Abstract

Among the various challenges in the field of organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), simultaneously achieving high efficiency, a long lifespan, and a narrow full‐width at half maximum (FWHM) in blue OLEDs remains a significant hurdle. Herein, we demonstrate a strategy to improve the color purity of tetradentate Pt(II) complexes with the assistance of ⋅⋅⋅H interaction by incorporating trifluoromethyl (−CF3) groups into the well‐known blue tetradentate Pt(II) phosphorescent complex. The results show that the different substitution positions of −CF3 have significantly varying effects on the FWHM values of the complexes; specifically, introducing −CF3 on the benzene ring of carbazole effectively reduces the FWHM, while introducing it on the benzene ring linked to the carbene unit has a minimal impact. When utilized in a mixed host system of SiCzCz/SiTrzCz2, the OLEDs with these new complexes as emitters demonstrated maximum external quantum efficiencies (EQEs) of 27.1 %, 33.8 %, and 27.6 % for PtON‐CF3‐1, PtON‐CF3‐2, and PtON‐2CF3, respectively, with excellent color purity (CIEy≈0.14 for the PtON‐CF3‐2 based device). Notably, the device based on PtON‐CF3‐2 matched the stability of the benchmark PtON‐TBBI complex.This work offers an important guideline for the design of high efficient Pt(II) phosphorescent complexes with good blue color purity. 25. A Randomized Controlled Study of Efficacy and Cognitive Function Improvement of Vortioxetine and Escitalopram in Patients with Depression in Chinese Han Nationality.

Abstract

To assess the efficacy and safety of Vortioxetine and Escitalopram in improving cognition in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). Methods: At baseline, 131 MDD patients and 70 healthy controls completed the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-17), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale (SHAPS) and MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery (MCCB). Patients with MDD were randomly divided into Vortioxetine (n = 62) and Escitalopram (n = 69) groups with an 8-week follow-up research. ANOVA for repeated measurement was utilized to compare the efficacy of Vortioxetine and Escitalopram. Results: The total scores of HAMD-17, HAMA and SHAPS scales had statistical difference between MDD cases and healthy controls (P < 0.001) at baseline. After 8 weeks of treatment, the scale scores of the HAMD-17, HAMA and SHAPS had lowered in both groups, with no statistical difference between two groups (P > 0.05). At baseline, MDD patients had defects in Speed of Processing, Attention Vigilance, Verbal Learning, Visual Learning, Reasoning and Problem Solving, and Social Cognition, compared with healthy controls. After 8 weeks of treatment with Vortioxetine or Escitalopram, the patients had improved in the aspects of cognitive functions above except Social Cognition. Numerical improvements of MCCB scale were found in the two groups, P > 0.05. Most adverse events were mild or moderate, with nausea being the most common adverse event. Conclusion: Both Vortioxetine and Escitalopram can improve the mental status and cognitive functions in MDD patients, with mild or moderate adverse events. 31. Blue Multiresonance Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Conjugated Polymers for Solution-Processable Narrowband Blue Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with High Color-Purity

Abstract

Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) conjugated polymers generally exhibit red-shifted photoluminescence (PL) spectra compared to their TADF chromophores, owing to the extension of conjugation along the polymeric backbone. Developing blue TADF-conjugated polymers, particularly those with high color purity, continue to pose a significant challenge. Herein, we design and synthesize a batch of blue multiresonance (MR)-TADF-conjugated polymers, by grafting an MR-emitting moiety as a pendant onto a conjugated backbone through the unilateral para-carbon position of the nitrogen atom within the MR moiety. These new polymers exhibit blue emissions with PL emission peaks ranging from 459 to 477 nm, accompanied by full width at half-maximum (FWHM) values between 24 and 27 nm. Their electroluminescent devices via solution-processing demonstrate pure blue emissions with a EQEmaxof 10.1%, Commission Internationale de I’Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.14, 0.12) and a FWHM of 31 nm, peaking at 462 nm, which demonstrate the best performance among TADF conjugated polymer-based blue organic light-emitting diodes with CIEyvalues of below 0.15.

33. Mini-Review on Influence of CO2-Enhanced Coalbed Methane Recovery and CO2Geological Storage on Physical Properties of Coal Reservoir

Abstract

CO2-Enhanced Coalbed Methane Recovery (CO2-ECBM) not only enhances coalbed methane (CBM) recovery but also facilitates CO2geological storage within coal seams. The modification of coal reservoir physical properties due to CO2injection significantly impacts CBM recovery, CO2injection, and storage safety. This review initially focuses on elucidating the manifestations and underlying mechanisms of alterations in the physical properties of coal reservoirs, encompassing adsorption capacity, pore structure, permeability, and mechanical behavior. Subsequently, the influence factors of CO2-ECBM and geological storage on modification of coal reservoir physical properties are reviewed, such as temperature, pressure, reaction time, mineralogical characteristics, coal rank, and water. Finally, the challenges and perspectives are discussed, including (1) the role of coalbed water in modifying coal reservoir physical properties, (2) the implications of caprock alteration for the security of geological CO2sequestration, (3) the synergistic mechanisms underlying long-term storage of CO2within coal reservoirs, and (4) the heterogeneity of coal reservoir modification in three-dimensional space.
