Acupuncture is an important alternative therapy in treating major depressive disorder (MDD), but its efficacy and safety are still not well assessed. This study is the first network meta-analysis exploring the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture, common pharmacological treatments or other non-medication therapies for MDD. Eight databases including PubMed, Embase, Allied and Complementary Medicine Database, Cochrane Library, Wan Fang Data, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, China Biology Medicine disc, and Chongqing VIP Database were searched up to Jan 17, 2021. Articles were screened and selected by two reviewers independently. We used the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach to assess the certainty of the evidence. A total of 71 eligible studies were included. The network analysis results indicated that the combined interventions of electro-acupuncture (EA) with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and manual acupuncture (MA) with SSRIs were more effective in improving depression symptoms compared with acupuncture alone, pharmacological interventions alone, or other inactive groups. Among all the regimens, EA with SSRIs was found to have the highest effect in improving depression symptoms of MDD. In addition, there were slight differences in the estimations of the various treatment durations. The combination of acupuncture and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) was found to be more effective than SNRIs alone. In conclusion, acupuncture and its combinations could be safe and effective interventions for MDD patients. EA with SSRIs seems to be the most effective intervention among the assessed interventions. Well-designed and large-scale studies with long-term follow-up should be conducted in the future.

Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) exhibits a number of similarities with lung adenocarcinoma (LA) in terms of copy number alterations. However, compared with LA, the range of genetic alterations in LSCC is less understood. In the present study, a large-scale literature-based search of LA-associated genes and LSCC-associated genes was performed to identify the genetic basis in common with these two diseases. For each of the LA-associated genes, a mega-analysis was performed to test its expression variations in LSCC using 11 RNA expression datasets, with significant genes identified using statistical analysis. Subsequently, a functional pathway analysis was performed to identify a possible association between any of the significant genes identified from the mega-analysis and LSCC, followed by a co-expression analysis. A multiple linear regression (MLR) model was employed to investigate the possible influence of sample size, country of origin and study date on gene expression in patients with LSCC. Within the competitive marketing environment, companies are faced with many challenges to stay competitive. Companies are consistently trying to establish the longterm relationship with customers by satisfying them as much as possible. Since relationship marketing has highly-discussed concerns building the long-term relationship and improve customer satisfaction, the study aims to describe how different relationship marketing tactics affect customer satisfaction. According to previous scholars, four different major relationship marketing tactics were selected to investigate and described in the study, which are the quality of service, price perception, brand perception and value proposition. The authors developed a theoretical framework by reviewing previous works of literature to see how companies use relationship marketing tactics as a business strategy to develop customer satisfaction. The method of quantitative research was applied to this study and a online questionnaire was used to collect data. In results chapter, the authors tested descriptive analysis, reliability, validity, regression analysis by analyzing the empirical findings. There are three hypotheses accepted and one rejected. In the end of this paper, the authors analyzed and described the data in detail and revealed the effect of each relationship marketing tactics on customer satisfaction. Limitation of this study and further research are also presented.
