understanding about the material which is given with the help of Realistic Mathematics Approach (RMA) which known for its real problem contex. Meanwhile, the researcher assumes instead of selecting teaching model, Adversity Quotient (AQ) of student also influences students' achievement. This research used the quasi experimental research. The samples is 60 students in junior high school, it was taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The results show NHT-RMA gives a better learning achievement of mathematics than direct teaching model and NHT-RMA teaching model with categorized as high AQ show different learning achievement from the students with categorized as moderate and low AQ.

The indicator of region economic success can be measured by economic growth, presented by value of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Java island has the biggest GDP contribution toward the Indonesian government, but not all of the region gives equality contribution. The C4.5, CHAID, and CART methods can be used for classifying the status of the region with nonparametric approach. The C4.5 and CHAID methods are non-binary decision tree, meanwhile the CART methods is binary decision tree. The purposes of this paper are to know how the classification and to determine the factors that influence on classification of the region. The dependent variable is status of the region which is divided into four categories based on Klassen typology. The result shows factors that have the biggest contribution on classification of status of the region on Java island based on C4.5 method are economic growth rate, electricity, gas, and water sector, and area. The factors that have the biggest contribution based on CHAID method are growth rate, manufacturing sector, and electricity, gas, and water sector, while based on CART method are growth rate, manufacturing sector, and electricity, gas, and water sector.

Worldwide, 3 billion people depend on rice for more than 20% of their daily calorie intake. Like yield, rice grain quality has now become a primary consideration for producers and consumers. However, preference for grain quality is highly variable in different regions, countries and among different consumers. The grain consists of ≈80% starch and its quality is dependent on a combination of several traits, some of which are influenced by environmental factors. The major physical traits include grain shape, size, chalkiness, degree of milling, and head rice recovery, and chemical characteristics-amylose content, gelatinization temperature and gel consistency. A number of Quantitative Trait Loci (QTLs) have been identified and molecular markers for some of the traits are available. Starch biosynthesis, however, is a complex system involving as many as 18 genes including starch synthases, branching and debranching enzymes, which act in concert to affect starch structure and function at least at six organizational levels. Aroma carries a special place in rice and is controlled by 1 or 2 major genes, and molecular markers for three alleles are available. To improve the nutritional quality, major focus is on developing rice varieties with Pro-vitamin A, high iron and zinc content in the polished grain. Pro-vitamin A enriched rice, Golden Rice, has been used to develop elite indica breeding lines, through marker assisted selection (MAS). Screenhouse and confined field tests have shown that these transgenic Golden Rice lines are similar in agronomic performance to IR64, PSBRc82 and BR29. Iron content is being increased using both conventional and transgenic approaches. Through conventional breeding, enhanced levels of zinc have been produced and QTLs are being mapped. We plan to pyramid genes for Pro-vitamin A, high iron and zinc content to develop micronutrient enriched rice. Some of the priority areas for the genetic enhancement of grain quality include; (1) development of precise quantitative assays for different quality traits, (2) dissect complexity of the genetic control of eating and cooking quality characteristics, (3) discovery of genes known to enhance milling yield, head rice recovery and bran oil quality, (4) better understanding of the chemistry and genetics of cooking and eating quality traits of traditional varieties and of leading varieties like IR64, Basmati 370, Koshihikari, Khao Dawk Mali, (5) formulate selection indices to breed for improved grain quality, (6) develop varieties possessing slowly digestible starch (low glycemic index) that could assist in managing the global pandemic of diabetes. With the recent advances in analytical tools, molecular markers, applied genomics, proteomics and metabolomics, the scope for improving grain and nutritional quality in rice, and combining that with high yield, seems more promising than before.
