This paper researches synchronous measurement system with digital meters Agilent 3458A based on Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. In this system, two digital meters connect to PC by USB/GPIB bus and arbitrary waveform generator 33220A provides external trigger signal to the digital meters. Based on these, we have developed the synchronous measurement software, which can facilitate the realization of automatic measurement and improve measurement efficiency. The measurement method can overcome effect of high voltage power supply ripple and drift as well as decrease type A uncertainty more than 100 times especially in the measurement of voltage divider ratio.

The paper analyzed voltage variation generation mechanism of DC high voltage divider advances high voltage divider variation measurement method---serial and parallel voltage double-method, verifies the establishment condition of series and parallel double-voltage method in theory, measures the voltage variation of DC high voltage divider through experiment, the measurement uncertainty is better than 10-6.

The stability of the high voltage arm resistors has a strong influence on the performance of the resistance high DC voltage divider. So by analyzing the main parameters that affect the resistor value change, including voltage coefficient, power coefficient and so on, a new matching method is proposed to make a high precision high DC voltage divider in this paper. Based on the principle of pairing the resistors and adjusting the big and small ones, a high precision high DC voltage divider could be made with the voltage variation less than 0.005%, even on the condition of using high voltage coefficient and power coefficient resistors.

This paper researches DC high voltage ratios measurement method, which based on two-digital meters with external synchronous trigger mode. Through experiment, the measurement method can overcome the effect of high voltage power supply ripple and drift. The type A uncertainty of this method could decrease more than 10-100 times.

Due to the complexity of the high-voltage experiments and the influence of unknown stray capacitance, the completed high-voltage divider is not a patch on it has been planned. The solution of the leading ANSOFT based on physical prototype could simulate and verify the design with lightning speed and perfect accuracy; but its own modeling function is too limited to meet the engineering modeling demand well. With the powerful parametric design capabilities, the modeling software AutoCAD could simulate complex form. A combination of CAD and ANSOFT is proposed in this paper: at first make 3-D model of the high-voltage divider based on AutoCAD, then by the interface between them, the model is imported to the Maxwell to simulate the magnetic field distribution, which is the finite element analysis software of static-magnetic field. According to the results, this method could effectively improve the modeling speed and quality, and simplify the analysis workload.
