Homeless cats in cities mainly include feral, roaming/stray, and community cats, which are collectively referred to as stray cats within the current social framework and norms. The large numbers of stray cats found in society and social spaces are more often than not regarded as problematic luminal animals, and their value in spatial construction and reflective significance are largely obscured. In fact, stray cats play a crucial role in human living spaces, and their survival activities have rich spatial production significance. In particular, in the era of digital intelligence, state-of-the-art media technology plays an important role in the spatial production of cultural and interpersonal interactions. Thus, on the basis of geomedia theory, we used case analysis, text analysis, technical walkthrough, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews in this study to better analyze the media practice of helping cats and elaborate on the reconstruction of space by geomedia and its role in shaping the relationships between people, media, stray cats, and space. By focusing on the interactions between people, stray cats, and media in both society and virtual space, we explored 1) the process of helping stray cats and the methods cat helpers used to construct cat assistance spaces; 2) how cat helpers interact with stray cats; and 3) the interpersonal communication or conflicts that occurred during the process of assisting cats and the roles they played in shaping and recognizing spatial locations. The Jiemao APP was the main tool used for observation and data collection, whereas TikTok and Station B were used as auxiliary tools for these same purposes. Concurrently, four communities (J, H, M, and Y) where cat houses were located were selected in W City, J Province for a 3-months offline observation. The reason for choosing these four communities is that their cat houses have a higher number of Jiemao APP subscribers in the same city, and cat house applicants are more proactive in managing their cat houses. Our study found that with the support of geomedia such as mobile phones and the Jiemao APP, multiple actors have constructed a cat assistance space that breaks through virtual and real dimensions in terms of dynamic interaction. On the one hand, the constructed virtual space expands the boundaries of meanders for cat lovers. On the other hand, the deployment of different platforms and monitoring systems exposes past offline as well as previously unseen, overlooked, and obscured events to the network, enhancing visible density and unleashing the effect of super visibility. Second, as non-human actors, the flow (transfer, relocation, and demolition) of cats and cat houses in cat assistance spaces is accompanied by dialogue, negotiation, and struggles between humans and space. Specifically, the impacts of environmental and climatic factors, as well as changes in the movement trajectory of stray cats, affect the transfer of cat houses. The human destruction of cat houses affects their relocation, whereas the decisions made by property management and their management styles affect the demolition of cat houses. Third, the cat helper encounters different actors in the constructed mixed space through geomedia, and the same or an opposite relationship is generated during this process. The interaction between stakeholders not only affects their understanding of the place but also shapes their local memory as well as the cultural atmosphere, meaning of existence, and evolution of the place. From a practical perspective, the contemplation of survival relationships between different species in the same space contributes to the reflexive and constructive significance of this study. From a theoretical perspective, this study found that previous research frameworks have mainly focused on exploring co-creations between humans and the environment, with stray cats being typically overlooked in such studies. Therefore, this study further subdivided geomedia into "technological geomedia" and "life-form geomedia" to break out of the framework of past research perspectives and thereby describe the mechanism of spatial construction of coexistence between humans and stray cats.

Many theoretical methods have been applied to research user behaviour and requirements. However, the uncertainty associated with customer characteristics often biases the conclusions drawn from customer research and affects the effectiveness of product design. In this paper, Bayesian networks (BN) are introduced into the research on customer behaviour analysis based upon theory of planned behaviour (TPB), and an analysis model driven by customer research data is established from the perspective of user behaviour intention to guide design optimisation. Combining the User background Factor with the TPB Factor, the model analyses the uncertainty of the association between the two, and corrects the errors in the designer's prior knowledge through structural learning. By a case study the paper finds that the evaluations that enhance customers' subjective norms and perceived behavioural control lead to a greater probability of purchase or use. In addition, customers with specific characteristics are more inclined to generate behaviour intention. The paper finally provides a design optimisation plan based upon the result of the research and discusses about the advantages of the research approaches and the directions of future researches. ● Low-value biowaste including wood chip and potato peel was valorized to syngas.● O2-blown co-gasification of wood chip and potato peel was simulated.● Different reaction conditions on CCE, gas composition, and LHV were studied.● Positive interaction between wood chip and potato peel in co-gasification was found. Potato is the fifth largest agricultural crop in Canada and contributes to the generation of an abundant amount of potato peel. However, disposal/recycling this peel remains a challenge due to the stringent environmental regulations. Consequently, there is a lack of an appropriate recycling and valorization methods of potato peel. Gasification is an effective technology for producing syngas and an ecofriendly waste disposal approach. Syngas is an important industrial intermediate to produce synthetic fuels and chemicals. To develop an ecofriendly and cost-effective valorization approach for potato peel, this study used a mixture of woody biomass (i.e., wood chips) and potato peel to produce syngas by co-gasification using O2 as the gasifying agent at a constant equivalence ratio of 0.3 using Aspen Plus simulation software. The influences of gasification temperature and wood chip/potato peel weight ratio on the carbon conversion efficiency (CCE), and product gas composition (molar fraction) and lower heating value (LHV) of product gas were investigated. This simulation indicated that a positive synergistic interaction occurs between wood chips and potato peel in co-gasification process in terms of an increase in CCE by comparing the arithmetic value and real value at all simulated wood chip to potato peel weight ratios (44.9% to 85.8%, 46.5% to 76.2%, and 48.1% to 78.6% at ratios of 25:75, 50:50, and 75:25, respectively, for wood chips to potato peel). While the molar fraction of H2 and CO decreased continuously with increase in the weight percentage of wood chips in the wood chip-potato peel mixture from 0 wt% to 100 wt% (H2, at 42.1 mol% to 41.4 mol%; and CO at 44.0 mol% to 40.4 mol%), accompanied by a decrease of the LHV of the product gas (10.3 to 9.78 MJ·Nm−3). The study concluded that co-gasification for producing syngas is feasible and environmental-friendly option to recycle and valorize potato peel.

In order to explore the influence of thermodynamic theory on the cooling characteristics of vortex tube control used to create artificial environment in mine, based on the first and second laws of thermodynamics are adopted to analyze the thermodynamic characteristics of fluid in vortex tube, the energy separation mechanism are explored, and the refrigeration characteristics are obtained. Using the three-dimensional fluid domain coupling method, the continuous-discontinuous model is established. Through the calculation of different mathematical models and different calculation methods, it is compared with the experimental results of Aljuwayhel. With the difference of refrigeration effect as the judgment index, the separation of pressure and velocity coupling variables is determined using the SIMPLEC algorithm. The anisotropic Reynolds stress RSM turbulence model is the most accurate, and the deviation of refrigeration effect is calculated within 12%. The analysis of the flow field in the vortex tube shows that the distribution of fluid velocity, fluid pressure and temperature flow field in the tube is basically consistent with the theory based on thermodynamic design. The simulation conclusion that the static temperature change caused by fluid temperature separation in the tube is caused by fluid heat and work conversion verifies the energy transfer process in the vortex tube.

This study aimed to investigate whether saline silt and sandy loam coastal soils could be reclaimed by micro-sprinkler irrigation. The experiments were run using moderately salt-tolerant tall fescue grass. Micro-sprinkler irrigation in three stages was used to regulate soil matric potential at a 20-cm soil depth. Continued regulation of soil water and salt through micro-sprinkler irrigation consistently resulted in an increasingly large low-salinity region. The application of the three stages of soil water–salt regulation resulted in an absence of salt accumulation throughout the soil profile and the conversion of highly saline soils into moderately saline soils. There were increases in the plant height, leaf width, leaf length, and tiller numbers of tall fescue throughout the leaching process. The results showed that micro-sprinkler irrigation in three soil water and salt regulation stages can be used to successfully cultivate tall festuca in highly saline coastal soil. This approach achieved better effects in sandy loam soil than in silt soil. Tall fescue showed greater survival rates in sandy loam soil due to the rapid reclamation process, whereas plant growth was higher in silt soil because of effective water conservation. In sandy loam, soil moisture should be maintained during soil reclamation, and in silt soil, soil root-zone environments optimal for the emergence of plants should be quickly established. Micro-sprinkler irrigation can be successfully applied to the cultivation of tall fescue in coastal heavy saline soils under a three-stage soil water–salt regulation regime.

Text generation is a hot field in natural language processing. With the increasing capability of information collection, more and more structured data, such as tables, are collected. How to solve the problem of information overload, understand the table meaning and describe the table content is an important problem of artificial intelli-gence, so the task of table-to-text generation appears. Table-to-text generation refers to the language model input table data generated after the corresponding text description of the table. The text description generated by the model should express the information of the table smoothly and not deviate from the fact of the table. Firstly, this paper describes and defines the task background from table-to-text generation in detail, analyzes the main difficulties of the task, and introduces the main research methods. There are two major issues on table-to-text generation: what to describe and how to describe it. This paper summarizes the methods proposed by different researchers to solve these two problems, and summarizes the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the proposed models. The performance of these excellent models on the main dataset is compared and analyzed. At the same time, the models are classified according to the model type, and the horizontal comparative analysis is carried out. This paper also introduces the common evaluation methods in the field of table-to-text generation, and summaries the characte-ristics, advantages and disadvantages of different evaluation methods. Finally, this paper prospects the future development trend of table-to-text generation task.
