The emergence of big data has caused various challenges to data management lifecycle including storage, processing, sharing, and applications. During the same time frame, the fast development in cloud computing provides increased efficiency in computing support that address these challenges. However, there are issues in big data and cloud computing management which include security concerns, data fragmented, and distrust in using clouds that could become the roadblock to e-government services success. Although ensuring data management has been the responsibility of providers in the public sector, this issue seems to be unavoidable. In such circumstances, initiatives from the public sector agencies are crucial to ensure data is effectively managed. This research in progress aims to investigate how the public sector agencies in Terengganu manage data to improve the e-government performance. The research uses the interpretive research paradigm and adopts the qualitative research methodology using a case study design. A single case of a public sector which utilizes big data and cloud computing within the e-government platform is selected as the case for this research. The findings of this research are expected to be used in developing a framework of big data and cloud computing management which will assist in providing reliable and accurate information to citizens within the e-government environment.

The use of bio-signals analysis in human-robot interaction is rapidly increasing. There is an urgent demand for it in various applications, including health care, rehabilitation, research, technology, and manufacturing. Despite several state-of-the-art bio-signals analyses in human-robot interaction (HRI) research, it is unclear which one is the best. In this paper, the following topics will be discussed: robotic systems should be given priority in the rehabilitation and aid of amputees and disabled people; second, domains of feature extraction approaches now in use, which are divided into three main sections (time, frequency, and time-frequency). The various domains will be discussed, then a discussion of each domain's benefits and drawbacks, and finally, a recommendation for a new strategy for robotic systems.

Background: Research is an essential component in the advancement of medicine. Evidence indicates that developing regions have low research productivity and contribution to the international literature. It is unclear if physicians' attitudes and perceptions of research could be contributory. Objectives: This study examined the attitudes to research, perceived barriers to research, and experiences of prior participation in research projects among physicians from the Middle East and Africa. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional electronic survey was developed based on the published literature to address these questions and was E-mailed to a large sample of practising clinicians and academics. Results: A total of 283 responses received, 61.1% were men with a mean age of 48 years. Responses originated from 23 countries. The majority were from the Middle East (79.2%), whereas 29.9% were from African countries. Over half of physicians (51.1%) held high-level speciality qualifications and were senior clinicians or academics (50.9%). Regarding engagement in research, 41.3% were interested in research but not involved at the time of the survey, 38.5% were involved but not formally employed in a research role, 12.7% had formal research roles, and 7.4% were not interested in research. Majority conducting research held lead-investigator roles (44.2%) followed by co-investigator roles in 37.9% of respondents. Most of the research work was self-initiated original research (42.6%) followed by clinical case series (35.7%). Main motivators to conduct research were contributing to the practice and improving patients' care. Main deterrents to research were lack (41.7% of respondents) and/or difficulty in acquiring research funding (50.2%), in addition to the lack of research-protected time (40.5%). Conclusions: The majority of physicians interested and/or involved in research are not formally employed in a research role. The facilitators seem to stem from personal interest and professional recognition, whereas barriers result from lack of time, support, and expertise.

Objective: Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) is defined as an excessive concern in choosing and preparing of meals according to strict rules. The aim of this study was evaluating the threat of orthorexia in a group of students and nutritionists and the tendency toward the presentation of ON behaviorMethods: This cross-sectional study was carried out in July and August of 2019 among 421 nutrition students from six universities, in addition to nutritionists in Jordan. Participants completed questionnaire related to individual characteristics and the ORTO-15 scale. Orthorexia Nervosa (ON) tendency was measured using ORTO-15 questionnaire, referring to different diagnostic thresholds (40/35). PResults: Orthorexia had 72.0% prevalence in our sample using the 40-point threshold; the figure was reasonably lower with the 35-point threshold (31.8%). Also, ON tendency was significantly affected by BMI categories (p=0.007) and gender (p=0.043) at 35-point threshold. Males have more tendency (39.4%) than females (28.6%) (p=0.029)Conclusion: The results of this study highlight the magnitude of ON in Jordan. Using cut-off at 35 is preferable than cut-off at 40 to identify factors influencing ON. Moreover, ON tendency is affected by gender and BMI and not affected by educational level.

he objectives of this study are to identify the determinants and the extent of intellectual capital disclosure among Malaysian listed firms. The variables tested in this study are (1) age (2) size (3) leverage (4) profit; (5) ownership and (6) growth. A sample of 150 companies listed in Bursa Malaysia was selected consisting of five industries: Information Technology, Consumer Product, Industrial Product, Trading/Services and Finance. The result show that about 72.6 percent of the companies selected disclosed intellectual capital in their annual reports. That data show that rour variables are determinants of intellectual age, size, director ownership and growth.

We write this letter as a brief report of our personal observation on the relationship between basal insulin requirement and body mass index (BMI) in children and adults with type 1 diabetes on insulin pump therapy.

Insulin pumps are equipped with advanced functions. Intensive training and adherence are required for optimum use of the technology. We aimed to assess the association of various key elements in insulin pump functions on blood glucose control.Patients on insulin pump therapy were enrolled. Insulin pumps were downloaded (CareLink(®) Pro 3 software; Medtronic Minimed, Northridge, CA), and data were collected over an 8-12-week period. Glycemic control of patients was classified as controlled (hemoglobin A1c [HbA1c] level of 7.5% or less in adults and 8% or less in children) and uncontrolled based on HbA1c level at enrollment. Variables studied were use of sensors and duration, frequency of blood glucose monitoring, Bolus Wizard (Medtronic Minimed) use, frequency of correction boluses, and frequency of cannula changing.Seventy-two patients were enrolled (50 children). Median age was 12 years for children and 27.5 years for adults. Respective median numbers of blood glucose checks were 4.4 and 3.2 for controlled and uncontrolled children (P0.021) and 3.1 and 2.8 for controlled and uncontrolled adults, respectively. Respective frequency of Bolus Wizard use per day showed a median of 6 and 4.15 for controlled and uncontrolled children (P0.001) and 3.8 and 3.5 for controlled and uncontrolled adults. Controlled children wore sensors for longer (5 vs. 2.9 days/week) and did more corrections (3.9 vs. 2.5). There was no difference in the frequency of changing the infusion cannula in children's or adults' groups.We conclude that the frequency of blood glucose monitoring and Bolus Wizard use have a favorable association with glycemic control. These observations were more significant in the children's groups. Our data shows that patients with better control tend to bolus more for correction and wear sensors longer.
