The technology of castings gaining in process of investment casting, seeking to reducing of castings costs, enhancement of shell mold properties and gaining castings with improved geometric relationship, which based on application of ceramic shell mold with intermediate porous layer and sump in the form of half of torus, which produced by polymeric model with porosity about 30-40% was developed.

It is determined that the working out technology will allow to increase the using of wastes, to reduce consumption of liquid steel for production of castings, to eliminate defect at casting and etc.

It is determined that at projecting of the inner cage of moulds it is necessary to take into account such parameters as fraction of the main material of the model, content and granulometric composition of its filling components, characteristics of the material of shell mold.

It is shown that porous extracting models produced under the developed technology have high size and geometrical accuracy during the whole time slot of storage and correspond to the 9-10^ class of accuracy, what is higher than the traditional investment patterns have.

Тhе influence of new technology of the porous models production of traditional wax-like smelted materials on dimensional and geometric accuracy of these models is studied.

Using of powder materials in casting by investment patterns allowed to receive the porous extracting models with high thermal stability, quality of surface, to reduce considerably spoilage of shell forms and to produce founding from metal discards, what considerably reduces the cost of the output goods.
