The main instrument employed in this study was McDonald's video game. 17. A high utility quantitative frequent pattern mining algorithm based on related degree.

Abstract

The high utility frequent pattern mining algorithm mines more important frequent patterns from the data by using the importance degree information. On this basis, the high utility quantitative frequent pattern mining algorithm further explores the quantitative relationship between data items, and thus has become a popular research topic in the field of data mining. RHUQI-Miner is proposed to improve the performance and practicability of the algorithm. Firstly, the concept of related degree is proposed, the item related degree structure is constructed according to the related degree, and a pruning optimization strategy is given to find frequent patterns with higher related degree, reducing redundancy and invalid frequent patterns. Secondly, the fixed pattern length strategy is used to modify the utility information of the item in the mining process, so that the algorithm can control the length of the output frequent pattern according to the actual data situation, and further improve the performance and practicability of the algorithm. The experimental results show that RHUQI-Miner can effectively reduce the time and memory consumption in the mining process, which can provide data support for differentiated and precise maintenance strategies. 21. A Study of the Metacognition Performance in Online Inquiry Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to probe into the effect of metacognitive thinking strategies with different teaching strategies in an online inquiry-based junior high course. Two types of teaching strategies were applied in classes with totally 69 students of 9th graders in New Taipei City. Among participants, 34 students were in the experimental group accepting the strategy of "Collaborative Online Inquiry" while the control group of 35 students with "Personal-based Online Inquiry". Data were collected for a six-week lesson on this topic "Campus Folk Song". ANCOVA and class observations, instructors' diary, and interviews with students are measured to understand the different effects of two teaching strategies on students' metacognitive thinking strategies. The result shows that students by "collaborative online inquiry" in experimental group perform their metacognitive strategies better than those by "Personal-based Online Inquiry" in the control group. Abstract

To break through the bottleneck of SERS development in the surface analysis of a great variety of non-SERS active materials and atomically flat single-crystals, we invented shell-isolated nanoparticle-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SHINERS) in 2010 [1]. The shell-isolated nanoparticle-enhanced mode is capable of characterizing the surface water, reaction intermediate species in many important electrocatalytic or photo-electrocatalytic systems, and interfacial structures of the solid electrolyte film [2]. The strategy of using shell-isolated nanoparticles is grossly extendable to other surface spectroscopies, like surface-enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy [3], surface-enhanced second-harmonic generation [4], sum-frequency vibrational spectroscopy, and tip-enhanced spectroscopies [5], to improve the enhancement factor (up to 105) or spatial resolution (down to 10 nm). It will attract more attention if these techniques are applied to in-situ monitor the actual catalytic reaction systems, e.g., at single atoms or a single molecule. In the aspect of fundamental understanding of SHINERS, New plasmonic nanostructures and relevant instrumentation and theory for pushing sensitivity to the limit will be discussed in details [6]. Finally, we would like to explore on the radiation enhancement that cannot be easily predicted by the local field enhancement in the presence of plane-wave illumination at the Raman scattered wavelength in the case of nanoparticle-on-mirror substrate. The mismatch could be understood by the radiation enhancement of the optical antenna in the reaction near-field region instead of the far-field region [7]. Published version
