This study explains the case study to develop a metaverse-based training system for the management of the physical fitness of youth. The study targeted developing a smart mirror-based AR physical fitness system and a bone age-based physical fitness management service to enhance exercise capability in youth. Accordingly, the data on youth’s bone age, physical strength, and physique were collected. Based on the collected data, the stage of the human development in youth was categorized, and the physical fitness management system providing the exercise program customized for the phases of physical development was implemented. Furthermore, a solution was devised so that youth with less physical exercise experience could practice physical fitness training without a coach using the smart mirror-based AR physical fitness system. This system uses an RGB-D camera and a three-dimensional posture estimation algorithm to recognize a user’s movement, determine movement accuracy, and provide feedback for the improved exercise effect. The XR Physical Fitness, using a smart mirror implemented in this article, features two features of metaverse’s augmented reality and lifelogging, enabling the youth to enjoy more immersive and enjoyable exercise experiences.

Exercise can induce anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, for which regulation of sirtuins (SIRTs) may be a major consideration for exercise prescription. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of acute aerobic exercise, in particular its intensity, on systemic oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, and SIRT levels. Twenty healthy, untrained males were recruited and randomly assigned to moderate-intensity (MI, 65% VO2max, n = 10) and high-intensity (HI, 85% VO2max, n = 10) exercise. Blood samples were obtained pre-, immediately post-, and 1 h post-exercise for measurements of malonaldehyde (MDA), superoxide dis-mutase (SOD), interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, SIRT-1, SIRT-2, and SIRT-3. Overall, MDA, SOD, IL-6, SIRT-1, and SIRT-3 levels were significantly increased at post-exercise compared with pre-exercise regardless of exercise intensity (p < 0.05). The HI group had significantly higher MDA, SOD, and IL-6 levels than the MI group at post-exercise (p < 0.05), whereas no significant differences were observed in the IL-1β, TNF-α, and SIRT-2 levels (p > 0.05). Altogether, these findings suggest that exercise-induced oxidative stress and inflammatory responses may be dependent on exercise intensity. Moreover, activation of inflammatory cytokines and SIRT family members may be dependent on the intensity of the exercise.

The aim of this study was to analyze the relative importance of bone age and chronological age in physique according to gender and to identify the relative importance of bone age, chronological age, and physique in physical fitness and motor coordination according to gender in order to alleviate the imbalance between physique and physical fitness in children. A total of 666 children(346 males, 320 females) between the ages of 11-14 were enrolled as subjects, and the skeletal maturation, which is proven and used most often as indicators of biological maturation, were measured in order to calculate the bone age. The skeletal maturation were measured by taking hand-wrist radiographs of children and were calculated in order to reflect bone maturities of each part by calculating the bone age using the TW3 method, which determines skeletal maturation. The calculation method of chronological age was done by dividing 12 months into 10 points, giving scores ranging from 0 points in December to 0.91 points in January, starting with the month of the child"s birth. A stadiometer and InBody 270(Biospace, Korea) were used to measure 8 components in physique. Physical fitness were measured through a total of 4 components: muscular strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance; and motor coordination were measured through a total of 3 components: balance, agility, power. The data processing was performed using SPSS 25.0 with descriptive statistics, stepwise regression, and it was considered significant at the level of P< 0.05. The results of this study may be summarized as follows. First, physique variables for both males and females aged 11-14 were found to be more significant predictors of bone age than chronological age. Second, for physical fitness in males, in the order of %fat, body water, waist-hip ratio, weight, fat-free mass, and chronological age were more significant predictor variables; and in females, in the order of %fat, fat-free mass, height, chronological age, weight, bone age, fat mass, and body water were more significant predictor variables. For bone age and chronological age in physical fitness, bone age in males and chronological age in females found to be the more representative variables respectively.

The pupose of this study was to examined the relationship between self-management Behavior, Self-Efficacy, and Performance of College Golf Athletes. Research participants selected total number of 186 players who are currently college golf athletes around Seoul, Gyonggi. The participants was collected by convenient sampling methed, excluded 12 questionnaires due to the lack of information therefore, 174 questionnaires was collected to used as analysis. The questionnaires was done by self-administration method. The analysis was done throght SPSS 23.0 version and AMOS 20.0 version; frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, structure equation model analysis, and path analysis was done. After the analysis, the results are as follow. First, College golf athletes self-management behavior showed positive(+) effects on self-efficacy. Second, College golf athletes self-efficacy showed positive(+) effects on Performance. Lastly, College golf athletes self-management behavior showed positive(+) effects on Performance.

A purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Kinesio taping therapy on the reduction of elbow joint pain and the improvement in muscle function in elderly women. The elderly female test subjects having elbow joint pain were selected at the I region, and thirteen was subjected to Kinesio taping therapy, and compared them with the non-treating thirteen controls. Five-centimeter wide taping was applied to Kinesio taping groups, twice a week for four weeks. After that, we analyzed various changes such as visual analogue scale, pronation and supination, and muscular endurance. As a result, a statistically significant reduction in visual analogue scale was founded, and meaningful increases in flexibility-demonstrated by pronation and supination test-was observed. Moreover, a statistically significant increase in muscle endurance was also noticed. Overall, this study confirmed the positive effects of the Kinesio Taping Therapy on pain and muscular function for elderly women.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of latin dance on adiponectin and leptin for obesity middle-age women. Obesity middle-age women(women=16) participants in latin dance program for 12 weeks. They were training for 60 minutes a day and 3 times per week. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(adiponectin, leptin). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a=.05. The results were as follows: adiponectin, there was significant difference according to the measurement, leptin, there was significant difference according to the measurement. From the results, we findings suggest that Obesity middle-age women could improve their adiponectin and leptin through latin dance program.
