Abstract Background Vietnam is undergoing a rapid epidemiological transition with a considerable burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), especially hypertension and diabetes (T2DM). Continuity of care (COC) is widely acknowledged as a benchmark for an efficient health system. This study aimed to determine the COC level for hypertension and T2DM within and across care levels and to investigate its associations with health outcomes and disease control. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted on 602 people with T2DM and/or hypertension managed in primary care settings. We utilized both the Nijmegen continuity of care questionnaire (NCQ) and the Bice - Boxerman continuity of care index (COCI) to comprehensively measure three domains of COC: interpersonal, informational, and management continuity. ANOVA, paired-sample t-test, and bivariate and multivariable logistic regression analysis were performed to examine the predictors of COC. Results Mean values of COC indices were: NCQ: 3.59 and COCI: 0.77. The proportion of people with low NCQ levels was 68.8%, and that with low COCI levels was 47.3%. On November 6th, 2021, the first light rail transit (LRT) began operating in Vietnam after a decade of construction. This project aimed to alleviate traffic congestion in the road network of the Hanoi capital. However, despite the deployment of the transit service, passenger volume remains under-capacity, raising questions about how to encourage people, particularly young individuals, to use the new public transit. Hence, this study investigated students’ behavior in choosing the LRT as a means of transport. Statistical analysis of the questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction level was the dominant factor affecting the mode choices of students. Besides, distance from home to school and LRT station accessibility significantly influenced students’ traveling behavior. These findings provide fundamental insight into young Vietnamese individuals’ behavior regarding a new transit service. We believe these outcomes would help support policy-makers and service providers in improving the LRT projects’ efficiency.

This study aimed to investigate the current state of education on the development of children's cooperative abilities via the use of themed role-playing games in Dak Lak, Vietnam. The period between March through June 2019 was devoted to administering an online survey for data collection. The findings indicate that preschools have devoted attention, effort, intellect, and time to developing primary students' collaboration abilities. Despite this, the findings are still relatively low and do not reflect the proportional number of participants. The youngsters aged 5 to 6 years old have shown that the measures benefit their ability to collaborate with others. The youngsters are more engaged in the activity, taking the initiative, and showing enthusiasm for interacting with one another. The experimental and control groups were quite different regarding their ability to collaborate effectively. In comparison to the youngsters in the control group, those in the experimental group demonstrated superior collaboration skills on a more consistent and regular basis.

In Vietnam, each primary care community health center (CHC) consists of a multi-professional team with six disciplines, including a physician, assistant physician, nurse, pharmacist, midwife, and Vietnamese traditional physician, who are able to meet the majority of patient's needs at the primary care level. How they collaborate, especially in chronic disease management (CDM), is still limited described in the literature. This study aims to gain insight into the perceptions and the experiences of primary health care providers (PHCPs) toward interprofessional collaboration (IPC) in CDM in CHCs in (Hue) Vietnam. A qualitative study of descriptive phenomenology was performed using two focus groups and 15 semi-structured interviews with PHCPs from six professions relevant to CDM in CHCs. The data were analyzed using NVivo 12.0 with a thematic analysis method by a multiprofessional research team. From the analysis, the data were classified into three main themes: "lack of collaborative practice," "knowledge," and "facilitators and barriers to IPC." This study provided evidence of the awareness that actual collaboration in daily care is fragmentarily organized and that PHCPs try to finish their tasks within their profession. PHCPs work multiprofessionally and lack shared decision-making in patient-centered care. There is a need to develop an interprofessional education program and training to address these deficiencies in the Vietnamese context to improve interprofessional collaboration in health care. Heusler alloy is a ferromagnetic alloy based on the Heusler phase. It is an intermetallic alloy between metallic and non-metallic elements that can be non-ferromagnetic and has a BCC crystal structure. This paper presents the theory of thermodynamics and elastic deformation of full-Heusler A2BC alloy with BCC structure built on the basis of statistical moment method (SMM). The paper presents numerical results for the temperature and pressure dependence of the mean nearest neighbor distance between two atoms, the density, the volume, the thermal expansion coefficient, the isotherm and adiabatic compressibilities, the isothermal elastic modulus, the heat capacities at constant volume and pressure, Young's modulus, the bulk modulus, longitudinal and transverse wave velocities of alloys Co2TaGa and Co2VGa when using the coordination sphere method and the Mie–Lennard-Jones pair interaction potential. By identifying the connectedness of seven indicators from January 1, 2019, to June 13, 2022, we choose an extended joint connectedness approach to a vector autoregression model with time-varying parameter (TVP-VAR) to analyze interlinkages between Crypto Volatility (CV) and Energy Volatility (EV). Our findings show that the COVID-19 outbreak seems to have an impact on the dynamic connectedness of the whole system, which peaks at about 60% toward the end of 2019. According to net total directional connectedness over a quantile, throughout the 2020–2022 timeframe, natural gas and crude oil are net shock transmitters, while the CV, clean energy, solar energy, and green bonds consistently receive all other indicators. Specifically, pairwise connectedness indicates that the CV appears to be a net transmitter of shocks to all energy indicators before the COVID-19 outbreak but acts as a net receiver of shocks from clean energy, wind energy, and green bonds in late 2020. The CV mostly has spillover effects on green bonds. The primary net transmitter of shocks to the Crypto market is crude oil. Our findings are critical in helping investors and authorities design the most effective policies to lessen the vulnerabilities of these indicators and reduce the spread of risk or uncertainty. In this paper, a linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based design is proposed for the passivity-based output feedback control problem of fractional-order static neural networks (FOSNNs). Different from the current works, the studied model is the static fractional-order neural network. The novel convex Lyapunov function is constructed to obtain new conditions for the existence of output feedback controllers which guarantee the closed-loop systems are passive. In addition, we also extend the obtained results to generalized fractional-order neural networks. A numerical example is presented to verify the proposed results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
