The power grid of a multi-electric aircraft is a typical isolated island microgrid with a wide frequency range from 360 to 800 Hz. The dynamic performance of the traditional constant-frequency power grid synchronization method is insufficient in the variable frequency power grid of the multi-electric aircraft. An adaptive enhanced complex-coefficient filter-based phase locked loop (AECCF-PLL) is designed for the variable frequency power grid by integrating an adaptive module into the enhanced complex-coefficient filter-based phase locked loop to accurately estimate the state of variable frequency power grid. The relationship between the transfer function and the step response is analyzed. The relationship between the model parameters and the frequency is derived, and the frequency adaptive module is established to meet the requirements for stability and rapidity in the state estimation of the variable frequency power grid. The experimental results show that the proposed AECCF-PLL can achieve the rapid and stable estimation of the state of the variable frequency power grid when there are disturbances such as large or small frequency jumps, harmonics and slopes.

Cushing′s syndrome (CS), an endocrine disorder resulting from excessive glucocorticoid secretion by the adrenal cortex, poses significant challenges to both diagnosis and treatment. The diagnostic process involves comprehensive evaluation, combining laboratory tests and imaging studies for screening, qualification, and localization. Surgical intervention remains the primary treatment approach, although pharmacological therapy also plays a crucial role. With an increasing understanding of the pathogenesis of CS, more potential targets for orphan drug development have been discovered. This article summarizes the current status of diagnosis and treatment for CS and provides an outlook on future research directions.

SUMMARY Thyroid storm is a rare but well-known life-threatening complication that occurs due to acute exacerbation of thyrotoxicosis with the increased levels of circulating thyroid hormones. Reports of metabolic encephalopathy associated with thyroid storm are scarce. We describe the case of a 23-year-old male patient with no previous history of abnormal thyroid function who had consumed excessive amounts of alcohol before disease onset. The patient was found unconscious and febrile on a roadside by a passerby and was admitted to our hospital's emergency department. His primary clinical presentation included hyperthermia (40.8 °C), nodal tachycardia (180 beats/min), seizures, coma, and hypoglycemia (2.18 mmol/L). The hypoglycemia was quickly corrected after admission, but his level of consciousness showed no improvement. With aggressive screening, the patient was found to have severe thyroid dysfunction (T3 = 6.67 nmol/L, T4 = 252.00 nmol/L, free T3 = 29.20 pmol/L, free T4 = 65.30 pmol/L, and TSH = 0.001 μIU/mL). After medical treatment, plasmapheresis, hemofiltration, and hemoperfusion, the patient showed substantial improvement in thyroid hormone levels and stabilization of vital signs, but the impaired consciousness and seizures persisted. Multiple computed tomography scans revealed brain abnormalities. Magnetic resonance imaging performed after tracheal extubation revealed bilateral frontal lobe lesions. We reported a case of metabolic encephalopathy in a patient with life-threatening thyroid storm and bilateral frontal lobe lesions. Hypoglycemia may have been involved in the development of encephalopathy in our patient. Health care providers should consider thyroid storm in the differential diagnosis of hyperthermia, seizures, and coma. Early plasmapheresis, hemofiltration, and hemoperfusion can lower T4 levels and improve prognosis in patients with thyroid storm and encephalopathy.

The omni-directional mobile manipulator robot (OMMR) is a class of a new robot with activating operating capability, which is composed of one or more manipulators mounted on a mobile platform. However, after the manipulator is installed on the mobile platform, the coupling effect between the manipulator and the mobile platform will significantly increase the complexity of the dynamic behavior of the whole system, involving the dynamic interaction between the ground and the mobile platform, the mobile platform and the manipulator, the manipulator and the operating environment, which brings great difficulties to the modeling of the system. Based on establishing the kinematics and statics models of OMMR, this study presents a simplified modeling approach of OMMR system dynamics. Based on this dynamic model, the vehicle-manipulator interaction model is established, and its interaction is analyzed. Simulation and experiments verify the correctness of the vehicle-manipulator interaction model, indirectly prove the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed OMMR system dynamics modeling approach, and provide model data for motion planning and control of robots.

Chiral metasurfaces have great potential in various applications such as polarimetric imaging and biomedical recognition. However, simultaneous broadband and high circular dichroism (CD) with high polarization extinction ratio (PER) remains a challenge. Here, we present a novel approach to realize simultaneous broadband and high CD with high PER in the optical communication band using a two-dimensional all-dielectric chiral metasurface. The structure is formed by a two-level chiral structure of split cross (first-order) and trapezoid-shaped (second-order) of Si nano ribs, respectively, in which constructively coupled first- and second-order of chirality occurs, resulting in the broad chiral response in the far field of multipoles excited by incident light of different chiralities. Theoretical results show that a CD in transmission reaching 0.9 (up to 0.993) and a PER exceeding 20 dB (up to 35 dB) over the entire wavelength range from 1.39 to 1.61 μm can be achieved simultaneously, consistent with the experimental results of CD ∼0.9 and PER of 10 dB (up to 19.7 dB). Our design paves the way for chiral metasurfaces toward practical applications in terms of working bandwidth, high CD and PER as well as integrality of the devices in many fields.

Objective·To explore the characteristics of sensory gating and its variation in children with first episode schizophrenia (COS) by using a new technique of prepulse suppression (PI).Methods·By using the ERP recording and analysis system of brain products, PI was detected in 56 patients with COS and 38 healthy children (NC) using the paradigm of single strong stimulus and weak stimulus+strong stimulus. The patients′ performance was comprehensively evaluated with Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), Social Disability Screening Schedule (SDSS), Social Adjustment Rating Scale (SSRS), and Family Interview Schedule (FIS).Results·The social objective support formed by summing up the above scales was compared with the quantitative stanard of social support [the standard of social support scale was (8±2) points, and the value of COS group was (10±3) points], and the difference was statistically significant (P=0.007). No correlation was found between PI and PANSS total score and each factor score (all P>0.05). The latency of startle reflex in the COS group was longer than that in the NC group [the NC group was (86±11) ms, the COS group was (97±13) ms, P=0.001]. In the COS group, the amplitude of startle reflex of weak stimulus+strong stimulus was higher, and the latency was longer than that of the NC group [NC group: (39±12) μV, COS group (47±21) μV, P=0.007; the latency of the normal group was (84±17) ms, and that of the COS group was (97±20) ms, P=0.003]. PI inhibition rate in the COS group was lower than that in the NC group [(66±32) % in the NC group, (43±37) % in the COS group, P=0.000].Conclusion·COS patients have the same PI abnormality as adult schizophrenia. The change of PI inhibition may be the result of biological markers reflecting the change of agitated emotion in COS patients.

The oral microecological balance is closely associated with the development of dental caries. Oxidative stress is one of the important factors regulating the composition and structure of the oral microbial community. Streptococcus mutans is closely related to the occurrence and development of dental caries. The ability of S. mutans to withstand oxidative stress affects its survival competitiveness in biofilms. The oxidative stress regulatory mechanisms of S. mutans include the synthesis of reductase, the regulation of iron and manganese uptake by metalloregulatory proteins, transcription regulator Spx, extracellular uptake of glutathione and other related signal transduction systems. The current research focuses on how S. mutans adapts to a complex external environment through an oxidative stress response and its influence on oral microecology. We can design targeted small molecular compounds for key signaling pathways to inhibit oxidative stress and weaken the virulence of S. mutans, which is important for oral microecological modulation and dental caries prevention and treatment.

This paper reviews the concepts and measurement tools of person-organization fit, discusses its current situation in the field of nursing management, and analyzes the influencing factors and enlightenment of person-organization fit, so as to provide reference for nursing management. The coal flow of the belt conveyor will be mixed with anchor rod, angle iron, wood, gangue, and lump coal. This will easily lead to the tearing of the conveyor belt, the blockage of the transition and even the breakage of the belt. It is difficult for the inspection robot of the belt conveyor to efficiently and accurately recognize foreign objects in the environment of uneven lighting and high-speed running of the belt conveyor. The model deployment is inconvenient. The YOLOv7 model has a high capability to extract target features, but its recognition speed is slow. In order to solve the above problems, a foreign object recognition method of belt conveyor in coal mine based on improved YOLOv7 is proposed. The method of adaptive histogram equalization with limited contrast is used to enhance the collected monitoring image of the belt conveyor to improve the clarity of object contour in the image. The YOLOv7 model is improved by introducing a simple and parameter-free attention module into the backbone extraction network. The improved model can improve the model's anti-interference capability against the complex background of the image and the capability to extract foreign object features. The depthwise separable convolution is introduced to replace the ordinary convolution in the backbone feature extraction network to improve the speed of foreign object recognition. TensorRT engine is used to convert the improved YOLOv7 model after training and deploy it on NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX, realizing the acceleration of the model. The video of the belt conveyor with the resolution of 1 920 × 1 080 in the underground coal mine is recognized. The experimental results show that the recognition effect of improved YOLOv7 is better than YOLOv5L and YOLOv7. The recognition accuracy rate is 92.8%, and the recognition speed is 25.64 frames/s, meeting the requirements of accurate and efficient recognition of foreign objects in the belt conveyor.

Currently, there is still a lack of effective treatment options for intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). It remains crucial to explore treatment to alleviate the secondary brain injury after ICH and improve the prognosis. Nuclear factor ⁃erythroid 2⁃related factor 2 (Nrf2) is the key transcriptional factor during oxidative stress. It also plays an important role in the secondary injury after ICH. This article reviews the regulatory mechanism of Nrf2 and its protective role in the secondary brain injury after ICH, to explore its possibility as a therapentic target.

Objective: The effects of superfine chestnut powder on sponge cake quality was studied, aiming to provide a certain theoretical reference for improving the quality of bakery food. Methods: To explore the superfine chestnut powder adding amount on the sponge cake texture, sensory, baking, aging characteristics and nutritional quality, different contents of superfine chestnut powder were added during the making process of sponge cake. Results: The hardness, elasticity, chewiness and specific volume of cake had no significant change compared with the control group when chestnut powder was added less than 10%. The addition of chestnut powder could reduce the brightness and yellowness while increase the redness of the cake, and the effect on the color of the cake core was greater than that on the surface. Adding chestnut powder could reduce the cake bakingloss, aging enthalpy value and increase its nutritional quality. When the content of chestnut powder was 5%, the cake had the best color, shape, taste, hardness and overall preference. In general, the appropriate amount of superfine chestnut powder was 5%~10%. Conclusion: The addition of superfine chestnut powder endowed the sponge cake with better quality.

【Background and objective】 Sanjiang Plain is located in the northeast Heilongjiang Province, formed by alluvial and diluvial deposits of Heilong, Wusuli River and Songhua Rivers. Its fertile soils make it one of most important grain production bases in China. Irrigation consumes more than 90% of extracted groundwater in these regions. To sustain its groundwater usage, it is important to understand the impact of climate change and androgenetic activities on groundwater. The purpose of this paper is to address this issue. 【Method】 The analysis was based on groundwater dynamics in typical regions across the plain, and the stepwise support vector regression (SVR) was established to simulate groundwater dynamics in non-irrigated season (October to next April) and irrigated season (May to September). Climate change scenarios were taken from the CMIP6 and the change in groundwater extraction for irrigation were applied to evaluate the response of groundwater depth to climate change from 2020 to 2050. 【Result】 From 2001 to 2017, the depth of groundwater table in typical areas had risen at a rate of 0.2 m/a, largely due to precipitation in non-irrigation season and pumping in irrigated season. Compared with 2001—2017, the annual precipitation increased by 26.76 mm under the SSP585 scenario. If groundwater exploitation increased by 5% annually until 2025, the depth of groundwater table would increase by 17.11 cm in irrigation season and decrease by 1.35 cm in non-irrigation season. Under the medium development scenario of SSP245, the annual precipitation may increase by 38.83 mm in average. If the amount of exploitation remains unchanged on average for many years until 2050, groundwater depth will decrease by 9.50 cm in irrigated season and 1.77 cm in non-irrigated season. Under the sustainable development scenario SSP126, the annual precipitation may increase by 26.56 mm in average. If groundwater exploitation is reduced by 5% annually until 2025, the depth of groundwater table will rise by 19.76 cm in irrigated season and 0.92 cm in non-irrigated season. 【Conclusion】 Groundwater exploitation is the dominant determinant of groundwater change in Sanjiang plain, and climate change affects groundwater in non-irrigation season more than in irrigation season. The rational use of groundwater can effectively alleviate continued decline in regional groundwater table. The stepwise modeling we proposed can effectively model annual variation in groundwater budget in irrigated areas, and simulate the response of groundwater to climate change and anthropogenic activities.

Objective To investigate the expression and function of protein tyrosine phosphatase 4A3(PTP4A3) in terminal erythroid differentiation and underlying molecular mechanism. Methods RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression of Ptp4a3 during terminal differentiation. Knockdown of Ptp4a3 expression in mouse fetal liver induced erythroid differentiation system by short hairpin RNA(shRNA) interference, the knockdown efficiency was verified by RT-qPCR after GFP positive cells were sorted by flow cytometry, and the effect of Ptp4a3 knockdown on erythroid differentiation and enucleation was detected by flow cytometry. Transcriptional profiling was performed to explore the potential downstream pathways of Ptp4a3. Results Ptp4a3 was among the top 100 ranked expressing genes during mouse terminal erythroid differentiation, and its expression gradually increased following the differentiation process. In mouse fetal liver-derived erythroid cells, Ptp4a3 was successfully knocked down by shRNA interference. Flow cytometry analysis showed that Ptp4a3 knockdown significantly decreased the proportion of enucleated erythrocytes(P＜0.05). Transcriptome analysis revealed that Ptp4a3 knockdown resulted in upregulation of cell cycle-related genes. Conclusions PTP4A3 is highly expressed in late stage of terminal erythroid differentiation. Knockdown Ptp4a3 significantly reduces enucleation erythroid of cells.

Dynamic structural color based on tunable optical resonance plays a key role in applications including encryption visualization, camouflage and colorimetric sensing. However, the current design requires either complex growth processes of the high-quality tunable materials or complicated circuit designs. This work makes a humidity-swelling hydrogel layer for metal–insulator–metal (MIM) structure in the dynamic multi-color display. Here, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) hydrogel structure is patterned through grayscale e-beam lithography and the controlled PVA thickness leads the programmable reflective resonance covering the entire visible range. By varying the ambient humidity between 9.8 and 90.1% RH, the reflective resonance of the structure is tailored across a wavelength range over 100 nm. Our materials platform of humidity-sensitive hydrogel resist presents a novel approach of the stepwise and reversible optical tunability for photonic devices.

Objective To construct a deep learning automatic segmentation model based on the magnetic resonance image (MRI) of the pelvic floor, and make the intelligent segmentation of the pelvic floor MR image so as to reduce the work intensity of doctors and improve the segmentation efficiency and accuracy of levator ani muscle. Methods Based on DenseUnet model, a network structure composed of encoder module, context extraction module and decoder module was established; In the context extraction module, we used dilated convolution and pyramid pooling module to overcome the disadvantages that Unet uses less context information and global information under different receptive fields. We employed the MRI data of 19 patients, including 14 normal cases, 1 case of grade 1 pelvic organ prolapse (POP1) and 2 cases of grade 2 pelvic organ prolapse (POP2) as training sets. One normal pelvic floor MRI image and 1 POP2 pelvic floor MR image were used for verification. Results The model can segment levator ani muscle in pelvic floor MR image automatically and effectively. Through verification, the average similarity coefficient of levator ani muscle in the test set is 77.1%, the average Hausdorff distance is 16 mm, and the average symmetry plane distance is 0.9 mm. The average similarity coefficient of levator ani muscle in normal volunteers was 81.2%, and that of POP2 female pelvic floor levator ani muscle was 74.5%. Conclusion The segmentation accuracy of DenseUnet model is better than that of Unet, ResUnet and Unet++. It has a strong practical value in the automatic segmentation task of levator ani muscle in MRI images. Through the automatic segmentation of levator ani muscle, the repetitive work of doctors is reduced, and the work efficiency is improved. At the same time, it also provides an alternative for the intelligent auxiliary diagnosis and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse.

Exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) is linked to neurotoxic effects. This study aims to close knowledge gaps regarding the specific modes of action of PCBs in female C57BL/6J mice (>6 weeks) orally exposed for 7 weeks to a human-relevant PCB mixture (MARBLES mix) at 0, 0.1, 1, and 6 mg/kg body weight/day. PCB and hydroxylated PCB (OH-PCBs) levels were quantified in the brain, liver, and serum; RNA sequencing was performed in the striatum, prefrontal cortex, and liver, and metabolomic analyses were performed in the striatum. Profiles of PCBs but not their hydroxylated metabolites were similar in all tissues. In the prefrontal cortex, PCB exposure activated the oxidative phosphorylation respiration pathways, while suppressing the axon guidance pathway. PCB exposure significantly changed the expression of genes associated with neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases in the striatum, impacting pathways like growth hormone synthesis and dendrite development. PCBs did not affect the striatal metabolome. In contrast to the liver, which showed activation of metabolic processes following PCB exposure and the induction of cytochrome P450 enzymes, the expression of xenobiotic processing genes was not altered by PCB exposure in either brain region. Network analysis revealed complex interactions between individual PCBs (e.g., PCB28 [2,4,4'-trichlorobiphenyl]) and their hydroxylated metabolites and specific differentially expressed genes (DEGs), underscoring the need to characterize the association between specific PCBs and DEGs. These findings enhance the understanding of PCB neurotoxic mechanisms and their potential implications for human health.

When the wind turbine pitch system is in operation, due to the strong coupling of the internal structure of the system, it is difficult to accurately locate the fault only relying on prior knowledge. And when using the data-driven contribution graph method for fault location, due to the influence of the fault variable, the contribution value of the non-fault variable will become larger, which will cause a tailing effect and misdiagnosis. In this paper, a multiblock kernel principal component algorithm (MBKPCA) is proposed. In this algorithm, the variables of the pitch system operation process are divided into several variable blocks based on the historical fault data and perform faults based on the kernel principal component algorithm for each variable block diagnosis. Taking historical data of an area in North China as an actual calculation example, the proposed block kernel principal component analysis algorithm is compared with the traditional kernel principal component analysis algorithm. The results show that the MBKPCA can effectively reduce the “tailing effect” of the fault variable on the non-fault variable when the contribution graph method is used to identify the fault source, and the method can accurately locate the fault source and achieves higher detection accuracy.

HXK (Hexokinase) gene family and the role of JcHXK1 in Jatropha curcas L. were explored. Totally 4 HXK genes JcHXK1, JcHXK2, JcHXK3 and JcHKL1 were identified and complete ORF of JcHXK1 was cloned. Functional domain, phylogenetic evolution and low-temperature expression characteristics were analyzed. Results showed that full-length JcHXK1 cDNA was 1497 bp, encoding 498 amino acids with molecular weight of 53.81 ​kDa and pI of 5.03. Further phylogenetic evolutionary analysis demonstrated HXK1 protein was clustered into 6 small branches and 2 large branches. Sequence alignment showed that HXK1 contained several conserved glycine residues and hydrophobic channels. Prokaryotic expression vector of JcHXK1 was constructed and 12% SDS-PAGE detection showed that it was highly expressed in E. coli. These research was expected to lay a foundation for further gene functional verification and cold signal transduction mechanism for HXK1 in Jatropha curcas L.

In a core basin,the city agglomeration and developed economy often lead to huge resource consumption,which seriously damages the surrounding ecological resources.As the traditional quantitative dynamic calculation method of ecological compensation is greatly affected by the natural environment in the core basin,the accuracy of the quantitative calculation is poor.Therefore,a quantitative dynamic calculation method of ecological compensation for a core basin based on the reduction cost of pollutants is proposed.In this paper,the gray parameters of any pixel in a core basin image are described,and the feature extraction matrix is smoothed by the filtering function.By judging the quality of ecological compensation characteristics,the ecological compensation features in the core basin are extracted.Moreover,the gray threshold for the classification of ecological compensation features and the use conditions of parameters are given,and the plane component of the optimal ecological compensation feature is calculated.Then,the calculation method of pollutant reduction costs is applied to evaluate the loss caused by environmental pollution and vegetation damage in the core basin,and with the calculation of water conservation in the ecosystem,the ecological compensation of the core basin is calculated quantitatively and dynamically.The experimental results reveal that the method improves the accuracy of quantitative dynamic calculation of ecological compensation and shortens the calculation time.This indicates that the calculation performance of this method is superior,and it can provide accurate ecological supplementary suggestions and a basis for the ecological compensation analysis in the core area.

In this study, a pore-scale simulation method is applied to quantitatively study the variation of solute dilution through porous media with different cementation degrees and explore the corresponding mechanisms. The study results indicated that the cementation degrees of the solid grains had a significant effect on the solute dilution process and that the influence was very complicated. The complexity was manifested in that the effect of rising cementation degree on the solute dilution process would be different or even completely opposite in the porous media in which the solid grains cement slightly with that in porous media with a higher cementation degree. For example, for the porous media in which the solid grains were slightly cemented (the percentage of the cemented solid grains Pc is less than 40%), the dilution effects became enhanced with the increase of cementation degree. Then, after Pc increased to about 55%, the dilution effect was obviously weakened, and the solute was in an incomplete dilution state for a long period of time. In addition, this study found that the properties of the flow fields may vary greatly in porous media with different cementation degrees and that those differences in the flow fields resulted in the distinct behavior of the solute dilution. It is interesting to note that a more heterogeneous flow field had not necessarily led to the enhancement of the dilution process.

Venous leg ulceration (VLU) is one of the complications of lower extremity venous reflux and reflux disorder of severe diseases, with many adverse effects on patient’s work and life. Nowadays, more and more patients with VLU accept wound care in community setting. Clinical nurses generally take care of the patients based on their own experiences. Healing in VLU is an incredibly complex process, which puzzles even experts. The majority of general nurses do not have this level of expertise, especially those nurses serving in community. Function is the basis of nursing activities. Patients always show different clinical manifestations and self-care abilities due to various function states, which cannot be reflected completely by the existing nursing practice. How to describe nursing practice standardized in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of interventions and facilitate interdisciplinary communication is another urgent problem. Therefore, the aim of this project is to develop an accurate nursing program based on function in chronic venous leg ulcers, which can both satisfy the needs of patients and promote nursing revolution.
