In order to substitute well-studied but hard-to-deposit inorganic cathodoluminescent (CL) compounds with coordination compounds and organic ligands, it is primarily important to establish CL correlation with photoluminescence and increase CL intensity. In this paper, homo- and mixed-ligand 1,4-terephthalates and naphthalene-2,6-carboxylates of europium were studied, including a novel complex (Eu2(nda)3(BPhen)2(H2O)4) whose crystal structure was determined. They were found to display luminescence of various intensities under excitation by fast electrons, which is characteristic of Eu3+. CL intensity correlated with PLQY when the saturation regime was not reached and with PLQY/τ in the saturation regime. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Socially regulated learning (SoRL) is an important way to maintain the sustainable development of collaborative learning (CL). Usually, learners can achieve sustainable and high-quality SoRL with the intervention of teachers. To improve the appropriateness of the intervention, teachers need to clarify the profiles of SoRL to which learners belong, as well as the influence of collaborative learning motivation (CLM) and the relevant background variables. This study used three non-duplicate samples to provide evidence for the psychometric properties of the SoRL and CLM scales through item analysis, exploratory factor analysis (sample 1, n = 531), and confirmatory factor analysis (sample 2, n = 1278). The profiles of SoRL among university students were determined through latent profile analysis (sample 3, n = 909). This study identified three profiles of regulation (strong SoRL, progressive SoRL, and weak SoRL). The analysis of multivariate variance and multiple logistic regression methods further explored the differences in the dimensions of SoRL structures across different profiles and the extent to which CLM and background variables predicted profiles. The results showed that collaborative motivation (CM) and learning motivation (LM) were the predictors of learners' transformation from a low regulation level to a medium regulation level. CM, LM, altruistic motivation, and major background were the predictors of learners' transition from the medium regulation level to the high regulation level. Accordingly, teachers can provide learners with an appropriate external intervention to promote the improvement of SoRL. This study contributes to improving learners' SoRL levels and promoting the sustainable development of education. It is well known that chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell immunotherapy (CAR‐T‐cell immunotherapy) has excellent therapeutic effect in haematological tumours, but it still faces great challenges in solid tumours, including inefficient T‐cell tumour infiltration and poor functional persistence. Flap structure‐specific endonuclease 1 (FEN1), highly expressed in a variety of cancer cells, plays an important role in both DNA replication and repair. Previous studies have reported that FEN1 inhibition is an effective strategy for cancer treatment. Therefore, we hypothesized whether FEN1 inhibitors combined with CAR‐T‐cell immunotherapy would have a stronger killing effect on solid tumours. The results showed that low dose of FEN1 inhibitors SC13 could induce an increase of double‐stranded broken DNA (dsDNA) in the cytoplasm. Cytosolic dsDNA can activate the cyclic GMP–AMP synthase–stimulator of interferon gene signalling pathway and increase the secretion of chemokines. In vivo, under the action of FEN1 inhibitor SC13, more chemokines were produced at solid tumour sites, which promoted the infiltration of CAR‐T cells and improved anti‐tumour immunity. These findings suggest that FEN1 inhibitors could enable CAR‐T cells to overcome poor T‐cell infiltration and improve the treatment of solid tumours. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
